4621  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Segwit Address for android that is compatible with Ledger Nano on: January 22, 2018, 01:41:06 AM

some functionality currently requires use of the  GreenAddress desktop app (initializing hardware wallets).[1]
To initialize your Ledger Nano with the GreenAddress wallet, you have to do this with the Chrome application.[2].
just follow two tutorials.
I hope this is the solution to your problem
Thank you for those links will try it later once I get home.

--snip--
Which exchangers are already supporting Segwit?
AFAIK most popular or common exchanges supports segwit address already except the bech32 format which is uncommon wallet address that starts at bc1
4622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]🔥 LUNYR 🔥 Decentralized World Knowledge Base on Ethereum / OPEN BETA 🚀 on: January 21, 2018, 04:37:16 PM
Hi i read more about your project and always discover something new about it. I did see that currently lun is listed on major exchanges like binance but i also see this can be used for advertising only and other coins like cbn will be the actual reward. Does this mean even if get lun for submitting my work i can't withdraw it and have to use for advertising because currently it is the only one listed.

I want to hear something from the team regarding with this. It might be something ugly if lun token will only use to advertise on the platform itself and cannot be withdrawn to some exchange. Seems they not answering pieces of stuff here.
4623  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Why is it doing this? on: January 21, 2018, 03:54:12 PM
Try to paste your address in any ethereum block explorer such as: https://etherscan.io l https://ethplorer.io as it is a good reference of what state your wallet is really in (how much coins, unconfirmed/confirmed transactions etc..)

Please do follow the steps above and update us if the balance appear on the eth blockchain explorer (ethexplorer.com/etherscan.io) or not.

Or try to get the private keys of the eth address you have on blockchain.info and leave that wallet already and use myetherwallet.com instead. Because blockchain.info's wallet is so buggy and I dunno if dev still working to fix this things on their side. And use your eth private keys to login in myetherwallet.comso you can send eth or any erc20 based tokens in mew.
4624  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Segwit Address for android that is compatible with Ledger Nano on: January 21, 2018, 07:20:56 AM
It is likely to show your balance as  empty in electrum when you import via Ledger Nano's seed even when selecting BIP39,  Do follow the settings to setup your segwit wallet with electrum.
1. While importing 12 digit  seed into electrum, you must choose /m/49'/0'/0' instead of /m/44'/0'/0' . You will now see the balance of your Ledger Nano's wallet into electrum.
Do these simple steps and let others know if it works for you

Please read the whole thread before replying, its like your reply is a spam and off topic here. I'm using segwit in electrum already.

And seriously its a crazy and stupid idea to import your ledger's seed in any wallet even in electrum as there's a recent vulnerability on this wallet. And what 12 digit you're saying? Does ledger have 12 seed? Lol. Please make some decent research first before teaching others.
4625  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Segwit Address for android that is compatible with Ledger Nano on: January 21, 2018, 12:13:28 AM
I’m using greenaddress wallet which supports segwit.
they have two android application native application and Cordova application.[1]
also, support Hardware wallet & can use private keys /mnemonics to sweep your bitcoins into electrum.

Source: https://greenaddress.it/en/faq.html

I can't find where do I have to import or add my ledger nano on greenaddress' both 2 android app with segwit enabled, and likewise I can't find any information/instructions on ledger's main website.
4626  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Segwit Address for android that is compatible with Ledger Nano on: January 20, 2018, 04:01:12 PM
Why don't you look into Electrum for android? I just installed it to see if their mobile client is Segwit ready, and they indeed do allow you to generate a Segwit based address. I haven't tested it by moving funds back and forth with Segwit since I don't transact very often, but it should work just fine. It has a fairly low app store rating, but let that not distract you. In most cases people give a lower rating because of them not understanding the app, or that they demand more fancy features.

Yes, electrum for android supports segwit but I want to use my Ledger nano s segwit address to use in android wallet like what mycelium do with legacy.
But unfortunately electrum for android doesn't even support any hardware wallet.
4627  Economy / Service Discussion / Segwit Address for android that is compatible with Ledger Nano on: January 20, 2018, 03:07:48 PM
I've been searching throughout the internet but can't find any accurate answer for it. I have ledger and I'm using electrum and mycelium for the legacy and currently using electrum for the segwit.

Now I want to use segwit in android so I can use it anytime and anywhere I want. So mycelium is my only hope but still they're not supporting segwit until now. So what can you suggest.

