461  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you really need in your trading? on: November 13, 2020, 10:15:26 AM
All I need is capital and knowledge.

Knowledge is important though because all the experience and strategies I knew and will know will be very important as I go by. It is hard being an amateur and doing it all on your own but that is where the capital is important, you could just learn from the mistakes you've made and stand again stronger and better than you are previously. Losses happen, it just depends on how you handle it and how you go from there.
462  Economy / Economics / Re: Effective Covid-19 vaccine found on: November 13, 2020, 09:56:00 AM
That is just great.

Their product just skyrocketed after that, proves that it is promising and would start the end of the worst year, which is this year. I don't think that Bitcoin will be affected by this demand, all we know is that the price is sticking to $15K and it might stick in there or be that way before the year ended, hope it lasts until next year.
Damn price 15k usd?where on earth that each government will get that amount just to Help their people increase the recovered and then partially killed the virus?

This is too expensive i think and maybe there will be a price adjustment depend on volume that will be purchased.

I am sorry about that.

That is just a mistake. I am about to say that it might increase at about $5K and not $15K which is absurd since that is much as cost lower than the current value of 1 Bitcoin.
463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Indian boy committed suicide after losing money by Betting in IPL on: November 13, 2020, 08:12:39 AM
Even if i never knew this Indian boy my heart aches for his family and friends who are hurting because of his choice to take his own life.  To commit suicide is never the right thing to do and its so sad that nobody was able to help him.

The sad thing is that the generation of younger age now is so fragile.

They are spoiled by us the previous generation because of how we are treated in the past and we want that to change, we never want that to happen to our children because we know how it hurts. Now, they are kind of romanticizing this kind of way to end their life instead of facing that weakness or mistakes head on that would make them stronger. It could also help other people of their age as they can be the model for them. Committing suicide is not a good thing.
464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is an entertainment? on: November 13, 2020, 04:34:05 AM
Most of the people states that gambling is form of entertainment but the reality is different gambling is like business where people look to make more money from investing little money but most of them will get failed.

So in your view gambling is business or entertainment, answer honestly. Cheesy
Honestly, gambling is an entertainment for me because when I get triggered I maybe lost my money soon. So I just enjoy it when I have some free time. Gambling helps me to pass some quality time with entertainment. I am not a regular person on gambling so that I am an expert one. But I try to win and enjoy it.

We all do the same.

We look at gambling as a way to pass time, as a way to make money but majorly for the fun part of it. I hope we will nott be blinded by the money that we are earning or winning still, we are having fun and we are wary and concious on what and how much we are betting. Gambling is purely for entertainment purposes, not mainly for people to earn money.
465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How long until we can bet with bitcoin in real life casinos? on: November 13, 2020, 03:35:32 AM
It might be close, you never know right?

Since Paypal accepted Bitcoin, I think there are a lot of stores or platforms that are influenced or thinking of accepting it. Casinos might be included at that since physical cash is quite concerning this time of pandemic. I think 2 or 3 years, there will be a lot of landbased casinos accepting cryptocurrencies, the same with other platforms.
466  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to $100k in 2021 on: November 13, 2020, 02:28:55 AM
Maybe 2 or 4 more years.

It is true that the price is having a great movement this last quarter of the year but that doesn't mean it would continue to increase at the same pace for the next few years. It would go up, it would go down, it would go up, there will be a correction, and so on. We don't know what will also happen in the future that might affect the price.

Maraming pang pwedeng gawin ang mga scammer na ito na strategies to get in our heads kaya dapat updated tayo at may source tayo ng informations about these scams and scammers.
468  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will be dumping soon - What do you say regarding the chart? on: November 12, 2020, 10:34:58 AM
It can go up, it can go down, we don't know.

If a correction would happen, I think it should've done by now, right? Or maybe it is still not happening and it would go down in the next few days. But if that is the case, I think people would just take it as an advantage to reinvest or buy again so the reaction of the market is going up again that might reach another ATH next year? Hopefully.

470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use bitcoin? on: November 12, 2020, 06:31:11 AM
This should be regarded a critical question. I know of many countries that are yet to know about the existence of bitcoin. In such countries I believe campaigns should be considered a brilliant idea to draw to the citizens and residence the value of bitcoin and what it stands for as well has its global value

I don't think so, people all over the world with adequate internet access already know cryptocurrency.

It's just that local government regulations that tend to "not fully accept the existence of bitcoin" sometimes make newcomers skeptical. In addition, there is a high level of online scam cases that are often associated with bitcoin. Of course it discourages beginners from learning more. I still find people who think like that around me.

Here in our country, I guess most of them don't use bitcoin for two reasons.

The first one is that there is a lot of news about Bitcoin that is related to scamming investors or people out of their millions and thousands of money. They are afraid that they would be the next victim so they don't bother to know if that is true or not. The second one is that they are not that rich to invest and stopped trying after some time.
471  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: My Plan if ever happens again ATH on: November 12, 2020, 04:28:18 AM
Continue what Im doing, I guess.

