4601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you make money with NFTs? on: June 23, 2021, 09:20:42 AM
Making money with NFTs comes with two factor which is influence and talent. You can make NFTs if you are good at painting or can make something unique that will attract people to buy them. Some people with talents can make money out of this but are not noticed because they have no means to promote their service. They just become popular if some influential personality notices them and started promoting on their social media.

If you think you have a talent for this, you can create your own NFT and sell it on a marketplace like Opensea. https://www.cnbc.com/2021/03/23/how-to-create-buy-sell-nfts.html
4602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does implementing a tax on a gambling platform really help a country? on: June 23, 2021, 05:37:26 AM
Yes, perhaps there is always a hidden tax in gambling business. It is an area of business that has always had links with people of dubious reputation and, in some cases like Las Vegas, the links with criminal groups has been clearly established. Even nowadays there is a link with the government an the practices that are allowed there are not allowed in other parts. I call this a hidden tax because at the end of the day this money will end up in the hands of the officials and eventually back into the economy by means of their purchases.

I think this also exists in other businesses. It is more like a bribe to keep that business establishment continue operating and be protected by government officials or any powerful authorities. If they fail to give those "hidden taxes" then they would face some violation resulting in their business to close. These hidden taxes are what make these corrupt officials and authorities become rich, their salary is just a small chunk of money compared to what they receive.
4603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Auto Deduct System on: June 22, 2021, 01:38:34 AM
There should be a stopped button or something like we don't want to include the address on the automatic lottery draw every week.

This is the first time I saw that kind of system. How much is the ticket? Those who have a balance less than the price of the ticket are safe with the deductions.

Each lotto token costs $0.029 right now and needs atleast 25 tokens based on the previous draws so qualifying for the lottery is not that expensive. If converted to fiat, the requirement for each draw is only $0.72 which have a chance to win lotto tokens equivalent to 200$. With the 4000 current token holders, they get more from their deduction than their prize gives. They did an airdrop way back January and I think mostly airdrop holders are only the participants of their lotteries. Gamblers won't like this type of system as it doesn't give the thrill or satisfaction of what a real gambling platform provides.
4604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL...until when? on: June 21, 2021, 09:33:12 AM
Those who advocate hodling, when do you cash out?

I mean, dying hodling is not the plan, is it? Eventually, you'd need to enjoy the fruits of your patience, right? When is that, when someone says "hodl"? Is it a savings plan? A retirement fund? What does it mean to hodl?

Hodling can work both as savings and retirement.

If something happens and don't have enough money, you don't have to borrow money from someone or get a loan during emergencies. If you manage to not touch it until you are not able to work then it can become your retirement plan. If you're still financially stable after retirement, then you can decide if your children will inherit your crypto investment.

It is the same when buying a tangible asset like pieces of jewelry, you will only sell it when you need the money from that particular investment.
4605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling is the worst piece of shit you can imagine on: June 21, 2021, 04:35:13 AM
Why??? Why would anyone play on these when there are eur and usd casinos and poker rooms?

~snip

Have you ever tried using dogecoin, xrp, or trx to gamble? They have low fees and they are cheap that someone with a small bankroll would still be able to enjoy gambling for a couple of hours. Crypto is a better option for me than fiat because you don't need to provide your private information to gamble. If you are a high roller that you want to gamble for profit, there are stablecoins now which is tied to the value of USD. Cryptocurrencies is not just for gambling, it has plenty of uses and potential to improve our technology.
4606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Auto Deduct System on: June 20, 2021, 04:11:14 AM
I just have think of this as LOTTO ( site : lotto.finance) is implementing this, and one way to get out of that is to either wrapped the tokens or bridge it on another chain, do you think its reasonable not to have a stop button to exclude your address once you don't want it anymore?

The sole purpose of their token is to gamble like in a lottery so I don't see a reason why they will include a stop button for their users that doesn't want to participate. You buy their token not as an investment but as a ticket hoping that you would win from their lottery. I can't say it's a scam but since only 1 address wins per lottery draw, what they give to the winner is also what they deduct from their token holders. And I think they even get more when reducing token holder's balance than what their prize gives.
4607  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Are they online games where Bitcoin can be earned while playing them on: June 19, 2021, 07:15:38 AM
Are there games that pays it's winners in Bitcoin or online games where one can stake Bitcoin.

