If your account was locked at our pool, then just contact me. Im here all day for support, usually.

Mike

I was able to mine Dogecoins using nvidia geforce 8800gt at 12 KH/S using this tutorial
http://www.reddit.com/r/dogecoin/comments/1sj337/how_to_mine_dogecoin_with_a_nvidia_gpu/
but I forgot my password and my account got locked there, and I can not not access my 200 coins I was able to mine
Now even If i try to close the .bat file, a window pops up saying that the program stopped responding

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

how does this happen
what does it mean
I thought the whole point in CC's was that this could not happen?

It actually started something, but I had to wait about 3 minutes, thank you very much for your help everyone.
now it says that "stratum from pool 0 detected new block" so looks like it's working now, right?

You REALLY not understand the point of P2pool... shame on you.
My node is under some attack, getting 5000+ connections every few seconds...
Try use:
37.187.90.15:9555
188.165.19.28:9555

You got it, it's working now.  Still post what video card you have because with some tweaking you can get more hashes.  Here's my .bat file for an AT 7850

Quote
cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool.testserverino.de:3333 -u xxxx -p xxxx  --worksize 256 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 8192 -g 2 --intensity

12 --no-submit-stale

Without the added settings my rate is about 55% of what I get now.

Have you ever seen a bitcoin address that didn't start with 1? Same thing applies here accept Dogecoin starts with D. Now what does the address I linked start with?

Do NOT "--no-submit-stale" when mining on P2pool!
USE "-Q 0" when mine on P2pool.
Typical batch file to mine on 7970:
Code:
@Echo Off
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
start /high "Mining DOGE" cgminer --scrypt --auto-gpu --gpu-engine 1040 --gpu-memclock 1500 -g 2 -Q 0 --thread-concurrency 8192 -I 13 -o rav3n.dtdns.net:9555 -u d00geAddress -p nn -o 37.187.90.15:9555 -u d00geAddress -p nn -o 188.165.19.28:9555 -u d00geAddress -p nn
This will run mining on P2pool on my node and add 2 backups when mine will fail.

Try this:

Quote
cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool.testserverino.de:3333 -u digitalt.1 -p x  --worksize 128 --lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 4 -g 1 --intensity

10 --no-submit-stale

About the best you can expect from the 8800 is around 12Khs.  With the settings above, play with them a bit for best results.  There is a Readme.txt in the CGminer folder as well as a Scryptreadme.txt too.  Check them out for an explanation about the above settings.

I have low understanding as well. I used your pool but reward dropped dramatically and I got ~25% rejects what made me switch to another pool.
So...why 25%? Or is this normal and cannot be reduced on a p2pool?
Were the rewards dropping because of ddos?

many questions. such a pool.

I'm looking to buy 20M doge for 1 BTC.

EDIT: I see prices are a bit in flux. I'm willing to be a bit flexible on the # of DOGE, if need be.

I'm available for the next few hours, and have funds ready.

Shoot me a PM if you're interested and able to fill this order. Thanks!