Ngayong pandemic and this last quarter kung saan parang family reunion ng mga bagyo, kelangang-kelangan talaga ng extra income and wala akong choice kundi ang gamitin ang porsyento ng kinikita ko sa signature campaign. Wala din akong magawa so even if magcontinue ang pagakyat ng presyo, I will continue using some percentage of it.
472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is an entertainment? on: November 12, 2020, 04:22:23 AM
When we can use gambling as entertainment, we don't need to worry if we will lose control because everything that we got, in the end, will be just to entertain and have fun. We don't think about the result because we don't search for that, and we only want to spend our time playing many gambling games. Maybe by thinking like that, we can prevent becoming addicting to gambling, and we can avoid consuming more money because if we think that it is enough to get entertainment, we will stop as soon as possible.

But if you think you think like that, it might be the start of it.

Most of the gamblers that are addicted to gambling might've just started thinking like that. They are just thinking that gambling is just entertainment and they are thinking they can control themselves. Then as time goes, it became a habit and as time continues they are not aware they are already addicted to it and can't actually get out of that "entertainment".
473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers forced into unpaid leave on: November 12, 2020, 03:17:52 AM
Not only casinos do this to their employees, but many other large companies do the same. Casino is forced to do this because income
has decreased, so the budget to pay the salaries of its workers is not there. We also can't blame the casino for this, the best solution for
casinos workers looking for other jobs or they can also try to open a business with small capital. We humans are created with brains,
so use our brains to think creatively, looking for opportunities to make money. I believe every human being has the ability to survive in
any condition.

All of us are affected by this pandemic.

The worst is that despite the world being unfair right now, that we are seeing these people having a hard time dealing with their jobs, we can't actually help them but just sit where we are talking about how unfair or normal that is. We may invite them to invest in cryptocurrencies but I doubt that most of them would just nod and agree to that. What they needed is a stable source of income, we can't just tell them that bitcoin and cryptocurrencies would solve their problems.
474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did anyone try to "gamble" with ponzi scheme crypto scam services? on: November 12, 2020, 01:07:02 AM
I am not clicking those ads I've been seeing in the past.

Most of these unknown casinos spam a lot of sites as ads so they would click on them or find a new victim. That is why it is better for us gamblers to just stick to the gambling site that we are using or always visiting. It is true that there are a lot of irresistable sites or promos but with the years that we are in the site that we are particular with, we are safe.
475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe NBA is rigged? on: November 12, 2020, 12:42:08 AM
Nothing's gonna change with those opinions but nevertheless, nba will stay with positive or negative opinion.

No big sports league that has not received any negative opinion from the people, we have millions or billions of watchers and some of that has a kind of different mind, trying to spot the abnormalities of the game and make a conspiracy theory, it will never grow old my friend, in the next generation we will still see a lot of content about rigged games but the league will still continue.

And in that future, I am seeing esports being one of the most popular.

I doubt that people would just not be talking about rigged games or fixed games, as you've said, it will continue since we still have those fans or supporters that is salty about other teams' win. As I've said, we can't actually say that NBA is 100% clean, all we know is that we are having fun watching and betting on them and we are also curious about the league being rigged.
476  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading losses on: November 11, 2020, 11:25:05 AM
Trading losses are very reasonable when trading, it is part of the job, even though you are an expert,
trading losses will always be with us, lose and win are options for us, if you want not to experience big losses,
then you have to be smart about management your money.

Losses are part of investing and trading.

There is no way that you can avoid or not experience loss, as I said, it is a part of it. Professional investors and traders that know what they are doing also experience losses since they can't actually control or manipulate the market, what they can do is to lessen the losses if they can predict what will happen or if it is starting to happen.
477  Economy / Economics / Re: Biden and Cryoto on: November 11, 2020, 09:21:01 AM
Why are we having these questions?

I don't think that the US has that much Bitcoin that could affect the current market that we have so even if Trump or Biden won, it will never be that positive or negative to affect the market. It would stay the same, the price is having great movements maybe because of the fact that there are some companies holding Bitcoin right now.
478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you received a call/text recently from a friend/fam asking about Bitcoin? on: November 11, 2020, 07:53:07 AM
I think I did.

It is not recent but most of those texts, I did not reply to except if it is a call where I can explain it easily. If it is a text, I usually tell them to call, or if they have something to do we can just meet later or he can call me. It is quite hard to explain from a text that is why I prefer telling them through calls or directly when we can talk.
479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use bitcoin? on: November 08, 2020, 09:59:19 AM
The normal way, I guess?

I do some trades and after selling I send them in my wallet although Bitcoin is legal in our country, we can just use it through the use of our local exchange coins.ph or others mobile wallets. Some are actually curious where are we getting our Bitcoins or why are getting money in remittances through that mobile wallets, usually, I just tell them that I have limited options and coins is the best one so far.
480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe NBA is rigged? on: November 08, 2020, 09:41:26 AM
Even how good the management the league have, there are always people who will do and offer
this kind of illegal business, money dictates and if it's really huge it's hard to resist.

We never know, right?

I am not doubting the reputation NBA had but I doubt that they are 100% clean when it comes to contexts like these. It might be players, referees, owners or managers, or other people that could influence someone, and as he said, if money dictates and if it is really that huge or maybe threaten, I don't think people would be able to resist and just put down their reputation.
