Thank you @Hhampuz for giving me the opportunity to promote Roobet Online Casino, and good luck to all the participants who are continuing this campaign. It's been a great honor to be part of the campaign (albeit only for a very short time).

Hopefully, I've met all the requirements for this week, so I'm hereby informing you that I'm going to update my signature and avatar now according to the rules of my new campaign.

Take care!

All good points, but you probably missed the 'work-in-progress' in the title. Wink
Thanks for the suggestions, though.

Conclusion: you cannot trust that and in fact you are chasing for something that cannot be tested from the metadata to be truly genuine.

I agree. I think it is impossible to identify a document modifications unless there is an original CRC32 checksum for comparison.

4607  Economy / Web Wallets / [LIST] ✔️ A Curated List of Web Wallets (work-in-progress) on: January 03, 2021, 04:12:37 PM
With so many crypto wallets to choose from, I decided to make a curated list of the best online (web based) solutions. Online crypto wallets (or web wallets) typically store your private keys online and can be accessed with a user-defined password or some other authentication method. Of course, in addition to the obvious advantages, online wallets also have several disadvantages. In this topic, I will try to explain all these aspects briefly as well as to highlight some of the most popular options.

I conducted extensive research, and I didn't find a list like that on this forum (correct me if I'm wrong). Contributions from all members of the bitcointalk community are welcome. If you are aware of any interesting web wallets that should be included, please don't hesitate to suggest them. I'm definitely going to check them out and add them to the list.

4608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: January 03, 2021, 03:34:54 PM
When did you guys stumble onto Litecoin?

Not exactly sure, but I'm guessing somewhere around 2014-2015, too. The problem is that I wasn't particularly interested in cryptocurrencies in general at the time.
I think I bought my first Litcoin sometime in 2017.
4609  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: There is no certainty in trading on: January 03, 2021, 02:42:50 PM
It's true that there is no certainty in trading, that's why some people think trading is similar to gambling.
<cut>

True, both trading and gambling require taking a calculated risk. A chance taken after careful assessment of the most probable outcome.
But when it comes to gambling, the house always has an edge - a mathematical advantage that the casino has over its players. Another key difference is that gamblers, unlike traders, have fewer ways to mitigate their losses.
4610  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Knowing about this forum will help more on: January 03, 2021, 02:32:51 PM
yeah, having this forum is not all about money but this is also a place to educate and open our minds to digitalization and cryptocurrency existence. This forum is unique, investing, trading, decision making, you can learn a lot from here. And I'm so thankful to the person that brought me here and enlighten me.

Without a doubt, learning about cryptocurrencies presents numerous new earning opportunities. I'm not talking about developers and programmers, but about the various new possibilities for regular folk. Take, for example, various platforms for staking and lending, trading, and investment opportunities. None of this would have been possible without bitcointalk forum.

The only regret I have is that I didn't know about this forum before.

In fact, Bitcoin has been in uncharted territory since December 17, when it reached a new all-time high above $23k. It is now in pure price discovery mode. Many enthusiasts claim that this time the rally varies from 2017's craze and may signify a prolonged and a sustained rise for bitcoin.

"The flow of institutional news is becoming more steady and December has brought a whole new wave of interest, as can be seen from the chart below:"

Mislim da imaš slobobnih slotova u najboljim bitvest in 777 kampanjama, a mislim da je in OWNR wallet kampanja sada otvorena ali samo za Senior membere:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5301135.0

Točno. OWNR Wallet kampanja prima dva Sr. Member člana. Minimalno 20 postova tjedno, $25 BTC/Week.

2x Sr Member slots are opened. Keep Apply

Od sutra će vjerojatno biti barem jedno slobodno mjesto i u Roobet kampanji jer ja prelazim u Nakitcoins.
4615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting History - 2020 on: January 03, 2021, 10:19:05 AM
Not a good story to hold on but a good story to learn on our mistakes in gambling, I also had a lot of bad experiences in gambling, but I prefer forgetting all of them and just move on there's no need crying over a spilled milk, just set up rules where you are not going to lose big money and learn to accept the fact that gambling is a game of luck, don't look for it as a way to make money.

Indeed. Casual gambling for entertainment and fun is probably all right. But if you become addicted and it starts to affect your life too much, you should definitely seek professional help and find a way to quit gambling.

Gambling cannot be a way of life and as such, we must not allow it to affect our private lives and personal relationships. I happen to know a few people whose lives have literally been ruined by gambling addiction. They've lost almost everything: their jobs, their homes, their families... I'm sure none of us wants to be in such a situation.

Many of you think that the newbies only come for the merits or for the bounty you might be right but keep in yourind that five fingers are not equal.

You're wrong. You can't possibly know what many of us think, and there are countless examples of newbie members making good progress on the forum with their positive contributions and engagement. Well, we were all newbies at some point.

But violating the forum rules is not the way to go. And you're still doing this. You're making multiple posts in a row, even though you should know it's against the rules.

4618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OMG !!!!! You BitCoin people were right. I wish I had bought back in March :( on: January 02, 2021, 09:42:12 PM
The best way will be to store in Binance as it has 2 step verification and the exchange seems healthy for atleast this entire year. Other way would be to store on ledger hardware wallet. Please make sure you purchase it from the original website and not from amazon as the sellers might just copy the private keys before sending the hardware to you!

Please stop giving people very bad advice and spreading false information about things that you obviously don't understand.
I think, as a newbie, you need to concentrate more on educating yourself.
4619  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Pregled Bitcointalk Signature-Ad kampanja on: January 02, 2021, 08:23:49 PM
U Bitvest i 777coin kampanjama su također snižene stope isplate pa sada umjesto kikirikija plaćaju u kokicama.
Izgleda da se lightlord unaprijed priprema za skok BTC-a na 100k!  Grin

Price change to be in effect, starting right after this Sunday/round
