4641  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is wallet from exchanger safe? on: November 04, 2016, 12:01:30 AM
Besides xapo, coinbase and blockchain, I also use wallet from exchanger like from yobit, poloniex and bittrex. Sometimes I can't online for longtime because my career is sailor.

Is exchanger wallets safe?

To be honest, there is no online wallet that is 100% safe. Coinbase, Xapo or blockchain always can be hacked.. sorry, but this is the true.. Every few month we can hear about that next exchange was hacked. Actually, there is not many exchanges that haven't been hacked yet..

So the only safe place for you coins is your cold wallet!

Any kind of wallet has some risk, if it's on virtual world it's under risk... Doesn't matter if it's stored online, on desktop, etc...

The best way to have full safe would be have physical wallet in own our hands.
But you can loose physical wallet or someone can steal it like phobe from pocket. None of the wallets can guarantee 100% safety.

But physical wallet safety would depend only of me. On virtual world there are many things and persons involved (hackers, computer durability, scammers...)

I can let it quietly on my drawer, on a safe box without worries. But I agree with you, none of the storage methods are 100% safe. Physical wallet can be 99%.  Smiley

So how much i need to invest to earn 2000$ per month with investing in casino ?How much is roi?Is it bigger than in revenue share sites or not?

That is a lot of money to earn as passive income. You are talking about 3 BTCs monthly income without any effort. Using my example above, you would need about 120 BTCs investiment on the casino... But I'm not sure if the casino would accept this investiment amount. And the risk is very high, because unexpected things happen and the casino can be hacked, who knows...
4643  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: November 03, 2016, 10:04:03 PM
Tell to children play some internet games that pay Bitcoins. They will have fun and earn money at same time. And teach them to use faucets, so you can have a little extra income without make effort on faucets... It would be like a human bot.  Smiley

And to teach all the rest, just show them how this works. Create a wallet, make some transactions... Easy to explain to anyone, that is why I like Bitcoins. Anyone with some informatic knowledge can start using it without problems.
4644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Effects of Banning Bitcoin ? on: November 03, 2016, 10:00:25 PM
No, Russia has changed the law related BTC. They are now accepting BTC.

This decision proves that banning BTC in a country is not only not possible, but also not a smart decision because the countries that adapt BTC earlier will profit more in the future.

Do you have the reference for the unban of bitcoin in Russia. If that is true, the bitcoin will be very popular there.

Well, they unbanned Bitcoin because they said "it poses no threat to Russia's financial system" (at least until now...)

https://news.hodlhodl.com/news/russian-deputy-finance-minister-bitcoin-poses-no-threat-to-russia-s-financial-system-520

But it's already very popular there. Many people in Russia likes to invest on Ponzi, HYIP schemes with virtual currencies, principally Bitcoins.
Not only because the Ponzi investors, but many people there likes to use it like people of any other country.
4645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Effects of Banning Bitcoin ? on: November 03, 2016, 09:53:42 PM
Is true the rumor about China baning bitcoin?

Well, rumor or fact we can see the price going down, oh China...

No, they want to impose curbs. Set a maximum limit of money in Bitcoins that can leave the country in transactions.

Surely some state-owned power will be put on it, but they won't ban Bitcoin from the country. Government fears because many people are using this currency to cheat country fees, taxes.

Hi ! I would like to know what are the risks involved in investing in gambling sites like moneypot or other cryto casinos. Do people profit in the long run ? And what is an estimated amount of profit generated by it ?

I think investing in gambling will not make you rich over day.You won't make money like site owners do.But you can See sites overview here at Dicesites.com and invest sites who is profitable for investor at the moment.

It's not a big profit, but decent amount anyway... I invested 0.01 BTC (minimum amount) last week and actually I have about 6000 satoshis profit. It's not much, but if I invested 1 BTC, actually I would have 600K satoshis profit, a good amount for a passive income after 1 week, being a legit and trusted method.
4647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: November 03, 2016, 09:40:15 PM
to get $50-$100 from casino is not impossible mate
its easy to reach if we do high bet and have big lucky
but if you feel your profit is enough, just quit it
play on long run sometimes will make us busted

Well, let's think this daily profit in BTCs...

0.14 BTC = $100

If you have 1 BTC and is betting 0.1 BTC with 90% chance, you need to win 14 times to make your daily profit. High risk to get a consecutive loss, but possible with some luck as you said.  Smiley

If I would rich, I would try this...

