4641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lopez vs Kambosos - Aug 14 on: August 29, 2021, 09:54:16 PM

We will talk about a rematch after this fight as it's not certain yet on who will win although Lopez here is a heavy favorite. We know that upset happen in any sport, especially in the sports of boxing, so let's see how conditioned Lopez is after he got infected with covid-19.

This was reported last June 29 this year.
https://www.dazn.com/en-US/news/boxing/teofimo-lopez-still-very-sick-with-coronavirus/btw4n2raikzx1bqewbipzbo6i

It's a mild case I'm sure he'll be back to his old and dangerous form he has a great training camp and conditioning coach, I don't think his getting infected with Covid will have an impact at all on his performance in case he loses I hope he will not blame CoVid as the case, this is a fight between two boxers who are eager to engage and the fight could go either way.
4642  Economy / Speculation / Re: People are panic buying right now! on: August 29, 2021, 09:38:17 PM
when the price starts to bull market, there must be panic buying in the market. and vice versa when the price starts to fall repeatedly, the fomo will also be on the market. in my opinion, it is this habit that makes people greedy in determining their trading style. if I myself because I have decided to invest and trade long term so stay relaxed looking at the market.

People especially newbies have a FOMO mindset they don't want to be left behind they are more confident in buying when the price is going up instead of buying when the price is going down when the best advice is to buy cheap and sell low, but they don't want to be positive when the market is going down, they don't want an opportunity to make a future profit and it will only happen when the market is in bear.
4643  Economy / Speculation / Re: The arrival of new people in the world of cryptocurrency is really fun on: August 29, 2021, 03:05:05 PM
It's impressive to see new people keep coming and want to know more about the cryptocurrency world as a whole, google brings new users here to find out what we really should be doing in bitcointalk in particular and cryptocurrencies in general.
Continue to take advantage of this opportunity, learn more sources to expand knowledge, I also want to say welcome to join Bro, this is the most fun discussion place and can provide financial benefits for anyone who has joined, with terms and conditions still valid.

SPIRIT FRIENDS

It's good that we have new people coming in, it's what we need if we want this technology to move further, but we old members of this technology must guide these new people from the reality of investing in Cryptocurrency, many of them are attracted to the get rich scheme side of investing in Cryptocurrency because this is what other investors are preaching and announcing, when in fact there's a lot of deception and many scam projects are looking to prey new people.
4644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dead Coins on: August 29, 2021, 02:00:59 PM
Do you hold any dead coins?

'Dead Coins refer to cryptocurrencies that have been abandoned, used as scam, their website is down, has no nodes, has wallet issues, doesn't have social updates, has low volume or developers have walked away from the project.'

How should we manage dead coins?

There's nothing we can do with these dead coins and it will cost you a lot of fees if you transfer them to a new wallet for dead coins, it's an eyesore seeing these dead and shitcoins, some of them remind you of coins that scammed you and wasted your effort, I have over 50 shit and dead coins I stopped using my old address and create a new one for my bounty campaigns.

4646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Gambling Affiliate Marketing state 2019 on: August 29, 2021, 11:28:45 AM

My hypothesis is that it's getting harder and harder in the crypto gambling industry to exist as the affiliate and there aren't many new players who'd like to start gambling with crypto. And because of that the affiliation is getting less important for the bookies & casinos.

Therefore I'd like to start a discussion for all the people who earn cryptos from affiliate commissions: How do you feel about the affiliate market currently? Did you see any shifts (increase/decrease) in your traffic/earnings recently? Did you make any changes to your affiliate strategy that made a huge increase? Have bookies/casinos made anything in the recent months to help you increase your earnings?

I'm not acting as an affiliate in gambling site where I have an account but I have 3 referrals and I'm earning from their wagers if you are dedicated to affiliate marketing of online gambling casinos you must explore other venues and platforms it's all on your mindset, there are always people who want to play in Crypto gambling casinos they just need someone who can lead them there in the right way and on the right   casinos to play

4647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2020 caused a spike in gambling issues on: August 29, 2021, 03:52:10 AM
As we know gambling addictions and all kind of addictions went up during the pandemic as people tried to find a way to cope with the stress of being on their homes, however it seems that the return of live sports is causing problems to some gamblers that have been struggling with addiction as a charity organization revealed the event caused a spike of 28% on the helpline calls they received during that time, this is problematic as those that developed the habit during the pandemic were very limited on the number of events they could bet on, but as restrictions are lifted the options increased and they have no way to deal with this.

