EDIT:
<OT> Hey Saint-loup, what's the link to the SigCamp you're in? </OT>
You can see here, but it's CFNP now

Thanks for the link - I missed seeing that [ANN] this morning.

Application Submission; there are currently no links to visit privately.

I *think* the link is for the OP so people browsing the list can jump to our respective posts for expanded details.

Thank you, iasenko!

Yes, thank you @iasenko.
4642  Economy / Services / Re: [LIST] People renting out their signatures, avatars and personal text. on: March 07, 2020, 10:20:58 AM
Knowing how trustworthy a Campaign Manager is is not the same as knowing how trustworthy (or not) a SigCamp participant is.   A SigCamp participant only has to post, whereas a Campaign Manager has to hold funds tally participants posts, update spreadsheets and of course pay the participants on time.
Although that's all true, a positive trust score just looks better for advertising.

A user with has a much higher advertising value than a user with or even (I'm ignoring ranks here for the sake of argument).

That may be true if you are looking for someone who (for example) has gained all their trust feedback's via being escrows, or has sold trinkets years ago when people gave out positives for $1 sales of dubious keys that were probably WaReZ created anyway.

A Casino would probably want someone with Game thread credentials, a Mixer probably in the meta, or alt coins, same with an Exchange (alt coins for like) so they probably won't be looking for the cracked codes trust feedback.

But if it massages peoples' egos just that little bit, sign me up to that to.  It was 8/4/0 the other day when some-one dropped off of DT2 (that was probably me that took that screen-shot BTW) - It may have changed again, I don't go looking at such things on a daily basis.

 Roll Eyes  Grin  Cool

(we are talking about wearing signatures still - aren't we??)
4643  Economy / Reputation / Re: Kawbet belongs to 1xbet/1xbit (known scammers) - Plz support flag! on: March 06, 2020, 11:59:31 PM
Just to play "Devils Advocate" for a moment - aren't there now "out-of-the-box" programs to start up Casinos online?  Just about everything else you can get off the shelf pre-made.  Exchanges can be bought as can plug-ins.

Are there any other connections?
4644  Economy / Reputation / Re: Thule probably an alt of banned user lovesybitz u=952731 on: March 06, 2020, 11:52:34 PM
...

While it's true the evidence is on the whole circumstantial, two identical patterns (double spacing and twin spelling mistakes) (with the potential of a third in the targeted posts in Reputation etc) are pointers to both having the same finger-print.

OTOH,

Is it possible to say that savetheFORUM (activity eleven) and truth or dare activity 42/174 are alts of each-other and/or alts of Thule simply because of their fingerprints being line double spacing, targeted posts in Reputation etc and their similar UID creation dates 20 days apart?

Code:
11 February 2020, 05:08:35 Date Registered: truth or dare
02 March 2020, 15:02:01 Date Registered: savetheFORUM

If Thule really is an alt of banned user lovesybitz u=952731 then these questions need to be addressed.
4645  Economy / Services / Re: [LIST] People renting out their signatures, avatars and personal text. on: March 06, 2020, 11:33:38 PM
Suggestion: add Trust scores to the list, like pugman did.

My understanding of Trust scores is they fluctuate monthly or, when a user goes from DT2 to Zero and their previously given trusts are suddenly meaningless then hold weight when they bounce back as happened recently with this user.  You could ammend everyone's scores only to have to go back and change them back a week later.  But, if that's what you want to do, don't let me stop you.

My most trusted score is around the 215 -235 - 255 band usually.

4646  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BPIP] Bitcointalk Public Information Project [Back in Action] on: March 06, 2020, 12:32:12 PM
The recognition issue has been fixed - old ranks should no longer show up on user profile.

I see there has been an alteration/modification overnight:

That was just temporary while I was recalculating ranks for the above fix. No badges for > 1000.

Guys, I have a suggestion.

It's just a thought bubble, let's kick it around a little bit and see if we can do something with it.

This tells me nothing:

What I'm getting at is what sort of scores did this user receive to garner 574th place overall?

My suggestion is regardless of whether you use either link format:

If a toggle can be added to the end of the address instead of just the first 1,000 ranks being shown the first (say) 10,000 ranks are shown instead.

