4621  Economy / Reputation / Re: A threat to paint me and cheat me out of money ses-store. on: July 23, 2020, 08:45:26 AM
An accusation with Telegram screenshots is too weak. Deal with forum PM so there will be strong evidence if someone tries to scam you. We can't judge anything based on telegram chat history. It would be edited or impersonated. Someone easily could create a fake chat history about me or could create a similar username. If @ses-store threaten you on forum PM then we would able to punish him/her. Otherwise, it's not reasonable to punish someone on the forum due to Telegram chat.

By the way, always try to use forum trusted escrow when you are going to deal with someone even forum users. So you might avoid unwanted scam attempts.
4622  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoins stuck in wallet? (moved post here) on: July 22, 2020, 04:30:42 PM
I have answered most of your questions on your previous thread. Please help us with more information to identify your problems like bitcoin address or transaction id if you don't have problems with your privacy. If your transaction completed on coinabse then there should be transaction id which will provide accurate data regarding your problems. Since Bitwallet is a custodial wallet so most likely they have their system to accept bitcoin, who knows how much confirmation required to deposit on your account. As far as I know, they have a few bad reviews on Google Play Store. Few similar problems happen with them. You might put a review there about problems. Hope it will be solved soon.

Please lock your previous thread to avoid deletion.
4623  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Bitcoin True Plagiarized Whitepaper on: July 22, 2020, 03:39:19 PM
Seems immediate red flags here. I am not sure if the team (scammer) is stupid or they have been trying to make us stupid. Because use fake team and plagiarized whitepaper are an immediate scam alert. Most likely they just bought a template in $20 and start a project. Glad to see that our community is active enough to spot such as scammers and prevent users from scams. The OP should edit the title about "Fake Team", so it will be easier to realize what is inside the post.

Supported flags & tagged as well. OP & others who have reported about fake team done a great job. Keep it up guys, it's really appreciated.
4624  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoins stuck in wallet? on: July 22, 2020, 08:33:50 AM
other one is Segwit-P2SH, I don't know what these mean..
That means your address is Nested SegWit starting with '3', if you aren't aware of address type then please read this article, Bitcoin Addresses: Legacy vs SegWit. To make sure please check your address or transaction id on Blockchair.

Anyway, there shouldn't any problems with coinbase since they support both types of addresses. Did you check the transaction status on the coinbase? Is it completed?

I am not much familiar with Bitwallet, but if I am not wrong this is a custodial wallet and will not allow you to create transactions with unconfirmed inputs.

Please try to choose a non-custodial wallet where all the controls will be with you.

How many fees have you sett for both transactions?
OP said he made transactions from Coinbase. It does mean there are no such as the opportunity to set transaction fees in manually.
4625  Other / Beginners & Help / What is the required confirmation of bitcoin transactions? Read to know! on: July 22, 2020, 07:47:31 AM
I don't know how much from us have read Bitcoin official community website. Perhaps we are lazy or don't have enough time to acquire basic knowledge. We know about bitcoin transaction confirmation, but I think we don't know there was an explanation on Bitcoin.org website. Even I just noticed now when I was searching for something else. That's why wondered to share with you, especially those who are newbies. I believe everyone from newbies should read this article, Some things you need to know. Here I found the information that how much confirmation for bitcoin transactions is safe. The chart is below.

4626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are IPs stored in the blockchain? on: July 22, 2020, 07:29:01 AM
Blockchain itself doesn't store any IP address for bitcoin transactions. But your IP address would be exposed or can be logged in some other way. You may read this question made on Bitcoin Stack Exchange, How do I see the IP address of a bitcoin transaction? There is some information which would be helpful for you.

Read more on Your IP address can be logged

Quote here,
Because the Bitcoin network is a peer-to-peer network, it is possible to listen for transactions' relays and log their IP addresses. Full node clients relay all users' transactions just like their own. This means that finding the source of any particular transaction can be difficult and any Bitcoin node can be mistaken as the source of a transaction when they are not. You might want to consider hiding your computer's IP address with a tool like Tor so that it cannot be logged.

