I find it very difficult for Sri Lanka team to lose the match between two teams. Sri Lanka team started with a good performance in the first innings but in the last innings the batsmen of the Sri Lanka team had a bad performance in the match. Kusal Mendis scored 158 runs off 87 balls. Kusal Mendis  Scored very good runs in this match. On the other hand the performance of Afghanistan team batsmen was very good but Sri Lanka team could not bowl well due to which Sri Lanka team lost in this match.

In 8th Warm-up Match Afghanistan won by 6 wickets (DLS Method). SL 294 Scored in 1st inning and all out in 46.2 overs. AFG batting brilliant 261/4 in 38.1 over and won by 6 wickets by DLS method. Afghanistan batters Rahmanullah Gurbaz Scored hundred 119(92) and Rahmat Shah 93(82) miss his hundred by 7 runs but well played. Azmatullah Omarzai 14* in 7 and Najibullah Zadran 15(22). Sirlanka team disappointed performance in his bowling Lahiru Kumara expensive 4-52-0. Sirlinka needs to improve his bowling unit in world cup matches.

I still remember all the drama that happened during the final (England vs New Zealand) match of the 2019 World Cup, at Lord's. England virtually stole the match with the help of umpire Kumar Dharmasena. There was a throw from the fielder, which got deflected by the bat of Ben Stokes and went for boundary. England broke every cricketing rule and Dharmasena supported them. Being a gentleman, Kane Williamson refused to complain and stood there silently. Unfortunately the England captain (Eoin Morgan) behaved shamelessly and never acknowledged the contribution of the umpire in his team's win.

The first match of the 2023 World Cup is going to start tomorrow with the match between England and New Zealand. Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Studio is already ready. England and New Zealand have already reached Ahmedabad for the opening match of the World Cup. There may be an opening match ceremony today with captains of each team and Bollywood stars, but some popular Indian media reported that the opening ceremony of this World Cup may not take place, but no official news has been received from BCCI. There won't be any opening ceremony before the match tomorrow. There is Captains' Day happening today with all the 10 captains at the same venue, it will be photo-ops and press conference. Not much glitter and glam before the World Cup begins this year in India. I am not sure about the reason as there is nothing mentioned in the Indian media.

The first match would be a thrilling match. I feel the England team looks better then the Newzealand side. If I had to bet then I would surely go for England. I have checked the odds and it does favour the English side.

It is surprising to me that there is no opening ceremony in the 2023 World Cup. It looks really bad if the opening ceremony is not held in a tournament like the World Cup where the biggest film industries are based in India. We expect our favorite actors to be with our favorite cricketers and perform live but India's behavior is really surprising.

This World Cup is starting from where the last World Cup ended. The last World Cup ended with a dramatic match between England and New Zealand, the 2023 World Cup tournament will begin with the India World Cup and the England vs New Zealand match. 

England have rated the most experienced players in this World Cup, all averaging 33 plus years. 
Although England are favorites in this match against New Zealand, New Zealand has a chance to win this match as well.

That was a different time, it has been more than 4 years now I guess with that drama. In this World Cup, they would be playing in a different condition, without much support from their board. I still think England for now is the best team when we talk about white-ball cricket. They won the T20 Cup and they might win the ODI Cup. I feel the England side is much better than the Indian team, they have the best bowling attack, and they have a good batting lineup till the end. The unpleasant things that happened in the past have to be forgiven and forgotten otherwise we cannot enjoy the present.

In the end, Pakistan lost the match by 14 runs.  Pakistan lost but I am satisfied with their performance in this match. The team has proved that they have the ability to bat against big target s. But pakistan's bowlers are not able to do well.  Pakistan is not doing well even with such a strong pace attack . Pakistan's pace attack is ineffective against strong teams.  Also I will say pakistan's two openers are still out of form imam ul haque and fakhar zaman are out of form.  If these two players return to form,  pakistan's batting line-up will be stronger. The overall condition of Pakistan is still unstable. It is difficult to predict whether this team will do well in the World Cup.

Absolutely right paksitan done a good job as everyone expect  that they Gona chocked while chasing such a big Target but they changed entire expectors mind as a batting side and done something special especially after entry of baber Azam where they build a long pressure releasing partnership with iftikhar chahu and believe me such partnership put paksitan on track otherwise it will be 150+ margin defeat. While bowling side is little bit off colour after absence of naseem and the most important things is that pitch has not support/help for bolwer it behave like highway roads so here you have to just pitch good area to put batter in trouble which bowler can't.
Some journalists give prediction that even paksitan may be Gona lose against Netherlands which I believe is meaningless statement but anyway I back Pakistan teams and believe at least they will be semifinalist or may be finalist.

Media reports clearly indicating there could be no opening ceremony even this is surprising for me as well, but they are not going to have any fun on this first day of this mega event.

But still I have believed we will have action packed cricket from these all teams in this event if we have no too much interruption from the rain which is expected in three or four cities of India which are also part of this event.

