4621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Newbie and Bounty campaign. on: June 21, 2020, 05:14:06 AM
Some bounties are scam and they are easy to figure out but not all of them, doing bounties today is like trying out how lucky you are, sometimes you get bad results and sometimes you get good results, get used to it, it's not that bad.
Chances are those that are scam and easy to detect wont last long enough to "raise" funds and scam investors, likely to get called out and shut down by this forum's scam accusations. However scammers are intelligent and that is why they can scam, so they devise newer methods to make their team pictures undetectable by AI reverse searches, modify whitepapers to make it seem legit. Sometimes they get caught by the newly registered domain name but they continue to exist.

I wont say that people should get used to it but rather start to abhor ICO projects. It has been scamming investors of money and bounty hunters of their time and hard work. People need to use their judgement properly.
4622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Vietnam bursts an illegal casino who used to handle bets worth $3 billions on: June 20, 2020, 06:03:22 AM
I strongly believe that gambling should be legal in every country but unfortunately it is not.
Thats not how it works. You know there are anti-gambling organizations which attempt to gain political power just like other anti-establishment movements? Their work is racketeer casinos to pay them to keep their mouths shut or else they will smear them.

They will start to protest and cause anarchy if no listened to and hence government have to make a compromise. Just like Vietnam, gambling is illegal in many countries but they have learnt methods to make loopholes in the law and allow gambling in lieu of those loopholes.

Quote
Illegal things also make money for the government but it has to do more work by shutting them down and seizing assets.
One or two getting busted is not a big deal. There are hundreds of them operating. Its just the tip of the iceberg. Smiley

Quote
I'm sure he made a lot of money from it before he was shut down.
Dont worry about him, they will be back after a year or so once they find everything settled. You just need to pay some bribes and get everything working again.
4623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Taxes on Bitcoins: Unreasonable or essential? on: June 20, 2020, 05:58:27 AM
its purely unreasonable! one of the main reasons people use bitcoin instead of fiat is to do without payment of taxes and there's no point of decentralization if the government can put tax on bitcoin.
Tax evasion is a illegal thing, firstly. But only applied to the fiat economy for now. Thing is that you have to understand the reason why we have to pay taxes - for the development of the city we live in mainly. However it is not a perfect world so of course the taxation is going into other people' pockets but we are not the jurisdiction to declare whether it is correct or not, since we are citizens.

Bitcoin did not intend on evading taxes though. It was not what was in the ideology. Bitcoin was meant to be decentralized but that does not mean evading taxes. It means that bitcoin does not have any central institution controlling but.
4624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What happened in the bounty program? on: June 20, 2020, 05:54:21 AM
As long ICO do exist and other marketing stuff that do involved token allocation then these bounty hunters wont really stop.
I dont get why they never learn. Do the hunters lack basic logical skills that they are being duped with the promise with tokens that will be the next bitcoin? If they are falling for such foolish schemes then they really need to rethink their actions.

Quote
They will join even they do know the chance on success or making money is less compared wayback in previous years that we have known that bounty hunting is still feasible.
That hype may have been the reason of the slow and painful decay of bounty hunting. Some people see the old days and think that they can make money but its not the case anymore.

Quote
IEO is no different thing, they just had overhauled it but doesnt really give out anything something new but all on the same trash projects but in a different way of accumulating funds.
Truely, they just rebranded it and made it seem that listing was no longer a problem since they launched from an exchange. By no means it makes it any different from the scam it was.

Quote
This is why its not really worth to join up bounties nowadays if you dont like to waste up your precious time.
Seems like most hunters like to waste time though. Cheesy
4625  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: June 19, 2020, 06:05:52 AM
It really gave me a lot of affiliates. There was plenty of other ways I made affiliates too. I just loved this place for affiliate income since it was actually giving me a decent return unlike other places where casinos didn't give me much, here I could earn from even their free faucet claims I think.
Thats a good way to generate a steady flow of referrals. Reinvesting what you got back to marketing and growing on it. Basic money makes money principle. Agreed that considering other caisnos where you will need people to "waste" their deposits to get a commission, freebitco.in allows you to get income from the faucet claims. That was how all faucets at one time used to be spread on social media till they dropped except one which is this site. Cheesy

I still use mellow ads. It's still an effective method of getting referrals when you don't have a significant marketing budget.
How long you been using mellowads? I had mostly done this back in 2015-16 and got 31 referrals in total. Didnt have time much later on though but your numbers do seem shabby to me.  Undecided

4626  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Best way to crowdfund a life using crypto? on: June 19, 2020, 05:50:33 AM
The "sponsor" needs to have something worthy to buy that minted token. Means from the other side the person minting the token needs to provide some service to the sponsor to make them buy the token.

