As he is 28 years old I expect to see him being very beneficial for a few years. I have a feeling like he will start performing much better at Roma and both sides will be contented with each other. Roma have made four signings already and only one of them wasn't a free transfer. They spent only 7 million euros which were for Zeki Celik from Lille. I expect to see more signings in the coming days.
Maybe it's a good deal for AS Roma, but it doesn't look so good for Dybala. Because Dybala's salary at Rome is actually lower than the salary he got at Juventus, the reason Dybala did not renew his contract at Juventus was because Dybala wanted to get a higher salary but this desire did not materialize. For that reason, I don't think Dybala is very happy playing at Roma because he basically doesn't have a club after his contract expired at Juventus at the end of June and Roma are the only team that still wants to sign Dybala and no other club. So yes, for that reason this deal is good for Roma themselves and not for Dybala, which is a shame. I don't know. I just think that he must be happy because it was his choice to sign for Roma in the end. He didn't have any team that could affect his deal to Roma. You might be right about the salary topic by the way. But he wasn't performing very effectively at Juventus so I think that it is better for him to leave the team as I said before. If he starts performing better at Roma then his happiness level would increase certainly. It wouldn't be difficult for him to be a regular starting eleven player in that case. |

Juventus didn't have much difficulty in bringing a new centre-back after de Ligt's departure. They have signed Bremer from Torino for around 40 million euros. They are still in profit by the way as far as I know because they must have sold de Ligt for 80 million euros with add-ons. They can even make another transfer by using the extra money left. When it comes to that maybe they could sign a striker as Dybala has left the team. However I would go for a left winger as I don't like the options in the squad currently.

Although Mane isn’t a like-for-like option but I am convinced that he is going to score many goals and almost replace Lewandoski. He might be deployed as a speedy target man, something similar to Jamie Vardy at Leicester City and Kylian Mbappé at PSG. Mane has proven that he can score from all over the pitch, with his decisiveness in front of goal from wherever he operates. So I strongly believe that he can excel as a no. 9, and there is little or no doubt that he'd be great at the job in Lewandoski’s absence.
Bayern Munich are interested in bringing Harry Kane for his place but I don't expect this deal to happen. There isn't any reason for Harry Kane to leave his team now and I don't have an expectation from the team to let him go too. Mbappe isn't leaving the team anytime soon. Jamie Vardy is a good striker really but I don't think that Bayern Munich will think of signing him either. But maybe he could still be one of the last alternatives. I see no meaning for Manchester City to trade Bernardo Silva in return for Neymar now. Bernardo Silva is already a solid player for the team. His performance is still at a satisfying level. Chelsea seem to be close about finishing up the deal of Jules Kounde. I have heard that they are going to pay more than 50 million pounds for this signing. I think that he is worth that much money as he can consolidate Chelsea's defense even more. They have already brought Koulibaly and with this transfer their defense line is going to be completed fully. After this deal I'm wondering when they are going to start looking for a solid centre-forward as well.

Depay didn't have a bad performance last season. He was pretty good actually. However there are still some disagreements between him and the team as far as I can see. Barcelona are ready to sell him as long as they find a proper offer for him. That offer might have come from Tottenham according to the recent rumours. It is very difficult to buy a player from Spurs, especially one that they do not want to let go of, and still has a contract with them, i have seen it happen, they know how to drag the transfer discussions, and table exorbitant asking fee from the club that wants the player. Spurs did this same thing to City last summer when they were chasing Harry Kane, and thus i believe it is going to be very difficult for Bayern to sign Kane, except the player forces a move, and doesn't care at all about a fall out with the club and its fans. Lewandowski has moved to Barca, so it is quite normal that Bayern will need a replacement, they have got Mane, but i am pretty sure they will want to play him from either the right or left side of their attack, rather than from the middle, Kane is a perfect replacement for Lewandowski, and it is a team he can win absolutely any trophy; but i am pretty sure Spurs will once again stand in his way of an exit. Yeah I also don't think that Harry Kane is going to prefer a move outside Tottenham right now. These are just rumours of course but Bayern Munich's interest might be real. However this wouldn't change anything as long as Harry Kane doesn't want to leave. When it comes to Mane, Bayern Munich would definitely prefer to use him as a left winger now. Bayern Munich's top target is Harry Kane now. I was wondering who they were thinking of after selling Lewandowski and I have finally found out about it. He is worth 90 million euros in the market and has a contract running until 2024. He is happy at his current club as well. Considering all of these factors I don't expect this deal to happen. Maybe there might be a slight possibility for it to happen but Bayern Munich might need to be prepared to sacrifice at least 100 million euros.

It is time for the French GP this weekend. It is a track that Lewis Hamilton dominated in the last two races. Mercedes are getting stronger now as well but they still need time to reach the level of Red Bull and Ferrari both. Hamilton must just get very lucky to be able to win again. Unless there is any surprise I expect a rivalry between Verstappen and Leclerc as usual. Verstappen would like to have his revenge after the Austria GP. Roma can steal Dybala from the hands of other interested teams any time. I'm even surprised about his waiting as free agent for this long. Roma are the most serious contender to sign him and I don't expect Dybala to create any problem about this deal. He can find a big opportunity to reshine at Roma. He is having his most productive ages in fact and he must play as much as possible to take advantage of it. He is still a quite skilled striker in the end. I will be wondering how he will react if he gets an offer from the Premier League for example as well.

Real Madrid are obviously the favourite team to win the La Liga title indeed. However Barcelona have improved their performance too much in the recent times. Xavi is doing a wonderful job and I expect them to carry this performance to next season as well. With the addition of Lewandowski they are going to be very deadly at attacking. I would like you to remember one thing especially too that Barcelona destroyed Real Madrid in Santiago Bernabeu in Xavi's lead. Hence I hope to see a competitive season this time.
I don't think that Real madrid will be "obviously" the favourite team. Barcelona has made great improvement, and I guess that the next year Barcelona will be the next winner of la Liga, Real madrid will not repeat his performance of this year, considering also that this year the strongest team of La liga were in a particular phase. We never know about whether they will be able to repeat their huge performance next season as well. As long as Ancelotti manages the team this is very possible. I expect to see a solid performance from them again. It is going to be up to Barcelona not to get away from them in the standings. As you said they have made improvement compared to the past and we will see if they will manage to keep it up. Lewandowski's performance can be even the most important factor for their success. |

Chelsea might have lost their opportunity to sign Kimpembe already now. Because their offer is way below the value PSG demand from them now. Chelsea are said to have offered 40 million pounds while PSG are demanding 55 million pounds. Chelsea can go up to that level if they want in fact. They don't have any money related problem currently. But maybe they want to find a middle way now. Kimpembe is one of the solid defenders so it would be another good signing after Koulibaly.
I don't think that Chelsea now needs Kimbempe considering the last bought that they have made (Koulibaly from Napoli, really sad about that  ). Maybe they should start to find a good attacker, in that zone they really needs it while in defense zone at the moment they are ok, as in middlefield phase. The defense is not urgent for Chelsea anymore after signing Koulibaly indeed. However they are still going for another centre-back now as it seems. They had better focus on signing an attacker as you said. Lukaku has left the team for this season so they need to fill his place in the team.
