Yes it is basic knowledge. We must keep the amount we have on the exchange to be able to trade. sometimes some exchange does not offer good security features and even the exchange can make an action that is not commendable by taking over the account we have. every time we entrust the amount we have on the exchange then we must be prepared to face the bad risks occur. Security is only guaranteed when we can save the amount we have on personal wallet, especially is an offline wallet that has a private key security feature. Each coin must have a wallett official and it is the safest option to date.
That's why even if you're a trader or long-term holder then you should not put all your funds on a certain exchange/web wallet, don't invest/trade what you can't afford to lose. Because any sites are too vulnerable to hacking. Trading with individuals on forums etc. is another option to avoid using centralized exchange.
This might be a good option but be careful and be aware to whom you trade with, use an escrow for good. I'm a FIRM believer that it is ALMOST ALWAYS an inside job when any place gets 'hacked'.
Should I say an exit scam.

You can accuse Yobit anytime you want because of their shit service but they apparently not. They just have a shit exchange and worst support/staff that they can't respond to their users on time, it will take weeks/month/s before they replied. So just wait until they respond and be patient because no one can help you here, just them. And I'm just wondering that there are so many better exchanges on web but you still choose this site. You can even research on google first before sending money to any site so you can find out how good/bad their services.

Actually, I'm not supposed to add you to the list because of fewer proofs on your portfolio, there's no even a single reply from the community on your service thread. Because of my mistake, I accidentally added you to the list so I will not remove you this time but I will do it if you still not update your portfolio. I will assume that you will edit your portfolio even images since you're an experienced designer, including the things you've done, videos, or even links will help. Hi bL4nkcode, i'd like to appear on your list ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) . Thanks --sinp-- Added ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Update 25-Jan-2018: Add User Zpectrum, Nrcewker

1) So are you saying that there is no way to do an offline paper wallet like Coinbase offers?
I didn't know that coinbase offer an offline wallet, but even if they did I will not recommend using it the same as their exchange site. 2) If I buy a desktop wallet for my PC, can I put it on a flash drive and erase from my desktop so that even if my desktop is hacked I am safe?
You can't buy a desktop wallet, it's just a secured wallet(software) installed on your PC. Considering you're talking about buying hardware wallet. Even if you have an infected PC you can use this HW safely coz HW can't be infected with malware. Just make sure that you will never share the 24-word recovery phrase which will be your backup, save it on a safe place offline for your own good else your funds on your HW can be compromised.

Please be patient CEX having a hard time with the tremendous withdrawal request they've been received from their users as also seen in this forum. Take time to read this message from CEXWe understand your concerns and we kindly ask for an apology for the delays in payment processing. Nevertheless, it does not depends on us but rather on our payment partner. They are currently overloaded with requests and do not manage to process them properly. As for now, the payments in USD and GBP are rejected and the funds are turned back to users' accounts. Furthermore, we would like to inform that wire USD and GBP transactions will be temporarily disabled on the platform. We will do our best to ensure that the all the users receive their funds in full.
We do not intend to hold customers' money for purpose as we understand that it has a negative impact on our reputation. Unfortunately, we have currently got in the situation when the payments are processed longer than acceptable and longer than we want them to be. We are currently looking for the better payment options. As for now, we kindly ask you to stay patient.

Hey was wondering, is the Gas generated with NEO the same GAS as used on the Ethereum blockchain? Or not?
Thanks !
They are totally different, tho you can call the term "Gas" to both of them but as what's the concept of bitcoin. But you can't use eth gas to send neo or vice versa as what you are asking. Gas/transaction fee are small part of your eth/neo/btc which are used for transaction fee. So can we pays fees on néo transfert with cas? Sorry but idk how néo works
Yes that's correct,a little correction its "gas" not cas. You can search how neo works via google.

I don't think if service discussion is the right board whereas this should be on announcement or marketplace in altcoins if I'm not wrong. But seriously how can you define a little ICO test sale? ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) this little ICO test sale
The team don't even have some links to their bio/linkedin/twitter/fb, just random names with random pictures too. So how come people will try your little ICO test sale? ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

Can you signed message together with the date today with this address 1HTgxSxA72oXp7wst4QvK8fwCoqqUkWfyF posted by golden0707 here, it's the only address posted by that account so that's the only proof you can prove that the mentioned account is originally owned by you. Once done, just wait for some mod/s see this thread or try to PM them, but if you can't sign a message with that address then don't mind PM'ming them coz it's useless IMO.

Blockchain.info wallet is not ERC20 supported, that's why I'm using My Ether wallet for storing my ETH tokens. But I don't think MEW account is safe for long term storing but no other option is there to us except MEW account. But, all crypto traders are worrying about safety of Etherum token wallet.
If you still worrying using myetherwallet, then you can try to buy a hardware wallet if you can afford to buy it, I recommend ledger nano, it is very safe there unless you expose your 24 seed to anyone or to an unsafe place, offline/online. But if you only want to save it on any exchange for trading then try to secured your account with 2FA or SMS verification and don't store your funds there for a lifetime because a website can be breach but still I will not guarantee your safety there.

some functionality currently requires use of the GreenAddress desktop app (initializing hardware wallets). [1]To initialize your Ledger Nano with the GreenAddress wallet, you have to do this with the Chrome application. [2]. just follow two tutorials. I hope this is the solution to your problem Seems I'm not willing to wipe my ledger nano with greenaddress to use segwit only on android with the method of greenaddress. --snip-- i would rather wait for mycelium to support it. Let's say even if i do it, would i be able to import my wallet/do transaction with mycelium?
Of course, yes, if mycelium do already support segwit and what's the import thing you are saying.

Blockchain.info wallet is not ERC20 supported, that's why I'm looking for the one that is and so I've created the MEW one and I know where to look for my tokens, just can't find the option to import my private key to the new wallet, that's what I'm asking here.
There's no import button in myetherwallet.com, you should export the private keys of your eth address on blockchain.info then use the private key to logging in myetherwallet. If you think your eth address on blockchain is not safe enough, you can transfer your tokens from blockchain.info to your mew that you created before. Make sure you have balance on your eth address on blockchain.info for the gas.

Nice try to test the site and on that very first thing you can actually say that this service is a totally scam. Even web design is so unprofessional. So I dunno if someone got scammed with this site Exactly ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

AFAIK most popular or common exchanges supports segwit address already except the bech32 format which is uncommon wallet address that starts at bc1