I can see a similarity with what ICOs have done. They created their token and provided the investors with benefits to the token holders. For example, an exchange token gives a reduced fee to a token holder, a marketplace token gives the investor cashbacks and discounts on purchases, a gaming token gives special skins and mods to the investor-player.

It does not necessarily have to be a religious organization. It can be any company but thing is, first you need to get people to use crypto and then only you can start projects on it in your country.
4627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What happened in the bounty program? on: June 19, 2020, 05:45:38 AM
The trusted manager needs more time to get the client too
Its not about time but of quality. The ICOs that happened at one time and now renamed as IEOs never had anything to develop on. The objectives of these projects had already been taken up by huge mainstream companies and they had no edge to go and compete with them. The crypto niche is still a very small community and thus we dont see them making much of an effect in the world economy.

Hence these projects were a failure from the start. Still people wanted to make some quick cash and joined them - these fool investors deserved what they got because of the flawed judgement. The bounty hunters were no better. With the smell of free money they joined and get nothing but worthless tokens in return.

Since then, the increase is much less and is perhaps around 10 referrals per year...
Nevertheless, I have some active referrals, which brings me a nice small amount of money to my pocket!
I remember those days when Mellowads had a faucet and I would make sure to dispense it at least once every day to accumulate enough and run a CPM campaign every week. I used to get on an average 1ref/cycle for freebitco.in and they used to remain for about a week or so. Last time I checked I had around 30refs but most of them have become inactive now. It was fun when bitcoin was going from 3digits to 4digits in USD price and people were flocking in to get more faucet earnings but it soon died down when the price soared upwards.

BPIP is a community driven project. Dont get me wrong, the members who run it are trustworthy and worth a mention but it is always possible that they are unable to maintain the project for a long period of time. On the other hand forum profile links are going to remain as it is lets not think about new forum software.

It all comes down to the managers choice though. They may decide to sue BPIP link in future. Definitely it gives an at-a-glance look at the merit stats are some more important information to evaluate the post quality.
4630  Local / India / Re: Shocking - With a law, India plans lasting ban on cryptos on: June 17, 2020, 08:30:08 AM
@fiulpro

I think we all are getting a bit or more exaggerated about the future of crypto. Believe me, everyone here wants good things to happen to this sector in India but we are facing hurdles. Now have to keep patience and see how things unfold. One ban coming in does not mean the end of the world. Fact that it was appealed and then repealed makes it all the more obvious that there is a difference is opinion and soon enough change will come.

The news regarding crypto may just end up scaring people which is a bad thing - but I consider them as a "test" of belief. Your support for bitcoin and crypto is being tested here. You have nothing to lose here if your faith is clear in the future of crypto and I am very optimistic about its future. Very soon we might see a countering party for this ban.

Give it time and remember that change does not happen in a few years. It takes time and is a long time process. Patience is the key here.
4631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Interview with Stake.com CEO Reveals Plans for Tether Betting + New Games. on: June 17, 2020, 06:45:59 AM
This interview is nothing but a promotional topic. You guys understand why they approach big names in cryptos for interviews and not the other way round? Its because they want traffic to their site and above all the title is misleading.

Stake is not having plans for adding Tether. Of course it has been requested a lot of times to their staff to add stablecoins by none other than stablecoin shills but the final decision making does comes from the higher ups. When they are going to say something on interview, they will say something in a blanket manner which is what was done here.
4632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tricks and tips for esports betting on: June 17, 2020, 06:40:23 AM
e-sports for me is also unique because of electronic randomness. Speed of internet at any given time. The function of your keyboard and mouse even!
Ping and latency issues too. One of the reasons why Third world country users have suffered in online multiplayer games which need a quick response time and are unable to get a special ISP sponsorship for a leased line. So you can understand the similarity with the physical sports by the people who control them and e-sports. They cant practice with seasoned players as well.

These things will influence the way bets are made. If they are put on a world stage where the game is on LAN then the ping issue will be gone but they are less likely to have an edge. Still it can differ.
4633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Sometimes hunters are to be blame on: June 17, 2020, 06:31:44 AM
If they dont value much out of their effort and resources wasted then most of the time they wont really matter that much if they would get paid or not.
Thats where you are getting it wrong. They just want the money, at least most of them but they get really mad if they dont get paid even if they dont know a thing about what they are promoting.

ICO turns to be shit and same goes for the bounty hunting thing.
ICOs were born to be shitcoins. It was a failed concept but people jumped into the bandwagon due the hype effect and got ripped off. Without regulation and not being legal securities, tokens are worth nothing. But they did get swayed by the promise that those tokens would be next to bitcoin.  Cheesy

Quote
Its been said for how many times that it isnt feasible or worth anymore but there are still people who do still believe and hope.
Just like people who believe that bitcoin doubling services are legit and cloud mining is a legit thing, there will be people who join bounties and cry for not being paid anything.
4634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: People are complaining about airdrop/bounty earnings, something more profitable? on: June 17, 2020, 06:28:30 AM
I am trying to succeed in affiliate marketing, but it is one of the most difficult ways how to earn online. Especially when you donīt have a website with good traffic. There are so many cool tutorials on youtube, but even you follow every step, the result is pretty different than what they say in the videos.
It is not as easy as they make it sound on youtube.

