461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you donate Bitcoin for the poor and needy? on: January 07, 2018, 10:53:20 PM
The point is to keep a bitcoin separately for donation to the poor. Donating a bitcoin directly will make sense if the receiver is aware of the functioning of bitcoin and Cryptocurrency. A poor and / or needy man can be sometimes an educated man or a knowledgeable man who is struggling to meet his ends. Bitcoin can otherwise be encashed and given to the poor.

It is always better to think big. I would rather create a trust or try to invest in healthcare or education of a poor child. All quick helps will not last long. Educating one child by spending a $25000 or more will reap great benefits to the society in comparison with feeding a whole lot of people once with the same money. Though it is not bad to feed but it is better to invest in a system that more than once continually feeds.

Yes I will donate Bitcoin to the poor and needy the way I feel is best useful for them. One percentage of the income can always be set aside for donation. After all, life is short and it is best to help as much as we can.
I am quite against the idea of donating except if its on healthcare or education of someone. Donating makes people a bit more lazy they begin to think that things are decided by fortune and tend to lose their habit of doing work. I would rather like to spend on someone's school fees which would ultimately make the person in need more affluent intellectually and will help him in future.

Totally agree...Donation encourages laziness and willful unemployment. Donate to those who are doing efforts but could not make enough to meet two life ends or the disable(physically challenged) persons as they are helpless. Helping such people motivate them to make more efforts and develop a light of hope in them to have a better lifestyle in future.
HELP THOSE WHO ARE HELPING THEMSELVES.
462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins under $1 to HODL till December 2018. on: January 07, 2018, 10:38:59 PM
Since more and more people are getting to know about cryptocurrencies, i can't wait to se what will happen in the crypto markets in 2018. I want to talk about coins to hold through out 2018, till December ending. I am not into pump and damp coins.

Below is my list. Tell me which coins under $1 you will hold till the end of 2018. For me personally, I think investing $1000 each into these coins will bring a good ROI. I will want to check this thread next year by this time, so i will include there current prices, just to compare by the end of 2018.

Of course i am not an investment adviser. Full disclosure I hold these coins for a long term.

Cardano (Ada): currently at $0.4
Burst: currently at $0.063
Digibyte: currently at $0.065
Dogecoin: currently at $0.008
Bytecoin: currently at $0.063
Siacoin: currently at $0.028

I think you got a potential portfolio to have best ROI in upcoming months. All these coins are well-known and highly acceptable in crypto-market.
Cardano, Siacoins has already performed outstandingly in last few days, now I believe it time for dogecoin to touch the moon. You can also add KUcoin, monero and verges in your portfolio, they also got a great potential to grow in upcoming months
463  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Road to 0.1 btc on: January 07, 2018, 10:11:11 PM
this is my new project this 2018
i got 0.004 btc and i just injected it to a trading site
so here's my strategy please help me decide Smiley
1. invest it in 1 altcoin (short term/long term)
2. putting  your eggs in different baskets
which means i will divide my 0.004 and buy at least 3 alt coin (short term/long term)

what do you think?

Seems to be a good strategy for trading by diversifying the investment. But crypto-market is quite different and unpredictable as compared to the traditional stock market.
I suggest you to:
1. Always apply stop loss to every trade.
2. Exit the trade by booking reasonable profit, don't be greedy
3. Keep a keen eye on BTC price as its price affect your trade a lot, no matters how much your holding coin gaining in USDT. If its growth rate is less than BTC then you are in Loss in crypto-market.
4. If BTC price is too volatile, then try to be spectator and buy USDT.
5. Emotional control and patience is the key to success in crypto-market.

I hope it will help you to gain high profits in future. Wish you all the best.
464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the worst ICO of 2017? on: January 07, 2018, 09:59:33 PM
There are a lot of Shit ICO's featured in the year 2017. Many of them came out to fraud/scam. But ETHbooks was the worst out of all those. That ICO seems to be a totally legit project and with everything(concept, website, whitepaper, team etc) seems to be good enough to invest but in end, they fooled thousand of investors including me and got vanished after looting all the money.

466  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Are bitcoins an e-currency? on: January 06, 2018, 10:39:22 PM
E-currency is not the right way to describe Bitcoin. As existing E-currency in FIAT is issued by Government and Bitcoin being decentralized should better be known as virtual currency or transferable smart contract. Moreover, BTC is now taken as investment tool so people even start calling it a Digital asset.
467  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Best County for Crypto Startups? on: January 06, 2018, 10:35:38 PM
I think for Asia is the best country for crypto startups. Like Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand. I think this big opportunity for introduce and give them knowledge about crypto world. So they learn step by step and do invest in crypto. I sure they will happy invest in crypto, because the profit more than gold.

