4641  Economy / Lending / Re: [Request] Small Loan on: June 11, 2020, 05:44:30 AM
Without having some prior trade feedback your chance of getting a loan is close to zero. Not rubbing in the fact that you having posting in reversible money transaction threads in "Currency Exchange" for the last few days which are considered as a very risky mode of buying/selling crypto.

To successfully get a loan here you would have to pledge something as a valid collateral. Otherwise its better you go to your local pawn shop and ask a loan.
4642  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best Exchange on: June 11, 2020, 05:31:18 AM
I'm starting on crypto and I'm looking for a good exchange.
I've tried to trade on some platforms but they are not enough.
It would be best if you reply here with the exchanges that you used already as you say, so it becomes better to known to others that you are facing problems with them.

But if you want to take an unbiased advice, you should seek out some people from your own country and check what they are using. A cryptocurrency exchange needs testing first to see which one "suits" you better. Its not always about biggest volume. So dont fall for those, rather see if there is any exchange running from your country and accepting local currency. If yes then its best to get your verified with them and use that for exchanges.

Obviously this wont work if you are going to launder money. Roll Eyes
4643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How long will Bounty hunters continue to be helpless? on: June 10, 2020, 10:42:05 AM
scammers have taken over crypto space and they are building unrealistic projects to fool investors,
I wont say to that extreme but yes you have to consider every new project to be a borderline scam and thus shove it away when presented in front of you. Some investors who get fooled are not worthy to be called investors anymore if they are still putting money in non-legal securities like ICO coins. They should know better how to take care of their money and these are only wannabes get-rich-quick people.

Quote
with the help of bounty hunters they get things done easily and in the end they either don't pay at all or ruin their promises and split the reward,
Better to focus your time on learning something skillful than wasting time on bounties. Bitcoin paying campaign are also going on, which is a good thing to join though.

Quote
no law is holding them back, they have nothing to be scared of, project teams can do any how they feel like
Sadly it is true. Once you give them your money, it is gone. Whatever coin they sell to you, it is worthless anyway.
4644  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading mistakes on: June 10, 2020, 10:37:18 AM
The main mistake of a trader is to hope for luck and trade manually
Then you are speaking of gambling and not trading.

Spot trading needs skills and is not a mere play of luck. People work it out and try to match it though not every time do the indicators work out like a puzzle. Still people make money by speculating and buying low and selling at high prices. Some even go for the risky things like margin trading, Futures and Options which are the derivatives market provided by some exchanges.

Now if you are doing your homework on this and investing in those coins that are having a long term value, that is bitcoin only (Grin) Then it is no longer a gamble but a good long term investment provided that you sell at a profit.
4645  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reputation at stake will you stop gambling on: June 10, 2020, 10:34:02 AM
If you care about the people then you will not be able to play or enjoy gambling.
Honestly speaking, is it not what keeps us away from getting too much into the murky side of life? The reason people stop gambling is because they wasted too much money on it and not with family. But of course it is their own choice. If someone enjoys gambling then should do it as a responsible adult.

Quote
Just forget what people say and think about you if they find you are doing gamble and you stick to what you are doing.
The social stigma is often unbearable for some people. But online casinos should stop this problem. Since during this period people are playing from home too.

Quote
If gambling is illegal in your area, then you should hide this fact that you play gambling  to avoid any legal action against you, but in all other cases, you should freely play gambling.
Even in the places where casinos are illegal the operators find some or the other way to provide gambling games, so it should not be an issue though a risky one to take. But hey, gamblers are risk takers. Cheesy
4646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the safest crypto online games to start if you are a Newbie? on: June 09, 2020, 05:40:01 AM
This is somewhat true to an extent, but the odds for sportsbetting are adjusted by bookies so that the risk incurred is proportional to the payout.
Too much difference in bookies odds used to be a thing of the past. I dont think that is much more applicable nowadays. Some shady or local bookies who might be hard to find have difference in odds, but use them at your own risk.

But there are some rare type bets, like who gets the first touch, how many wickets someone picks etc which have higher oods because they are difficult to predict and become more of a dice game inside a sports game. Grin

You know who's favored, you know who's the underdog, and your potential winnings take all this into account.
The underdog does not always lose though and many games can end up as a draw.

Dice is a simplistic bare bones system of gambling and sports betting uses the same system but attaches athletes to the mix.
I think sports is more dynamic than just putting some players to run around and bet on who wins. Still its a matter of perspective. Cool
4647  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto's economic value is surprisingly low :'( on: June 09, 2020, 05:34:39 AM
Bitcoin is still in its baby steps if that is what you mean to say, I would agree. Now the acceptance of bitcoin is gradually growing but the world economy takes a lot of time to change from one mode to another, we should be happy that bitcoin has reached these figures already.

