461  Economy / Economics / Re: Try to save money while you still can, will you ? on: March 24, 2023, 01:55:31 AM

Saving money is very important while you are still working because of things like this we might not see coming.  We have seen situations like this severely and it becomes difficult to cope when you no longer have monthly or weekly earnings coming in and you didn't have any savings. there is this popular rule, 50/30/20 rule so you can have something to fall back on while you search for another job.

Saving money becomes a problem when you earn as much as you have to pay for necessary expenses (clothing, food, shelter, medicine). Most of the population, unfortunately, lives from paycheck to paycheck. Here is how to save any amount of money in this case...
It's true that many people live like this. The only option is to cut costs even more and look for an additional source of income or a part-time job to break out of this circle. The most important thing in this situation is not to seek a miracle or help from someone but it is important to rely only on yourself.
hoping for the help of friends to get out of the circle of economic difficulties, maybe the hope is slim, unless we have luck. the main thing I think is relying on ourselves to try to make money with the skills we have, so that later we will find our own way to get a source of fortune. I chose that because I am an individualist, so working with friends will actually bring problems in the future, even though we have implemented the rules that were agreed upon at the beginning
462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETH the King of Altcoins ? on: March 23, 2023, 03:03:42 AM
In my opinion, Ethereum is the king of altcoins. ETH is one of the most well-known altcoins on the market and has a strong community of developers and users. Additionally, ETH has unique features that set it apart from other altcoins, such as its ability to support smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps). In fact, many of the most popular apps on the market are built on top of the Ethereum blockchain.

Ethereum has been in the crypto space for a long time and we have seen its potential through different market seasons so its capability is undeniably high. But I don't think having an altcoin king is necessary because there are also high-potential altcoins that might surpass Ethereum in the future. Ethereum will always be on top but we should not disregard how other top coins could reach the same achievement that it has.
among other altcoins, ethereum is indeed at the top, again the same as bitcoin, ethereum has high trust, so we can see it has the largest capitalization among other altcoins. Even though many new projects have switched to blockchain because of the high fees at that time, Ethereum remains second in CoinMarketcap to date. so that it becomes one of the altcoins that is suitable for long-term investment
463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme coins still a good invest? on: March 23, 2023, 02:36:06 AM
for me investing in meme coins is just for fun, meme coins are easy to manipulate so it often looks like pumps and dumps are happening, so only a small amount of capital to buy them. after that we have to find the right moment to sell it, because whenever the price can reverse suddenly and don't know when it will return, or even will always be in the abyss. therefore you have to be careful when investing in meme coins, big returns and big risks too
464  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is anyone using Price Action to trade full-time? on: March 20, 2023, 02:07:16 AM
Gonna rely on the single method in the trading world? You better be ready for various types of strategies to overcome your losses in the long run. By the way it’s not as easy as it sound. Just having few months to a years experience isn’t enough when entering into the crypto trading. The market is so volatile and unpredictable that one method may not continuously work on your trading for that particular trade zone. People are plotting dozens of graphs to understand the next move of crypto and here we are just relying on single only method. That ain’t gonna work for very long mate. In addition, it’s highly risky to put all the faith in single income source. Better yet manage that properly.
if there are too many strategies or trading methods, in my opinion, it will also make us dizzy, in my opinion, several methods are enough to respond to market movements. or just relying on one method can also make us successful in trading, as long as we can find out the weaknesses of the trading system that we use, considering that there is no trading system that is suitable for use in every market condition, of course there are weaknesses, and we must be prepared for the risks, this is where Psychology plays a very important role
465  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Being drunk while trading what was your experience on: March 20, 2023, 01:58:09 AM
can you trade while you are already drunk?
Under normal circumstances, I can trade crypto and lose, what's more drunk, maybe for me if I trade while drunk, I press the sell and buy buttons instead, there is an error, what's more, looking at crypto trading charts maybe it's like I'm looking at petis, I don't know what I would do if I was drunk I was trading, I can't imagine.

For me it's rare to see someone able to carry out normal activities as usual a drunkard, but if your friend can do it that's an extraordinary thing, very curious, If i had a friend like that i would see firsthand how he makes those trades, is he really serious and on target when he does it or I will look at it with a laugh.
trading is not kung fu where there is a drunken move, which is very deadly for the opponent. but when we are drunk, of course, the eye seeing the chart is not clear, and on the other hand, the brain cannot work optimally, so how can we trade in conditions like that. maybe the person who did it at a time like that was not aware that he was trading, so he was carried away in his routine, because everyday thinking about the market, seemed to be a reflex movement for trading. another possibility he is just looking for a thrill in front of his friends
466  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do we manage our crypto trading strategy on: March 20, 2023, 01:49:56 AM

When I don't take a short term trade in the market I usually trade it for the long term. Because I know that in long term trading the amount of profit can be much higher than the loss. Moreover, trading for long term reduces the risk.

