421 is staking like a champ! Trading action is growing at this site, and it looks like coinsmarkets will return. Things are in motion, and looking great. 421 is going to "light up" 2018 easily Smiley

Yeah its looking very good for 421 right now and as you said CoinsMarkets look set to reopen very soon as they say that trading will start in a few hours but it could be another day or so. Once Nova reopens deposits will 421 be trying to get listed on there? I have always like Nova as an exchange and would love to see 421 trading on there in the near future along side its big brother 808 coin.
4642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Elite [MANDATORY UPDATE] 20.89% APR | POS ONLY on: February 02, 2018, 09:41:52 PM
how many minimum coins should be in the POS purse
how long do they ripen

Hi, there is no minimum requirement. Maturity time is 60 minutes.

Yes that is true with no minimum however if this person wants to earn stakes regularly then I would suggest at least 500k to 1 million Elite coins. If you go with the 1 million then split them into 500k blocks as this might help earn a stake more often then one large block. The more coins you have the more chance you have to stake and earn regular stakes. This is what I have been telling the ones who message me on Twitter and they all seem very happy that they are staking with either of these amounts. Please note that stakes won't be daily unless you get lucky. If you want daily stakes then a few million should achieve this for you. Good luck!

I had a person reply to one of my 808 coin tweets yesterday complaining that his buy orders were not filling lol, I think in a way this is good because people are not selling into buy orders as much as they used to. Like I said if people really want the coin let them come to us as the sell order will eventually fill. This person also thinks that 808 is a pump and dump coin lol and that I and a select few are part of a group that is pumping and dumping 808 coin Please! I have never done this and I have never been apart of a pump and dump group. I think this person was just pissed because his buy order was not filling.

already offered the dev help, seems like he wasnt interested

Well that's a shame as this coin does need something going for it and not just the POS/POW block rewards. This coin needs a use or else its just a normal coin with high block rewards. To be honest MAY should at least have a marketcap of $1 million by now but its below 200k, I just hope the dev does something for the coin in the near future.
4645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Elite [MANDATORY UPDATE] 20.89% APR | POS ONLY on: February 01, 2018, 11:26:40 PM
So what will now be a coin not 1337 but Elite?

Hi, yes. The new name is Elite and ticker is 1337.

Yes this is very good as then we can try and get Elite listed on some of the big exchanges. I know some of the big exchanges don't like coin names as numbers like we had here so now that we have the name changed to Elite its much better. Also its much better for promoting on Twitter and other social media sites as I can now use $Elite as before $1337 didn't work lol and I had to use #1337coin. Elite is getting more attention which is good to see as I'm seeing a lot more people tweeting about Elite and also I'm getting a lot of interactions on my Elite tweets now.
4646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 💥SOLARIS XLR 💥⚡Mandatory update v2.4.0.0 (28 January)⚡ ⚡PoW-PoS ⚡Zerocoin ⚡ on: February 01, 2018, 11:20:18 PM
People selling Solaris is most likely the miners as I have seen this many times in the past with masternode/pow hybrid coins. I think once Solaris switches over to full POS/masternodes then the price might start to rise and remain stable for a longer period. Solaris will start to get the POS people in who are looking for a good long term hold while they stake. I just saw this happen with VGS recently where the price was always getting smashed because the miners were dumping their coins. Once it switched to POS/masternodes the price stopped going down and has actually started to go up in a big way so I'm thinking the same will happen here. Not long to wait now, just 3 months before we see POS start.

Not all miners instant sell, i like to hold and risk..

I know not all miners sell but most of them do to get back what they put into mining the coin. I'm like you as when I mined a coin back months ago, I never sold any and just held onto them as it was a POW/POS hybrid coin so the coins I got from mining I also staked at the same time and it work out great. The same can be done with Solaris however its with masternodes and in April the ones that mined Solaris can then stake their mined coins that have been mining all this time if they are willing to take the risk. So I take it that you will be doing this then? Mine now and then stake or set up a masternode with the mined coins you have?

Is anyone troubled by that fact they dont have a white paper yet?

The whitepaper was released in the discord or slack, maybe someone can post it here as I saw it on Twitter a while ago now but can't seem to find it sorry. Most of the activity is in these groups so you might be better off joining them, I personally don't join them because I don't have the time to join all these groups as I am in many different coins. I prefer to just come on this forum to get everything I need.

I'm all for reading it. I love the concept and seems like a good project, however it seems extremely odd the whitepaper isnt on their own website. That is first thing when it comes to validating a good coin from a shit coin. Sounds great, but honestly 808 Coin has a better whitepaper than Rain! I'm seriously surprised anyone has put money into this without that being available.

Yes I do agree that the whitepaper should be on their website, I don't believe the whitepaper that was released in the slack group was complete and was just a rough copy, maybe that is why it was not posted on their website. I'm not 100% sure as I'm not in the slack group but I hope someone from the group can post it in here for you to read.

