4621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese are turning towards other means of trading on: October 03, 2021, 05:32:37 AM
A recent article reported that China's outlawing of crypto transactions backfires: more Chinese are turning to underground projects and decentralized exchanges without the CCP's control. Do you see global implications for the crypto market?

Trying to send its citizens back to the stone age era was never the answer for this. Crypto is here to stay and am sure the government ( CCP) were very much aware that there was a possibility of this going underground should they use their authoritarian style. For all I see is a missed opportunity to leverage the technology in their favor or perhaps find ways to tax and grow its revenue streams.
4622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This bull makes all alts will make new all time highs on: October 02, 2021, 09:48:43 PM
I disagree! Markets might be bullish for the time being but for altcoins to see new all time highs means bitcoin has broken its all time high which will see others alts riding this wave to make new all time highs as well but am certain you meant to say to make new highs of the month..ot something In those lines Wink But any bullishness we are currently seeing is all about price recovery and not ATH phase.
4623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 02, 2021, 09:41:22 PM
Good to see Juventus get back to winning ways because looking at the table they are buried deep inside and trailing by 7 to 10 ponts off league leaders Napoli who have a game in hand and are unlikely to drop points either. And with less than 10 games played its hard to tell who can win the Italian title but Napoli and Inter are in a well placed position to challenge for top spot unlike their rivals Juventus who sit in 8th position and need to work extra hard to get back up.
4624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Show me you're ethereum price prediction. on: October 02, 2021, 04:58:06 PM
For starters if you have noticed that whenever the market is crashing,  bitcoin might or usually drops more than Ethereum because Ethereum has other tokens to serve which helps with its demand and cushions it from a violent drop unlike bitcoin which has its own back. So should we get into a bull run I expect Ethereum to do better than btc and I know it's following in the foot steps of bitcoin so I see $10000 to be a good target if you are a long term hodler.
4625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 02, 2021, 04:22:58 PM
Match between Brighton and Arsenal is almost underway and today's lineups look as follows:

Brighton XI: Sanchez, Dunk, Duffy, Burn, Cucurella, Groß, Lallana, Veltman, Moder, Trossard, Maupay

Arsenal XI: Ramsdale, Tomiyasu, White, Gabriel, Tierney, Partey, Lokonga, Smith Rowe, Odegaard, Saka, Aubameyang

With Arsenal showing some form of latebin the past few weeks, I think they will build on it to keep the winning run going and give themselves an opportunity to leap frog some teams and move from 11th to 7th position should they win this evening.
4626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 02, 2021, 04:03:53 PM
I have heard about that Manchester United are thinking of replacing Anthony Martial with Tanguy Ndombele too. But actually, the positions of these players are completely different. Hence, Ndombele won't fill Martial's place in case this transfer happens. Maybe Manchester United are thinking of a big striker transfer next summer and want to just get rid of Martial at the earliest opportunity.

Maybe they are thinking of having a good defensive back. He is adaptable to lot of defensive positions so I think its a good choice given how United are performing defensively. They need a strong presence in defence and right now there is none. They could work out without Martial as he already is not finding much playing minutes after arrival of Ronaldo and to be honest it would be hard to compete with him for the position. Better offload from one department and add strength to other.
I think Manchester United have ready with new position will left by Paul Pogba, until right now not any new negotiation contract about extended or not for him, better if Pogba want to left Manchester United they need looking for new player can replace that position leaving, have more than six month to know which one player have good position with Pogba on midfielder.
I thought Pogba is showing us that he has no intention of leaving Manchester united and these rumors have being going on for some time now . I don't think the French man is going anywhere unless otherwise.

Arsenal 'ahead' for Insigne

Arsenal are reportedly the front-runners for Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne.

The Italian winger is available on a free transfer as early as January and Corriere dello Sport have claimed that the Gunners are 'ahead' of the opposition should he elect to leave his current employers.

Some Half time scores as they stand this afternoon

Borussia Dortmund 1-1Augsburg

Dortmund are without their prolific striker haaland who has a muscle injury but even in his absence I believe Dortmund still have a strong team to win this game.

Wolfsburg 1-2 B. Monchengladbach

Wolfsburg started this game has favourites of the game but seems the have caught napping by their visitors and from the look of the two teams play we certainly have no clear favorite.  2nd half is underway can Wolfsburg turn this around with some inspiration from its home fans.

MU leads by 1 point, it's pretty good Grin
Why do I get the feeling that you are happy with the Manchester United result, let me guess you might be a Chelsea or City fan? Tell me I got it right  Grin

And btw this lead is temporary!

Not finger pointing but I think with the way we started the game I feel like we didn't give Everton the respect they deserved by fielding a less stronger squad and they punished us for it by equalizing but better than not walking out with a point we got something out of the game.
4629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 02, 2021, 12:09:15 PM
Just over 30 minutes gone in the early kickoff of the day between Manchester United and Everton and the ball possession speaks volumes...66:34 in favor of United and still no goals.

Also looking at the starting line-up I don't think any of us  saw this coming especially that we are meeting an Everton side that  can be a menace at times  leaving out CR7 and pogba?? Well coach knows best.

Hope Ole brings on Ronaldo for the second half and see if we can force some goals, good luck lads.

Bring a referee isn't as easy as it looks, hats off to these men and women that try to make fair calls for all teams.

Just saw this while browsing the net, can I get your opinions on this.
The reason for celebrating was because of the goal...if a yellow card is shown which leads to sending off of a player and VAR checks the build up of the goal only to be deemed offside then the punishment of that player should be reversed too.

