461  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN = 5000$ THIS 2017? on: September 29, 2017, 11:58:26 PM
What can you say about bitcoin that pumped into 4115$. Do you think the goal of everyone for bitcoin will reach its value into 5000$ this 2017?
according to my research, bitcoin price is breaking its resistance level and if trading volume in South Korea, Japan, Europe and the US hold up. So it means there is chance to reach everyone's target. But there are factors that also affects bitcoin like in china, because the bitcoin industry on that country is over.

Bitcoin didn't pumped, its price slowly increases due to one and another good news, or it's because the nature of bitcoin regarding limited supply and high demand from people around the world. Bitcoin has real usability and utility, offers so many advantages compare to traditional banking system and fiat currency which losing its value over time. Bitcoin surely will reach $5000 by the end of this year, or even reach another ATH over $5000 if there is no any FUD spread widely among traders and bitcoin users.

463  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-09-29] Paying $15 to Send $25 Has Bitcoin Users Rethinking Practicality on: September 29, 2017, 10:57:19 PM
"Bitcoin is now in a situation where the fees are very high and are likely to continue to increase, so it’s not even competitive with PayPal or Western Union in most cases," Charles said in a phone interview.

I am not sure with PayPal, but bitcoin is better than Western Union, bitcoin has low fees.

When there’s lots of demand, users have to pay higher prices for transactions to post fast. They can pay lower fees, but then the payments will get a low priority, and postings could take days.

Current network transaction just need 10-30 minutes to get confirmed, not days. https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions

"Bitcoin cannot be used properly for commerce when a transaction costs more than $2," said Shaun Chong, lead developer of mining community Bitcoin.com Pool, which makes between 10 percent and 30 percent more in revenue now that the fees are higher.

It doesn't make sense at all, I just paid $0.5 fee to send $1500 on my last transaction, and it get confirmed after 28 minutes.
464  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud mining on: September 29, 2017, 10:30:58 PM
No worries can you point us in right direction of good cloud mining site?

I do not trust cloud mining as I've never tried one of them and mostly ended as scam. But there are few cloud mining that has been operating for years which can be stated safer than the new one, such as genesis mining. But, you are looking for a cheaper one? it maybe hard to find a legit cloud mining, as it takes more than 4 months to get ROI and many things could happen at the time.
465  Economy / Economics / Re: tax on: September 29, 2017, 09:48:55 PM
As far as I am aware in the United Kingdom tax on bitcoin earnings would be treated as capital gains as and when you sell your bitcoin.

And as far as I know people in US should report capital gains to the IRS, traders who buy and holding cryptocurrency should use capital gain or loss tax treatment on sales and exchanges, with the realization method, in the end capital gain or loss needs to be reported on that transaction based on exchange rate at the time. https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Tax_compliance
Most countries doesn't have regulations about cryptocurrency and people could trade bitcoin without pay taxes, it is a double edge sword, as people want bitcoin to be regulated, but they have to report all the income and pay taxes if a Country decide to do it. However, Japan as the first country that has legalized bitcoin has eliminated tax on the sale of bitcoin, https://cointelegraph.com/news/its-official-japan-has-eliminated-tax-on-bitcoin-rise-in-trading-expected.
466  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin without China on: September 29, 2017, 09:21:38 PM
It will be different with or without China as they have big trading volume and huge hash power, no more exchanges in China mean; bitcoin lose a part of it but can survive and recover to $4200. But without miners in China, it is a great lose due to they have the biggest hash power.
However, it seems the market doing so well till now and China doesn't ban mining pools and there are two biggest exchanges in China that still operate.
If this month bitcoin price could recover to $5000, it's not because Chinese people are not involved, unless in November when they shut down all the exchanges completely.
467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is died! on: September 29, 2017, 03:06:38 PM
https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoinobituaries/

Bitcoin Obituaries - Bitcoin has died 171 times.

The last storm has passed, but there will be always another storm which is coming. Op know about it, and just want to make a joke with it, do not take it seriously. We know bitcoin has been stated 'died' hundreds of times, but bitcoiners still support this phenomenal digital currency and bitcoin proven could stand all this time, going through all those obstacles, even though the most significant was exchanges got hacked or a big Country ban bitcoin trading.
As long as there are many people who support and believe in bitcoin, it will never died, unless there is no internet connection anymore.

