Have seen some people mention -eqlim 288 or something like that.. what does that do?
462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: Best Baikal Pool and setup to maximize profits !! on: May 03, 2017, 04:10:58 PM
I mine MonetaryUnit (MUE) at https://pool.weminemue.com/ with my baikal miners (quark algo)

Calculator has shown it to be a bit more profitable than dash mining recently.

Before I mined MUE  I mined dash at suprnova.. although I have heard good things about coinmine.pl
463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: WattTool : WattMan - DownVolt on: May 03, 2017, 02:30:06 PM

I tried to downvolt my nitro+oc 480 4g without success:

The main problem that i discovered with gpu-z it is card use max value between gpu and memory volt.
As you know you can't go lower then 960 (1000 default) mvolt on memory or not working good, instead cpu can be down 920 (1000 default) without issue.
Then if you setup on bios then flash, or use wattTool / wattMan with 920 mvolt for gpu and leave default 1000 mvolt for memory. On gpu-z when claymore work will show 1000 mvolt, if you try to use -cddri 920 will be the same if you use also -mddri 960 you will see 960 mvolt on gpu-z, i would like to go on 920 cause i'll save +10watt for each card.

I think my cards use same voltage regulator for both or i dont' have idea cause i have 8 cards and all have this issue.
Somebody have same issue with other cards? or it is normal for this card? cause i see people with 470 can edit them

Less that 960mv memory works fine on most if not all my cards
464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AMD Rebrand - RX570 / RX580 - Official Thread on: May 03, 2017, 02:23:53 PM

Sapphire 570 4GB Mini Elpida - strap 1750 - 1110/2040/-96mvgpu/30+target = 26,3-26,4 @ 164w on the wall = 169 USD newegg very nice

Your doing something wrong, I have this card at 29.5 MH @ 130 watts. Definitely the best bang for buck for the current 500 series line.

Ok I lied, thats not the best card...check out this one I just got in (GPU1 in Claymore)...100 watts at the wall on a -275mv offset!!! Cheesy

I guess these really do have way better silicon.

is video card is that? (the one at ~.77v) have you tried dual mining at that voltage? And will you check the ASIC value of that gpu1 in gpuz?

Phil  are you team kilo17  or team bittawm?

I am doing  a purely mathematical comparison of the two deals from the two of them against  buying and building a zec ming farm with 1080ti's.

I know both guys fairly well and have like both of them. So I won't pass judgement on whether on person is better then the other.

But I can crunch the numbers  and see if spending 6k  to build a zec farm  works better then either deal.

I will present this in a separate thread. Later today.

Interested in both the groupbuy (thoughts, etc). Not sure which of the two I will go with atm. I'm also interested in the zec farm info. I have amd gpu rigs and have been considering doing a 3-7gpu nvidia rig but i know much less about the nvidia gpus (how much each costs, power consumption, zec hashrate, and zec hash per power consumption)
466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: iBelink DM11G - Group Buy - $5700 on: May 02, 2017, 10:57:43 PM
Just so everyone is aware, i've been monitoring the miner at the pool and the hashrate has dropped today to 7.2-7.5 ghs, its been like this for the last 3-4 hours.
Right now its currently hashrate is @ 7.31 GH/s, something to watch for! Roll Eyes

1 of the 4 boards died/turned off maybe? Does look odd. At least we know iBeLink made a similar, yet slower miner last year so that makes it a bit less likely that this one is iffy
467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: iBelink DM11G - Group Buy - $5700 on: May 02, 2017, 10:33:24 PM
I am interested in 1!

I already said I am in for 1 and am sticking with that. But what is the timeline for this preorder?

EDIT: Oh first post says Wednesday! 5/3
469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: May 02, 2017, 06:44:12 PM
Anyone understand this part of the contract dealing with hardware redemption?

7.    Customers holding enough MH/s to constitute an entire machine of the associated type (e.g., 4860 MH/s of Antminer L3+) are eligible to convert that amount of MH/s into the used unit of the associated type. If a user does not have enough GH/s of the associated kind to exchange for actual hardware, then this user is not eligible for hardware redemption.

4860mhs what?
470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: May 02, 2017, 06:27:27 PM

I checked but is there an issue with getting these?

