464  Economy / Economics / Re: why bitcoin is so much special than others currency ? on: December 17, 2017, 09:01:07 AM
I think that is special because everything start with bitcoin. Bitcoin have own system blockchain which is pretty impossible to hack. He managed to come from 0$ to 18 000$ and still growing. So people start believe in bitcoin, we already have some country that accepting bitcoin and allowed to pay with him. I believe that in future we will have atleast one more coin next to bitcoin but it's hard to said which.
465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am I too late to join the party? on: December 17, 2017, 07:47:40 AM
Hey guys. Finally decided to get me some coins. I have about 10k to spare. any recommendations?

It's never to late to join in party.. But you know that those who come first get the best. So you little late to get best from it.   Grin

Bitcoin will still grow but not that fast like last 20 days, so if you join now you will get profit but you will need wait middle of 2018. Better option is buying some old and good altcoin ethereum, litecoin or ripple.. Or you can buy only ethereum then invest on some ICO when it's starts so you will get 50% more token , but be careful of what you choose.
466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is the best way to invest? on: December 17, 2017, 07:39:01 AM
There are some positive and negative things about investing in ICO. It's great if you came on beginning of selling ICO and you can get even 50% more token for small price. Some of ICO at the end are successful and you can earn some good money on it. But there are negative side , many ICO just made up for taking you money and later became scam. So if you want invest , first try read whole project and try understand on what exactly you investing your money.
467  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin now the biggest bubble of all time? on: December 16, 2017, 05:53:56 PM
I just heard on local news how they said that bitcoin is big bubble , they compare it with dot-com bubble and predict the same scenario.. For them the main reason is unbelievably growing price last 2 week. They can't explain why price is growing so fast and so high. For me that is nonsense , price is going up all the time because new people coming everyday and invest in crypto world. I think that they all just jealous because they didn't invest in time like most of us did.
468  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: December 15, 2017, 05:48:21 PM
Strange that a lot of people don't understand basic English...   gambling by definition is: to stake something on a contingency.    Going out on a day with 50% chance of rain is by definition gambling.   Betting on red at a Marina Bay roulette table with a 50% chance of red or black is gambling.   Buying 100 shares of Apple with 50% chance of going up or down is gambling.  Buying 100 btc that has a 50% chance of going up or down is gambling.   You are staking something (money) on a contingency (either A or B will happen).

And for those who don't understand what a contingency is:  it's simply an event that may occur, but is not certain to occur.

 Cheesy

I don't agree with you, everyone here doesn't know what's gambling mean. For me bitcoin isn't really gambling because you buy 1 BTC and if price goes up or down you will still have 1 BTC. But you lose fiat money which you invest for buying this 1 BTC.  For me the gambling will be if you invest that 1 BTC into some other crypto currency and after few month that coin became worthless (like MICE and many others)  then you can call it gambling because you lose that 1 BTC which you invest.
469  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: your mentality after a huge loss? on: December 15, 2017, 03:16:15 PM
About 5 years ago I was try to trade with OIL and I lose it all. Because the price dropped so hard. At first I feel pretty bad and I didn't tell anyone about that. Then I was only thinking should I invest more and try getting back that money on other investment. But no I just stopped with trading on markets , then I find out about bitcoin and start investing again. But now I invest only 20% amount that I earned on bitcoin investment, so if I lose it won't hurt that much.
470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how safe is bitcoin to use with phone on: December 15, 2017, 02:46:46 PM
Till now I have a old android phone so I don't use blockchain wallet on him , because android phone have weak security system and get last update 2 year ago. Before 2 month I get new iPhone so I was thinking to having blockchain wallet on it because iOS have more often security updates. But then ,there is still risk to getting malware by downloading application from store or even worst someone stole your phone and you forget to activate 2-factor authentication. So I think I won't have wallet on my phone.
471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin? on: December 15, 2017, 05:20:36 AM
People holding bitcoins with two reason. First reason is that they wait for bigger price (someone for 6 digit number) so they will get more profit when will sell it. Second reason is they waiting when will be able to spend bitcoins in store like we do with fiat now. I'm holding in because I'm waiting that our country government solve the tax about bitcoins.
472  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will 2018 might easy to see 30-40k/BTC? on: December 14, 2017, 06:47:48 PM
Because of tether issue we will not see 30k$ by the end of 2018 but for sure we will see 50k$ end of 2019
I am waiting for a huge correction in bitcoin price. maybe around 8000$ price

I think that there won't be that huge correction , maybe if drop on 13k/BTC. In my opinion we can expect 30k$ at the end of 2018 , because there are many people (investor) which just now when price break 16k/BTC heard on news about cryptocurrency. Only thing that can turn them down from buying bitcoins is a slow transaction between wallets.