Think of how the BitCoinTalk's Forum profile pages can be modified:

The first one shows me my profile with my own DT settings set and the second is how someone without any settings having been set would see those same rankings.  I know there were a handful of settings such as the ;dt one - I don't use them so I can't show them as examples.

So how would this work?

Well,
Code:
https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=Timelord2067;tk
would show the first ten thousand ranks - I really don't feel after that there is any necessity to go must past ten thousand rank places, but most of us are at the top of the mountain already, so this is more for those in the foot-hills looking up at Mt Olympus (and you would have to draw the line somewhere)

Code:
https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=Timelord2067;mm
would show the most recognised if the most merited were calculated with
Code:
https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=Timelord2067;me
being most earned.

So then there could be
Code:
https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=Timelord2067;tk;mm
which would show a given UID's most recognised ranking including any ranks they have in the first ten thousand as well as calculating the ranks via most merited score.

Code:
https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=Timelord2067;ok;me
would show the most recognised showing only those ranks they have earned in the first one thousand ranks and the merit earned scores.

As I briefly touched on in a previous post, the black shield could become >1,000 ranks with a very dark grey (as in Tin a more base metal than copper the rank 100th - 50th) for those ranks 1,000th up to 101st places.

I have some other thoughts on the matter, but I'll put this one out there for genuine discussion.

Thanks for reading.

Just a reminder to everyone that it's actually helpful if you state how they are connected (true there's only two users in this instance), but please be aware of that for next time.

This rule has modified:
Quote
3. Posts in Altcoin boards, Archival, Games and Rounds, Investor Based Games, Micro Earnings, Politics and Society, and Off-topic will not count. For obvious reasons, posts in Ivory Tower and Serious discussion don't count as well. Posts in Local boards do count.

Posts in Archival should have never been counted and this was an oversight on my part. (thanks to Loyce for pointing it out!)
If for some reason you disagree with the rule change, please let me know.

I don't post in archival, but was wondering do you mean if a thread has been moved to archive *and* *then* you post it doesn't count?

BTW - am still available for hire.  Grin  Cool

According to your profile: 'In general: Do not trust anything that is written by this user. I would also avoid trading with them' So why should any user trust you?

Because your name is not Lauda and you have a reputation to establish?

Thank you a lot for your acceptance.
I've just worn signature.

Could you better explain how you warn people..? Or maybe worn? or..?

vycl87 is wearing the signature, hence it is worn.  Nice try jack05, but you weren't able to warn anyone with that one.

anyone feel like running a book to see who tanks in the first few weeks?

More examples of strange necro deleting of posts by mods weeks or months later:

it seems people woke up on abut the 3rd of January this year and said "you know what? I think I've had enough of the bickering" which has been refreshing to see.

What forum are you talking about?

I didn't say it was a Utopia.  Grin  Cool  Kiss

I guess some mods are still in their coma.

Look at this one:

.

A mod first modified my post and then deleted it.

This one is a direct reply to the OP (named in the post) the topic of the thread is me, so deleting a reply between either of us is malice by a mod:

You only have one stomach. Cows have three. We are almost always digesting. Some really big muscular animals are vegetarians. Humans aren't. There are exceptions, usually by choice. And, I think that's enough of this off topicness. Just having fun too.

I think you'll find cows have four "stomachs" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tripe#Beef_tripe As you can see in the link only the first three are made into tripe (presumably no-one is brave enough to eat the last chamber)

While I doubt @Dabs was the one who deleted the post, it shows how game certain mods are to randomly delete posts of mine weeks and months after the posts were made.

Sorry, but I'm new to the form I don't know yet. I can send you all the info I know about this guy . You can check out the spreadsheet, the Blogs campaign I've specified his spreadsheet number.

Nope.  I got burned and hung out to dry the last time I went down that path.  (even thought the information is indisputable) - Come back when you have proper information to post.

I am extremely sorry for the delays in the last payment I was busy from the last couple of days in RIL. There was even some delay in the fulfillment of the wallet funds as the Earnbet team was going through the overall success of the campaign as per I see.-

I am very glad to work with each and every participant of the campaign and even thanks to those who applied for making an effort.

Hoping to work again with you all in the future.

Thank You again.

Many thanks for your work as the campaign manager - I have received my funds and updated the trust feedback that I have left for you.  Best wishes and thank-you.