Huge numbers would not happen so quickly. As time passes on we have seen more merchants accepting bitcoin and more countries allowing bitcoin to be traded without blanket bans compared to other countries. This is why we can optimistic about the future acceptance and usage of bitcoin.

However that does not mean that bitcoin will turn the tables to banks. Nope, the banks and hedge funds are way more clever to understand and predict this and they will be accumulating bitcoin too in order to gain market control.
4648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Sometimes hunters are to be blame on: June 09, 2020, 05:28:21 AM
One thing is bother me, after the end of the bounty many bounty hunters stop promoting the project.
Many but not all. Some of them whole-heartedly believe that the project is going to be big even if they are made of fool of by others. This is what makes it look bad for that person, eventually he/she will understand that they have put their money into the rabbit hole and would have to hold on to those coins for years to come. Point is that team owners dont care and they started it for making money anyway.

But yes majority of bounty hunters are like that. They blindly promote something hoping it will be big and they get paid for it.

4650  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade and make a profit in a Volatile market on: June 08, 2020, 06:19:31 AM
At least, if the market is volatile, and you have the skills to analyze the market, I am sure you will get the right time to enter the market. You can expect to make a profit from the volatility of the market, but you need to be careful because the chance for you to get lost will be there.
The market has been a bit more volatile lately with the halving completed bitcoin now trying to touch 10k USD but still lingering around 9k. It can go both up and down so better to keep some liquid cash at hand to buy.

You can always short sell when a drop is going on. Sell at the market price and buy back at lower price. The sequence is opposite but essentially the same as buying low and selling high. So these things can be taken advantage of.

Quote
It is always exciting to trade in the volatility of the market because that can make your heart become faster than before.
Right, but dont want any heart attacks during this season do we? Cheesy
4651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Enhanced restriction in gambling casinos is it possible on: June 08, 2020, 06:15:04 AM
Also, public casinos is always crowded, so it will be unfair for everyone who wants to gamble inside the casino if the casino is limited entries.
You understand that the government also needs money right? Taxation from fiat gambling is a big part of the government's income in those countries where gambling is legal. This is one the reason of the "lift lockdown" mentality but lets not talk about that here.

So if norms are being followed they will likely pass an audit that makes it seem that the casino is clean and hygienic to pass local authorities and then restart operations. Now this is just a covering to pass on, you have to take your health in your own hands and decide what you will do, gamble outside or gamble from home? After all if you get infected, you will not be able to implicate the casino as a reason obviously. Grin
4652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Newbie and Bounty campaign. on: June 08, 2020, 06:09:23 AM
instead of just new projects, but sometimes there are old projects that have not yet entered the popular market, for example like easyfeadbeck they have made sales at tokpie and almost 1 year more have not yet entered the popular market as well, even though their project is in my opinion an active project
The projects like them may get listed but the point is that every project needs a product to rely on and to develop it further. If that is being underdeveloped or neglected by their devs for whatever reason the project will not get enough marketing. Demand does not generate completely on its own even by the investors. There needs to be an organic growth of new investors because of the market of that product. Most projects failed to develop that market.

There is also the problem of some exchanges predating on coin offerings and asking them huge listing fees. This is a side effect of crypto not being regulated. But that can be prevented if you just stick to bitcoin and the top altcoins.
4653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tactile controllers when playing online. on: June 07, 2020, 05:32:15 AM
I think with the increase in the tactile controllers for the gaming giants we might see them coming in the gambling industry soon. Whoever starts this as a new project is going to get a good amount of audience.

After all casinos survive on the sensory rush of the player and if that could be brought to the extremes then they would not stop it would they? Cheesy
This could also be the next big thing to market the crisis situation with a real life feel of being in a casino while actually in your home.

Futuristic eh. Virtual casino tours anybody?
4654  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Brought Bitcoin in 2017 and sold in 2018 on: June 07, 2020, 05:26:22 AM
I think you're the luckiest person, you bought Bitcoin before bullrun.
I think the user said "unlucky" and not lucky. But it depends on perspective of what the trader wants. Grin

Quote
Now you know how to handle this situation. Cryptocurrency situation is becoming more good before 2018. Everything will be same after halving is over. Next year the whole crypto cap will be trillion l, so you don't need to worry about your hold Ripple.
Well your post before halving and now that halving is over nothing really changed to bad did it? Rather bitcoin on average is above 9k USD everyday now and holding that level. Its not coming down easily from there but you can expect it come down in case someone decided to dump their stash.

Ripple is a centralized shitcoin, just because it gives a fast transaction does not make it better as a store of value. Maybe it can be thought as a quick transfer method at the most. Tongue
4655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How long will Bounty hunters continue to be helpless? on: June 07, 2020, 05:20:22 AM
I don't agree to the part where you stated that bounty is free money.
You dont have to agree or disagree. We are all entitled to our own opinions.