473  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading or working in signature campaigns? on: December 14, 2017, 04:28:13 PM
You can't put trading and working in signature campaigns in same basket. It's two different worlds. If you decide for trading you must first learn how to trade ,plus you must be prepare to take a risk that you can lose some money. So I would recommend you to being active here on bitcointalk forum , try to write good and interested post , try to help new members with answering on their questions. Maybe you will get noticed from some owner of signature campaigns and he invite you in his campaign. With signature campaigns you can't lose money.
474  Economy / Economics / Re: Easiest way to make BTC? on: December 14, 2017, 03:19:01 PM
In my opinion there no easiest way to earn bitcoin this days, except if you buy it with money.
Here some suggestion:
1. if you join to signature company , but you must have atleast full member rank and you must follow the rules.
2. if you have good skills with editing or programming.
3. if you have many free time to claiming faucet (but this days rate/claim was too low)

I earned first satoshi with faucet few years ago , there was a good rate so I earned almost 0,01 BTC per day. But after few days I bought btc, because claiming faucets is taking too much time.
475  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: December 14, 2017, 05:14:38 AM
Which one suits you the most?

I'm using the blockchain.info because it's is pretty stable and simple to use for transaction between wallets. I think that it is safe for holding bitcoins there, if you have all security options turned ON.
Good thing is that they added ETH wallet inside same account too.
476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: December 13, 2017, 07:14:13 PM
is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? anyhow this money sits in the bank and do nothing for!

For me it's definitely high risk investment. Maybe if you did it 2013 when price was dropped from 1000$ to around 400$ , because there was a good chance that price will goes up to 1000$ again.
Today when price is 16 000$ it's seems pretty risky to invest all money. I have good saving on bank too I getting only 2,5% interest per year , but there are no risk for losing that , and I will never invest that money in something like bitcoin. Because I can lose it all.

So for my opinion invest only amount that if you lose all , you can live with it.
477  Economy / Economics / Re: Why did you choose bitcoin? on: December 13, 2017, 06:34:45 PM
When I started to interesting about crypto things , first currency I heard was bitcoin. Then I take some research and find out that there are few more crypto currency out there (3 year ago) .There was a LiteCoin and I think that DogeCoin just came out, but ofc I wasn't interested for buying that. So I invest little cash into Bitcoin because he fall from 1000$ to only 400$ so I expected that he will raise again. If you look now I made good decision back there. If I go invest today I will choose bitcoin again, he seems stable now.

478  Economy / Economics / Re: Where do you spend your money from Bitcoin? on: December 13, 2017, 05:37:18 PM
I was spending bitcoins like it's nothing. Everything starts on April 2017 , I got cryptopay card and I wanna try how it's work so I send 0.5 BTC just for trying. When I got approved on gas station I was so happy. After that I funding my card weekly. I was filling my and brother cars , I go shopping for new clothes , pay my phone bills ... Thanks God I didn't spend it all ,because then bitcoin price was 1100$ and now it's 16 000$ so that was pretty bad move from me. But who knows that price will rise that much . Undecided

This days I'm just watching my bitcoins and waiting bigger price so I can sell it for cash.
479  Economy / Economics / Re: Best tip on saving money on: December 13, 2017, 05:06:18 PM
I'm saving till I was a little kid, because my parent's teach me about finances. I know that for someone are little hard to put some money into saving account when they got salary, but for me it is habit. I put around
80% salary on bank saving account.
480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction cost is too high on: December 13, 2017, 03:30:12 PM
I agree that transaction fees is really high now, but I hate more how long it's need to complete transaction. This days there are many new people starting with bitcoins so there are transaction volume little higher then usual. I hope it will be solved with new lightening network that they tested last days.
