4604  Economy / Services / Re: Campaign manager needed on: September 04, 2016, 11:21:19 PM
I've been in several campaigns that have had both SFR10 and yahoo as the managers, and it seems that yahoo provides (generally) slightly more information than SFR when things happen, but both are pretty good. I don't vote for either, but it's OP's choice either way; lutpin's pretty good as well, even though he's been inactive for a while afaik. Every manager has his own ways of getting things done, and it's just personal preference for the most part.

Yahoo and SFR both provide reasons why they've kicked or denied you from a campaign; you can ask any manager this, but they provide the details more consistently.
4605  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW MUCH YOU EARN/LOSE FROM TRADING on: September 04, 2016, 10:13:16 PM
With only bitcoin trade I have earned a lot, I will say hundreds of dollars, while with altcoins, I have earned some bigger amount in some coins and lost some bigger amount in some other coins, especially with LIR i have doubled my bitcoins for a couple of times but at one stage when it started to decrease in value I started to lose, while in FRWC I have lost a good amount,
FRWC was a pretty unstable coin, i made a few dollars from that before I traded all that I had for BTC. Never invest too much in one coin, and never invest more than you can afford to lose; it's just like gambling, except that you can manage your money and profit better.
I made quite a lot on LIR as well, although I traded for btc a little too soon.
4606  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW MUCH YOU EARN/LOSE FROM TRADING on: September 04, 2016, 07:21:37 PM
I've actually made quite a lot of money from trading in the last few months; almost 0.5BTC in fact, most of it from trading obscure altcoins and buying before pump-and-dump operations. It's great to stay informed. I cut my losses as soon as they happened, and I never made any rash decisions and just kept trading like nothing ever happened when I took a loss, and it worked out in the end.

Never ride a train, you will lose. I trade other things besides cryptocurrencies like CS:GO skins and stickers, and those happen a lot of the time. You never know when it'll all go down, and when I do decide to buy on a train, I sell as soon as I make a little bit of profit. Never get greedy, and you'll get somewhere. If you're interested in long-term profit, don't trade small altcoins- those are risky investments and you can lose everything in a matter of seconds.

I know this isn't bitcoin-related, but I bought these Crown foils when the price was just around 8$, and I sold when they peaked at around ~200USD. Risky stuff. Sorry for the tiny picture, but you can see the 200$ mark relatively well. Smiley

4607  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Steam Account Recovery Question. on: September 04, 2016, 07:14:58 PM
I've tried doing this with steam before(I'm a pretty big CS:GO trader, 500+USD knives, I won't mention my name ofc) as I lost one of my smurf accounts with several high tier knives before, but they wouldn't really accept it and kept asking for some different kind of purchase- thankfully, I bought a few other games on that account, but that was before steamguard and all of that shit. Still sad that you need to confirm pretty much everything nowadays, but that's just steam's way of preventing mistakes, and I guess it works pretty well.
4608  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcointalk is a good way to get information about Bitcoins? on: September 04, 2016, 07:10:06 PM
Bitcointalk's great for getting pretty much any information on cryptocurrencies- many miners are announced right here, as well as new coins and pretty much everything. Information is sometimes released first on Bitcointalk and propagates through the crypto world, but most of the time, it won't be like that. if it weren't so helpful we wouldn't have so many signature campaigns and advertisements- remember, people are paying for impressions. Smiley
4609  Economy / Auctions / Re: Bitcointalk account :) uid is under 35 on: September 04, 2016, 05:59:30 PM
20$. Smiley I've always wanted an acc like this, I'm willing to do pretty much anything for it.

4611  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: September 04, 2016, 12:34:40 PM
I made something for living in my country by signature campaing and gambling thats sound bad but I made arround.. 80$ moth.. when in my country one moth is like 50$

And if i work Make a extra 50. total ammount 130$ very nice income if you are living in Venezuela.
The problem with that earnings is that bro that due to the increasing users among signature first of all its hard to get a place in any signature campaign and even if you get a spot you will be paid less because the competition is so high. Still I think signatures is a good methd to earn but earning a living is not possible with signatures.

I thought it possible make a living from the signature campaign. I myself started only from signature campaign to make a living, a few months later after collecting a capital I finally tried to trade, and to date I was good enough to get more from trade.