469  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-09-28] When Fiat goes Paperless: Japan's J-Coin on: September 28, 2017, 11:31:51 PM
lol sounds like every country will start their own coins, and bitcoin will serve as the cyber gold for everyone.

Actually, every country that have banks will issue digital form of fiat currency which people could spend it by using some cards like debit card or credit card.
The difference is, this digital fiat currency running through bank system and digital curency running through blockchain system.
An now, many govs doing research to create their own blockchain and want to issue digital fiat currency.
470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can you mine via a desktop browser on: September 28, 2017, 11:22:15 PM
Yes there is a website which offer to mine through web browser, but I wouldn't call it mining.
It's not worth at all, as you can get more satoshi through faucets and you may have to pay more for electricity than what you will earn.
There is no easy way to mining, you need super computer and powerful gpu to build a mining rig, or you can spend so much money into cloud mining and deal with the risk until you get ROI in 4-6 months.
471  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: NEWbie TRading on: September 28, 2017, 11:12:52 PM
hello guys I have a lot of read and clear questions. how to start trading. I would like to share this website with you too much to learn here especially newbie who want to learn about trading.

Here is the website.

https://www.babypips.com/

I hope this helps for newbie.

There are few good information for newbie to learn about trading.
Newbie could learn the basic things in trading by reading many references and practice a lot.
However, trading isn't for everyone and more people get loss compare to them who could manage to get profit.
So, remember that trading is a risky activity which you need to be patient and get more information in order to buy and sell at the right time.
472  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is about to crush major resistance points (very bullish) on: September 28, 2017, 05:21:25 PM
Too early to say so, as bitcoin could recover above $4100. The only thing which should be watched is another bad news about China completely ban bitcoin. But apparently, they still haven't done it, letting the market continue to speculate, before another crash occurs if something going so bad.
More over, November hard fork in November will be happen, whether people will buy more bitcoin to get free coin or prefer to convert into cash.
473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin become Legal to the whole country, the question is? what is the basis on: September 27, 2017, 03:22:38 PM
The question is, what is the standard basis to have regular income for community in terms of value added tax if the Value of Bitcoin Currency is unstable?

Most countries does not have fix regulations about bitcoin, which mean no tax at all and people trade bitcoin on their own risk.
But, there few countries that have regulate about bitcoin, in fact people in USA have to pay taxes for their profits from bitcoin, in short or long term. Citizens will be required to determine the market value of  cryptocurrency in U.S. dollars as of the date of payment or receipt.
Income that is earned through the exchange of services with another person, whether in the form of bitcoins, dollars, or barter; is included in gross income, and would be subject to income tax at applicable rates. Also these bitcoins could be subject to self employment tax.
In some jurisdictions, income earned through the process of buying and selling bitcoins would also be included in gross income, but would be treated as capital gains.

474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I start gambling site? on: September 27, 2017, 02:18:24 PM
I have budget of 300 to 500$ for this project
Is my budget is enough to start own gambling site , exclude advertising.
How much time I need to spent on this?
Which features should I add in my gambling site? ( Games or etc.)
Anything Else or any suggestion.
PLEASE DONT COME IF YOU WANT TO LAUGH ON ME

( I don't have any knowledge but I want to invest my money somewhere which give me good profit or only profit)

Nope, I recommend to not start a gambling site with $300-$500 budget, it's not enough to cover all you need, even you may get loss.
At least you need $100 as initial capital to create a gambling site and maintain it, but you will need another BTC10 as minimum bankroll just in case.
You can invest in gambling site as bankroll but, I do not recommend to do so, it's better to invest on some potential ICO projects or buy some cheaper altcoins, then sell it at higher price. There is no an easy and instant way to doubled your money obviously, you need to be patient.
475  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-09-26] Ex-Fortress Billionaire: Crypto Market Will Be 'Largest Bubble of O on: September 27, 2017, 09:45:57 AM
If he has told the truth about the investment to be put into bitcoin, we may see another surge by the end of this year.
But the question is; whether $500 could influence the market to do so or vice versa, cause another massive sell-off.
Bitcoin is a bubble that will not pop, unless there is something big happen as the most of the bitcoin crashes always coincide with speculative run-ups coupled with some bad news, such as a major hack or a government crackdown. Many people may be involved to sell-off, if bitcoin price seems will be crash due to something big will happen.
476  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to provide liquidity for a new exchange? on: September 27, 2017, 05:02:13 AM
Hi folks,

I'm launching a new exchange and a bit stuck about providing liquidity.
I'm aware and understand technical details related with connection to a third party exchange order book.
But I want to minimise risks, losses and keep a storage in balance.

