I'm happy to hear this decision as running any kind of ICO at the moment is risky. Considering the recent parity multisig hack and coindash website hack, the ICO scene needs to settle down a bit before people can trust again.

I would rather look at the specifics. Do hotels in Switzerland accept bitcoin as payment? Do their stores, malls, markets, schools, restaurants, and so on accept bitcoin in their transactions? Because even if the government accepts bitcoin as a legal payment system, if there are so few establishments that accept bitcoin then that might not count as really a cryptocurrency haven.

Just look at the very high fees. That is already unreasonable. And sometimes more than 24-hour confirmation, that is another big disadvantage of using bitcoin. And sometimes it really is hard to buy the things you want when the shop, online or actual physical one, do not accept bitcoin as a form of payment.

But now that 1 bitcoin is already $2500, we might be waiting for a very long time for us to get rich. But the value is still growing fast, although not as fast as before of course.

Maybe if people do not know bitcoin, or just know it, I think gold better. But in my opinion, bitcoin is better than gold. Probably because of the increased money I can get very much in a short amount of time.
Yes I agree, the thing that makes bitcoin better than gold is the profit level, if we bought gold a year ago and we sale now we will get profit not more than 5%, but if a year ago we bought bitcoin and we sell know then we will get profit more than 400%. Talking about profit, yes bitcoin is indeed much much better. A couple of years holding bitcoin is already a great deal. If we bought gold half a decade ago, the price increase won't matter that much today. But it surely did not dip either. |