For now, earning bitcoin just an extra income for me that couldn't make for living but fair enough to buy something that I need or just savings it for several years. I agree to make living by signature campaign or trade can meet the daily needs depends on where you live and your current level of living, like he said $130 is a very nice income if you are living in Venezuela.

It may be possible to live in Venezuela with the income of $130 but its not possible everywhere, it will depend on the country and the cost of living, for me I at least need 1 btc for living.
I need at least 2 where I live Cheesy I can probably make do with even less, but 2 btc is the bare minimum for me. There are always going to be people who post here as signature campaigns are their main source of money. It's not a lot, but if you can get into a stable and nice-paying campaign, you can make quite a lot of money per month, assuming you post the maximum amount. I've earned around 700-800USD through signature campaigns as of now, and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon.
4612  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] 2x CSGO Game keys. on: September 04, 2016, 11:04:07 AM
I sell keys, not gifts at $8/key, trusted seller by many, always deliver good quality.

Are you willing to go first if no can we hire escrow.
Please shoot me a PM about that keys are they global ?

$8-8.50 each your welcome https://www.g2a.com/counter-strike-global-offensive-global.html

He literally just said he wants about $7 a key. G2A's such a popular site, it's pretty obvious he wants someone here to beat G2A's deal.

OP's evading a ban... he can disappear at any second, maybe not even on his own accord.
G2a's also got a pretty big record of having people sell game keys that were bought with stolen credit cards- not a big deal to most people, but half the gaming community tries to avoid them. I find lower prices elsewhere. Smiley They still provide good deals, but buying from them practically hurts the devs- the stolen CC charges back, cdkey is still active, dev loses money.

I had a few keys a week or two ago, but I don't have them right kow; i'll contact you when I get them back in stock.
4613  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Salvage old Antminer S3+? on: September 04, 2016, 11:00:28 AM
Fans are going to be relatively useful;  iirc they're pwms and if you have a desktop, they should fit nicely- they're pretty strong fans, and I use them in my PC. Heatsinks may work if you need something for them, but for the most part, I'd just sell the unit. Hashboards and controller bundled might work as well.
4614  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Mining in 20 years time on: September 04, 2016, 10:56:45 AM
transaction costs will be the only source of income for miners. to keep the miners alive throughout the world should use digital currencies as the main medium of exchange, so it is likely that transaction costs will rise due to increased demand for the transaction.

The problems is the block size is quite full at the moment. It cannot support more transactions, so people will not use bitcoin.
It's not quite that full yet; a normal transaction will usually be processed within one or two blocks, and backups in transactions usually only happen after a hashrate drop or a big gap in blocktime, and those are usually fixed very quickly; it won't drive people away, but transactions are arguably more secure in Bitcoin than most other payment systems.

Of course, there will always be more BIPs that can increase block size or whatever we'll need in the future; either way, what needs fixing will eventually be fixed.

Sometimes if there is a big gap in the block time, there will be a big hold up in the mempool. If the block size is 2MB, the problem will be less severe.
It doesn't last forever, and it's usually fixed by a quick succession of blocks after the blockgap. Things like this naturally happen, and blocksize is good where it is now- payments get confirmed relatively quickly. Like I said, improvements will be made when they are actually needed, which will be decided by mining hashpower or bips(AFAIK). The last time we tried to expand blocksize, it didn't work so well.
4615  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin worst decision you will ever make? on: September 04, 2016, 10:53:19 AM
Mine was probably when I started getting into Investor-based Games and ponzis- I actually did make quite a good amount of money from them, but I lured so many people in... :/ i dont really do that much at all anymore, and I stick to traditional gambling casinos. I haven't won too much from those, but they're pretty fun to play.
4616  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: About Starting in mining on: September 04, 2016, 01:22:52 AM
In my opinion, Bitmain is the one of the leading companies providing the mining equipments, I'm not sure if it's worth on these days though.
Bitmain's practically the only one if you have electricity that's not free. Avalon's rumored to be releasing the A7 soon, but who knows how long that'll take... and quality issues with their new owner comapny (i expect it'll be similar to their old quality, but just in case
.). Besides that, Bitmain's done an average job- not as good as I'd like, but they've done some good and some bad.
4617  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [GUIDE] How to make BTC for beginners on: September 04, 2016, 01:18:41 AM
Okay, I have seen many people asking how to start making Bitcoins. I have seen hundreds of people posting the same question in this sub, so I have compiled a short list of ways to make BTC which you can try. I know many people would say start by using faucets but you are literally going to be making peanuts. Anyway, here are a few different methods that I think might benefit you:

Buying/Selling CS:GO Skins on BitSkins - Easy to do, can make a fair bit of profit.

