4601  Local / India / Re: Shocking - With a law, India plans lasting ban on cryptos on: June 17, 2020, 08:30:08 AM
@fiulpro

I think we all are getting a bit or more exaggerated about the future of crypto. Believe me, everyone here wants good things to happen to this sector in India but we are facing hurdles. Now have to keep patience and see how things unfold. One ban coming in does not mean the end of the world. Fact that it was appealed and then repealed makes it all the more obvious that there is a difference is opinion and soon enough change will come.

The news regarding crypto may just end up scaring people which is a bad thing - but I consider them as a "test" of belief. Your support for bitcoin and crypto is being tested here. You have nothing to lose here if your faith is clear in the future of crypto and I am very optimistic about its future. Very soon we might see a countering party for this ban.

Give it time and remember that change does not happen in a few years. It takes time and is a long time process. Patience is the key here.
4602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Interview with Stake.com CEO Reveals Plans for Tether Betting + New Games. on: June 17, 2020, 06:45:59 AM
This interview is nothing but a promotional topic. You guys understand why they approach big names in cryptos for interviews and not the other way round? Its because they want traffic to their site and above all the title is misleading.

Stake is not having plans for adding Tether. Of course it has been requested a lot of times to their staff to add stablecoins by none other than stablecoin shills but the final decision making does comes from the higher ups. When they are going to say something on interview, they will say something in a blanket manner which is what was done here.
4603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tricks and tips for esports betting on: June 17, 2020, 06:40:23 AM
e-sports for me is also unique because of electronic randomness. Speed of internet at any given time. The function of your keyboard and mouse even!
Ping and latency issues too. One of the reasons why Third world country users have suffered in online multiplayer games which need a quick response time and are unable to get a special ISP sponsorship for a leased line. So you can understand the similarity with the physical sports by the people who control them and e-sports. They cant practice with seasoned players as well.

These things will influence the way bets are made. If they are put on a world stage where the game is on LAN then the ping issue will be gone but they are less likely to have an edge. Still it can differ.
4604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Sometimes hunters are to be blame on: June 17, 2020, 06:31:44 AM
If they dont value much out of their effort and resources wasted then most of the time they wont really matter that much if they would get paid or not.
Thats where you are getting it wrong. They just want the money, at least most of them but they get really mad if they dont get paid even if they dont know a thing about what they are promoting.

ICO turns to be shit and same goes for the bounty hunting thing.
ICOs were born to be shitcoins. It was a failed concept but people jumped into the bandwagon due the hype effect and got ripped off. Without regulation and not being legal securities, tokens are worth nothing. But they did get swayed by the promise that those tokens would be next to bitcoin.  Cheesy

Quote
Its been said for how many times that it isnt feasible or worth anymore but there are still people who do still believe and hope.
Just like people who believe that bitcoin doubling services are legit and cloud mining is a legit thing, there will be people who join bounties and cry for not being paid anything.
4605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: People are complaining about airdrop/bounty earnings, something more profitable? on: June 17, 2020, 06:28:30 AM
I am trying to succeed in affiliate marketing, but it is one of the most difficult ways how to earn online. Especially when you don´t have a website with good traffic. There are so many cool tutorials on youtube, but even you follow every step, the result is pretty different than what they say in the videos.
It is not as easy as they make it sound on youtube.

If you are willing to start affiliate marketing you need to garner your own niche of products. It can be anything starting from cooking to casinos. You are going to post articles on a blog or videos on a channel to promote something and gradually start promoting products. It is not a easy thing to do and neither is it a get-rich-quick method.

You have to gather your own community and seek their interests. Then focus on making content for them and then start promoting the product you are trying to sell them. It is nowhere near easy.

However you can try posting about sports betting a blog and gradually gain a audience there. Post about promotions at times and hope they sign up with your referral link. Tempt them with giveaways and keep them together. In short it is not a side earning, rather a full time work.
4606  Economy / Lending / Re: I give out loans under surety on: June 16, 2020, 05:07:30 AM
To obtain a loan you will need an identity card \ passport and at least one surety.
And as soon as the borrower sends you those you are going to cut of communications and act like nothing happened, selling the identity or using it for more malicious uses.

