4621  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: April 24, 2017, 12:45:27 AM
I'm not sure that those bitcoin holders who have few coins can get rich a lot. Yes, the price is growing, but not so fast to get rich having one or two bitcoins. This will only earn the rich

I don't get what you are saying but I do know that you are saying that having a few bitcoins will not make someone rich which is really true, the price may increase but it will not change the fact that your bitcoin will stay stagnant if you will do nothing with it. If you are a trader, you may earn some profit, but it will not make you rich.
4622  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: small fee makes transactions faster on: April 23, 2017, 11:18:53 PM
It also seems that if your Bitcoin address has several deposits, it takes a higher fees to cosolidate and send to another address. There are apparently a few reasons why fees can be larger. Regardless, the fees aren't huge yet, but they seem to be getting bigger.
The fees are getting larger without any doubt and with the increase in fees micro transactions are not possible with bitcoin and if the trend continues like this there will be a time when the transactions fees will be so huge that it will drive people away from bitcoin and you need to have a solution to counter the problem.

More people are now using bitcoin, and with that many transactions are made everyday. As we all know the price are really high and small amount transactions are inevitable. But it always make a traffic in the network, so it is better to send a bitcoin with multiple receivers so the traffic can be minimized. I think it is goid if we can avoid transacting small amounts.
4623  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you kill your own children if God commanded you to? on: April 23, 2017, 10:26:56 PM
If God commanded me too, obviously I will be asking why, what is the reason why we need to kill our child. And even if he answers me, I will never do it. That is child, my flesh and blood, I will not kill him just like that, and if He is a real God that we know of,he will not command it to us. The God himself said that we need to mulitply.
4624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost over 12 btcs gambling on dice on: April 23, 2017, 10:02:50 PM
The whole gambling business exists because thanks to people like yourself who has no idea what gambling is all about. If you are still thinking about the answer, you are hopeless.

It is about losing money. Not making money. If people were making money by gambling, then casinos wouldn't have existed dawg. 12 btc is just a bit pricey life lesson for you. Never forget what you learnt for 12btc and transfer this expensive knowledge to your kids so they won't end up as failures in life like their father did.

I think its little bit more harsh way of giving reply and commenting on OP loss, it is true that in dice and casinos no one have ever won and its only house edge that is winning let it be the house edge 0 also in the end you will end up in loss.

I think that is not harsh, it is the better way so he can learn his lesson. You said it yourself that no one have ever one and the house is the only one winning right? He must realized it to that he is stupid and careless. Even if I love gambling, having such bitcoins, I will not use it in gambling, I will use it so I can have some investments, try to trade. Theres a lot of  way to make that bitcoin big, so why gambling?
4625  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: April 23, 2017, 04:58:55 PM
Bitcoin can also lead to corruption and can be linked to corruption after all corruption happens because of money and bitcoin is a form of money, a crypto currency so there is still corruption in bitcoin but it is hidden like how one commits corruptions because of a fiat currency. It is impossible for bitcoin, a currency to be corruption free.
Because bitcoin has anonymous and decentralized facilities it's perfect to hide your identity as well as the money you corrupt. Believe it or not they already use it

Hide your identity as well as the money you corrupt, then thats laundering, not corruption. I don't think that the government will have a way to corrupt bitcoin because it is decentralized. They can't get anything out of it unless they own a site of bitcoin wallet or trading site.
4626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: April 23, 2017, 04:22:13 PM
Because they are afraid to take risks, they think that the bubble can burst at any moment. And the state wants to control all financial operations.

They are not afraid to take risks, bitcoin helps a country economy, and I don't think it's price matter at all. Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency so they can't control the bitcoin transactions. There are many reasons that the government are not accepting bitcoin, but I know time will come and they will be changing their minds when they see how bitcoin helped other country.
4627  Economy / Economics / Re: Difference of Trading and Investing? on: April 23, 2017, 03:03:26 PM
The trading is all about how you will mange your money and how you create a strategy to earn money and not to lose your money in short you have the full control in your money and the investing is just MLM because you have no control on it when you deposit you will just wait for your turn to pay out. And it's risky.

Investment is for the rich and lazy person who will invest and wait for the profit, while trading is for rich and active person who can use his mind to get good income from trades.

You can't say that, and mostly, investors are the one who is really desperate to earn profit, they try many things to earn money or bitcoin. Not all investors are lazy and rich, somw of them are newbies and patient. And you can just say trading is for the rich also, I can trade but I am not that rich, being active yes, being a trader means that you spend your time studying and analyzing charts
4628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the future of gambling on: April 23, 2017, 02:46:01 PM
Do you say they will innovate gambling to can played with apps? maybe there are apps that can be played for free in my country its online and if they will do this maybe more people will intertest to gambled lol not sure with this maybe they will not considered this kind of activity gambling is illegal all over the world when don't have papers that they proove that they legit business.

Where did you get that from that gambling is illegal all over the world? The gaming commissions in respective countries  all over the world handle those licensing and register gambling houses as legitimate and hence accepts taxes from them. There are even countries where the government himself owns the gambling companies so it's neither here nor there are that gambling had been declared illegal all over the world. This is just a pure lie.

in our country philippines, there are already speculations that the president would close online gambling as it was deemed a tax free and most kids are involved in it. our president is said to be the best right next to marcos and i would agree to him. but i think it would be hard to totally eradicate online gambling. there are still leeway on have a covert op.

I think it is just right to close online gambling sites in your country because children will be really caught by it, nothings wrong with that if they decided to close them. These is a good solution so most of the bitcoin users will stop gambling especially the young ones. But I don't think that the residents there will stop gambling that easy, there are still many ways they can gamble online.