What do you think would be the best option to those that are experimenting these issues right now? Should they stop watching sports forever as this is the trigger that causes them to gamble without control or should another solution be possible?

https://news.sky.com/story/euro-2020-tournament-caused-spike-in-gambling-problems-says-charity-which-warns-of-return-of-live-sports-12387574

They are excited to go back to normal lives and they missed a lot of things and one of them is betting offline like betting on casinos and Euro 2020 not only these events many more events that are going to launch are going to attract bettors, they missed doing this after a long lockdown and we can't blame them, they just want to do again what they love doing in the pre-pandemic.
4648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BITGESELL - Store of value (Burn rate is 90% of tx fees) #realstoreofvalue on: August 29, 2021, 01:06:56 AM

What is again the main reason why they created WBGL? Is that to serve both ETH and BSC users? Though it seems that their price increased a lil bit but this added feature has not created much hype yet. As ordinary crypto user, what is the main use of BGL coin right now? I haven't seen any platform accepting BGL as payment yet.

They've just created it, it will take some time to create an impact on the price it is meant to cater to users and developers who are active in the Binance smart contract, there's no need to create a huge hype the price is moving nicely it's stable when we are in the bear market and more so now that we are in the bull market.
4649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: August 28, 2021, 11:57:24 PM
It seems Casimero want this fight so badly that he is willing to travel to Japan just to fight Inoue
Casimero willing to travel to Japan for Inoue fight

Here is what his manager Sean Gibbons says
Quote
“Let me put it this way. The guy’s (Casimero) been to nine countries, won three world titles in nine different countries,” said Gibbons as quoted by BoxingScene. “Japan’s the last one. It’ll be number 10, when he knocks Inoue out. We love Japan. We love the Japanese people, love to fight there.

Casimero is a real journeyman when it comes to boxing he has won a lot of fights in other countries some of them in his enemy's territory, just to prove that he can take out anyone, anyplace.
4650  Economy / Economics / Re: The reason to hodl bitcoin on: August 28, 2021, 03:12:02 PM
Here's a simple reason that I believe is why I am still hodling bitcoin, it's because what I have today might be double or even triple in months if not years or it could also be years plus it's a good way to make your money grow, having nothing to do with it, you can let it stay there for a long period of time and hopefully expect it to go up.

You should be comfortable hodling your Bitcoin because it's not a guaranty that it will make you money, the market is not stable and it's very volatile and also it's important what price you bought your Bitcoin if you are already made ten times profit and you got your investment back it's ok to hodl Bitcoin as you already break even and what you are holding is your profit.
4651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: August 28, 2021, 11:40:57 AM
The last time I checked he was at +550. Anyway I will be going for him. Canelo is not looking like he is invincible. Already we had an upset a few days ago (Yordenis Ugás vs Manny Paquiao) and I guess the time is right for another one.

It's risky but it's a big jackpot if Caleb Plant upsets Canelo and you bet on Caleb Plant, but I beg to disagree on the comparison when it comes to upset, upsets can happen but it is not something people expected, and no one expects an upset it just comes when all least expects it to happen, could be a lucky punch or the other boxer is injured or come unprepared.
4652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: help me, to recover 19 BTC on: August 28, 2021, 04:25:29 AM
hello first of all I would like to introduce, my name is Dimas Putra Pratama. I come from Indonesia.
I was given this account by a close friend of mine.
strangely I have known BTC for a long time in 2015, even I bought about 19 BTC at a price of $210 with a capital of around $4000, but I only found out about this forum in 2021 and was also told by my friend.

so, i have about 19 BTC and i keep it in blockchain.com mobile wallet. bad thing happened to me that my phone was stolen by someone in 2016, even i feel frustrated after seeing current BTC price  Embarrassed. At that time I also registered using the cellphone number +6287**** , made a 4 pin code and the number was saved on the cellphone, I couldn't do much to try to access it because all the data was stored on the cellphone,on the one hand I still have a copy (Prahse Secret Privatkey Recovery) but I'm missing the (Prahse Secret Privatkey Recovery) at paragraph 12  Cry
I want to ask for help from the community here to help me, is there any possibility to get BTC back? if anyone can do it then i don't mind giving 3 BTC bonus.

You can try the service section but it's not a guaranty that they can fully recover your account and there's a risk that they will not let go of those coins if they recover, this should be a lesson to every newbie and even to old investors to always keep your private keys in a safe where you or people you trust can access, and to all newbies to defer or do not invest yet unless you know how to secure your wallet, everything depends on your knowledge of Cryptocurrency.
4653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gas Fee Of BNB Is Increasing on: August 28, 2021, 01:50:38 AM
All eyes are on the BNB due to the increase in Ethereum's gas fee. Thinking about the beginning, it can be understood that the BNB's gas free is increasing day by day. Although I don't know the exact reason behind it, the curiosity is there.

It's still cheap compared to what Ethereum is offering, people are now using Binance Smart Chain more, Binance offers a bridge to some coins so you can transact them on Binance, Binance is taking this opportunity because traders are looking for cheap fees and fast transaction, just this day I transacted with Binance and Ethereum and was charged 20 cents on Binance and $3 on Ethereum, can you see the difference.
4654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest more than you can afford to lose? on: August 27, 2021, 11:40:15 AM
Some people said that 'Don't invest more than you can afford to lose.'
Do you agree?

