4621  Economy / Gambling / Re: Pokertime - deposit/withdraw crypto to play poker on: June 30, 2020, 08:57:12 PM
Pokertime.cc

Maybe that's the site as OP also mentioned CNY which I assume the Chinese Yuan Renminbi.

Looking at the site, there are no links to either FAQ, terms, etc. Only the download link is available and it's only available in Android and IoS, no desktop version. There was also no link to their social media or any community platform to somehow served a reference for us about the app.

I'm not saying that they are untrustworthy but it's an obvious thing to refrain using an app that doesn't establish yet good reviews.
4622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think eSport gambling will become more popular than normal Sport betting? on: June 30, 2020, 08:35:18 PM

Sports betting will always be popular. It's just that during the pandemic virus, obviously, only few sports are open for betting and that's the reason the number of betting is declined. If the situation got back to normal (after the new normal), it will now back again on their usual track.

Esports is no doubt on-trend and the fact that it was now included as one of the sports events, ASIAN games, for example, then we can say that the industry is now getting bigger.

Now going back to subject, it will become more popular than normal sports betting? What's the basis of popularity? The number of bets? I'm a E-sports enthusiast and I know how to play most of their games, also joining a mini-tournament but they only became trendy "mostly" on gamers and on those people who have knowledge about the game. Sports betting covered mostly all audiences and gamblers with different preferences so I can say they will always be popular for more years to come.

Bottom line, no need to compare their popularity. E-Sports obviously only covered few games while usual sports betting covered most sports in general.
4623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just me or there are others who have same thoughts? on: June 30, 2020, 08:16:44 PM
Is it just me or others think same way? I mean are listed bounties intentionally using bounty campaigns to create hype and before the bounty is over they dump part the tokens making it lose value and make bounty hunters share what's left??? I'm kinda confused with bounty projects that are trading

The main purpose of a bounty is to spread awareness about the project.

And since you talked about currently "listed", dumping can't be avoided. But in the first place, does it really create hype during the campaign?

What token are you pointing to? Maybe I can give you a much better insight.
4624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 30, 2020, 07:58:30 PM
Some updates poppin here.

Kawhi and Kobe for the legend edition, anyone? Cheesy

Not against Dame but Kawhi should be the cover for NBA 2k21 for me.

Then Kobe Bryant for Legend Edition for an obvious reason. Smiley

No ETA for the release (or I just missed it) but if the usual release date will follow, it should be by October or November disregarding the pandemic status*.

4625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [LIST] PVP Games Casino You Can Try on: June 30, 2020, 07:27:02 PM
To be honest, the graphic game was not really good and could be the same MMORPG publish on 2000-2010.

Exactly if we are now used to play on the latest graphics of RPG's today. That's why I compared it to Diablo II. A game that popular in 2000's.

I tried also the High Definition version but I don't see any improvement in the game graphics. The game isn't detected too on my video card settings so Global Settings can't be applied. The gameplay is not smooth and yes, laggy. Just imagine how smooth GTAV in my desktop then this game is not lol.

Again for me, the game is more on a usual classic RPG compare to the crypto-earning game. Well then, I hope the game will be a success. It has potential if they can manage to gather lots of players. They claimed their discord community is large but I didn't check it yet.
4626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is This True or Scam? on: June 30, 2020, 07:08:00 PM

It's 2020 now and no need to do some background check to determined that the site is a scam.

And guess what, I tried to copy some of the written on the site and it's automatically copied their generated address.

"DON'T COPY ANYTHING TO THE SITE".

If ever, by any chance, you copy some words, just copy another letter, number, or words on other web pages.
4627  Economy / Gambling / Re: List of some gambling sites I play and trust. on: June 30, 2020, 06:43:57 PM

Work on organizing your page properly. It's not wrong to share your referral link there as that was common when sharing a blog. However, you need to provide a description of each site. Then after that, also include your own review.

Well then, lots of rooms to be improved, OP. Work for it. Cool

For others, we all know obviously what's lacking. Just tell OP what to do. Smiley
4628  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tagz exchange already surrendering on: June 30, 2020, 01:04:40 PM
As I see it, TAGZ is 100% not trustworthy.

But still, good thing they didn't do some sh*t and just get away without a trace.

I do agree though that 30 days is short. Sometimes, registered users are not aware by several weeks or even a month about what's happening on some trading platforms that they have active funds.

I do hope TAGZ will send a regular notification email to all their users and not just a single email about the closure.

4629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [LIST] PVP Games Casino You Can Try on: June 30, 2020, 12:47:52 PM
Is it safe to install?
I'm just a lazy to install a software that isn't came from authorized/trusted store.