4630  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: April 23, 2017, 01:49:52 PM
Now it is very difficult to talk about this, and give some advice, because, no one knows what will happen in the future, perhaps someone will come up with a new crypt-currency that will surpass Bitcoin.

I don't think that it is really that difficult. As a user you know the volatility of bitcoin, it has a really unpredictable price, so we can say that it is really risky investing in bitcoin unless you are a skilled or experienced trader. You can make good decisions that will lead you to make good profit. And about a new cryptocurrency that will surpass a bitcoin, I think it is a possibility, but it will never be a threat to bitcoin.
4631  Economy / Economics / Re: Is trading just educated guessing? on: April 23, 2017, 01:13:38 PM
Can you really be sure you will profit unless you have insider info?

Trading is also considered as a gambling, meaning even slight, you are relying on your luck. But you can't call that a guess because you are analyzing a data, and it is really ironic when you say educated guess, educated means you analyze data, and a guess is just a wild bullet, so you do not say it is an educated guess, you can say that it is an assumption.
4632  Other / Archival / Re: Which one is more risky? Skill-based gambling or trading? on: April 23, 2017, 07:47:33 AM
I think skill-based in gambling more risky because even if you have the skill-based in gambling to get a profit or not fixed that determines is luck and although trading also has a risk at least the funds will not be lost fully

That is true, but you must consider that if you have a skill, then you have a high possibility of winning or earning a profit. If it is a skill based gambling then it mostly depend on your skill, though it may also depend on your luck. In trading you have a lot to analyze and if you are a newbie or a beginner in trading, you have a lot to work on making a lot of big and hard decisions that may ruin you, so trading is more risky.
4633  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How do you feel about the death penalty? on: April 23, 2017, 07:13:03 AM
Death penalty is such a good way of disciplining your people and to help the nation in decreasing the crimes. As the advantages I cited in my first sentences it is really an amazing program. Then I am agree with the death penalty because there's a lot of criminals who can't stop by the government especially those drug pushers, killers, and rapist.

It may be right that it is a good way to discipline the residents of a place or a country to make it more peaceful, but the problwm is that, the culture of the country you are in. Most country with big Christian people decline Death Penalty, their reason is that the country is not used to spill blood as a Christian, but it makes more criminals do their thing and the sympathy will be on the hands of the people, which is really absurd.
4634  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How society works on: April 23, 2017, 06:18:10 AM
Most of the people nowadays are so judgemental making such reactions how people move or talk in a society. I think there are blames about the expression "First Impression". Mostly people base their treatment in a person by these way. It is natural or easy to judge a person without knowing them, especially when we don't really know them. We can't say harsh thing to them because we don't really know them. I think it is better to judge someone if you really know them, if you don't know them, it is just an assumption or a gossip.
4635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Turn Gambling into a Profitable Activity on: April 22, 2017, 10:51:44 PM
Well in my personal experience you can turn gambling into a profitable activity. if you will became the banker or a dealer also it will be a profitable activity if you happen to run, operate the gambling site.

Being a banker or a dealer of an online gambling site or casino, it will not ensure you any profit unless you owns the gambling site and many gambling addicts are gambling in your site or casino. A lot of gambling sites are now known for having their own uniqueness so if you will be owning one, better have a unique gambling site that gamblers will come back to everyday.
4636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why trading is better than gambling? on: April 22, 2017, 10:03:59 PM
Usually, Trading is always considered better than gambling because it's not based on luck. When we talk about trading we talk about skills and knowledge. So by learning a books in this domain you can will be an expert and your profit will be positive every day. So, if we talk about gambling, we talk generally about luck. So i think this is the difference and this is the way that people said Trading is better.

Usually, yes, because trading is not as better than gambling. Yes, trading is better because it is safe, but a lot of your work will be eaten by focussing your time in these trading and a lot of your analysis sometimes are incorrect leading to no profit at all. And as you know, even expert traders do not earn much from trading. Unless that person is a whale. In gambling you can earn bitcoin easy, and not all the time we are relying on our skills and knowledge sometimes, not just luck, and if you really think of it, trading and investing is all gambles, you take risks, and also rely in your luck.

You are not having problems, Danny? Some of us get connections timed out. But using the IP provided by Theymos on Twitter works. The problem might be the DNS.

Well Yes,for those who dont have seen this you can use the IPs mention in the below link to be able to access bitcoin talk smoothly. https://pastebin.com/raw/EaKixQni

4638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: April 22, 2017, 11:06:28 AM
Well maybe I think about the issue of fee on each transaction. It will probably slowly make people not use bitcoin, because even small transactions have large chunks. I think that's the only disadvantage of bitcoin

I think the developers will do something about these matter, but we also need to help them what we can do to help. As a user there are also ways that we can lessen the traffic of these transactions. For example, making transactions minimize into one transaction. Mostly the traffic was made by spams sending small amount of bitcoin with smaller fee, but if we can reduce it to one transaction and woth big fees, that will be easy. And I think the another disadvantage of bitcoin is its acceptance by the stores.
4639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: April 22, 2017, 02:32:31 AM
Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
As long as bitcoin exist and the community using it there's no chance for the other cryptocurrency to replace it. But once bitcoin disappear that's the only time for cryptocurrency to replace it, but now it's too impossible to replace by somebody else.

Bitcoin will never be replaced by any other cryptocurrency especially with it's price and popularity. Though, there is a chance, but that chance is like winning in a lottery with the whole population of the world participating. Still, other cryptocurrency can be used as an alternate to earn profit by trading. It depends on you on how will you use these cryptocurrency to help you earn some profits.