Quote
Bounty is not airdrop so I don't see how it is free money.
Airdrop is a way of collecting people's personal data for selling on the internet. Did you know that? Thats why I like to use the words like that. Bounties are not bad things but they have been made to look in the context of ICOs and so on has been bad. It was supposed to be a rewarding system for the people who promoted the project and from there is went to a spamming fest to make money by less income countries.

Quote
Don't forget that hunters also expend mental and material resources to promote the project. So bounty reward is payment for marketing work done.
Thats correct and I hate to say that bounty hunters if having such skills are wasting them by writing articles and doing translations. Rather they should use it on bitcoin paying services and real life work. Because in the end bounty tokens are 99% going to be useless while bitcoin and fiat are not.
4656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Crash game more risky ? on: June 06, 2020, 05:54:37 AM
Correct, if we compare it with crypto investing, it's like investing a coin that has a very low value now and you think it will rise in the future, therefore you risk now but it's considered a very high risk.
I dont think that is a good comparison though specially about crash game with even altcoins. Because in Crash, if the arrow goes down you will be bust and left with zero. However when you are buying an asset to speculate its price, you have something at hand even if the price does go down.

Since I prefer bitcoin over any altcoin for the investment purpose, it will definitely not be similar to Crash if bought at low price.

Quote
Everyone should put in their mind that anything or any game that has a house edge, it will never make a gambler win consistently in the long run.
True that. Crash has its house edge and it will be bust even if the multiplier keeps growing on and on. So people should gamble responsibly.
4657  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Uber or Airbnb running on bitcoin on: June 06, 2020, 05:50:24 AM
I never paid, it was always company use when we missed our public bus, but I always thought, how do people use BTC when even simple card payments are hard?
Sorry to hear about your bad Uber experience, I am lucky enough to have polite and accomdating drivers till date but I know many people have faced similar issues. But I wont comment more on that because I believe every problem can be solved in a diplomatic manner without the need for rudeness.

Anyway bitcoin use in Uber/airbnb can only be if the provider is going to accept it. It might be nice to ask the driver if they are accepting bitcoin or not when starting the ride, in case they fumble just give them cash or kind.

But still bitcoin transaction will take time and often we are in a hurry to pay and leave and linger by the cab. So it does not seem feasible unless the lightning network in brought in place. Grin
4658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How long will Bounty hunters continue to be helpless? on: June 06, 2020, 05:45:26 AM
I won't put the blame on the team if they denied bounty hunters their rewards, that is Bounty Manager's job,
You have no idea what you are talking about. The manager is only a facilitator or a middle man involved in managing the campaign. If the team does not pay or wish to pay, the manager is having their hand tied to pay the hunters.

If you want to blame someone blame yourself for joining that campaign and the temptation for free money. Cheesy

Quote
BM is the only law standing between bounty hunters and the team of that project, it's why I prefer joining bounties from a bounty manager with good rep, as a good BM he or she must do everything in his/her power to make sure bounty participants get their rewards
LOL this type of self-entitlement is what makes the bounty hunters arrogant and illogical.

Also know that many managers have paid out from their own pocket just because they were denied payment by the team as an act of goodwill because the manager also felt bad for the hunters. Roll Eyes

Dont even talk about anything related to legal, coin offering are anyway not legalized securities and so you are at your own risk on buying them or earning them in the case of bounty hunters.
4659  Economy / Securities / Re: Dividents/Stocks on: June 05, 2020, 12:55:40 PM
OP, whatever you invest in do not go for the "passive income" system that NEXO or Celsius and now defunct SALT Lending had started. Basically you cannot trust them with your money while you can trust your money on bitcoin itself. Why hand it over to another lending platform like them to manage when they are giving your money like bank deposit when you can invest in other legally compliant sectors?

I can see some shills here promoting them but I hope you will do your own research on them before going in.

On the other hand stock market is at least regulated and are legal securities if you know what you can put your money into. You should diversfy your assets there instead of buying shitcoins. Bitcoin is the only crypto that you would need to keep from this sector, forget about the rest and any other "staking"/bullshit promises.
4660  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Mellow ads accept advertisements from Bitcoin doubler websites on: June 05, 2020, 07:33:22 AM
Since the time when faucets went "down", one due to stopping of Google Ads and second due to the rise of bitcoin price above the three digit number, the crypto-niche Ad companies have faced problem in having a steady flow traffic and money.

baztardo has been away for 3years now. I dont think there will be any response from them after this long time, but people need to be careful as to what they are putting their money in. Opinion is divided among whether promoting a scam is equal to scamming, while I go for this option, many dont.

When I used their site back in 2016, I remember the "no Adult/HYIP/casino" while posting an ad, not sure if it is still applicable. Got some good number of referrals back then on some sites.