Asia is the most unsuitable country for crypto-related startups. Countries like Indonesia, Bangladesh, Nepal declared Bitcoin and crypto's illegal, even Thailand and Singapore also not seem to be much positive on Bitcoin usage.
Japan or European country like UK is best for crypto-startup. Japan recognize BTC as legal tender and support crypto market. Even awareness about crypto is also quite more in these in countries than Asian countries.
468  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do big corporations accept BTC? on: January 06, 2018, 10:32:34 PM
I think it is because of 2 reasons:
1. Because of its feature like anonymous yet transparent.
2. Its value increases and hence their money is growing without much efforts. It proves to be a digital asset for them.
469  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen to the banks if people uses cryptocurrencies more than fiat? on: January 06, 2018, 10:28:38 PM
First of all, Banks try to attract new customers towards them by offering them some amazing offers, but if it does not work then Banks will cut down their expenses by closing some branches and firing some employees, shut down some branches So that they could remain in profit.
470  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Lightning Network VS SegWit2Mb(S2X) on: January 06, 2018, 10:22:50 PM
It seems for me that lightning network makes bitcoin more centralized. I do not like this. How do you think?
You are absolutely wrong on the contrary I think it might give it some room to be decentralized again by actually snatching off the power to hike fees from the hands of miners. Moreover its still ambiguous that how much it will reduce fees as to what extent it will affect the network so we can't really comment upon its nature.

Totally agree with Lightning network again transfer power to users from the miners.
471  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: why not new signature campaign ?? on: January 06, 2018, 10:18:25 PM
Investors now become quite aware and stop investing in scam coins, therefore, there are no more scam campaign only genuine campaign get listed on forum which are less in no.
472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how can we make gambling as an accepted recreational activity like sports game? on: January 06, 2018, 10:11:57 PM
I don't think gambling will ever be accepted normal sports activity ever. As in any sport(indoor or outdoor) have some benefit with it whether at physical or mental level. But gambling does not have any benefits like it but it makes a person addicted to it, lazy and sometimes anxious also.
So I don't think gambling can be compared to any sports or a recreational activity because of its harmful side-effects on a social and personal life of a person.
473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH reach BTC value ? on: January 06, 2018, 10:10:38 PM
Surely...BTC dominance is dropped to 36% that means other altcoins are gaining popularity now a days. ETH being the second most popular and trustworthy coin in crypto-market, also most of the exchanges do have ETH as an exchange pair and also Transaction fees is very low as compare to BTC with short confirmation time. So obviously people will shift to ETH after BTC in future.
474  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Bitcoin Experience More Price Volatility in 2018? on: January 05, 2018, 09:53:47 PM
Definitely BTC will be more volatile in 2018 as more people are jumping in it but on the other hand, central authorities are planning to regulate it. All these factors are going to affect BTC as well as other cryptocurrency in one way or another.
475  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: January 05, 2018, 09:38:30 PM
Never. BTC got popular among layman because of its growth rate. If its price is stable people will not take it seriously. Even now also most of the BTC users think BTC as an investment tool, not as an alternative transaction mode.
476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and anonymity on: January 05, 2018, 09:35:44 PM
I personally like Bitcoin coz it is anonymous and provides you financial privacy and liberty. Decentralised wallet does not require any of your personal info. The best part is Bitcoin is anonymous yet transparent with all its transaction. Youcan find all past, current and pending Txn on bitcoin blockchain, you can check it on blockchain.info
477  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will hit 20.000$ ? what do you think guys ? on: January 05, 2018, 09:34:21 PM
Surely BTC will again hit $20k mark within 1 week. But Market dominance of BTC is reduced to just 37% which is not a great sign for its growth, it means people around all the world has gained a token of trust on altcoins and start shifting from BTC to altcoins. It is all because of crazy transaction fees and long confirmation hours which make people shift to other altcoins.

480  Economy / Economics / Re: New rich people thanks to BTC on: December 31, 2017, 11:30:30 AM
Early Bitcoin users who bought BTC just for Fun are the real millionaires today. Even they were also not aware of such a huge profit from it in upcoming years. They might be quite happy and living their life comfortably without doing much effort in life to earn money. For them BTC is like a lottery which make them super Rich overnight.