4648  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Investments on: November 03, 2016, 09:35:34 PM
most of the replies are about investing in ponzi schemes and HYIP rather than good investment ideas, trading is a good idea as long as you have an idea about how virtual currency works.i would like to know whether all these investment companies are registered entities since it is really easy to fake all those things at this day and age. so how would you identify whether i am investing in a real business
That must be the reason, we are facing many scams now a days.
One possible solution must be studying about them and following them for long period of time will help us to get a clear picture on them. Still, a well planned a scam may go for a running for years.

Overall, risking very less amount would be the right way to have investments in others business.

If we know that those are the scams then why to invest even a small amount in it as they may give you returns at initial stage to gain trust from you and once you invest a bigger amount they will surely will not pay you anything and will run away with your investments, best investment is to hold your bitcoins for a long term.

It's really good to hold BTCs, but some people can't control themselves and want to invest on something just to feel better, daydreaming about a lot of profit that the investiment is making.

So, for those people, I think they could invest on casino bankrolls, it's a legit method to invest and would give a good return on medium-long term.
4649  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Bitcoin Business To Create? on: November 03, 2016, 09:29:03 PM
I think you could create a exchange site to buy and sell bitcoin. If you have time for it then do this manually otherwise make the system automated with scripts.
I do not think that you can create a bitcoin exchange that manages its operations manually instead of software, the cost will be prohibitive and it will be slower I don’t see any advantage for doing that.
Local exchange (bitcoin to fiat and vice versa) may get more attraction depending on the country you will be operating. But I believe alternative cryptocurrency exchange may face heavy competition as there are a lot of market giants are dominating already. Still, new innovations will bring success.

I think he could start selling and buying Bitcoins for his family, friends... And start offering this service to the local community until he makes enough profit to upgrade his business and start offering it for more people. (On this kind of business it's necessary a big investiment, because we need to have cash every moment to sell or buy the coins).

The profit comes from the fees you take for you.
4650  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Venezuelans are turning to bitcoin as the bolívar crumbles on: November 03, 2016, 09:26:11 PM
Congratulations for them... But it's not enough. They don't have food on super-markets, don't have medicines, critical situation there. They need much more than Bitcoins to save their country. Surely BTCs can help them a bit, because they will earn a valuable currency from the internet, much better than their current local currency. Let's see what happen...
4651  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Increase my bitcoins. on: November 03, 2016, 09:23:01 PM
I don't think it's easy to double your money. If you want a investiment, try to invest on casino bankrolls, on medium, long term you will make some profit. It won't be a lot of money, but your money will increase anyway.

I'm giving you this idea, because it's an easy way to earn without effort. You just send your money there and get income from it. There are another methods like trading, but it's risk.

But these kind of immediate money profit will not provide a profit as expected or you may loose the bitcoin by that. better and best way is hold your bitcoin and make profit or we have enroll in any good signature campaign to get the good payment every week.

Yeah, that is what I mean. Immediate money only comes from fraudulent schemes which the risk to lose the investiment is much biggest, like the Ponzi and HYIP schemes. Some people can double their money with that, but it's not a good method and the most investors lose money.

Signature campaigns are good as you said, but aren't a investiment method to earn passive income.
4652  Economy / Services / Re: Post this on Twitter/facebook/Social media for BTC on: November 03, 2016, 09:19:32 PM
Campaign is PAUSED due to low funds until escrow address gets refilled.

Looks this campaign is paused yet, no?

Will these people posting here be counted for the next payment?
4653  Economy / Securities / Re: Putting 10 BTC to good use on: November 03, 2016, 09:17:51 PM
I would put all my 10 BTCs on a dice game. So, I would make $40 dollars daily in bitcoins easily. With a big bankroll I doubt any casino can defeat me.
Or I would buy a business for me to make money working.

U don't play against casino, u play against other users. Yes, they can and often they do defeat you.

The players can defeat me, but when the casino starts making profit again I will earn the profit with them. Nothing to fear... That is what I understood about this kind of investiment (what was told to me).

Wow. I read all of the comments. Wow. People are really this naive? A Legendary member saying he's never heard of a hack from Blockchain.info?

I may be fairly new to this forum but holy crap are you kidding me people?! Blockchain.info had tons of funds stolen when someone found out their method of creating private keys. In layman's terms basically what they did is take something like 74937473983 and create a private key from it. The next was 74937473984, then 74937473985 etc. (Obviously not that simple, but you get the gist of it).