What do you really mean in long time trade? Do you mean swing trade because it seem like you are referring to hodling, you need to know that hodling is different from trading, they are not the same. Also how will profit be much higher than the losses when you have a long time trade compared to short time because profit in the market whether long time or short time depends on the risk taken at the particular trade.
maybe what is meant is investment, if swing trading in a few months you may not be able to see the results, because considering the duration of the bearish season is longer than swing trading. short-term trading or scalping is indeed more difficult, but if we can master it then we have income flowing every day and can support our daily needs every month, therefore I think that short-term investment and trading are equally important
467  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will you advice a new trader to join a trading community or group? on: March 20, 2023, 01:39:47 AM
for me the first thing to do to join the community group is that we have to make our own decisions, this means that we don't just follow the analysis posted by other members, and of course that analysis is used as a consideration for our personal analysis. that way we won't be confused when there will be many different analyzes from other group members. over time we can compare and correct each of our personal analysis, so that we can find our trading style
468  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin cannot be a Bank? on: March 18, 2023, 03:59:08 AM

  • Can you pay your Mortgage with Bitcoin?
  • Can you pay your house rent with Bitcoin?
  • Can you pay all your bills with Bitcoin?
  • Can you pay your medical bills with Bitcoin?

These are only possible if Bitcoin would be regulated under governments of a certain country. Unless, the function you are trying to do could be altered in such way. Perhaps with paying your bills using Bitcoin. If the shop would accept Bitcoin as an alternative mode of payment then it is possible but expect for high fees and this cannot be avoided in countries wherein this technology is not that supported. Tendency is that merchant are happened to be investors as well of cryptocurrency and they will just be taking advantage of the opportunity but will not allow to be paid less than their ideal in every transaction. They would more likely put an interest to the normal billing and that is to compensate fees in withdrawing their funds through fiat. This is the downside of this possibility of accepting Bitcoin and other crypto as a mode of payment on countries wherein it is not that supported. Same experience is what I had in my country.
on the other hand outside the country it hasn't been legalized yet, I think shops that accept payments with bitcoin will certainly be careful if transactions are made during a bull run, because the value of bitcoin is very volatile, and risky, especially for shops that don't have double capital, of course the existing financial circulation very tight. for now I think it is also a weakness if it is currently applied in my country, besides that it is also against the law because there is no legality of payment using bitcoin
469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto related jobs on: March 18, 2023, 03:47:46 AM
In the circular world, you get a job based on your work experience which means what you can offer, jobs are available only if you have the technical know-how to do such jobs and some circular jobs are even now paying their worker's salary in crypto-related. You can start with airdrops, social medial campaigns, and a signature campaign on this forum if you are qualified and interested.
in work in the world of cryptocurrency, for now if we only rely on bounty hunters, it may be difficult to make ends meet, but from prizes that sometimes produce satisfying and sometimes not good results, then we must be able to find other alternative jobs in cryptocurrency, for me to learn trading and investing are also an alternative, by investing we have long-term income, and by trading we can make money every month, if supported by hunting for prizes, then maybe we don't spend capital from our personal pockets
470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel when people tells their story on bitcoin on: March 18, 2023, 03:06:18 AM
As I know already about crypto, hearing from others about their crypto journey is quite interesting for me. I love hearing about the bad and good times in their crypto journey and perhaps, sharing experiences could also boost trust and confidence in us. And to know that we are not just the only person who has been experiencing difficulties.

We can also hear some advice from them which we can also use someday. More sharing of experience can make us think that crypto isn't just a simple and easy investment, and could give us some insights into what will happen to us in the future.
it's really nice for us to know someone's experience while in the cryptocurrency world. we can take lessons so that we can imitate good experiences and can avoid bad experiences from someone. so to gain experience especially in terms of trading, we don't necessarily have to experience it, but it can be obtained from the experiences of other people, so we can avoid things that we don't have to do. in this section it is very pleasant to observe, because we can understand the ups and downs in the crypto world
471  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading addiction, are you coping? on: March 17, 2023, 08:16:12 AM
Trading really makes us always curious, if we profit then we will have hope for bigger profits, but if we lose then we will try to use other techniques in order to be profitable, many people say trading is like gambling, but in my opinion trading is something different from gambling , if it's gambling then we don't need any analysis and have a timeframe, while with trading we can set the profit we want and it doesn't matter if it is achieved in a long or short time.
Therefore we must be able to control our greed when we get profits, and be able to control our emotions when we experience losses. Setting profit targets and setting loss targets must be done from the start so that it becomes a benchmark for when we should stop. Don't try to exceed the targets we set at the beginning, because usually that's the first thing we will feel regret when what we do is wrong. In that way we can control ourselves, not even to become addicted to trading.
Discipline in the framework must really be applied, so that we understand the strengths and weaknesses of our trading system. There is no one perfect strategy, of course each has its own strengths and weaknesses, usually what happens is that people easily change strategies if the results don't match their analysis. until they are busy looking for the best strategy. therefore we must be in the environment of traders, so that we can tell each other about experiences, so that we can develop ourselves
472  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The patience to hold is a gift on: March 17, 2023, 07:56:18 AM
Holders can still sell in panic, those newbies panic sell because first, they are scared of losing (you should know at first that this is part of holding a bitcoin), and second, they don't have knowledge at all, they jump in because of the hype. Holders should train their minds because holding is a mental game and a waiting game as to when the price goes up and sell it all as well as the patient as this will take years or more depending on your target price.