It's like one of those calls referees are usually giving,  were a player is fouled and a signal of play on is even but later another player of the same team is fouled then the first call is what constitutes for the free kick.
4631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you see the true bear market coming? on: October 01, 2021, 10:26:32 PM
Like the title says, when do you see the true bear market that we saw that happened in 2018 with every alt crashing insane amount?
I think times have changed and now we have new market players that have helped crypto grow and cushion it from such a crash coming around again. And with more whales and institutional investors getting on board and government regulation that in the pipe lines for most countries in the world I honestly do not see any way possible how the devastating crash can happen gain. Cryptocurrencies are here to stay so expect better things to come Smiley .
4632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football visual betting or Dice on: October 01, 2021, 10:21:42 PM
Reading some comments in the thread I feel like the live football the OP is talking about has brought about an absurdity which has brought about two kinds of football here.  There is the live football that we all know and watch on our televisions while placing a few bets and there is the software based...more like simulated games which have nothing to do with the real teams but this is another game that available.  And afaik dice and the simulated football are all high risk games as the odds are always against the player, and the house will always win.
4633  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't be too desperate to make earning on: October 01, 2021, 09:32:13 PM
Timely advice because crypto advertisements are starting to be so aggressive online and in real life and people are so blinded such that they forget that these markets are of high risk. And because these companies are all in it for the money, very few have a deliberate policy to highlight some of these concerns that affect the markets such as volatility. But with the responsibility falling on ourselves let's seek to have the knowledge first before we get the money.

4634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: October 01, 2021, 08:58:38 PM
It will be very hard for Barcelona to find former glory because as far as I know , there is no one ever closer to Messi right now and players like this are born once in a good years.
I think this is really not a problem for Barcelona but how these players are brought into the team. Back then players were groomed to play for the team while they were young and understood what playing for a particular team really meant. Today football is a business and players don't play with the loyalty and passion because they are all focused to getting paid and nothing else...maybe with an exception with a few others.

Right now , they need to work as hard as they can in order to inspire young generation and to make them understand that Barcelona will be a big club no matter what.
Barcelonas problems are bigger than the younger generation, they really need an overhual.

Friday night football and this evening we have FC Koln vs. Greuther Furth facing each other in less than 20 minutes. Greuther Furth is buried deep in the log and are looking for their first win of the season while koln who play from home have a decent chance of winning today having come from some tough matches and going toe to toe with teams like RB leipzig and also gave Bayern Munich a tough time in a match they lost 3 goals to two. I see this to be an easy win for them, my prediction FC Koln 2-0 Greuther Furth
4636  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance NonVerified Account? on: October 01, 2021, 05:40:17 PM

You can but you have to do it before the deadline Binance gives you a long window to do KYC if you don't want to submit documents for Intermediate verification (level 2)
I thought level 1 verification is the one you need to provide an ID and selfie which I have personally not done, I guess this is were we part ways with binance. And tbh I foresee many crypto users having not done kyc and once Binance goes ahead with limiting our accounts their user base will be expected to drop!! I hope this mandatory KYC the keep forcing on us doesn't affect the crypto market while we are just registering some market gains for the time being.

Bitcoin price continues surge as Fed chairman says ‘no intention to ban’ cryptocurrency

Bitcoin continued its surge Friday morning, rising by nine per cent to $60,196 (US$47,536) — its highest level in 12 days.

The most recent gains, representing a $4,520 jump since closing on Thursday night, comes after U.S. Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell said he has no intention to ban cryptocurrencies.

When asked in a House Financial Services Committee meeting on Thursday by House Representative Ted Budd (R-N.C) if he was looking at imposing similar restrictions like China to ban or limit cryptocurrency, Powell said “No.”

“(I have) no intention to ban them,” he said.

One week ago, China’s most powerful regulators cracked down cryptocurrencies putting a stop to crypto transactions and mining, which caused a  dip in the market.

4638  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to understand the market in advance on: October 01, 2021, 04:19:08 PM
If you have some knowledgeable about forex trading then you will be glad to know that Crypto is not much different either, except these assets are highly speculative and will react to what people or the government do or say. But one indicator that helps with knowing which direction the markets are going is reading the charts using technical analysis which is faster than using indicators such as moving averages but these tend to be slow to reveal the move.  If you don't mind others analyzing the charts for you youtube has several channels for such material, good luck.

Is this what a new month can bring...if these are the results let everyday be a new month  Roll Eyes ? On a serious note I like how the month of October has turned this to be a recovery month and hope we can see $60k in it as well but just a reality check the month alone isn't enough alone what are the real reasons for markets being bullish all over sudden. Did Elon tweet about something good about crypto or some regulation around the world has given a breath of hope...

What do you think of this....

Barcelona receive £1.2bn offer from Dubai company to write off club's debts

FC Barcelona have reportedly received a £1.2bn offer to stabilise the Catalan club and write off their substantial debt that has caused havoc over the summer.

The La Liga giants had to part with one of the all-time greats over the summer, as financial issues at Barcelona ensured that under league rules, they couldn't afford to re-sign Lionel Messi.

In an attempt to lower their wage bill, the club also let Antione Griezmann return to Atletico Madrid, with Emerson Royal and Junior Firpo heading to the Premier League.

The club has been in a terrible state, but a company from Dubai could revive the club.

So everything happening to Barcelonas poor performance is tied to its financial stress but having a helping hand is this financial fair play?? This isn't any different from the proposed European league cup we heard about.
