Even if two individual decide to code identical projects, both will not finish at the same time, neither is it guaranteed that the individual that finish first will have the better platform. As for the deadline, we in the crypto space where ppl start screaming scam if they don't hear from the dev in a week. So it's important to give them dates, been able to honor those dates is dependent on their ability to address every bug detected. Again, no scammer will go to the trouble of creating a platform and release it for testing, they will probably take your money and leave a PENIS sign on their webpage. Yes, the whole problem is not that, working or not working team. they have good code or a lot of bugs and they need to fix it. the problem is, the coin's been locked up for a year. during this time, many coins are already traded, and build their projects in parallel. who prevented this project to release a coin on the exchange in trade, and then at creation of the ecosystem to make an exchange of one coins for others through newly created purse. now in addition to the records in the database and on the site, no one what is not and not sell, exchange or anything is not possible. SMFH at this comments. If you invested in this company then you invested on the platform. The coin is irrelevant, the platform is what really matters. Do you even understand whats going on? Why would they release the coin before the platform is ready? that would essentially be akin to placing the buggy before the horse. I think most of you have dealt with so many shit coins in the crypto space that you have lost sight of what we aim to accomplish. Could you imagine ethereum releasing some random coin when their platform is incomplete, so the investors could have something to trade. Or Binance releasing BNB and placing it on several exchanges before their platform was complete. The coin is basically useless without the platform. Could you imagine early Tesla investors getting mad that the company didn't release their proprietor battery into the market while they wait on the vehicle to be complete. This guys intend to accomplish something, this is not a shit coin with colorful roadmaps that serve no purpose. |

I came in here with a few basic question.. (which I rarely do) NOT FUDDING, and the first response/attack I get is that I am somehow spreading FUD about CB. Facts is I did have an issue getting to a page to sign up. Fact is there is some confusion about fees and BTS etc. Was just looking for a little quick friendly help. Ya it is...... I'm still scratching my head why its set up like it is. So your saying that if I sell raven etc. on CB, the fees for the trade and the withdraw fee of any BTC will be charged in BTS? If so, then I will need to buy and have on deposit BTS in the exchange wallet solely for fees...  Weird indeed lol (if that's how it works) I have been using cryptobridge since it's inception and i have yet to purchase BTS to facilitate a transactions. Am not sure where you get this info from. I constantly see ppl trying to diss/sabotage this exchange and am not sure why. The intention seem fishy to me. It's always someone complaining that their ticket is less than two days and their is no response, they choose to post it here rather than reach out to the devs on discord. crazy thing is most centralized exchanges take a minimun of one month to respond. Mandica never wanted this, it is JBG's decision. You can say this directly to JBG in Discord. SpectreCoin, remains the same as before, this is Mandica's thread. Jbg has to make a new thread for his new chain. Mandica never wanted this? Then why the hell does Mandica force us to choose a donation of 5%? I have mine set below 5% (something in the middle, rather). XSPEC is currently not very valuable, but it has value. It's tough to devote yourself to full development, but that means you don't have enough people who are doing the developing. It's also hard to make this a full time job. It should really be a resource allocation and it should be based on contributions to developers as they use some of their free time outside of their regular jobs. Alternatively, look at it this way: what if MONERO forced their miners to contribute to a development fund @5%? They'd all run. Tell me that's not true? In any case, this fork could have been avoided. Freedom and privacy is the goal of this fork, and while I do support a development fund (there's a reason I choose to donate a part of my staking reward to the developers), I don't agree with a forced fund. That does, indeed, force centralization. No, thanks. For that reason, glad the fork is coming. I will up my staking contribution by a percent or so when the fork happens. Actually, look at the market = up 50% = everyone benefits  Right now regardless who does development XSPEC moves at glacial pace... Now at least we will have a race between 2 snails... one snail funded by the 5% tax and one snail funded by donations. A similar 2016 vintage anon microcap KRB taxes EVERY TX 0.1% for the Dev Fund... And KRB has done 10x the development this baby has... So you can't be a cheapskate when ICOs are still pulling down $30 million in a few days (look at HAV). I know you a legendary member and all but i call bullshit when i see one. The current up heave in price is temp, due to spec on the possibility of getting wisp for holding xspec. But soon as ppl realize that the only person with any technically ability associated with this coin has left to do his own thing, the the price will come tumbling down. I give it a day or max three days. Like i mentioned in my last post, it's sad that it took what mandica claim to be fud to react. She was just comfortable cruising along and reaping tremendous benefits from doing the least amount of work as possible. !!! IMPORTANT UPDATE !!!Firstly, I would like to apologise for the confusion and lack of communication over the last few days. I unfortunately needed treatment for health issues last year and whilst I was not able to focus on Spectrecoin, the community and @jbg took control and pushed forward and they were able to sustain the project and assemble a strong following. Although, no fault of anyone involved this lack of clear leadership has caused the decision making process and the oversight to be somewhat lacking and at times the progress of the coding and the communication has rested solely on the shoulders of @jbg, @beachguy, @RKh and others. This has lead to unfounded FUD and stress on the team and in particular on @jbg who therefore at times has found it difficult to focus full time on development. I have resolved my health issues and I have been back full time for the last few weeks and I spoken to @jbg and @beachguy and I have seen that the project I started with passion is being attacked and was lacking both steady funding, clear direction and leadership. I passionately believe in the right to privacy and I believe that we can make Spectrecoin a leading privacy focused cryptocurrency. Therefore, after discussions with @jbg, @beachguy and @RKh I have resumed the role of project manager and I am in the process of taking control over the resources that were managed by @jbg in my absence and we have agreed an interim roadmap to get Spectrecoin back on track, secure funding and continue to develop what we believe will become a leading anonymous crypto currency and thereby sticking to our ideals and our original philosophy and create value for our investors and supporters. We will strive for professionalism, accountability and transparency. We will strive to be innovative, consistent and progressive in our approach. This is what we set out to do in the short term pending the release of XSPEC 1.4 1.The new official Spectrecoin core team consists of the following: - @mandica - “project manager”