Yeah, that's true but one way to maintain holding for a long period is by distracting yourself,  just take your mind off the price of whatever coin you're holding that way you'll reduce the chances of you ever panicking because your attention has been drawn to another thing.

I am not sure if it will work for everyone but for me, that is what I do once I buy some button to add to my stash I just take my mind off it and concentrate on what step to take next in improving my investment strategy and that has been working for me.
this method is worth a try, where we don't often see the market so we don't pay too much attention to market movements. it's different if we often monitor the market, of course it will make us panic, whether it's floating minus or floating plus. Over time, if this is left unchecked, it will mess up our minds so that we take a path that is not in accordance with the original plan. moreover this often happens to new investors, who are not yet strong psychologically due to too often looking at the market
473  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it true that 80% of the world's wealth in the hands of 20%? on: March 16, 2023, 02:16:26 AM
Governments have always been extremely inefficient, they attempt to redistribute the wealth they get by the taxes they extort from the population, but a great deal of that wealth is consumed by them as they generate a significant amount of bureaucratic jobs which are unnecessary, give themselves high salaries and create useless institutions, so despite their supposed good intentions they end up not helping the people that need their help the most.
The difference between some nations is that taxes goes to waste in all kinds of nations, but some of them try to have less government, while others try to get rid of the corruption in the government.

I believe that we do need government and it's help, because there are too many things that can't be let to private companies, it just doesn't work better for the general population, but the way it is right now, our taxes are spent inefficiently so that doesn't work neither. Instead of getting rid of all those big budget governmental organizations, we should be getting rid of people in the government who doesn't use our money for us, but uses for themselves.
Without a doubt a centralized government is needed, but the issue is that once a centralized government is in place instead of remaining as small as possible while fulfilling its functions politicians expand the government and the bureaucracy to incredible levels, and things get so bad that governments give their back to the citizens and look only after themselves and others like them, and lamentably this is something we are seeing all over the world.
if the bureaucracy runs well and the government really implements tough laws against corruptors, I think it will be able to reduce the number of corruption which is the main parasite in a country. as is the case in my country where officials are currently showing off their wealth until finally because of a case that is under pressure from the community an investigation is held for officials whose wealth is not reasonable, in the end it is the community who loses because many officials are selfish
474  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you survived during covid19 ? on: March 16, 2023, 02:05:41 AM
During the Covid 19 pandemic, the main thing is that I am still an employee today, basically I still have an income, but because the prices of almost all the goods needed have gone up, so I have to be more economical to meet my needs, especially the supply of vitamins which are expensive and rare. , until finally the covid subsides and financial conditions are of course easier to make money, because there are no more restrictions on our space to seek fortune
475  Economy / Economics / Re: Replacement? on: March 16, 2023, 01:55:31 AM
indeed the original purpose of bitcoin was created as a currency, a means of payment. but government regulations so far have not made it possible to make it happen, in its journey because it uses a few people and continues to grow, price fluctuations are unavoidable, so that in the end many people use it as an investment or trading tool, where the main goal is to make a profit. I think it's still a long time to see bitcoin as a means of payment let alone a substitute for money, seeing as the government still chooses a centralized system
476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is controlled on: March 15, 2023, 02:33:30 AM
Since most of the major altcoins move up or down at the same time as bitcoin, aren't they all controlled? How does it work?