If you are willing to start affiliate marketing you need to garner your own niche of products. It can be anything starting from cooking to casinos. You are going to post articles on a blog or videos on a channel to promote something and gradually start promoting products. It is not a easy thing to do and neither is it a get-rich-quick method.

You have to gather your own community and seek their interests. Then focus on making content for them and then start promoting the product you are trying to sell them. It is nowhere near easy.

However you can try posting about sports betting a blog and gradually gain a audience there. Post about promotions at times and hope they sign up with your referral link. Tempt them with giveaways and keep them together. In short it is not a side earning, rather a full time work.
4635  Economy / Lending / Re: I give out loans under surety on: June 16, 2020, 05:07:30 AM
To obtain a loan you will need an identity card \ passport and at least one surety.
And as soon as the borrower sends you those you are going to cut of communications and act like nothing happened, selling the identity or using it for more malicious uses.

Why dont you start by signing using an address that you control and contains approximately 5BTC so everyone knows that you are actually having those coins and not stolen again from somewhere?
4636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What casinos have forums? on: June 15, 2020, 02:34:41 PM
Well bitcointalk is the first forum that every cryptocurrency service provider (including casinos) will put up an ANN and then go over the build their own forum. Because the latter is not a easy thing to do, you also have to keep in mind the traffic coming to the forum or else you are going to have a dead forum.

So what they do is promote the casino on bitcointalk, reddit, telegram, discord and so on. They put up giveaways and promotions through them and slowly start a community and then move to a forum. Community development is very important for any site be it a casino or an exchange.

The "Trollbox" is an essential thing on any of these sites. Grin How many of you agree?
4637  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Body Of Control? on: June 15, 2020, 02:28:05 PM
Only cryptocurrency or single bitcoin will never be the single currency system of any country. If bitcoin is permitted to use, present system will also exist. We know, many countries have already permitted bitcoin to use and gradually this currency is enlarging its own place.
Both are existing. Some countries may ban its use but soon enough with pressure coming from other countries and their own people they will also allow crypto usage. The point is not that, but that bitcoin's dominance of world's economy is very small. The biggest portion is fiat.

Quote
With the development of cryptocurrency, blockchain technology is also developing day by day.
Blockchain is the technology behind bitcoin. It is not synonymous with bitcoin.

Quote
So, I think, when most of the countries will permit bitcoin, a controlling system of the countries will also be introduced in this blockchain technology.
The essence of bitcoin comes from its property of being decentralized and censorship-resistant. I dont know how a controlling body can be made.
4638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: So many new cryptocurrency exchange now, Are they safe to trade? on: June 15, 2020, 02:24:40 PM
It is a really important matter for traders. There are also many new cryptocurrency exchanges, But all of them are not safe for trade.
Often it is not a need that makes the person join and use an exchange. It is compulsion because they own a shitcoin that didnt get listed on a older well known exchange and got listed somewhere less known who again want new users to sign up and thus a low listing fee. That is a a part of the deal that the project owners often do to make sure they can list the coin at the earliest.

The bounty hunters are also taking the risk of using these exchanges and they are being forced to use them in a sense. But it all comes back down to hunting for the worthless coins. If they stop doing that, this useless trail of frustration will stop.
4639  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why not decentralized exchange..? on: June 15, 2020, 10:38:28 AM
Another shortfall of Dex is the low liquidity issue.
What about the trust issue? For a CEX at least you have a legal ground to fight for in case they turn to scam. But for a DEX, whom are you going to hunt for? The owners are anonymous and there is not country from where the DEX is registered. I dont know if things have changed about DEXes nowadays since I dont trade on them much but if it is still like that then the risk is there.

Because the crypto exchange system is completely unregulated just like crypto itself, we can see exorbitant listing fees (like Binance did), sudden exit scam of exchanges and so on.

But the thing is people want to buy and so these exchanges thrive. It is definitely a wild west type of thing.
4640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty- Waste of resources? on: June 15, 2020, 10:33:15 AM
It looks like so many people just try to blame the hunters based on the bad projects that have already gone but they never try to count how many successful projects that have already become a very big community.
Most investors who entered this sector did not even know that there were something called bounty hunters and people who took part in them got rewarded by the project owners for their efforts in promoting the project. You dont see it much for an IPO do you? Now the thing is that there is a difference between an equitysale and a tokensale. The latter is not recognized to be a legal security so the hunters are at risk of wasting their time for a shitcoin.

But not only the hunters are to blame, they are like a byproduct of the shitshow that these projects have done to the name of bitcoin.