Why dont you start by signing using an address that you control and contains approximately 5BTC so everyone knows that you are actually having those coins and not stolen again from somewhere?
4607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What casinos have forums? on: June 15, 2020, 02:34:41 PM
Well bitcointalk is the first forum that every cryptocurrency service provider (including casinos) will put up an ANN and then go over the build their own forum. Because the latter is not a easy thing to do, you also have to keep in mind the traffic coming to the forum or else you are going to have a dead forum.

So what they do is promote the casino on bitcointalk, reddit, telegram, discord and so on. They put up giveaways and promotions through them and slowly start a community and then move to a forum. Community development is very important for any site be it a casino or an exchange.

The "Trollbox" is an essential thing on any of these sites. Grin How many of you agree?
4608  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Body Of Control? on: June 15, 2020, 02:28:05 PM
Only cryptocurrency or single bitcoin will never be the single currency system of any country. If bitcoin is permitted to use, present system will also exist. We know, many countries have already permitted bitcoin to use and gradually this currency is enlarging its own place.
Both are existing. Some countries may ban its use but soon enough with pressure coming from other countries and their own people they will also allow crypto usage. The point is not that, but that bitcoin's dominance of world's economy is very small. The biggest portion is fiat.

Quote
With the development of cryptocurrency, blockchain technology is also developing day by day.
Blockchain is the technology behind bitcoin. It is not synonymous with bitcoin.

Quote
So, I think, when most of the countries will permit bitcoin, a controlling system of the countries will also be introduced in this blockchain technology.
The essence of bitcoin comes from its property of being decentralized and censorship-resistant. I dont know how a controlling body can be made.
4609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: So many new cryptocurrency exchange now, Are they safe to trade? on: June 15, 2020, 02:24:40 PM
It is a really important matter for traders. There are also many new cryptocurrency exchanges, But all of them are not safe for trade.
Often it is not a need that makes the person join and use an exchange. It is compulsion because they own a shitcoin that didnt get listed on a older well known exchange and got listed somewhere less known who again want new users to sign up and thus a low listing fee. That is a a part of the deal that the project owners often do to make sure they can list the coin at the earliest.

The bounty hunters are also taking the risk of using these exchanges and they are being forced to use them in a sense. But it all comes back down to hunting for the worthless coins. If they stop doing that, this useless trail of frustration will stop.
4610  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why not decentralized exchange..? on: June 15, 2020, 10:38:28 AM
Another shortfall of Dex is the low liquidity issue.
What about the trust issue? For a CEX at least you have a legal ground to fight for in case they turn to scam. But for a DEX, whom are you going to hunt for? The owners are anonymous and there is not country from where the DEX is registered. I dont know if things have changed about DEXes nowadays since I dont trade on them much but if it is still like that then the risk is there.

Because the crypto exchange system is completely unregulated just like crypto itself, we can see exorbitant listing fees (like Binance did), sudden exit scam of exchanges and so on.

But the thing is people want to buy and so these exchanges thrive. It is definitely a wild west type of thing.
4611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty- Waste of resources? on: June 15, 2020, 10:33:15 AM
It looks like so many people just try to blame the hunters based on the bad projects that have already gone but they never try to count how many successful projects that have already become a very big community.
Most investors who entered this sector did not even know that there were something called bounty hunters and people who took part in them got rewarded by the project owners for their efforts in promoting the project. You dont see it much for an IPO do you? Now the thing is that there is a difference between an equitysale and a tokensale. The latter is not recognized to be a legal security so the hunters are at risk of wasting their time for a shitcoin.

But not only the hunters are to blame, they are like a byproduct of the shitshow that these projects have done to the name of bitcoin.
4612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you know job/investment related to crypto that provide stable daily income? on: June 14, 2020, 10:24:53 AM
You cant just become a merchant overnight. Do you have any type of goods to sell? Any service that your run accepts bitcoin or thinking about accepting bitcoin as payment? In those cases it would be good.

About reversible money transfer systems like Paypal, you can get scammed using Paypal so you would need trade with trusted users only so as to reduce the chances of chargeback and money reversal scams. Overall it is something to avoid in general. However some users are doing such exchanges in the "Currency Exchange" section - which you can look into.

Regarding your 100$/day income - that equals to 3k $/month and this is a huge sum to accumulate just by freelancing. My previous signature campaign was approx 450$/month and that too is smaller than your sum so I doubt you can get something close to that unless you are having unimaginable skills or you are simply bluffing.
4613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Low allocation bounty pools pays easily? on: June 14, 2020, 10:17:38 AM
Still ,theres no guarantee that low allocation bounty pool will pay cause i joined a bounty before with low allocation and they said they will pay one week after the bounty ends ,untill bounty hunters were not paid.
In such cases do report these projects under "Scam Accusations" section of the forum. I know that bounty hunters under the terms and conditions that bounty may be withdrawn without prior notice but still filing a report there will at least save some other people from the frustration.

