4641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think crypto is going to replace the dollar? Jack: Yes, Bitcoin will on: December 26, 2021, 11:49:21 PM
I do not get why people want the dollar or fiat to be replaced.... But truth is fiat is still with us for quite a long time and digital currencies still have a long way to go before the masses buy into this idea of going digital. The best this that can ever happen is have dual currencies around the world without restrictions but then again this would mean that the central government will lose control of its monetary duties which our governments will not signup for!!
4642  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin resistance and support price on: December 26, 2021, 11:44:27 PM
I am not ready to sell my bitcoin because I know its price will increase back, I do not mind if it will take time but I know it will increase back. But recently the price of bitcoin has been decreasing, before it was at a resistance of $60000 but now it is at a resistance of $55000. I am thinking bitcoin price may never increase for now back to above $60000. The support is strong at $50000 and bitcoin has not falled to the level at all but is this not the begining of the bearish market?
in trading people use support and resistance but others tend to use order blocks which are either bullish or bearish in nature and seeing how price has been behaving of late  its safe to say that price has moved into the bullish order block which means we should be seeing a pullish to the upside away from the  $50000 support zone and maybe we should see 70k come next near.
4643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 26, 2021, 11:39:50 PM
Gareth Bale has been transfer listed by Real Madrid ahead of the January window, according to reports.

The Welsh winger, who hasn't played club football since August, is out of contract at the end of the season and is not expected to extend his £600,000-a-week deal.

Bale hasn't featured regular for Real since the 2018-19 campaign and spent last term on loan at Premier League side Tottenham.

Rumours earlier this year suggested he's considering retiring after next year's World Cup, should Wales qualify for the tournament in Qatar.

looks like its the end of the road for Bale, what a season this has been for him Roll Eyes
4644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you actually using/buying NFT's, and Gaming Tokens? on: December 26, 2021, 11:33:47 PM
Not yet! Still trying to figure out how this ecosystem works to be honest....
Besides I really need to find out why some NFts perform better than other pieces of art which are undervalued even when a lot of effort has gone into them which goes unrecognized most of the time!

Talking of gaming tokens am still waiting for ubisoft to jump into this ecosystem as they registered their interest to be part of it.
4645  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whats the point hodling, if you can't risk it all? on: December 26, 2021, 11:28:26 PM
I believe history as shown us that we can not put all our eggs in one basket because doing so means should this fail then all of our investment goes down the drain and so as a counter measure we have to spread the risk by not going all in into one asset as a risk management mechanism!

Investing is risky, what strategy you choose is not the factor, just a matter of circumstances. No option is better than the other as it's personal preference and the goals you have in mind. Maybe on the surface, long term holding seems to be the more safer option, but, there is still risk in it.
As a matter of fact, as much as we want to go all in into BTC we didn't really anticipate that bitcoin would grow to where it is today.
4646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC as "every day" spending currency vs. 10 min Block Confirmation/Mining time on: December 26, 2021, 11:20:30 PM
Almost all services today require at least three confirmations before a transaction can be concluded and this means long waiting times which makes it impractical to use in the real world. But with lightning network and the alike i think it compensates for these short comings.

If LN isnt working as intended i see another soft fork happening.
4647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 26, 2021, 11:16:23 PM
As usual, Bayern Munich always dominates the Bundesliga every season. This season they have collected 43 points from 17 matches, with 14 wins, 1 draw and 2 defeats and 9 points adrift of Borussia Dortmund. It's a bit boring to see the Bundesliga competition every season for the title. So far, no team has been able to offset the dominance of Munich in the top competition of the German League.
Totally agree, Bayern Munich is just too superior for this league and as this stand there is no real competition for them besides borussia Dortmond. And the worst part is that every time the win the become financial power to buy any player of their league which leaves others uncompetitive after a sell.
4648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best ways to invest money? on: December 26, 2021, 10:12:58 PM
To get the maximum profit of course we have to divide the money into many types of investments, and I always follow the development of cyrptocurrencies, what I'm doing right now to get maximum profit is to buy new projects ranging from $300 - $500 per month, and I'm staking on several DEXs like Pancake, Quickswap and Apeswap and every day can earn around $ 18.
Diversity is a great way to minimize risk and loss, but research of these crypto assets we have today should never be skipped because we have lots of shitcoins out there which we need to be on the lookout for...otherwise staking is good, investing in casinos Is good so as trading but requires one to learn the skill which takes some time.

Becoming rich is just the goal and it's realistic to some extent but if you want a more specific answer I would simple say becoming $10million richer by mid 2022 although at the moment it sounds a bit scary to me. But if my dreams don't scare me I might not give my full energy  to make much profit
I believe getting rich is about being different, being the pioneer and not doing something that lacks the wow factor in it. With determination and perseverance the sky is the limit and we can be whatever we want to be... let us not stop dreaming this is where it all starts.... Cool
4649  Economy / Economics / Re: The link between Bitcoin and the economy on: December 26, 2021, 10:04:18 PM
When we discussed the topic of Bitcoin and its decentralized nature and how it relates to the economy of the world, I lot of people seem to be confused about the place of Bitcoin in the economy.
Personally, I like to think bitcoin is a parallel economy to the world economy on its on, but lately it seems to be highly influenced by the politics which are suppose to affect fiat and not digital currencies.

First, we need to understand the nature of Bitcoin and also its legal tendency.
legal or not bitcoin will forever continue to exist as there isn't a boundary for which bitcoin can and can not go.

Quote
Bitcoin is a digital currency that is not controlled by any one individual or government that is why it is referred to as decentralized currency, secondly, Bitcoin is an asset just like gold that the reason most people adopt it for its economic benefits.