4627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Allegedly Coinbase prevented 1,000 customers From Sending Funds to the Hackers on: July 21, 2020, 05:24:41 PM
To be honest, I had noticed from coinbase warning about the Twitter hack. When saw the warning notice on coinbase then I enter the forum to read more and realized there are going something suspicious. I have been using coinbase to sell my bitcoin locally since there are no fees. But handle only a small amount for a small-time. So I could say that was a great decision by the coinbase team to prevent their users from scammers. Warning popups & block transactions were real-time actions. Hope other exchange will follow the same thing in the near future if anything happens like this. Whoever controlling their fund via non-custodial wallet, usually they are enough clever and should be able to detect generic scams. Otherwise, no one could save them.
4628  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the "Patrol" page? How to enable it? on: July 20, 2020, 02:54:00 PM
I don’t expect though many beginners to use this feature, and they probably shouldn’t until they grasp the forum culture to a certain degree.
I know usually newbies will not visit Patrol page, but at least when they become member rank they could use it if they like. I have seen that sometimes new users try to contribute themselves to the forum. So hope this thread would help them to learn and they would apply in near future. Because today's newbie will be Legendary tomorrow.

I would suggest that nobody uses the native Patrol link, and as a bare minimum uses this one instead: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=recent;patrol;nobounty. This filters out all the bounty spam, which makes up at least 50% of all newbie posts on the forum.
Yes, that would be nice. But let them learn first before use advanced features.

Images in OP are too large and Coolcryptovator should resize them, then (if needed) use the width option in img blocks.
Corrected & thanks. Your quote added to the OP as well to get it easier.
4629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Roger Ver Says Twitter Blocking His Tweets About BCH on: July 20, 2020, 02:39:11 PM
Interesting! It seems I can post with bitcoin cash (BCH) hashtag including be dot com website link. So why Roger unable to Tweets? Most likely it's because of the limit of services. But I was unable to stop my laugh during reading replies. Most of the people saying BCH scam LOL.  Anyway, it's a stupid attempt by Roger to make complain, because he should know very well some accounts turned limited due to recent hack. At least he is unable to advertise his shit for some days.
4630  Other / Beginners & Help / What is the "Patrol" page? How to enable it? on: July 20, 2020, 09:29:24 AM
I have searched about patrol on Beginners & Help section, but hadn't found the appropriate thread. So I decided to write about it (never mind if there is an existing similar thread, remind good things aren't bad).
I believe old members know about Patrol, but likely most of the newbies don't know about patrol and what is the use of it. So this thread will describe patrol and newbies would learn to help the forum.

What is Patrol?
I believe some of you may realize what is Patrol when clicking the above hyperlink. This is a page containing 200 most recent posts made by brand new & newbies accounts only. Higher than newbies post will never reflect there.

What is the use of Patrol?
There are no special uses of the Patrol page, but it's very useful & easy to spot bots, spam posts, phishing links posters, and rules breaker. Brand new/newbie accounts frequently not familiar with forum rules. So if you want to help prevent spam, then the Patrol page is for you to make it easier. For example, someone made a post with phishing links, you can report to the moderators to remove that links and save forum users.

How to report?
There is a thread creates by Welsh where you will find A2Z report guidelines, read it here; [Guide] Reporting effectively.

How to enable Patrol page?
You may add the Patrol page under "watchlist" on the forum homepage. So it will look like the below image.

*To enable this option you have to click on your "Profile" then you will find an option upper left called Forum Profile Information. Click on it.

*Then you have to tik mark () on Show patrol link.

Done.

Hope it will useful for you guys who intent to help forum by preventing spam.

4631  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Localbitcoins or Paxful Script on: July 19, 2020, 02:56:55 PM
I don't think you will able to find a direct script like LocalBitcoins or Paxful. I am not a tech guy but most likely they customize peer to peer exchange script. I believe that script would find easily or you may ask on the forum service section to buy such as script or you may take a look at marketplace like Fiverr. Instead of Localbitcoin & Paxful, I would like to suggest follow LocalCryptos. They are more advanced and popular as well. Perhaps you may gain market easily in your country when you will provide non-custodial wallet service on your exchange. Anyway, best wishes for your platform.
4632  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newcomer in this forum on: July 19, 2020, 12:08:35 PM
Welcome to the forum. Good to see that you want to contribute yourself for forum and want to learn from here as well. Listen! When you need something to know you will find related sections/board here. Board name itself described what you will find there like you are on Beginner & Help section and you will find related threads here. Beside that, before you raise new questions or thread, please use the forum search button. So you may get an appropriate thread or answer related your question. This way you may get your answers and help prevent spam from forum. Better if you read some threads provided by other users, it would help you to gain more knowledge.
4633  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to calculate the price of my new coin? on: July 19, 2020, 11:53:18 AM
Regarding your price question, I have another question. Are you asking about initial price or trading price? If it's about initial price, then its depend on you. If you are going to distribute your token (since it's on an Ethereum block chain) then you have placed price into a smart contract (on codes). If you are going to distribute via your website then you are able to place or edit price on the website, then not necessary include pricing on smart contract (on codes). If you are asking price during trading, then totally depends on traders, exchange, volume, circulation supply, total supply and community. You can't handle price after release tokens and after listed on the exchange.