In my opinion, Khusal Mendis from Sri Lanka showed a great performance and played the best innings of 158 runs off 87 balls, but even his best performance could not lead his team to victory. I found K Mendes performance to be the best among all the players. The most disappointing aspect of the Sri Lankan innings is the fall of the last six wickets for just 23 runs, because Sri Lanka innings still had 3.4 overs left. Mohammad Nabi bowled well in the last overs. However, Afghanistan position was very strong even without the DLS method and they would have easily won the match. I think the brilliant partnership of 212 runs for the second wicket by Afghanistan played a major role in Afghanistan winning the match.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Rahmat Shah Zurmatai both played very well and they played long and collected most of the runs in the match. These two players have a huge role to play in Afghanistan's victory. On the other hand, Kusal Mendis played the best in the entire match. He played for Sri Lanka but unfortunately he was not able to win for Sri Lanka alone. He completed 158 runs in just 87 balls. Such a wonderful performance is rarely seen. Two players played well for Afghanistan and they went on to win the match on DLS method and Afghanistan's quality of play was excellent.

One of my favorite team is Pakistan.  But looking at their performances recently I don't think they will be able to qualify for the semi-finals. Their performance is poor especially the performance of the batsmen is very erratic. Most of the pitches we have seen in warm up matches are batting friendly. We will probably see a similar pitch in the World Cup. And on such a pitch it is much more difficult to win if batsman's performance is erratic. The top order must perform well if they want to win big targets. But Pakistan's top order players are not in good form. It is also unlikely that Pakistan will qualify for the semi-finals depending on Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan's performance alone.

Pakistan's batting order performance is erratic as we have seen for a long time.  and paakistan can't  get their batting order right . pakisthan had the potential to do well in  this world cup as they have some great pace  bowlers in their squad . But the  performance of pakistan's pace bowlers is also looking  very poor now . And if this continues,  it will be impossible for pakistan to perform well and maintain consistency in the world cup.

Comparing the two teams,  New Zealand looks quite dangerous as compared to England,  they have a strong batting pairs,  their team Captain Kane Williamson is in form batsman,  he delivered his best in the previous match,  also their opening pairs,  young is a better batsman,  he was in form in the previously done Caribbean Premier League. Along with them Jimmy Neesham is their middle order batsman who is in form now a days.

On the other side,  checked the cricinfo website,  which shows the probability of both the teams,  England winning probability is 64% while New Zealand have 36%. This is due to their strong batting team consists of Dawid Malan,  Joss Buttler the captain of England Team and also Ben Stokes who is goot at bowling and also when he comes to bat ,  he hits massive sixes. No one can forget things like these because we have few really sad things related to these like England won soccer world cup and this was one of the most controversial final in soccer world cup history and then England having first ODI World Cup and this was also one of the most controversial final in ODI World Cup history even mostly we have English media crying about spirit of the game and Cricket is game of the Gentlemen, but they are having all problems under their belt.

Hopefully now in tomorrow game we will have good fight from the Kiwis which was clearly winner, but wrong decisions keep them waiting for their first big win in Cricket with recent fight in ODI series things are looking impressive and tomorrow match could be entertaining for cricket fans as well.

Afghanistan is really improved well batting side now because from recent time few of thier batter is classy and Thier form is on fire because they making bundles of runs with consistency from a long time which is quite good indication for Afghanistan because we already know that have world class bowler like Rashid, mujeeb etc but thier batting were really off colour but now they have well balanced team which will be really dangerous side for any team in world cup to face. While his captain also mentioned same thing's during world cup captain show that now we are well batting side team and looking forward for a good results. Hope thier results will be really interesting to watch because most of the time they got knockout too early so this time I believe they will play long and give us some tough and entertaining moments

We have one day left. And the ICC world Cup will starts from tomorrow. Many of the warmup matches didn't played due to rain. In the yesterday matches. Pakistan tried to their best to win but unfortunately they lost the match. And India and Netherlands didn't played due to rain. Sri Lanka and Afghanistan were playing rain interfere and Afghanistan won the match.

Tomorrow is the first ICC World Cup match between England and New Zealand. So I am excited.

1st ICC world Cup match start at 5 OCT mean tomorrow between England and New Zealand. Both teams performed well in Warm up matches series and both have same stamina to win this first match because both England and New Zealand have a strong team we also see their performances in warm up series matches new Zealand played two match and both match won by New Zealand with great performance and great margin of target. On opponent team of New Zealand, England also win one match from BAN and other match stopped due to rain. So both teams have 50 50 PERC hopes to secure their 1st victory in this ICC World Cup. Also some team show bad performance in previous warm up series hope they also do struggle for improving their team efforts in batters and bowlers

England is most strongest side and it is defending champion. England won the warm up match excellently. England player Joss buttler is very dangerous player and player excellent in every situation. This player of England is equal to one team. In last match, moen Ali performer very . Moen Ali is best all rounder of England and he is in form batsman. Joy root is performed well in last matches. Joy Root is also a good batter  , this World Cup is a competition between top teams. Big teams like England , Australia, South Africa and Pakistan will want to win this World Cup. But World Cup is for only one team which is champion at that time. India is most favorite to win this World Cup. Match will be interesting because New Zealand is very hard working team. Last World Cup Final was also between England and New Zealand and England won this match because of abundance of boundaries.

NewZealand batting first and posted a good total of 241/8 in 50 over. England are level the score 241/10 in 50 match. The Super over also score are level but England won in boundary counts. Head to head record ODI matches played 95 England won 44 and NewZealand also won 44 matches. NewZealand fast bowler trent boult required 3 wickets to complete his 200 ODI wickets. I think England are favourite to win this opening match.