You can check Lightnite, I just saw that from a youtuber that often promotes upcoming blockchain games. The game needs to be purchased $20 first before playing. For the amount you can earn, I don't have any idea how much it gives or is it even worth the time playing.

I'm been curious because I feel life should be a bit more easier at this point and earning shouldn't be by much manual tasks anymore since everything currently on the planet is digital. I have seen a whole lot of Crypto games online but I'm been scared of been scammed or wasting my data on fake games.

How can you say life became easier because of crypto games? Upcoming blockchain games like embersword, mirandus, etc. requires some investment in order for someone to have a good start. You can't just earn tons of money without investing in those games.

I stumbled on this few games and I don't know how real the may be so I decided to share it with my fellow gamblers so as to get good guidiance on how to go about online games where one can earn real coins be it altcoin and Bitcoin

Help me analyze this :

~snip

I already saw these games since I was a newbie in crypto, from the looks of it I doubt they will pay their users with what their saying. What their after here is the ads showed by the app for the dev to only benefit. If you have plenty of time, you can try one of those games to see if they will really pay to your address.
4608  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reminder for crypto newbies, traders. Be cautious with new exchanges on: June 17, 2021, 02:52:28 PM
If it is a new exchange that you are using, be very careful with your funds there. If possible store them in non-custodial wallets or transfer them to a reputable exchange where it is also listed. It is even more safe to just store it in a non-custodial wallet if it is your long-term investment. You have no control on your cryptos if it is on a particular centralized exchange no matter how they are reputable. No one knows if that platform will be hacked anytime soon and you can't just blame them for your loss.
4609  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading futures without knowledge of chart patterns, is gambling not trading on: June 17, 2021, 01:31:37 PM
This is what I've been telling to my friends that want to try futures trading. They get attracted to the gains they saw from their friends on social media and get curious if they can still do it too. They don't know it is very risky and can cost you a lot of money in just seconds if the market goes opposite of what they want. I even see some people just dive into it with a huge capital but no knowledge at all. They think that futures trading is the way for them to be millionaires.
4610  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you investing in crypto currency alone? on: June 17, 2021, 12:24:44 PM
I am curious, Apart from your crypto Holdings, what other investments do you have? Or are you investing in crypto alone?

Gain in stocks is really slow and small unless you have a huge capital for it like hundred thousands. Unlike in crypto, investing to good potential coins like bnb, eth, and sol will bring you good gains even if you don't have huge capital. You just need to have strong mind to not be affected when there is fuds or it is bear season. I've been into crypto since 2016 and I already saw many coins that soared from $1 to more than $10 now. If I just bought some of those coins in its early days then I would be rich by now.
4611  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and happiness. on: June 17, 2021, 11:40:45 AM
What is your opinion on the subject of "money & happiness"?

Happiness is subjective, some people are happy with non-material things and already contented with what they can afford. They don't get angry or jealous if someone close to them becomes successful hence they work hard to achieve what they want in life.

Money only gives us pleasure like what most of us feel when buying an item that we really want. When we found a better product, we are not happy anymore with what we currently have.
4612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some millionaires hate Bitcoin? on: June 17, 2021, 10:52:18 AM
The only reason I can think of why they hate bitcoin is they don't want to buy at the current price. They use their influence to say some bad stuff about bitcoin to bring the price down, then when their statement causes panic on the bitcoin market they will buy at that lower price. I don't think it is their age that they hate digital currencies.  I'm sure they know fiat can be easily printed while bitcoin has a limited amount of supply. Technology is evolving so they know what type of assets are good to invest with the current generation.