I tried and it didn't seem to work. Did anyone get it working signing up for a l3+ on hashnest? seems like a decent deal

Well the stock has dropped to 1,525 so somebody has been buying them  Wink

You're right.. even less than that now. Oh and I got the site working
471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: May 02, 2017, 04:56:54 PM
Can someone help me see the logic of using Hashnest? it doesn't seem like its 12 or 6months.. but it looks like it said the contract ends when the principal has been paid back in full to the buyer.. so if you sign up for the L3+ or whatever.. you stop getting value back once you get back what you paid for.. 0 net gain.. What am I missing?

Those are the pacmic contracts that work that way.

Buying machines via hashnest, is just like buying them direct and having them shipped to a hosting facility. They continue to run until Maintenance Fee > Income (and to be fair bitmains fees are reasonable), whilst there may be some newer miners coming the huge gains in efficiency have already occurred so they should be profitable for a long time to come.

The benefit is for people like me who live in countries with 20% import duties and very high electric, yes there are downsides like you can't point them to mine elsewhere, and you don't get the fees in the block rewards being the main 2, but then there are other positives like the ability to buy/sell all or part of your hashrate.

So it will depend on your own circumstances if it's a good idea

Agreed, but exactly who is the manufacturer? I cannot find any references to this miner anywhere else other than the Russian site, and im sure he's a re-seller (VAR) at best.
Goes back to my question about where is the OEM web site and contact info?
I don't want to deal with the VAR if I can avoid it.

I agree I couldn't find an ibelink website.. Bittawm said he was in contact with the manufacturer so maybe he will share contact info or at least shed light on this facet?
473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RX580 Benchmarking and Results: 29.3Mh/s @ 77.5W (Sapphire Nitro+ LE) on: May 02, 2017, 01:41:36 PM
What are  the dual mine speeds? (stock and modded). All topics only mention ETH mining..

I've been continuing to tweak and also optimizing for dual mining.

So far:

Eth: 30.5 Mh/s
Dcr: 1130 MH/s
VDDC: 0.877
Core: 1300
Mem: 2100
Mem voltage: 0.9
Strap: Custom mix
Mem Errors: 0/min
Power: 125W

NOTE: If you don't undervolt/limit power, it easily dual mines 30.5 MH/s + 1450 MH/s Dcr

Can you post the custom timings string? These of course are the same chips as before some optimum strings have already been found, but I like this one due to only needing 2100 MHz Smiley Very nice target to get 30.5 MHs

Can use 0150E2A3186272E16">http://doreymills.ca/cgi-bin/strapmod?555000000000000022CC1C00AD515A3EC0570E142D4A64080049C700030114207A8900A00300000 0150E2A3186272E16

just plug in your own 1500, 1625, or 1750

On that doreymills page there is no readme info guide how to exactly use it Sad
Useless

It may not be designed for newbs. I didn't design it but I find it easy and very useful. Like I said earlier you plug (copy) the strap you wanna mod into the tool (overwrite the default strap in the URL) and use the modded strap (the bottom of the 2 on the output page)

I am no newbie. I do always thinks after study documentation, to know exactly what am I doing and why. You did not write and no one told exactly what that tool/site really does under the hood. "Copy straps", which exactly, what is the reason? What does this tool change?
I am sad that there is so much people who just simply don't really want to help. They just wanna show how big kings they are and inside they glad their rigs are running better then others.

If you want help you are welcome to PM me

I find it odd that no one has pointed yet to the mfg website. All I have seen is a Russian language video.
Is there anything else to go on here?

This new video (as of may 1st 2017) of the ibelink miner is partly english: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A4PJTFU4YRw

I'm in for 1 unit

478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: The Vega benchmark has it barely beating a 1070, here's why that's good. on: May 01, 2017, 11:10:26 PM
Then what is the best bang for buck card for a rig? / Do you guys feel the 570 is worth it over the 470?

I'd go with whatever is cheapest since the hashrate is basically identical when tweaked to optimum and so is the power consumption (although i have heard some people getting the power consumption a few % lower on the 500 series)
479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: iBelink DM11G - 10800mhs x11 miner - sold out on: May 01, 2017, 05:24:15 PM
