WOW! Since you're kinda a guru, I'm trying to get a p2pool running on mine as well and so far not having much luck so far. First port question. rpcport=22555 and port =9555 in dogecoin.conf? Do NOT set port 9555 for dogecoin. Two applications cant use same port. Choose something else ;] By default dogecoin uses P2P_PORT=22556, RPC_PORT=22555, You can change it in config, or leave it as is. Got it. Now to get Python playing nice and I should be good to go. |

About my P2pool node http://rav3n.dtdns.net:9555 - looks like there is too many workers on my node and it is chocking my bandwidth  It is on my home pc and 2Mbit DSL but looks like it is not enough to handle such traffic on scrypt currency When ZET was arrived I have over 100GH hashing power pointed to me and it was fine. Looks like scrypt is more demanding. Sorry! such shame very unpleasant Try use another nodes, especially small miners where any % loss is not acceptable Another P2pool nodes: http://pool.hostv.pl:9555http://altpool.pw:19348http://37.187.90.15:9555Use same user name/address u have used on my node - it will continue your payout. It was, who knows. There's others listed here, try till you get one that works. If it goes down, switch to a different one. That was posted this morning when some of the other pools had issues. |

Started mining back at pool.hostv.pl and it's working now. I was just trying to find out what happened and rav3n_pl explained it perfect. I know how sites can act up when they first go online. I have 5 websites and went through the same thing. Address is showing up now so no big deal. The problem this morning was the miner didn't run long enough before there was public access issues to get the shares credited. Works fine now though and DOGE have started rolling in. Thaks. |

DOGE P2pool payout logic: share is valid for 12hrs but up to 10 blocks. Pool share every 15 sec, pool share diff adjusted on last 20 shares (5 minutes). When you stop mining, you will get payout up to 10 next blocks we will found (depends how "old" your last share will be). Because DOGE block reward is random, u will get random reward using very same power wow You can use any node connected using same address/user name - it will add between nodes. What kh/s you have ? maybe you set something wrong ? it's address is exactly http://pool.hostv.pl:9555/ ?? someone here post address to my p2pool witch addres " http://pool.hostv.pl:9555/static/" and it's wrong... must be witchout "/static/" I've been mining for almost a year and .bat file is right, it used http://pool.hostv.pl:9555. Originally it showed my address in the payout screen. This is the first time I've had to get back and check things. I've had my miner pointed elsewhere while I was gone today. Ditto. I tried both P2Pool servers(which are run by the same person it appears) and neither one has paid anything. Lost almost 100K on pool.hostv.pl after their crash today. Testserverino is great. Heavy load earlier and never a slowdown once. |

Depends what your hasrate is. If it is low then the refresh time on the site may not be picking up your hashes when the dashboard refreshes. If you are getting "Accepted a11714bb Diff 197/64 GPU 0" something like this for cgminer, then shares are being accepted and you will be paid. I had the same thing happen yesterday when I was playing around with some CPU mining at 10Khs. Edit: Just saw your screen shot and the Khs rate is why. |

My gpu is geforce 8800gt thank you but strangely I get only 1.2 kh/s Try this: cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool.testserverino.de:3333 -u digitalt.1 -p x --worksize 128 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 4 -g 1 --intensity
10 --no-submit-stale About the best you can expect from the 8800 is around 12Khs. With the settings above, play with them a bit for best results. There is a Readme.txt in the CGminer folder as well as a Scryptreadme.txt too. Check them out for an explanation about the above settings. |

I have downloaded cgminer 3.7.2 (also tried 3.5, still the same problem) I have extracted it to the desktop in a folder I have created an account on http://pool.testserverino.de/, I have created a worker and gave him a password, also I have added my Doge wallet Then I'm creating startmining.bat file with the following text cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool.testserverino.de:3333 -u mywebsitelogin.myworkerlogin -p workerpassword I save it to the cgminer folder, and now when I'm launching this startmining.dat file, nothing happens, it simply says "cgminer started" and that is it. What hardware are you trying to use for mining? Also, it can take a minute for cgminer to actually do anything. Ditto, it depends how fast your GPU is. What is your video card and maybe we can help with some settings to get you going. CGMiner has default auto tune settings it uses that most time don't give you the most you can get from your card. |
