With respect, I think you're confused. There's no risk in losing this savings that earns the 4% interest AND if you do want to gamble what other gambling site is paying you when you're not placing bets?! You're getting 4% because there is no risk. If you were risking your BTC you'd have the opportunity to earn more, you'd also have the opportunity to lose it all.
It's an obvious choice for me, what about for you? Freebitcoin added a savings feature recently... 4.08% per year, but compounding interest daily. I'd give it a low-mid risk, site's around for years and the owner probably is loaded on btc anyways. Its better to risk the bitcoin on something different like a gambling site or altcoin investment. Risking losing ot for 4% is a bad idea. |

Tough 4% just gives the vibe that they are not after scamming people, 4% is a doable and believable investment return to actually be realistic.
This is the only realistic place I can get interest %4 is as good as I can hope for. Yeah there are places who offer you %100 monthly or like %10000 daily or whatever, but do you really trust those places? I believe this is only good if you have spare bitcoins you don’t know what to do at the moment. Otherwise 4% yearly is lower than most banks.
If I am investing in bitcoin I would expect a lot more than 4% a year, I mean it is even riskier considering we don’t know if it will be hacked or not, I mean “hacked” or not. I would rather just exchange it to USD and put it in a bank that gives %10 to %13 where I live.

Hi there, I wanted to know if anyone in the community using freebitco.in has deposited there, to get that daily interest?
At the moment the interest rate is 0.0109589% per day , is this site trustworthy enough to deposit more btc to earn from that interest?
I've been receiving daily payments at the advertised rate for almost a month now. I've also been getting commissions off the interest my referrals are earning (these numbers show up in the Refer menu and are included in all other referral commissions). How there is no easy way to run a provably fair lottery these days maybe the smart contracts can solve that but I was hoping for a more simple solution Sy, the comment quoted below from wetsuit still applies - if you find or have ideas on a better system, let us know! AFAIK, there is no way to implement a provably fair lottery where there is a variable number of tickets sold. If anybody can come up with a system for doing so, I would be happy to implement it like I have mentioned before quite a few times. And I would offer a generous bonus for the person doing so as well.