Just to update this thread, as mycelium update its wallet with a segwit compatible of hardware wallet (ledger nano) to mycelium wallet which what I'm looking for. [...]
4628  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Freewallet.org is a SCAM on: January 20, 2018, 12:30:55 PM
I've PM'ed Freewallet (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1177176) about this issue. I hope he will respond/reply here asap since his last online activity was on january 18.  I've read/heard too many scam accusations against this wallet but I dont know if some of them got resolve and still the profile of freewallet's staff here has no negative feedback from anyone so I bet that they still responding the issues of their users.
4629  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for Escrow who will work for our team forever when he is needed. on: January 20, 2018, 04:26:28 AM
--snip--
He then said, funds will be sent after 2.5k weeks, which is basically a day before his campaign was to pay out. So basically he wants me to pretend i have funds for the 2 weeks, then after I'm supposed to receive escrow funds, he'll run off and I'll be screwed.

If this what he wants when hiring an escrow then forget my escrow details above posts and avoid dealing with this man together his signature campaign.

---snip--
did you see someone participating in this campaign confirming that he received payment ? Read the last reply in this campaign and you will have the answer , don't be dump man just read all comments before taking defence of this scammer
Just calm down dude. You can't just blame those people who only wants to join a campaign rather than checking the legitimacy first.
4630  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for Escrow who will work for our team forever when he is needed. on: January 19, 2018, 03:27:21 AM
Here's my escrow service thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2062906.0
I have much experience this past year holding funds with signature, social media, bounty campaigns and some personal/private transactions.

4631  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Token Store? What did you think on: January 19, 2018, 01:14:19 AM
What exchange are you referring, I can't see any site with trade.store.
But if the site ask your private keys then I will never ever trust this site. Many people reported already about lost funds because of this reasons that's why I will not risk giving my private keys to anyone specially to an unknown exchange
4632  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buying 100+ BTC daily in Dubai on: January 19, 2018, 12:48:26 AM
I wonder if someone can do that here, but in any case try to find someone in localbitcoins here's the link for it which is from dubai https://localbitcoins.com/places/596218/dubai-al-ain-road-united-arab-emirates-ae/

Or post on currency exchange if what you have and exchange/buy with bitcoins https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0

But be aware from scammers always use an escrow while transacting online on this forum.

4638  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Problems with blockchain.info access on: January 17, 2018, 09:51:41 AM
Thank you guys for all your comments. I usally use firefox on linux. In the past everything worked fine. The issues have been started some weeks ago. Regarding my goal: I would need to import my private key to my watch only wallet in order to do any transaction. I generally switch the whole amount to a new paper wallet. Has electrum already solved their actual problems? I would need a linux version but still don`t find how to verify before installing. Any good advices?

Electrum with latest version 3.0.5 has solved permanently all of their problems. Electrum although being one of the best btc wallets is not the only one, you can try Exodus wallet which is a great multi-coin wallet that supports not only btc but many altcoins too. It is as safe as Electrum so a good alternative option to Electrum.
But the downside of using exodus is it doesn't have an option to choose your transaction fee with bitcoin transaction while electrum has a dynamic fee and you can do it manually. But so far you can trust exodus, overall they are good wallet.

Today's Updates
Code:
17-Jan-2018: Add User Cobalt9317, Update User Untold, Revenant 02, jacee

--snip--
Please fix your application, I can't see any thread for your portfolio or ANN thread, I didn't add you to the list yet, please it first.

EDIT: I see your thread already but it seems there's no sample of your work there, please add it for proofs, that's why you don't get any response from the forum coz you didn't attach those images or some links of the video you made or screenshots of it. And still, I didn't add you to the list for this reason.

4640  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 11-Jan-2018] on: January 16, 2018, 01:00:41 PM
the campaign is already full since yesterday . So the man post that there are a new campaign accepting new participant only today is wrong . Why he didn't post about it since yesterday .

Probably because the purpose of this thread is maintaining a current list of running campaigns daily, not to alert people to new campaigns in real time. Normally Fatnut spots all the new campaigns but after the thread had been updated and this one was missed someone did him a favour and pointed it out.

So this is why you are so irritated, see above post with or the bold phrases so you can understand more how this thread works, if you want to be alerted in every campaign posted on service board, I read a thread some time ago that there's a free/paid telegram bot that alerts you to every campaign posted on service board. Or try to click the notify button on the upper right of the board but expect more email on your inbox.
