If I'm not mistaken, Denver Nuggets, Sacramento Kings, and Indiana Pacers are few of the teams that resume their practice in their respective facilities last month, with the exception of Jokic as he is on his country, Serbia. Although it's not a team practice (limit of 4 players on the court), still, some players exposed with the one who has a virus. Contract tracing will be tough.

To add to the list;

- aside from Sacramento King's Jabari Parker and Buddy Hield, their teammate Alex Len was also tested positive.
- Derrick Jones Jr. from the Miami Heat is the recent one who got tested positive to the virus.

I'm sure these players will be fine in a couple of weeks just like others NBA players who got cleared with the virus since the pandemic virus struck the NBA. Almost just a month before the NBA tip-off, for sure these players will be healthy.

But my concern is, will NBA still push for the resume if more players are tested positive (from those participating teams). I mean, obviously, teams can play without these infected players (considered as injury) however it will bring an impact on the overall team performance especially if the player/s involved is a star or good role player.

Vince Carter Announces His Retirement

Vince Carter, one of my early favorite players in the league and the reason why I always pick the number 15 jersey in some basketball league I've participated in the past. His retirement is expected this season. Lucky to have a chance to see him in person way back when he visits our country, fortunately, one of their events held on my Alma Mater.

He is receiving a standing ovation for 2 seasons if I'm not mistaken as teams thought that will be his last season, so at least he experienced it lol.

I think what the point of bisdak is, Kai Sotto does have all the resources to support his basketball activity. His family affords to give everything to Kai but still less improvement and shown inconsistency during high school. To surpass JMF, he should also play in PBA. There are lots of popular players coming from being a dominant player in universities league that became trash when they drafted to PBA. That's how difficult the competition in the PBA. Even he undergoes a special practice or join exhibition match outside the country, that is not an assurance that he can cope up with the PBA environment. Big example, Kobe Paras. I pick him over Kai, more athletic with good handling. Trained and play in the US for years against the other race which is much larger and dominant compare to him. But yet, when he comes back here, struggling at UAAP so just imagined if he will play for PBA.

Kai Sotto will surely be improved. He is determined to that. But surpassing JMF, I don't see it to him. I like to see him be part of the National Team. That would be a great help.

I'm biased. My friends know that I'm a Dallas Maverick for a long-time so whatever the odds I'm placing a bet with them. Honestly, even at low odds playing around @0.3 to 0.4 I still picking them risking a decent amount to somehow feel the profit in return. I shared some of my bets here if I'm not mistaken.