Bitcoin is an asset with many uses and people use it for different reasons, someone could use it as a medium of payment, another could use it as a store of value and on a different day its simply an investment waiting to grow in value.
4650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: December 26, 2021, 09:54:52 PM
Arsenal really performed well in today match to defeated Norwich 5:0 without struggle to win the match.
Norwich isn't the same team we knew when pukki was the go to guy for fantasy football points, today Norwich plays like they have made up their minds to leave the premier league and go fight for their place back in it from the lower leagues.....That 5 nil is a statement to say these guys have no fight left in them, otherwise great football display for the Gunners.

Quote
Even Manchester city defeated Leicester 6:3 that is still making them to be the top of the time table. Chelsea also won their match 3:1 that is making people to talk that Chelsea point will drop for their next match if they lose. Those team that played today ,it was not easy for them to become Victory in their matches today.
City and Chelsea these were expected wins!
4651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa Conference League Discussion Thread on: December 26, 2021, 09:49:50 PM
I think that Leicester are one of the biggest favourites of the Europa Conference League title now. They have been doing really bad in the Premier League recently. And maybe they would focus on this tournament to win a title and become the first champion team of this tournament at the same time also. Maybe this tournament has a much lower quality than the Premier League but its being held for the first time makes it really attracting. And I think that the biggest threat to them in this tournament is Roma. And we never know if some unexpected team make a surprise.
As much as we want to put Leicester out there to be favorites of the tournament, I think what these guys get wrong is the fact that they use two different teams for the premier league and other competitions....if players tire out from the premier league they can not be used for such competitions such as the Europa Conference League and the other problem is that players used in this competition aren't getting game time from the EPL which could mean that they are out of form and they should not be considered as outright favorites tbh.
4652  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Visa Partners With 60 Crypto Platforms to Let Consumers Spend Digital Currency on: December 26, 2021, 09:37:02 PM
As much as this sounds like a great development I think ViSA is not the easiest option we have when it comes to spending or buying cryptocurrencies using it because this brings in KYC which is really something most of us feel uncomfortable to share because we do not know were our data might end up after passing all KYC requirements. If only an MOU of some sort can be worked out to bypass all this to enable easier ways of buying crypto.
4653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 26, 2021, 09:19:44 PM
Pogba is one of the lowest paid players in the current Manchester United roster, earning less than £300,000 per week, despite the fact that a player of his caliber should make more in this market.

Manchester United player salaries 2021.
Code:
Cristiano Ronaldo  £510,000
David De Gea £375,000
Jadon Sancho £350,000
Raphael Varane £340,000
Paul Pogba £290,000
Edinson Cavani £250,000
Anthony Martial £250,000
Marcus Rashford £200,000
Harry Maguire £189,904
Bruno Fernandes £180,000
source

Looking at this list several players could easily be asking for a raise looking at how much work they put in for the team.

Take for example Bruno Fernandes  who is getting a mere £180,000 but is capable of getting goals and also defend very well but the lad is not complaining....but why should pogba try to steal the show with his salary increaments??? These demands will not be meet and I see him leaving for this reason!
4654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it Better to Hodl or Stake your Tokens? on: December 26, 2021, 09:14:11 PM
I honestly think both have their own advantages and are a good option based on how frequently you are willing to look at some charts and plan your next take profit.

If you want to get defined profits without much uncertainty  for your time, you will need to go for staking otherwise if you are more of a hands on person and want to do everything by yourself holding is the best option here as your profits are unlimited.
4655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I recovered my wallet from 2014 and saw how close I was to being a millionaire on: December 26, 2021, 09:07:51 PM
looking at all these transactions really hurts me because I know the feeling of missing out on a great opportunity and this one was to make you to be a millionaire.

If only we can go back in time and buy a bag load of bitcoins and wait for the big one of 60000 dollars to come sell and buy again when the dip happens.
4656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH OR BSC on: December 26, 2021, 09:01:31 PM
to be honest these are two great products that I use and enjoy and having to separate the two will be a daunting task as both smart coins different purposes and their own strengths and weaknesses but if we say based on the number of tokens one houses it has to be ethereum but if its based on spend and less transaction fees to be paid it goes to BSC.
4657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who’s who in the gambling subforum? on: December 26, 2021, 08:40:54 PM
I have recognized about three four names from the OP some who i recall from directbet competitions which was a highly competitive and the said categories they are said to be experts in are well described for them as those are the bets they took back then.
4658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: December 26, 2021, 05:29:58 PM
The day after Xmas never disappoints. Tottenham winning 3-0 and a red card. Manchester City beating Leicester City 4-0 at half time are now hanging on for the win with Leicester putting a huge pressure on them. My prediction for Chelsea is a draw they have not been in good form recently and I think Aston Villa could get the win if they push Chelsea but I think I will go for a draw as a bet.
Am really impressed with how Tottenham from nowhere have hit form and have been winning most of their games, if they continue on this trajectory they might actually finish in the top four of the league.

While Manchester city have continued their impressive display of football which makes them 70% favorites to win this campaign.
4659  Other / Serious discussion / Re: What wallet do you prefer? on: December 26, 2021, 04:21:30 PM
Well when i started off using bitcoin, web wallets were the go to option for me but since I got to understand that if your dont control or have control of the private key then the coins are really not yours... Hence i was forced to move to mobile and desktop wallets which give you total control of your coins with access to your private keys.
4660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: December 26, 2021, 03:59:19 PM
Southampton leading against Westham away from home is not a first half result i would have predicted.... But ever since their Winnig run came to an end these guys mentality seems to have changed and dropped quite a good number of points on the road because they arent as aggressive as they were when the league started. But since one more half is left to go i suppose a draw should be the best result here.
