Everything is possible in this market, but hodling any altcoin for longer period of time is more risky, likewise profitable on the other hand. But onething can be done to reduce the risk which is taking the initial capital whenever it's traded on 2x or more, IMHO. People be like Don't always sell all the coins and tokens you own because they can rise in future but I've hold so many coins since 2018 and only very few gives me 50$ to 70$  today, isn't this laughable?? I can only advise you to go forward, if you are really interested in Altcoins with cheap prices stored in the long run, try to choose a few Altcoins that are already listed on several well-known exchanges, for example Binance etc. The reasons for that are various, one of which is the glances from investors, that's the main point, you can see that in 2021, all Altcoins listed on well-known exchanges have increased in price, for example Doge, RVN, IOST, BTT etc, that's onlyexample. I have been investing in cryptos for some years now and i always have to fight a battle with myself whenever i sell some of my cryptos or close my positions in a trade and the price continues to go higher.

I don’t bother much about it, the only time I have to worry about it is when I sell with loss and then the price starts going up. But if I sold with enough profit and the price still continues going up, I don’t worry much about it because I got something , so there is nothing to worry about there. It is just something that you need to deal with, stop bothering yourself so much about it, once you sell your coins just take it that you have sold them and there is no regretting or whatsoever. Another thing you can do is to set a target that you believe if you reach that level you will be satisfied, then once you are there, sell and not look back at all. Seeing the higher price of crypto after it sold doesn't matter or doesn't make me mad. Gaining profit by selling is the most important because it makes you Contented in your earnings.