Faucets - Not the best method as I have mentioned, you will literally make cents.

Advertise your services
- Use the marketplace section of this forum.

Complete Surveys on websites like GitCoin
- This can make you thousands of satoshis and actually up a fair amount of BTC.

Join a signature campaign on Bitcointalk - One of the best methods as you can make a passive BTC income by posting on here.

Create your own faucet website or rotator - Advertise your referral links in your own rotator.[/b]

Start trading Bitcoins yourself - You can do this by increasing your capital using the methods above and then using a trading bot website like CryptoTrader.

Hope this helps!  Cheesy
I always love to add some comment to posts like this.

1. CS:Go skins trade - do it only if you are a gamer. If you re not CS:Go fan then don't even start with it, you will be bored and not happy with skin speculation.
2. Faucets - thing of the past - the best way to lose some time and earn 0.00001 USD. Don't even think about profiting with faucets.
3. Advertise your services - I assume that is viable if you are skilled individual, then yes. You can work and earn bitcoin this way.
4. Signature Campaigns - only if you are Full Member and higher, below that level Sig Camps payment is rather low. And it is NOT A PASSIVE INCOME at all.
5. Your own faucet, rotator - actually if you are a newbie then it is not advised. You will need time and effort to advertise, position your faucet and some initial funds.
6. Trading BTC/Altcoins - again not advised if you are a newbie, it might be almost like a gambling.
Skins can be quite profitable, especially with the market slump that CS:GO is experiencing; investing in stickers while the prices are half off after majors ends can get you a fair bit of profit if the stickers look nice. Bitskins buy and resell won't work half of the tike, and you'll need to learn a lot of trading techniques, which take lots of time but can be really profitable. The game itself is fun too Smiley you can show off your new skins on comp and casual or any mode you wish.
4618  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: hello looking into investing into mining on: September 02, 2016, 10:28:15 PM
Mining isn't the goldmine that everybody talks about, first of all. It's about as competitive as anything else in life, and you'll likely have a hard time getting profit without insanely low electricity prices; that said, you'll still be able to make at least ROI with most miners. Altcoins like Ethereum may actually be a better choice than pure Bitcoin mining as of now; GPUs have a relatively high resale value, and you can actually use them for another purpose once you're satisfied with the profit you've made, assuming you haven't fried it. ASICs, on the other hand, get much more difficult to sell as soon as most people hit ROI or as soon as a miner becomes unprofitable. You can pick either, but I'd actually go with Altcoin mining as of now- if you still want to go the Bitcoin way, try the S9 or R4. I'd advise using the APW3 with most miners right now; prices are going a bit down, and the APW3 and APW5 have the same 93% efficiency AFAIK. Cooling will also be an issue, and that's 5 more sentences I won't go into- just make sure you don't use too much electricity. Either way, do your research. Good luck!
4619  Economy / Services / Re: Free 0.003 btc on: August 31, 2016, 10:43:58 PM
0.003 is not high but if its easy money i will interest
and also if you escrow the funds we all more interest because you're newbie so better use escrow

If it is too good too be true, it is too good to be true.
Like stated a brand new account, no escrow no proof of funds and worst of all, very vague on how you get it.

I would be surprised if it is not a scam.
It's a relatively small amount of bitcoin anyways; escrow wouldn't be necessary imo. Of course, some people prefer security, so OP may want to consider that, but it doesn't seem too big of a deal. Nobody's gone out and said that they've been paid yet; if someone could clear this up, we'd all appreciate it. Doesn't seem to be too appealing with the low pay either way, but I suppose if you're in need of some 'free' money, I guess you could try this out.
4620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Good mining programs to use? on: August 31, 2016, 10:40:27 PM
Please don't mine Bitcoin with your poor GPU or CPU; you'll fry it. CG and BFGminer work well for mining, whether gpu or ASIC-related. Specialized software is available for other algorithms, but for bitcoin mining, i recommend buying the R4 or S9 (R4 has slightly higher power use per ASIC, maybe binned ASICs?) for fastest roi, assuming you have electrical costs of near 0.1$/kwh.

Yes, you need special software for dash, x11, scrypt, and all those. Just search '(insert algorithm or coin name here) mining software' and you'll find results in a snap.
