It's now 2017 UTC. Happy New Year everyone. We closed off 2016 at $968USD at Bitcoinaverage, up from $434. Not a bad year. That's $1301CAD, up exactly $700 from a year ago. We've had better gains most other years percentage-wise, but considering we're heading into 2017 in a steady rise with lots of corrections and a feeling that the rally is just beginning, I'm more than happy. Cheers all. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi664.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fvv10%2FJimboToronto%2FPutinToast.jpg&t=663&c=6gH6zsWZfhwaRg) Here in the Big Smoke we've still got almost 5 hours until we sing Auld Lang Syne but it's never to early to start partying. Cheers again. Interesting threesome right there!!! Jeremy, Queenie and Putin! fify

I wasn't serious it was just tongue and cheek reverse psychology. I have 50 coins that I'm quite proud of. Originally bought 25 at around $280. I bet 8.5 BTC that Trump would win, which brought me up to 50. congrats on your windfall. i was gonna comment about revealing the amount of ones bitcoin stash on this thread....but 2nd thought, i wont

"You've got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em,"
All I know is bitcoin experiences great pumps and spectacular dumps. I would be surprised if this was not the case this time.
I can picture all those who held coins from the epic pump of 2013 waiting for ROI. Fingers resting on triggers.
All it takes is for some of the big boys to pull triggers and all hell breaks loose.
Sorry to put a damper on the Holiday joy but we need to be realistic. We are on thin ice.
Hope I'm wrong and bitcoin keeps surging ahead.
Hey look, I hit quote and didn't delete the 6 line breaks after your text. Of all the stupid shit that gets posted here, 6 line breaks is what gets you guys fired up. L O Fucking L 7! Hi guys, Would there be any interest in an auction site that uses TEK?
as i have made one, started out as just an experiment but has turned out too good to toss to the side, if there would be enough interest i would host it. Something like this might save the coin.
one question is it normal for the wallet to round to 6 decimal places? its one issue i havn't got around.
donate TEK to help the project Bb82VWAn1QmE48Hpx4hp7S3BKD1er7V9Pr
I vote yes Hi guys i have decided to host it, see tekauction.comand this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1723034.0well great effort. I find it a little strange that a newbie account would go to such lengths to create and host an auction site for a crypto coin thats all but dead. just saying. Knowing that fishing scams and the like are extremely prevelant around the crypto theater (namely Bitcointalk) my paranoia is talking, so please dont take it personally. Hope it pans out but I'll just watch from the sidelines for now. Good luck.

possibly, some of the bigger whales may have decided to pull some of their cash off of the exchange,
Sounds as if you think whales keep the bulk of their coins parked on an exchange? With the propensity of pecuniary pilferers plundering principal, would that not be a particularly problematic proclivity? Perfectly plausible probability... potentially, a perfectly plausible probable possibility......ok thats enough