Yes, 100% safe no worries.

The download file is around 800MB but when installed, it will be around 3GB in size. Cheesy

Just be sure to download in on the main site: https://satoshibattles.com/download

By the description on their site. It's somehow similar to those popular bankroll casino investment, but precisely they are some kinda little different were your profit is percentage (%) fixed and would increase monthly basis if you just don't withdraw your bankroll.

Yes, that's why for now, I will play the game first in moderate mode. If I'm not mistaken, the investment part is a new feature. I didn't see this feature before or to be exact just a few days ago.

Minimum BTC0.02 deposit is also not a user-friendly amount for average users. The good thing however is, the game is Free-To-Play.
4630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 30, 2020, 12:30:49 PM
The Classic Benjie, he was really good during his prime, I heard his name but I was not able to follow his games.
Who do you think is the better, the Father Benjie or the son KOBE Paras? Maybe it's hard to compare them since Kobe was not in the PBA yet.  Grin

Shell is one of the popular teams in PBA way back the 90's. I was able to watch some of their games (on TV) as my family is an enthusiast of PBA although Shell is not their favorite team. Ginebra and Purefoods is our family's favorite team back then but I'm not a fan of any team as I mostly admired the players itself.

Anyways, SMB Coach Leo Austria is also a part of the Shell roster. Cool

Who's better between Benjie and Kobe? They have a different position that's why we can't compare it. But one thing I can say, Kobe Paras is more athletic compare to his father on his age, obviously, as a Small Forward. Benjie Paras on the other hand has a better basketball IQ and led Shell to the number of championships. He is also way more athletic compare to other centers on his time and has a great leaping ability. The talent that Kobe inherited alongside the height.

*Benjie Paras is playing the center position at the height of 6'6"
*Kobe Paras is playing the small forward position at the height of 6'6"

The reason they have different playing styles. But with continuous development, stats-wise, Kobe may able to surpass his father. But in achievements, he needs to be drafted in PBA.
4631  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I have a plan of teaching college students in my neighborhood Bitcoin on: June 30, 2020, 12:08:18 PM
I made a lesson plan yesterday and I would be teaching final year students approaching graduation in my neighborhood about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general and career opportunities involved in the discussion as soon as the lockdown is lifted.

You can as well suggest topics I can cover time to time. I will be dedicating 3 weeks for the campaign. I hope to update the forum about the development too.

The fact that you want to teach about crypto, I'm sure you already know what to cover starting from basic to advanced.

As a side subject, try to cover the safety and ways to avoid scams. Put on their mind that there's no overnight profit in crypto and there's no such thing as a quick-rich scheme. Tell them also the time where Bitcoin experience a hard dump so that they will know the risks and not just being positive.

In that way, we can see if they will still interested to know more about crypto even knowing how risky putting money on crypto is.
4632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [LIST] PVP Games Casino You Can Try on: June 30, 2020, 06:18:33 AM

Started playing the SatoshiBattle last weekend and here's my quick review:

- Players can choose to play to either, Standard Definition or High Definition (played both but I don't see any difference with SD and HD lol).
- There's a game server now that isn't a test server named "Light". I just don't know how long it was now since being added to the list.
- I also noticed that their website now changed since my last visit on Sunday. There are now lots to see in the Control Panel.
- There are free upgraded items but can only be worn at Level 100. I wasn't able to explore the basics at early level since I used an experience potion that jumped my level to 36 lol.
- For now, it's more of a usual RPG to me rather than a crypto-related game. The graphics can be compared to Blizzard's Diablo II and it's Expansion mode.
- Still exploring the "investment" part of the game - https://satoshibattles.com/invest.

IMO, if someone put a link on where we can play 8ball pool game with bets, then it is good. There are a lot of gamblers like me who are suggesting to make an 8ball pool gambling game or giving us a link where we can play it because we want it so bad. That is another sort of skill-based gambling game where we can enjoy competing with other people.

There is before: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=962358.0

I'm honestly thinking of starting the 8-ball pool tournament since I'm having a hard time forming a tournament in my Mobile Legends Gambling. You can take a look here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5185853.msg52705315#msg52705315

I didn't create a separate thread because of only a few shown interest. Smiley

4633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Created an app to promote ₿itcoin on: June 30, 2020, 05:51:16 AM
No offense, but I feel like having an app is unnecessary in this case. You could achieve the same goal with just having a website. Of course though, I totally understand if you actually did this also to learn to develop apps.

But anyway, best of luck!

I have to agree with this. No offense too.

Even more people nowadays mostly use their phones, let's face it "in general", we all know they are not into installing random apps without a use-case or those apps that will not give advantages to them such as payment apps, banking apps, camera apps, social media apps and many more.