The RAIN whitepaper that circulated in the slack was indeed an unfinished proposal. It is being worked on and when it gets published, RAIN price shall climb. I think this project is one to watch!

Thank you! I remember the dev saying that he is still working on the proposal and that it was just a rough draft of the whitepaper. I just hope that the dev has found some other devs to help him out on the project as he did mention that some people have reached out to him. While we all wait, its best to just keep staking and earn those extra RAIN as they all add up fast and can very well be worth a lot more in the near future. Maybe the dev can give us an update on whether he has found people to help him out on the project.

one of my friends is setting up his store in San Antonio to accept Beans... He is thoroughly enamored with the idea. my other friend in Austria is already accepting Bitbeans... Point of sale is happening.

Publish to the public their contacts, order something via their website. Pizza, for example Wink
So what the friend's shop will sell?

He sells upscale T-shirts and stylish stuff. He has his own fashion line. Unique Knits

This is good to see as more people start accepting BeanCash as payment the more the word will spread. If I knew how to set up my own website and store, I would be accepting Beans and a few other cryptocurrencies for sure. I actually sell vegetable seeds on Ebay and was thinking about selling bean seeds for BeanCash instead of fiat, but first I must learn how to create a website and store which I'm currently doing.

what I did on my ebay was include that I will accept Bitbean as payment:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/50-PCI-E-PCI-E-Express-1X-to-16X-Riser-Card-USB-3-0-Extender-Cable-HERE-IN-USA/272767666851?hash=item3f82384aa3:g:biwAAOSwfsFZbp9~

Oh okay, I didn't know we could do that as Ebay might not like you adding BTC and BeanCash in the description? I was going to put BTC in my description a while ago but someone said that it was not allowed by Ebay. I take it that you haven't had any problems with Ebay? has anyone paid you in BeanCash or BTC yet? I'm interested to know as I might also start doing this.

what ebay did NOT like is when I was selling Bitbeans on there for cash. lol

Hmm that is strange because they seem to allow people selling BTC, LTC and even I have seen people selling ETH lol. Well I think I'll give this a go then adding my BeanCash address in the description as a way for people to pay for my items. I think the worse they can do is message me to take it off there so I'll try it out, thanks!

The good thing with MAY is that even though BTC is falling MAY is holding up strong and also the stakes are helping make up for the BTC price falling. This is why I love POS staking coins a lot because every time this happens staking coins seem to do well which MAY is currently doing. This coin really does need more exposure as no one really knows about this coin and how good it stakes and mines.

808coin community VS Pandacoin community........1. 808coin just 3Billion,,,,,,,Pandacoin 32Billion...2. 808coin old community is greedy they dont wait,,,,,pandacoin community not such greedy....3. all oldmembers having pandasold their coin to new community all greedy community replaced with new community............RESULT....808coin should replaced old greedy community with new patient community,,they should do small pump 3 to 4 stoshi and all greedy people sold their coins... 808coin have the ability even easily touch 0.1$ at the end 2018......

There are many of us old long term holders of 808 coin still here and haven't sold. I'm an old member of this community now and I don't like to be called greedy which I'm not. I have always stuck to my plan with this coin from the start, well after 6 months of not touching any coins and just let the stakes grow. I then started my plan which was to sell 30% of my stake every time I earn a stake and let the other 70% help build my staking weight. Yes we all need to sell at some point or else there is no point in buying a staking coin. I continue to do this now however my 30% I sell is put into a sell order and I let the buyers come to me. I have only even sold into a buy order once as I needed the funds in a hurry. Without some of us old members this coin would be dead already and that's a fact my friend. We need a good mix of old and new to keep this coin going well into the future and I can say that myself and many other older members here have done a lot for this coin along with our great dev MrEggman.

Hi Vella,
how many 808s do you need to stake to see good rewards?

Hello,

Thanks for your question, I would say to earn a stake within 15 days you will need at least 1 million 808 coins. If you want to earn a stake in 10 days or so then you'll need at least 5 million coins. It all depends on how often and how quick you want to stake? The network weight has been increasing over the past few months so that is why I'm telling you these amounts. Good luck my friend!

In times like this where everything is falling, POS coins seem to do well as the stakes can make up for the price of BTC falling. This is why I love MOIN so much as over the long term the stakes will out preform the BTC price falling.

On another note, we need more promotion for the raffle. I have been tweeting about this weekly to get more people joining in on this raffle. Maybe Jookly can let us know how its all going and if many people have participated so far.

For sure Vella, I am planning on doing a tally and update for this Sunday on the raffle.  Cool

Okay thanks mate! Maybe you could also post this raffle in the giveaway threads on this forum? That will hopefully bring exposure to the raffle as well as social media which I have been doing but again not much interest which is a shame as people are missing out on something here. Anyway I look forward to seeing the stats on Sunday and thanks again Jookly for everything you do for the MOIN community.

I had a thought. As it stands now, the POS reward is .5 , and also the masternode reward is .5. Should it not be that that masternodes reward more than the stakers?

