maybe yes because they only own bitcoin as a cryptocurrency asset and don't have anything altcoin to compare it, and maybe wrong because they don't know if cryptocurrencies, like bitcoin, eth, bnb and others are support from each other. so that case, bitcoin can't stand for himself, bitcoin need altcoin as a pole and as a symbiotic relationship of mutualisrm.

Bitcoin can stand alone, and it does not need the support of altcoins, but bitcoin alone would not create a crypto market, and without altcoins, there would be no crypto industry.

Sincerely speaking any new coin / token launched today are for intention either to steal the little trusted and reputable coin you have hold all in the name of new project and promise what they can't even achieve. Most altcoin today has fizzled out of the industry reason being that they don't come with good plans, everyday by day they got delisted in exchange and in cmc and some coming to say he don't think bitcoin is supreme coin?

There's no mutualism between altcoins and Bitcoin, altcoins are just a tool to compete or beat Bitcoin.

It is no bragging that bitcoin is superior over altcoins but that remains the fact. Some cryptocurrency came out before bitcoin but they crashed, when bitcoin came out and survived, other altcoins copied from bitcoin block chain so that they can also survive. Let's remember that the most adopted and secured will last longer than the rest. Bitcoin is decentralised and don't need a third party which makes it more unique because transactions don't pass through anyone to be successful. These other cryptocurrency are centralized, a third party is in charge of you transaction for processing which make it vulnerable to attack. If it is not bitcoin then it cannot be like Bitcoin.