A website is way more have chances to visit by these people as part of promoting crypto.

An interesting content aside from explaining the basics of crypto is necessary if OP wants to push the app to a higher level step by step.

I admire the effort and I want to say best of luck! I will surely install this app to support you.

BTW, in my country, this is one of the best ways to inform the youth about it. Just that I have to make it more interesting.

I appreciate the effort.

Best of luck Chris!
4634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: June 30, 2020, 05:28:34 AM
Oh man. What an unfortunate news for Brooklyn Nets team and fans out there.

Nets' DeAndre Jordan tests positive for coronavirus, will not join team at Disney

They are already short-handed this season so I think it's better not to push for the goal. So unfortunate and they have nothing to do.

But the good thing is, their remaining players will able to test their skills without their main gunners at the playoffs if they can able to maintain their current W/L record.

Prepare and come back next season as a newly improved team now that their star players will now play.

Nuggets have mathematical chance at 1 seed in Western Conference

"Denver also has a mathematical chance at the No. 1 seed out West – but would need to go 8-0 and have the Lakers go 0-8 for that to happen"

I will give a 0% chance for this to happen.
4635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: People are complaining about airdrop/bounty earnings, something more profitable? on: June 30, 2020, 04:39:16 AM
In this current situation you need some sort of skill or talent in order to be able to earn some decent amount in crypto or USD.

Or just focus on their main forte and own skill be it outside on crypto.

In that way, they will be more comfortable with their work. Not really necessary to find a work that pays crypto in general since no doubt, it's difficult to found nowadays even skilled ones.

And if they were able to save some extra bucks out of their salary, they can use that to buy crypto then that's the start of their accumulation purpose.
4636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 30, 2020, 03:48:24 AM
Maybe this position opens up as they waive coach TAB, am I right?

As per the article, they made it clear that the exit of Baldwin has nothing to do with De Ocampo's arrival.

They are in talks with RDO even before the Baldwin's issue so I think he will be supposed to work with Baldwin as part of the staff.

But unfortunately, that won't happen anymore. Anyhow, RDO is a long-time Ka-Tropa and surely will help the team in any aspects. A stepping stone to his future coaching career if push through.
4637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Alert] Scam attempt in the name of gambling house and moderator on: June 30, 2020, 02:44:41 AM

But still, you entertain the chat, right? This to show that even experienced one still taking chances.

Thanks for the heads-up!

As soon as I read the "The minimum amount to deposit is $100" on their FAQ - no way I will use the site even how legit they are. Not that they are a scam but the minimum deposit is too way high. That reason alone will make gamblers not to consider using the site. They are really in a rush to earn more from deposits.
4638  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A trading chart does not play out to 100% on: June 30, 2020, 02:29:42 AM
I couldn't agree more, charts are not always acurate when it comes with reading of cryptocurrency because many factors contributes to the price movement of a coin with major focuss on the force of demand and supply

That's a wrong impression about the trading chart. Charts will never tell you the accurate thing to happen but the "possible" thing that might happen.

Charts are useful because it will show you exactly the current activity at a given trend. Because of that, it will serve as a good reference on what to do next by drawing the possible outcome. It served a purpose.

It's obvious that there are other factors that affect the price movement so rely on those factors too as much as possible aside from chart readings.
4639  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Overcome and Handle Your Mistakes in Trading? on: June 30, 2020, 02:11:59 AM
Overcoming mistakes in trading is a very easy thing to do, the first thing you need to do is identify the mistakes; accept and admit the fault on your side; develop a solution to the mistakes; fix the mistake and master that act such that it does not repeat itself anylonger.

Easier been said than done. It's not as easy as you think. If it does, we should see fewer traders now losing their position.

Mistakes are normal and even the top, best, good, experienced, and professional traders still experiencing mistakes today. Even a trader knows it's a mistake to do "something" they will still proceed because they want a better return.

Risk-management is the key. It's fine for me to push for an obvious mistake by any chance "as long as I understand the risks".
4640  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to recognize a scam on: June 26, 2020, 02:14:47 AM
Hi guys, I wanted to seek advice on how to recognize scams and avoid them on this forum. How do I determine if something is trustworthy or not? By this I mean any kinds of offers, campaigns, or deals with other users.

There are discussions before related to your subject so if you have some time, you can freely browse at these threads to feed your mind and add some knowledge.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3518451.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5169646.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4687975.0

Using our common sense is the key to avoid scam but there are really times that even an experienced will fall on the trap.

As much as possible, Always DYOR = Do Your Own Research before dealing in any site. Make a habit to search for any reviews before using a site especially when money is involved.
