Ah damn. Really wish could watch the game. Text updates evem reads interesting and I did predict two goals for Arsenal... Should never have doubted Ronaldo would score once he returned. Cherry on the top for me is Saka penalty, two in a row now since the EURO miss so chuffed for the kid!
Glimmer of hope for United or just delayed pain?

As noted by Boristhecat in my odds thread, BVB with almost 7/1 odds to win this match feels like a huge underestimation. The title belongs to Bayern so this really is not a game with much incentive to win. On their last game out Dortmund pushed about four teens I had never heard of and still won comfortably.
They will use this field to experiment even more. Should be a blast and pretty sure Dortmund will at least take the lead, if not end with 3 points.

Wish I could say I knew more about European football but I was in my late teens by the time I even knew my first exposure... English football and Liverpool. Everything I knew later was through Champions League and of course Milan was all I knew plus Juventus... And even then it was only mid 2000s when I could watch live games and it was rare to see Serie A.
By that time my impression was not good. My first exposure to constant offside and timewasting and simulation haha.

Anyway, check out the price... And just like that BTC was breaking above 42k with 45k looking to be a sure thing then out from nowhere somebody pushes it back down to 40k. Market is spooked and down it goes some more to 39k with 38k looking very likely. :/
Yeah mentioned yesterday these last few 40k breaks have puzzles me as have been expecting 38k and below to be easily done with repeated failure of 40k as support -- BUT we could also be underestimating the desire of bulls to be tested and relinquish 40k temporarily. One of the tightest ranges over one of the longest periods (relatively) this year so far, that's a proper tug of war but one guy just needs to lose their footing

Sorry for the terrible behaviour from me, not updating this until a week later, but you know how it is... Anyway, great Liverpool wins on both sides, I was confident we'd win, but was actually just as shocked at how easy it was. It was the second easiest game we've had this season, we did struggle a bit in second half is why it's not the easiest (5-0 Old Trafford 2nd half became a passing training). Who's up for an old-fashioned City defeat? 100 units at Sportsbet on Watford to WIN vs Manchester City @23.00. Other odds: 20.24 Units advantage: 276 There's also a Super Boost on Sportsbet -- United have never looked so poor, while Dortmund will be inspired to not let Bayern enjoy their title, so why not an Arsenal-BVB acca? 100 units on Arsenal and BVB to WIN @14.55. Other odds: 13.66 Units advantage: 89 Running advantage after 129 bets: +13987 (+365) All-time cumulative: +82,028 Running units after 127 bets (16W|111L): +1938 [+(243x5) +(199x5) = 1215+995 = 2210] Also reflected -1000 units from bet of 10th April

Big matches today, shame I'll miss most of it, as usual, real life things. Arsenal are favourites today against United, now when was the last time anyone remembers that happening? Form is form, class is permanent, surely Maguire, Pogba, Sancho on the teamsheet should light odds on fire? Heh heh heh
Go Watford!
@Welsh looking at Hammers resistance and Villa's poor run to continue? I've gone against both =D

If we say "god knows what will happen?" and just leave it at that, then how do we decide when to buy? We need to find some way to calculate it, it needs to be based on something otherwise it is just random purchases.
We don't. We leave it to... the calendar. Dollar cost average -- be it at the time you receive your salary, a time you decide to put away your disposable income, or a fixed day of each month -- takes away the guesswork and ensures you get an average price that's well below peaks (since Bitcoin spends the majority of its time between each ATH down rather than up). Enjoy life, build a career, focus on what you're good at or passionate about. DCA man.

Price of adoption, recognition, acceptance, acknowledgment, etc. Some things many say they want for Bitcoin. Would have been naive to expect less anonymity, and this was probably recognised early on (hence cryptocurrency alternatives that are actually aimed at maintaining and increasing anonymity).
I'm happy with private use, which, just like any other activity with desired increase in privacy, will require more deliberate use. To keep the state in check, always.
I'm okay with that.

So now we know Fulham are in and I would say Bournemouth (barring a late season crumble, as they've got a 2 game cushion against the rest and 7 points over Forest), who would you guys prefer to see win the playoff and promotion?
Seeing Rovers would be nice after a decade's absence (one of the first champions too) but while it'd be interesting to see the likes of Luton (relegated from First Division just before Premier League came out) or Milwall (only ever played 2 seasons in First Division) somehow come up, I just wonder if it's pointless (to be one of the whipping boys). Is that disrespectful to say?