Great work on your blogging website about gambling OP! The homepage could help a lot of newbies before they try any crypto-gambling platform to familiarize their self from the terms often found to it. Your reviews from different gambling website are very simple yet straightforward, you even included some screenshots of what you are explaining which is very interactive with the visitor of your website. 4614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it still okay to fake kyc in 2021? on: June 16, 2021, 10:30:46 AM
You're just putting your account at risk if you are going to fake the KYC verification of a particular platform especially if you have big amounts to put there. Platforms also want to protect their business by asking KYC so they can't be used as a medium for money laundering. I know that all of us don't want our identities to be sold on the black market or used in doing illegal things so we should also be careful about where we are providing our private information. If it is a reputable platform, then why will you be afraid of doing KYC.
4615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MOTOGP Tournament - Betting? on: June 16, 2021, 06:14:33 AM
If football is the king sport, the biggest soccer matches in the world are welcome and are offered by many casinos to bet on, then why not a casino that allows us to bet on racing matches? Most of the current sports betting platforms are football, some have a few other types of sports, however, I have not seen any casinos that allow betting on MotoGP racing. Why can't it become popular, even though the races are so attractive that few people want to miss it. For racing, people often watch rather than bet, why?

Do you guys think there is any reason or limitation for this?

Racing is not that popular in many countries because it is only held in American and European countries where most racers came from. Not all countries have their own racing team to represent them unlike football, boxing, basketball, etc. Many people still prefer betting on contact sports rather than racing because it is liked by the majority and they can exchange opinions about it with someone they know. I once watched a motogp and f1 racing on cable tv and it got me bored too, it takes a lot of laps before the tournament finishes. I prefer betting on a match that can end in less than 1 or 2 hrs and I guess this is also what people prefer.
4616  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jack Dorsey is now speaking up on: June 15, 2021, 02:15:47 PM
Just as Elon Musk started to speak up at some point, got everyone hooked and then started to "musk" the Market, lol. Lets hope Jack Dorsey is not trying to follow in same pattern, because we are still in recovery from the musk effect.

The money Elon Musk made alone from BTC is enough to entice anyone who is his class to try and make his own profits if he/she sees a possibility that they can influence the market as well over time.

I don't know if it's real but many people says this telegram channel https://t.me/JackDorseyCoins is really owned by him. I'm following that telegram channel for a while now and he is promoting some shitcoin. If he reach the level of Elon Musk, promoting such shitcoins is not good for the crypto community. I can't find any social media account of him to verify if he does really own that channel. It currently has 28k followers and keeps increasing when the shitcoin promoted in that channel pumped a lot.
4617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any opinions about the "Stopelon" coin? on: June 15, 2021, 01:20:00 PM
Is this coin created under binance smart chain network? If so, then it is definitely a shitcoin. Many coins like that are created because of his influence in the cryptomarket, just like Elongate that got popular few months ago. They create a coin that is something related to him or his tweet to hype it. Some people especially newbies are buying a huge amount of this coin thinking that it would make them rich. They don't know it is just a pump and dump scheme. Only early buyers will benefit from those coins, when it starts to get being rug pulled many people will lose a lot of money that has no chance of recovering forever.
4618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Gas Fees Drop on: June 15, 2021, 12:17:08 PM
Gas fees really drop recently but did this only happen when the crypto market started dumping from their ATH. I remember when ethereum's price is at $4000, its fee is almost 200$. That is already a huge amount even for those who live in the US. Will the fee increase again once ethereum starts to rally again?

And since ethereum is the topic, can someone explain me in simple terms what will happen when eip 1559 is implemented? Does this something have to do with their high fees? I don't understand clearly what it says when I search about it on google.
4619  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you know when to sell? on: June 15, 2021, 11:24:50 AM
Does anyone have a good strategy for knowing when to sell?

Your selling price should be your own decision, I know that all of us want to sell at the ATH to maximize the profit but there is really no way to know that. If you are contented with your profit then you can sell that altcoin, don't regret even if it goes higher. Learn to control your emotion when you are getting greedy, just think of what will happen if you didn't sell and that altcoin starts dumping. There is no right time to sell, it is just our greediness that consumes us when the market is rallying.
4620  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Practical Advice For A Beginner Trader? on: June 15, 2021, 10:38:47 AM
Before you start trading, ask yourself first if you already know the fundamentals. Did you learn from your previous mistake? You can't just start trading again just for the reason of earning money, if you don't know how to read the charts and candlesticks properly, then basically you are just gambling. If you are confident to trade now with your own skill then you should start learn how to control your emotion when some people spread fuds, or someone that causes you to hesitate in following your trading plan.