Cool

For one, bitcoin drives the market, usually when bitcoin moves so do alts. But another huge factor is a lot of the alts are paired with bitcoin.  So as bitcoin goes up in usd so do alts because the unlying paired asset went up.  In short alts usually tend to always follow whatever bitcoin is doing.  Skip the bull and just buy bitcoin and hodl Smiley
altcoins that don't follow the movement of bitcoin, for example bitcoin turns green, so I am suspicious of that altcoin, mostly occurs in new altcoins which afterwards only become ash coins. this seems to have become a culture for every altcoin to follow the movement of bitcoin, on the other hand the biggest trust factor in cryptocurrency which makes bitcoin the leader for all cryptocurrencies. We can see this if we pair bitcoin and altcoins with USD, so we can see the movement of the two
477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are investors so sceptical about Altcoins? on: March 15, 2023, 02:22:19 AM
I am not an altcoin fan but lately, I have spent some time on the alternative cryptocurrency board and I have seen a lot of topics bordering around whether or not to buy some coins and this makes me wonder why altcoins investors are full of uncertainty and always wanting to know the opinion of others before they invest.

Is there any other reason for this other that the high risk and high volatility of altcoins compared to bitcoin?

Are they asking because they know there are special skills in altcoin analyses or some people are good at picking g g the right coin to invest in?
If we don't need other people's opinions to invest, of course we don't need to be here, because here is only a place to exchange opinions. Meanwhile, investments can only be made on the official exchange or platform that launched the coin. When someone asks it doesn't mean they don't know or don't have their own analysis. But they hope to get additional information both positive and negative. There are hundreds if not thousands of cryptos on the exchange, I'm sure you only saw a few of them, and you must have missed a lot. When you ask questions in this forum, and re-read what they have said one by one, of course you will get an interesting part for you.
there are so many altcoins listed on the exchange and of course it is difficult for us to analyze them one by one, but we can choose altcoin investments at the top at coinmarketcap, among them there are many altcoins that have been around for a long time and still exist today, and have healthy movements , in the sense of keeping abreast of the movement of bitcoin as the mother of all coins. let's just take the example of eth, bnb, matic, all three besides being safe to invest, will most likely provide better profits
478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What holds you back from investing in Altcoins ? on: March 15, 2023, 02:12:09 AM
right now I'm investing in altcoins on matic, every time it goes down I buy it according to the support area which is good to buy in my opinion. until the price is $ 0.3 I got it too, so at the current price $ 1.2 actually I'm already floating plus as a whole, but I'm targeting investing in this polygon for the long term, and I can feel calm, hopefully in the future according to my expectations so that the plan can be for real business capital
479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel selling your BTC against your plans? on: March 13, 2023, 07:29:08 AM
Exactly, when we know that we've got that much, we want to spend everything on anything and that's so true. We intend to spend it because we know that there's some fund that's just there ready to be spent anytime even if it is bitcoin. But if you're an investor and you've been getting the experiences from the market, you'll not forget that, and instead of spending you just want to keep on saving for the upcoming bull run for which may happen anytime but most likely after the halving.
Now there is no point in selling when it is the perfect time to replenish your portfolio with bitcoin. For selling, you need to wait for the bullrun to come, perhaps the level of the last ATH will be suitable for this, but now is definitely not the best time for this.

Now we are near the bottom, bitcoin has not gone lower, and this gives us hope that the price will now go further up. But in any case, I am not in a hurry and continue to buy bitcoin for a long-term investment.
indeed the journey of life is not as smooth as we have planned from the beginning. if we invest using cold money before and in the middle of the road because of a disaster so we have to sell bitcoin, even though it's still a bearish season, then that's the path we take and have to let it go. or if not we can look for a loan with the collateral we have, so we don't sell bitcoin as our future investment. provided that in debt we also calculate our source of income so that it is not burdensome
480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: he/they roasted us? on: March 13, 2023, 07:06:54 AM
Well bitcoin still remains the supreme coin among all coin, anyone thinking something else is on his own. Despite we have other currencies it doesn't means they can't operates independently without bitcoin and we know too well that is the first digital currency that gives birth to other currencies through the formation of bitcoin all other coin where created out of it. I don't think if there were no bitcoin if other would like exist for that we give respect and maximum regards to bitcoin because is the way maker for other cryptocurrency.
Yes, no one blames any other coin than bitcoin because in the crypto space we all have individual freedom, especially the freedom to fully control our finances and the freedom to choose a coin when we want to invest, when a newbie comes to this forum actually the seniors don't ban them not to invest with coins other than bitcoin but basically senior warns us not to approach coins that are obscure and have no fundamentals because most of such coins usually don't last long and eventually lose their value in the market that's why many people suggest we should invest with bitcoin which is has proven to be the only coin that can survive any situation.
bitcoin is a parameter in cryptocurrency, so the safest investment in crypto is bitcoin. if bitcoin crashes it is certain that other altcoins will also follow suit, especially for beginners who are still learning to analyze, of course investing in bitcoin will be more comfortable holding it for the long term. this is because bitcoin already has trust from the start in the world of cryptocurrency, even many people think that crypto is bitcoin, even though there are many other coins and altcoins