Baseball?? Did not expected you to be a fan of that sport. I tried watching the game once or twice and it was boring as hell. I can watch NHL and NFL, those are great action packed sports and I can see myself getting hooked to them. NBA would probably be fine if I could stomach basketball but baseball is even worse than that. It is game invented to have as much as possible breaks to get food and beer Change my mind, anybody. Haha no, not at all, really. I have been trying to learn a bit about new sports every now and then, and followed Boston Red Sox a bit last season -- only because of promotions. There is a relation to football though, in my case. The same owners of Liverpool bought and transformed Red Sox, and followed some of the same principles in management and transfers (buying talent instead of stars as part of a rebuild, using statistics to find value in training and acquisition, and less reliance on individuals but total team strategy). Also a shared history... when they took over Red Sox, they hadn't won their title in decades... and finally won it soon after. Same thing happened, for many of the same reasons, once they took over Liverpool. Baseball is NOT as bad as cricket (to me). Cricket makes me want to cry.

True adoption is when you’re able to make use of your bitcoin for transactions easily and everywhere you go to. It’s not by having Bitcoin being mentioned on the TV and having banner being posted in front of one local store. And like you have said, that’s what a lot of people do see as an adoption, they think that they should be seeing the logo wherever they go to, but it doesn’t work that way. Adoption is having higher liquidity and easy to be used or spent wherever you are.
Just because it's easy to do something doesn't make it something people want to use or adopt. It's really easy to connect a wallet app now to any number of dapps online, but even with all the hype around 'defi', for example, it's still the plaything of several tens of thousands of people. That's a far cry from the millions of Bitcoin owners (I stop at saying users), and as this thread title suggests, we're still missing "mass adoption".

You know you're bored when trawling through specials and end up taking Super Boost on Sparta Rotterdam in Eredivisie... heh. Southampton crashed to another defeat last night, and that stumped me on some accas already... Burnley seems to be finding a way without Chris Wood. Saints have 5 games left to try and salvage Conference football, think they'll end on a high? Chelski been blaming the pitch for their home losses... huh?
I read on news they are now blaming coach and Cesar Azpilicueta for mistakes made in that match Maybe they can start blaming Bitcoin prices for creating anxiety among footballers. Or their fan token, or something heh.

^ Yeah, every failed attempt -- not to break any new resistance but rather, to maintain above support line -- either contributes to bull accumulation or confidence for the bears. Hate that I actually felt relief to see 42 today (I note also 20 April heh) but now it seems to be winding back down with North America up. This weekend is either key, or a rerun. Hoping it's key...

Well, woe is me, in all the excitement of past few weeks and crazy busy, I totally forgot to put in MLB outright for the new season -- Had BoSox last one over 50/1 IIRC. Now it's "only" 23/1 with a daily sports boost but I put a tenner on it anyway, their performance last season was typical underdog stuff... overperforming all the way to the playoffs and then running out of gas. Is anyone watching this crazy match at Stamford Bridge stadium with first half having both teams scored total of four goals!? Well done Arsenal for taking the lead two times, they just need to push more and take the scalp from home team, but even a draw would be nice result.
Watched City game instead, drab first half but ended up getting lucky early in second half to open the gates. I'm really pleased Arsenal won this, but probably even more pleased that Saka's back at penalties, and he converted this one. Good on Arteta to help him banish the demons of EURO... more than 9 months ago (how time flies). Chelski been blaming the pitch for their home losses... huh?

L.O.L. Salernitana popped up and won, now they do have a game in hand to crawl above the bottom heap and maybe not get relegated. Early way for me to knock out my shitty bets today, time to double down on English games and hope I don't wash out again.
So much for "safe" picks this round huh.
Go take a punt on our free bet challenge, I feel like it is time for you or me to win some freebies This time we have Serie A only games since La Liga is not playing on Sunday, don't know why, maybe league cup. But we have two nice derby games with Inter -Roma and Lazio - Milan so I don't think anybody will complain. Already done, and thank you as usual. I'm getting more and more busy these days with different things (for a change, it used to be more studies and I finished it finally last week but now weirdly enough more other real life things came up) and if I were doing that challenge, I'd definitely forget it a lot. Definitely not complaining. Actually apart from Liverpool and City in EPL now, I'm finding Serie A games like these more interesting (as that's still a wide open top 4 race). @morvillz7z I have been seeing Salernitana as safe pick against, as odds are still over 1.5 on them but yeah, you know, random shit. But I agree. Don't play too fancy in these last few rounds, if it seems too tight, go for the draw. My strat anyway.

Too make it even worse, Benzema actually missed two penalties yesterday. I guess even he can have a day off. He will score when it is important. These games when result is in Real favor are not the ones he excells in I am sure he would have scored if Real was loosing. Good. Get all the bad juju out of his system so he can't miss against Ederson. If that's the extent of his day off, I'm more than happy to oblige. Like you said, eh, big game player. I'm already considering another big dump on Real (worked a treat against Chelsea) and happy to see the odds for them against City is so far already above 6/1. Love those odds!