Of course it is a side effect of joing a bounty campaign - they are worthless tokens anyway so its better to move your view from them and move on with bitcoin as the main cryptocurrency to amass. We have new bitcoin signature campaigns coming up every few days and everyone should join those over any bounty campaign.

4614  Economy / Lending / Re: Loan request To cover some issues in our Projekt on: June 13, 2020, 12:15:44 PM
The 1,000,000 BTCSH it’s not as collateral it’s just to be sure that we give the money back
Right, so offer a shitcoin for what? Making it seem like you are offering a collateral. Well it is not a valid one IMO, but someone else might be interested. Generally speaking 120% of any of the top altcoins are accepted as valid collateral provided it is also exchanged on many exchanges with sufficient volume.

Quote
we can offer our personal ID if you are ready to help then it’s ok when not then thx
I can ask someone to make a thousand new IDs and they will be pretty much valid to authorities and not a legal document to sue someone. IDs are not accepted as collateral. You might get a better chance with local lenders then.  Roll Eyes
4615  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] TBC TRUSTED TOKEN Plagiarized Whitepaper on: June 13, 2020, 08:37:44 AM
It's true you said that they came up with a new account and launched the bounty again.
They wont try to link to the the account that is already negged because they know, but you should add it to the OP and update it with a date for simplicity and add a flag stating the reasons. Since they are promoting the same scam they need to be flagged to let the newbies know who they are dealing with.

But this hunt never ends. They keep making new accounts and repeating. So just keep updating the main post and bumping this thread here so people can see what is happening.
4616  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] TBC TRUSTED TOKEN Plagiarized Whitepaper on: June 12, 2020, 11:26:21 AM
@Crypto Promoter

Stop acting like a kid who got caught cheating with a book under their table for the test. Grin

If you have anything to say in order to defend yourself say it. Saying sorry does not reverse the plight of the people who were hopeful and joined these campaigns, even though warned several times. Lets hope no investor was a fool enough to take interest in these projects as well.

BTW, bounty hunters should be careful of blindly joining such campaigns by less known managers. But good luck trying to improve your reputation in this forum. I am sure you will be back with a new account.

4618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your recommended ways of gambling. on: June 12, 2020, 05:41:19 AM
OP, if you are willing to make some money from campaign payouts then you should reduce your gambling habits. But if you want to gamble regularly but still feeling a nick in the pocket, you need to make a budget of your gambling plays.

Try to keep a limit on how much you are depositing in a casino and keep a spreadsheet for everyday that you make profit or loss. By doing so you will gradually see how much you are losing and winning which may help you change your habits for the better. I am not saying gambling will be bad but at least you will get a better insight than just people tell you to reduce gambling.

Overall I feel that bitcoin is something that we should spend wisely and keep as investment for the long term. Still it is your money and you are free to use it as you wish.
4619  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tricks and tips for esports betting on: June 12, 2020, 05:33:59 AM
If you analyze the behavior on the btc stock exchange well and you know the mentality and psychology of people, you can make money. And I'm more of an analyst than a typical stock market
Then why are you posting here. This is a thread about sports betting and not stock market analysis.

If you say that both need analysis then I agree with you. Sports need a lot of homework from the gambler's part and keeping up with performances and game outcomes is not an easy thing to do everyday and provided the fact that any prediction that you might be a loss makes it even more repulsive.

It is important to seek out some games where most players dont bet in but it is not a guaranteed win trick. You need to know the game and the players. In e-sports this is tougher than a physical sport.
4620  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there a way to buy a Coursera course with Bitcoin? on: June 12, 2020, 05:25:45 AM
You can ask someone to buy it for you using credit card and pay them in bitcoin. Of course they need to be trustworthy of doing this proxy subscription for you.

I can see they accept most types of credit cards except Indian cards.

I dont know if Coursera subscriptions are locked to the device or the account. If it is locked to the account then the buyer would give you the login details and you could use it. If it is locked to the device then you are out of luck. Did you think of that yet, or is it not feasible there?

Is the course listed only on Coursera and nowhere else? Embarrassed