i think the same too... now it's time! :-) If SEMUX enters the stock market, the price will drop drastically and everyone will know about it and will want to make profits. I am waiting for the stock exchange to buy SEM @2-3k sat. i don't think... there was only 5 milion coin in circulation, and more than 2 are locked on validator.. i think the price could only grow, becouse all investor whant put semux on a pool ad make profit i really happy someone dropped his coin on cheap price ,yeah it's true , i am the investor who want to be validator to earn coins . LOL!! dream on. Thank your lucky stars that this coin is not on an exchange yet. The price is currently shielded by the fact that most ppl are weary of OTC trade or frankly don't know about it. Soon as they provided an avenue to dump those free coins, most of those validators/voters will become gullible to BTC swing in an open market. ( there are several coins in the open market offering similar/alt methods of holding to earn i.e validation, masternode, high pos etc and none is currently immune) It might be different if the price was hovering around 5k not 20k. Even post BTC dump and every other alt in the open market dumping by 60-70%, i think the lowest i saw it dip OTC was to 17k and if you think 20k is not peak price when compared to similar coins with original coding in this current market, then you in for a rude awakening. Go have a look at bismuth or other coins with original codes and see how they fairing in this market. Am not saying the other coin's attributes is similar to semux. However, if this coin is exposed to this volatile market, it's more likely to have a negative effect in price, cos the price is quite peaked at OTC for the current market stat. So do yourself a favor and sell OTC if you need to check out, or pray that the dev delay the introduction into an exchange till their is an upheave in BTC price |

I had high hopes for this exchange when it began. I have BCO staking. However, I can't even withdraw of trade anything on this exchange because I can't log in. It gives me invalid password with my password and even if I use my private key. My bitcoin is being held hostage and I can do nothing. Also there is incredibly backed up support. And when I try to upgrade it takes me to page not found. I feel like this exchange is already overwhelmed and I don't have much hope for it to scale up.
Has anybody figured out how to overcome the invalid password or have I just lost my money on this? Someone said that I should have used the copy button instead of copy and paste, but that doesn't help me now.

First you should probably get your own idea, secondly it would not eliminate any middleman. Any project needs a manager to get it done. It would just make YOU the middleman instead of me, the guy who knows what he is talking about and what he wants to achieve. Thirdly I was inspired by the people's interest in such a coin. When I saw these clone/scams, I knew I could do a much better job and I knew I could actually do it. And you know what I think? I think it's people like you who scam. I don't know what the team can do to revive people interest in the coin, most of the investors can't wait to sell their tokens, the growth in BTC price has also keep investors vigilant on the price at which the token will be sold on exchange, if the team can delay the distribution of bounty tokens for some time and prevent early dump it could help the price a bit
And i will be waiting to buy most of those investors token. Shit i still wish i could find someone to sell me their placeholder coins and sign over the email address attached to the account. I will not remove any donation address. I want people to give me money, to make my idea happen.
I think it's feasible, and as I said, I will do everything I can to get it done, and to make it back to them.
Escrow is a primary concern at the moment and hope you can be patient for 1 day longer. Hopefully it will be for all BTC donations,
on the terms that if this project doesn't implement the masternodes by the end of the year, everyone sending money to a specific BTC address, will get a refund, minus the escrow fee. If I decide to give in as no one will work with me, and I'm not capable of doing it myself (even out of my own pocket), then I will bail out and the escrow will refund the donors.
The ESCROWED donations will be open for a limited time only because its fair to reward those that make an initial pledge. How the donors will be rewarded is not specified in the deal. This is to avoid legal issues. It would be hard to make a coin successful that doesn't act kindly towards its backers. I can't take the coins, put them in my pocket and walk away. I want to build a good relationship with the community. (Alternatively I will do an ICO, though will be very strict with KYC/AML.)
All other donations will stay open until the deadline, though will likely remove the BTC address when a deal is done to avoid confusion.

When i said dev, i actually mean't founder. If you read my comment on accusation you would have deduced that. Anyway, glad he or she made an effort to defend the coin from a technical standpoint. Though, i still ascertain that the op accusation post is currently true, regardless of any post made afterwards by our dev, the current comments from the guy is currently true. However, if this gets the ball rolling, then i view it as a win for everybody. As the "you guys" comment, i would say i am the only one who is a holder that is willing to accept the truth as stated, everyone else feels more comfortable screaming fud, so the "you guys" comment should apply to them. |
