Vikramajit Singh and Baas de Leede put up an excellent partnership after losing two wickets for just 50 runs. Vikramajit Singh returned to the dressing room with 50+ runs and Netherlands managed to collect 70 runs from this partnership. But after Vikramajit got out, the Netherlands team lost two more wickets very quickly. They lost the fifth wicket for 133 runs. Even though Bas de Leede is still at the crease, I don't see a chance for the Netherlands to win. It will not be possible for the team to collect 153 runs in 23 overs. It is difficult to collect against Pakistani bowlers. I guess Netherlands will be able to collect around 200-220 runs. Pakistan would win by a big margin despite being given a target of just 287 runs.

The Semi Final match of India vs Bangladesh team has already started.Bangladesh team came out to bat first and set a target of 96 runs in 20 overs.I think the runs scored by Bangladesh are very few runs.India team has performed very well in the bowling line for which Bangladesh team  The batsman was under a lot of pressure. However, if the Bangladesh team could have given a target of 150 runs in this match, there would have been a chance for the Bangladesh team to win. The Bangladesh team had a very poor performance in batting and bowling.

Netherlands won the toss and choose to bowl. The wicket again looking good for the bowlers. Van Beek got the first wicket of Fakar Zaman, his bad form continues. He couldn't anticipated the slower ball. Intial stage of the match, Babar is on the field and he is in good form. Pakistan are the favourite to win this match. One thing that is again bothering me is why the stadium is empty. I can hardly see any crowd in the stadium.

Apart from that, England didn't assist the pitch condition, and they tried to be too aggressive from the beginning even though that kind of game they were playing for the last few years still they need to control their aggression to some level cause if they want to score 330+ scores which seems the most ideal score in the modern day ODI cricket they need to back some wickets to play the big shots in the last 10 - 15 overs.

With a target of 283 runs, New Zealand came into bat in the second innings where they managed to score 67 runs at the end of 8 overs after losing one wicket. England bettors today might be tensed right now as England's first innings collection is not at all strong. England scored only 282 runs on a batting friendly wicket. The way New Zealand are batting, if they don't lose wickets too quickly, they will reach their target in forty overs. Even if England can't do well in batting, they must do well in bowling.

It is very likely that today's match will be very tough for England as England have lost four batsmen in their top order but none of the three batsmen could score a half century/century. England will need a long partnership to make a good target but it is easy to guess that England's batsmen are under pressure from New Zealand's bowling department. The Kiwis choose to bowl first after winning the toss, are they expecting something from the wicket early on? I was also expecting a batting wicket with nothing to offer to the bowlers. England would be trying to repeat their performance against the Kiwis when they played against each other in a bilateral series. Who do you think would score the highest runs today and which bowler will be successful today? I have no idea which batter would be scoring high today but Mark Wood would be my choice out of all the bowlers.

It is not going to be a repeat of 2019. New Zealand as of now is a much weakened squad. Even with the addition of Trent Boult, they are not one of the favorites. Regularly losing players to franchise T20 leagues have impacted their performance and the addition of players from South Africa (Devon Conway, Glenn Philips.etc) hasn't yet neutralized this loss. So for today's match, I would rather consider England as the overwhelming favorites. And it is going to be a tough task for New Zealand even to qualify for the semi-finals.

It should have been an easy win for Malaysia. They needed just 5 runs from the last over and in form batsmen Virandeep Singh was in strike. He had scored 52 runs from 35 balls till then. But the first three balls went for dots, and Virandeep got out in the 4th ball. Syazrul Idrus and Anwar Rahman only managed 2 runs from the next 2 balls. This is what I don't like about the associate sides. They crack under pressure and they threw away easy opportunities to win matches against full member nations. A win today would have been earth-shattering for Malaysia.

I find it very difficult for Sri Lanka team to lose the match between two teams. Sri Lanka team started with a good performance in the first innings but in the last innings the batsmen of the Sri Lanka team had a bad performance in the match. Kusal Mendis scored 158 runs off 87 balls. Kusal Mendis  Scored very good runs in this match. On the other hand the performance of Afghanistan team batsmen was very good but Sri Lanka team could not bowl well due to which Sri Lanka team lost in this match.

Bangladesh Vs Malaysia

Most of the players in this year's Asia Cup are of young generation and they have no experience of playing ODIs . However, those youngsters batted first against Malaysia in the Asian Games quarter-final and ended the innings losing 5 wickets for just 116 runs. I couldn't imagine that the youngsters of Bengal would do such a bad performance against a non-favorite team like Malaysia, but today I probably have to lose a nine dollar bet on Bangladesh batting.

Today scheduled matches were three, but we have two as completed with India vs Netherlands at Thiruvananthapuram Abandoned due to weather and with this India lost their both warm-up games due to rains and not able to have any practice but still things are good and positive for them in coming event because their mostly players are well inform after playing Asia Cup and home series against Australia.

I am worried about the Sri Lankan team. The team qualified for the finals of the Asia Cup. But in the final against India he performed terribly. They lost all the wickets by just 50 runs. And so far this team's performance has been very poor.

Sri Lanka lost badly in the first warm up match against Bangladesh. Sri Lanka set a target of just 264 runs. And Bangladesh easily reached the victory target losing only 3 wickets.

India won the match quite comfortably. Yashasvi Jaiswal batted brilliantly for his 100, and a bit of fireworks from Rinku Singh at the end of the innings gave India a respectable target to defend. The Nepal team's fielding was not up to mark. Nepal's batter did get the start but was not able to convert it to a big score and lost wickets at regular intervals. Bishnoi was brilliant with bowel. Arshdeep looked vague today. Overall, a good performance from India and some positives for the Nepal team.

New Zealand vs South Africa, 7th Warm-up game New Zealand are batting in the first innings, and they scored 171 runs in 29 overs with the loss of 1 wicket. At the moment the game is stopped due to rain, otherwise the New Zealand batsmen could have scored a lot of runs by chatting brilliantly. Moreover, two New Zealand batsmen got retd hurt today, Kane Williamson and Devon Conway both scored good runs.  However, today's match was interrupted due to rain due to which both the teams are facing problems. The match will be suspended until the weather changes, with rain threatening the match.

Australia Women vs West Indies Women
The 2nd match of Australia Women vs West Indies Women T20 series will be held today. Australia Women have a huge advantage as the game is played at home. If analyzed in all aspects, Australia Women is a stronger team than West Indies Women. T-20 ranking Australia Women number 1 team, West Indies Women number 6. West Indies Women managed to score 147 runs in the first match. Australia Women won easily in just 13.2 overs.
