I have some old Antminer S3+ which I haven't used for a while. They are just taking space and I'm looking to throw them away. Before I do so, is there anything worth salvaging? The fans maybe?

Fans are going to be relatively useful;  iirc they're pwms and if you have a desktop, they should fit nicely- they're pretty strong fans, and I use them in my PC. Heatsinks may work if you need something for them, but for the most part, I'd just sell the unit. Hashboards and controller bundled might work as well.