My idea is this, to increase the POS reward to 2 VGS, and give 75% to the masternode holders (1.5 VGS). The stakers would still get .5 VGS. This would encourage more people to buy masternodes. I have put a poll up. The would be a more attractive ROI on the Masternode explorers.

Yes this is a great idea as masternode holders should always get more of the reward so I think what you have here is very good for the coin moving forward and yes it will bring in more people to own a masternode. At the same time as well we need the people staking to continue to support the network so maybe you could give 0.75 to people staking and 1.25 to masternode owners?

I also support the idea of 0.75 POS and 1.25 MN

I think everyone will be happy.

Personally I prefer POS  Smiley

i am also support this with 0.75 pos and 1.25 masternode. pos is also very important because it help support the network, if vegas makes this change then more people will stake as well for ones like i who not afford a masternode. i think it also bring more new people in vgs coin when they see a fix stake reward that is 0.75, like honey they have 2 coin stake reward fixed.

Its good to see some people support my idea on having 0.75 VGS for POS staking and 1.25 VGS for masternode owners but its really up to the dev on whether he will go this way or not. I'm not sure if he is interested as I got no reply from my post but if not then I'm happy to support the current change to 0.5 VGS for staking and 1.5 for masternodes. I just think that we also need to attract the people that love staking and can't own or run a masternode. That is why I came up with this idea. I would like to get the thoughts from the dev though to see what he thinks?

how many coins for mn.

There is no masternodes implemented in Honey and from what I understand there won't be any masternodes for Honey in the near future. However if you stake Honey its like owning and running a masternode as the POS reward per stake is fixed at 2 Honey coins which is very similar to a masternode coin. So I suggest you get some Honey and start staking and you'll see what I mean. I think Honey is perfect just the way it is without any masternodes.

Hi dev,

We have been waiting for weeks now for Cryptopia to list Ignition coin, is there any word on when they are going to list IC? I think it will be a good time to list it now as the price has been holding steady even though almost everything else is down right now. I think we could see a price rise once listed on there like it is with most coins that get listed on Cryptopia. I just hope its soon.

The last update we had from Cryptopia, is that they will list us at the latest during the week of Jan 21st (this week) -- It's not a promise, but it is nearly a sure thing, given no unforeseen things...

I am beginning to think that they aren't interested all that much because we got a very good listing price vs. what it is now.

Yeah its looking that way mate, but still Cryptopia should list Ignition as the fee has been paid no matter what the price it was. We are now into February and still Cryptopia are yet to list IC which is a shame. They seem to be concentrating on reopening the BTC markets for other coins which is fine but they should also list the coins that have paid the fee to be listed. Lets hope it isn't too long now. By the way dev has there been any word on this from Cryptopia?

4657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 01, 2018, 10:24:19 PM

Bangladesh is in an extremely strong position at 374/4 at the end of day 1. I do not think they will look at specific targets like 500, but would look to bat out day 2. If they manage to do that, Sri Lanka would be under pressure right from the start of the innings and would find it tough to avoid the follow on. They may have won the ODI tri-series but have looked far from convincing in Bangladesh

But Bangladesh failed to bat well today because their middle and lower order batsman failed to bat. SL bowling was much better than yesterday but Bangladesh still posted a good total of 513 runs in the first innings. Even though Sri Lanka last their first wicket for zero runs but second wicket started a very well and added already 123 runs and both are still playing well. If this Sri Lanka play like this then we don't see result from this match unless one of them collapse badly in second innings.

If the pitch is not supporting bowlers then what they can do?

Yes, this pitch looks like good for batting.

Yes Bangladesh had a good chance to make at least 600+ runs but it wasn't to be as SL bowled very well which was a big turn around from the previous day where they bowled terrible at times. SL recovered well after losing that early wicket and now they just need some big partnerships to help them get a decent sized total. Its going to be an interesting day ahead to see which team can get the upper hand in this test match. I also think it could be a draw as the pitch isn't doing much for the bowlers.

February 7th will be the last day for any coin swaps. This began 5 months ago so plenty of time have swapped coins.

If you participate in any of the FREE Footy Cash Competitions, contact Footy within 5 days of the contest along with your user name, email, and wallet address.

Its a good idea to spread this news on social media as well so people see and know about this. I always see people come and say oh I didn't know about the swap as they don't pay attention to what is going on so I hope we don't get anyone do that here. The problem is that people buy coins and just leave them on exchanges while not following the news updates on the coin/s. I'll be sure to make a tweet on Twitter about it unless you have already as I don't see one before I made this post.

Honey in my opinion would have to be one of the best staking coins there is paying a fixed rate of 2 coins per stake. It might not seem like much but when you start staking regularly they soon start to add up fast. If people are looking for a long term hold with the benefits of staking and earning extra coins then this is the one to get into now. I have a good feeling that this year will be huge for Honey once we start seeing new developments which I believe the dev is currently working.