If you failed to follow this you are going to end up losing everything, cryptocurrency market is highly volatile you never know when you wake up the condition of the market, you could lose everything, newbies should take this at heart, there's a lot of temptation to pour always dig deep in every project that comes along, not all that glitters are gold, and there are so many projects here that's full of deception. hype and fomo.
4655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anderson Silva vs Tito Ortiz on September 11 on: August 27, 2021, 10:15:32 AM

This is the fight that we are not certain of the result of, they are MMA fighters, and this is boxing, so we can't use their past performance as the basis of this fight. I'm sure it's not an easy fight of either fighter as it's a different sport although it's the same considered as contact sport.

I have not seen Ortiz box, but Silva is so good when he fought Chavez Jr. he showcases his skill in boxing and he box like a boxer who fought many fights, he is a good boxer than an MMA and this fight is another feather in his cap, although he is so good he cannot match up top  middleweight in the industry but his skill is enough to beat Ortiz,
4656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 61 year old plays the same numbers since 1991 and wins 18 millions on: August 27, 2021, 12:09:14 AM
I would have thought the game play was conducted weekly which would bring your calculation down to 30(y) X 52(w) X $36 = $ 56,160 (give or take - based on the today dollar values for the three game panels played)

That's right. According to the article, the lottery where that man won is rolling twice a week.

We just don't know if that man is also betting on other lottery tiers making it a daily basis. It makes more cost because he has 3 sets of numbers.

But with this computation, daily or weekly, still an insane amount to spend. That man is even a hardcore gambler compare to the usual gambler.

He has big faith in the numbers he is betting for the last 30 years, I doubt if he is counting the money he spent betting on his favorite numbers, he cannot keep up if he is counting, I cannot sustain this for 30 years with the same numbers, yes I bet on the lottery but it's always random because I don't want to have attachments on particular numbers, it will make me a lottery addict if I do.
4657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: August 26, 2021, 11:00:53 PM
Not a big fan of Caleb Plant, but I want him to win this match. Canelo cheated GGG of victories not once, but twice (with some help from subhuman judge Adelaide Byrd). Anyway, in this case Plant is from the United States, and I expect the judges to be more neutral. For him, this is the biggest fight so far in his career. BTW, I guess this is the first time we are having a four-belt unification fight, after a long duration (for any weight category). Currently Josh Taylor (Light welterweight) is the only boxer who have managed to unify all the four belts. BTW, there are rumors that Alvarez may move to light heavyweight after this fight.
I guess a lot of us would also disagree that Canelo cheated GGG, that was a close fight and I think Canelo deserves that win. We want to see the 3rd match, but it seems like it's not gonna happen but what Canelo has been showing, he showed dominance in boxing and if GGG and Canelo will fight for the 3rd time, I guess Canelo has the edge as he is the younger fighter and a more active one.

I saw the two fights and I'm not a fan of both fighters but I agree with the decision of the judges on both fights the first and the second match, it's a close fight and the fight could go either way, it's on the appreciation of the judges but yeah I agree on you that there should be a third match to settle once and for all and there's a possibility of a fourth match if GGG wins but Canelo is on another level now.
4658  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin a good investment in this pendamic situation? on: August 25, 2021, 10:08:48 PM
It's a good investment when a pandemic just starting out but unfortunately only a few invested when the market crash, there are so many FUDS back then and we have seen how the market rose from a few months after the pandemic, when after the collapse of the other markets they move to the Cryptocurrency and from there the market recovers and made those risk-takers huge profits.
4659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Axie Infinity - A new Ethereum game similar to CryptoKitties [SPECIAL PRE-SALE] on: August 25, 2021, 12:46:58 PM

years ago I asked the team about it and they said they weren't able to keep up with all social media and that members were welcome to spread the word where they could

I think this is pretty amazing to be honest, they still don't invest in marketing
just imagine when they do

I'm not into Axie but they don't need the marketing at all they started the play to earn trends and many new projects are now imitating their formula, here in our country it's a piece of big news because many people are posting their income from Axie that the government is now taxing Axie players, I hope they can sustain this many people left their jobs to play Axie.
4660  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price last until the end of the year? on: August 24, 2021, 09:41:16 AM
Since a few months ago, a lot of people have been having discussions about the price of Bitcoin whether it will reach the price of $50K. Precisely today, the Cryptocurrency market seems to answer the analysis of many people about the price of Bitcoin that today Bitcoin has reached $50K. Will the price last until the end of the year or will the price of Bitcoin go back down.
There's an indication that it will remain or even surpass the current all-time high set this year, the third quarter of this year and the fourth quarter of this year has been good for the market, we have reached the $50k when just last month Bitcoin almost dropped to below $30k below, I think we are going better before the end of this year we might end up $80k before the year-end.