Could you suggest me links or explain how to built a proper spread and how to cover expected losses by arbitrage?

From my experience, the best ways are:

1. Obligatory: Having an API, for market makers.
2. Highly recommended: 0% or slightly negative fees for 3-6 months.
3. Highly recommended: Willing to accept not so popular coins, listed in just 1-2 exchanges.
4. Recommended: Signature campaign or other form of targeted crypto advertisement.

1. Everyone knows about it, without an API, people can not buy and sell at certain price.
2. I prefer Serpens66 idea; 0.1% taker and -0.1% maker or maker 0% and taker 0.3%.
3. It will be a trading platform, usually exchanges only list few most famous-tradable coins
4. Agree, any kind of advertising will make people aware of your exchanges, especially with several advantages offered.
5. Do not charge for deposit, and apply 1% fee for cash or coins withdrawal, do not take more than 1%.
477  Economy / Economics / Re: What should I do ? Your suggestions please. on: September 23, 2017, 11:59:32 PM
Current price of ethereum is $285, so you have passed the initial price when you bought it in the first place.
Whenever dip happens, do not sell your coins, because it's a loss, right? That's why you should planned and be able to hold it for long term, at leas 2-3 month. Invest in ICO is a good thing as well, but make sure to be picky about the best project around.
478  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Buy first BTC with unverified identity by direct debit on: September 23, 2017, 11:43:18 PM
Hi,
I would like to buy my first bitcoins by direct debit, but I'd prefer not to do the verification process, at least initially.
Is there a website that allows that?

Thank you in advance for your help!

There are several ways to do it without verify your id. But the problem is debit card, do you have cash?
The best way is otc transaction, buy bitcoin directly to someone who want to sell it, even though it's risky and that's why you should meet the person.
It's only works if you live in the same city. Where do you live? Usually, there are some bitcoin community in a country.
479  Economy / Speculation / Re: But if China gov say mining is illegal, we are fucked. Haipo Yang‏ ViaBTC CEO on: September 23, 2017, 11:26:23 PM
if 50% of mining power goes offline, we are not fucked, just Chinese miners are. It will just mean a bit of delays finding blocks until difficulty adjusts.

China top criminals might try to seize the mining equipment for a 50% attack, of course.

Sheeple ignored centralization in China, now the day of reckoning might be close. But no worries, a hardfork to another algo will fix that LOL honey badger doesn't give a shit  Grin Cool

temporarily ETH or DSH or other non-ASIC coins could moon, while BTC price would drop like a rock....

Totally agree.
Actually we are not fucked even though China ban bitcoin or mining activity, yes, the market will react and the price will drop, but it just temporarily and then bitcoin will rise again. We just left China market, and soon Japan or Russia will take over the biggest mining pools.
Consider one thing that will be profitable, if China ban mining, miners have no choice but to stop their mining activities and cut loss by selling their hardware cheaper, so others could buy it and continue to mining bitcoin.
480  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-9-22] BREAKING: Amazon Will Accept Bitcoin By October on: September 23, 2017, 11:09:53 PM
Obviously, Amazon is a big deal with more than ! million customers, more people will spend bitcoin directly to purchase some goods from Amazon.
yet Google just started, Ebay and PayPal already do, countries like Japan and Russia officially recognize bitcoin as legal payment – it really is only a matter of time before Amazon follows suit. Soon or later, in this year or next year, more business and companies will accept bitcoin payment, yes, it just time matter. Bitcoin has several advantages compare than traditional payment method, and every commerce have to consider to expand their payment method including bitcoin or they will miss the opportunity.