No they weren't hacked you're right. They made it so blatantly obvious how to get everyone's private keys that they didn't need to be hacked in the traditional sense.

You didn't hear about this? Really? No one? Then maybe trying googling it. Wow! I'm seriously blown away by the terrible advice people give to newcomers. Shame on you.

Don't use a web wallet. Why? It is the most vulnerable type of wallet there is. It's just a fact.

Edit: adding links
https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/blockchain-info-security-update/

http://www.coindesk.com/blockchain-info-issues-refunds-to-bitcoin-theft-victims/

That was a isolated fact... Don't judge all online wallets services by this situation happened on 2014. Everybody knows that it's 100% safe, but it's not so bad as you are saying. Any other kind of wallet for Bitcoins has risks also.

If it was so bad as you are saying, the number of users would be smaller and you won't be seeing a lot of positive feedbacks here.
4656  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What if the wallets would run away with the money on: November 03, 2016, 09:08:06 PM
It's often discussed that, Hyip, ptc scams are normal. What happens if the wallets like coinbase and xapo and others decided to walk away with the money what will happen, though I am sure it will never happen but just out of curiosity

Haven't heard of a wallet running yet. But it happens with exchanges, hyip, ptc, etc , so who's to say it won't ever happen with wallets. Doesn't matter how long they've been operating or whether they're making enough money off of fees. So long as they decide to run and take off with all their depositor's money, nothing we could really do. Or, they don't even need to run, they could just say they've been hacked. lol. Nothing new there.

Which is why I personally only put enough on my web wallets for payments, etc. Small amounts only.

To prevent this kind of fear from users, the wallet owners should provide their personal informations, like business address and all other informations that can help users to find this person if they lose their money, be hacked... Surely it would be dangerous for wallet owner also, because someone could try to extort him for money. Complicated situation.
4657  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Steam accepting btc - will it affect the forum market? on: November 03, 2016, 09:03:07 PM
Time passed since steam started to accept bitcoins as option of payment in their store. Price is higher then before accepting, and this is one of the reasons I think. One big store like steam have influence on market.
How much exactly did accepting bitcoins in big companies have effect on price is difficult to calculate, nevertheless this is a good thing, and I hope more companies will start to accept bitcoins in future.

I don't think bitcoin price goes up because Steam, think with me...
Who will buy bitcoins to spend on Steam? It's more easily just buy directly with fiat
For sure it benefits the bitcoin users but none will buy bitcoins to spend, you will have exchange taxes + fees.
I buying some games from there with my bitcoin, yesterday. I guess I never buying steam directly with fiat, dude. totally there is not people are buying the steam with fiat even they have a lot of money, your logic is not run. but totally steam just accepting some online payment and not about the direct payment like using fiat and you always need for depositing your money into some form of the E-money.

I'm also not buying games from steam directly with the bitcoin but this is simply because the prices here are cheaper and because of that also more attractable, I only buy things on steam with the Christmas sale to be honest.

That is a good idea, Christimas promotions are very good, we can save a lot of money when buying games there. I think I will wait this sale to buy a game for BTCs there... Their Bitcoin rates are fairest now and with the Christimas sale it become even better.

You should check out my ad network https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1668010.0
Place some ads on your site and earn bitcoins

Another ads idea is this one: https://www.adsoptimal.com/

There is a nice faucet using this ads network and they pay rate is very good, but looks a bit hard to join. Anyway, for who is interested in making a high paying faucet should give a look on it.
4659  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how can i safe from scamer members.. on: November 03, 2016, 02:54:27 PM
Some members sending me pm about trading and other services and other bitcoin talk service.. how can i know this member asking me real or want to scam with me...

Just don't do any deal with unknown forum members. If you want to buy or sell something use an escrow, so your transaction will be safe and you don't need to worry about scammers. There are a lot of scammers here and you must be alert everytime, just don't be fool to believe them.
4660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do people around you think about Bitcoin ? on: November 03, 2016, 02:50:31 PM
There are different opinions about it. Some people think this is a dangerous scheme that can crash any moment and I'm just losing my time here, another people think it's a good and revolutionary way to do transactions and pay for services, products. At this moment I just want to proof to the first kind of people that BTCs is a legit currency and way to live.