Total supply should fix in the smart contract (on codes). It's depend on you how much will you deploy. Circulation supply depends on sale and trading's. Listing price depend on the exchange, if you choose worst exchange then it would be 0.5BTC or if you choose high reputed exchange then it would be 50BTC as well. Of course, you should have a potential concept in order to get listed on reputed exchange.
4634  Economy / Reputation / Re: [self-moderated] Report unmerited good posts to Merit Source on: July 19, 2020, 09:12:14 AM
I think this thread hasn't received enough merits and deserve more. I don't have enough merits at the moments, other merit source would take a look.

4635  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Payment gateway using Electrum ? on: July 19, 2020, 09:00:23 AM
Yes, Electrum could be use as a payment processor as already said by @OmegaStarScream. But since we don't know about your business or what you are going to sell and how large it, so I will suggest to read this thread where you will get multiple option, List - Bitcoin Payment Processors. From the list, I preferred for BTCPayServer as already said by multiple users. Otherwise, you may choose an appropriate payment getaway from there. Try to choose any non-custodial wallet for your safety.
4636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if you knew Huobi's private key? on: July 19, 2020, 05:44:58 AM
For me, I can't imagine what I am unable to do ever. It's impossible to assume private key of Houbi's cold wallet. Personally, I believe most of big exchange are using the multising cold wallet. So even you assume single private key, then you will not able to transfer funds alone. However, if in case someone able to hack this wallet, then bitcoin price would fall due to FUD. But believe it will never happen.

I am wondering are there any block explorer or anything that we could check the address if its multising? I am not a tech guy so I am unable to use any script.
4637  Economy / Exchanges / Re: buying cryptocurrencies from Hawaii on: July 19, 2020, 03:25:30 AM
Hello OP, seems you have created another thread about the same subject. You don't need to create multiple thread about the same thing, it's against forum rules. Anyway, you mean you are living is Hawaii (island) which is belongs to US? So there are lots of platforms from where you will able to buy bitcoin. But I will suggest to buy bitcoin peer to peer from the forum currency exchange section by using trusted escrow. So you will be safe and you might avoid unnecessary problems about KYC and save fees as well. Otherwise, you may use Binance & Coinbase, but perhaps you have to verify your KYC multiple times since they use simplex to buy bitcoin.
4638  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] bitlexi.com on: July 18, 2020, 05:57:29 PM
The template of website well known to me. They are obvious scammer. Likely they will ask you to make a deposit in order to withdraw your bonuses or something else. Just ignore them, don't send any money to scammers.

Try to always keep in your mind, if any website offer you free money somehow and then ask for make deposit in order to withdraw that fund, they are obvious scammers. Don't deal with them and stay safe.
4639  Economy / Reputation / Re: @theymos: False allegations made against theymos and BCT forum - by Vispilio on: July 18, 2020, 05:31:42 PM
I always try to avoid troll. Feeding trolls will encourage more trolls. I wouldn't agree with his statement at any cost. Theymos no need to prove that he isn't controlled by any bosses or bitcointalk has been sold or not to any company. We know what is the reality here. Honestly, if theymos was controlled by bosses or heard other users, then supposed to be banned such as troll users. But seems nothing happening with trollers because of freedom of speech.
4640  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn Bitcoin from this forum?? on: July 18, 2020, 05:18:33 PM
Quite surprising! Are you newbies? But your registration date (October 14, 2017) saying that you are a senior user than me. Isn't it? Your post history saying you are earning from the forum beginning of join. I am assuming this account change hand or hacked, but really don't know to the benefits of change hand of newbie account.

Anyway, if you intent is to earn from here, then you are at the wrong place. Likely you have a wrong information, this forum isn't any earning platform. So you can't expect any money from the forum.
