4641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SFP can go to 5$ on: March 19, 2021, 07:44:34 AM
As far as i remember, safepal was 4$ once it was launched on binance, but after that time it never touched 4$. This coin went as low as 1.6$.
Of course, what happened after listing was expected and that's why veteran and profitable traders would tell you never rush to buy a newly listed coin. There's always a dump. It's mandatory. Always wait for that dump, no matter how good a project is, before it begins to go up again. I have come to know this and it has been paying off nicely.

Although this project is a good one but i would suggest not to invest big portion of your portfolio in new coins. Since it is backed up by binance, it may go to 8-10$ in the long run.
You confessed that a project is good and that it could do $8-$10 from the current position of $2 that it stands and you're asking people not to invest big? What a bunch of contradictory statements you've in there, honestly. Doing $8 from $2 is 40% on investment while at $10 will be 50% and you think that isn't good enough?
4642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi crypto (legit?) Or a hoax? on: March 18, 2021, 06:34:47 PM
Snip
I totally disagree with you mate, in as much as am not going to be advocating whether pi is legit or not, am only gonna give it the benefit of doubt, atleast from my research about the project, they might just be legit
While you're free to disagree with my perception, you can at least endeavour to let me see your point of view. From what you've said here, I see you aren't going to stick out your neck for Pi. Why so if you so much disagree with me then? Well, like I said earlier in my comparison of phone mining apps to faucets; they most times end as waste of precious time and data. BTW, is Pi listed on the market yet?
4643  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SFP can go to 5$ on: March 18, 2021, 02:07:05 PM
From historical data, $5 seems too close for SFP price to cross. It did an ATH of $4+ a few days ago. So, it's almost there.

[quote author=dogtana
Hmmm that's interesting to discuss about SFP but it looks like $5 is still over valued to be reached by SFP consider about this wallet is still a new wallet and if we are seeing it based on the features that owned by this wallet and then it's very clear to say that if trust wallet is a step ahead from SFP.
If anything, the project is undervalued at the current price of $2.74+. Even at $5, it's still undervalued. Remember that the Trust (TWT) you compared it has a staggering supply of 1 billion while SFP has a maximum supply of 500 million. Apart from utility (which both projects in comparison here have), supply plays a major role while picking a project. I believe SFP is a great project that can do even $10+ during alts bull soon.
4644  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading your strategy on DEMO is a waste of time on: March 18, 2021, 10:25:03 AM
OP, what you're invariably saying about demo trading being a waste of time is simply saying that ignorance should be valued over education? This is really misleading. It's like buying a car and driving straight without first learning how to drive. Does that work well? As someone who trades on the side I have come to realize that practice is very crucial in this game. Therefore, to demo trade is very necessary to learning.
4645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi crypto (legit?) Or a hoax? on: March 18, 2021, 06:32:46 AM
Well, the truth is that new stuff are always greeted with suspicion and skepticism. However, the pattern of this Pi mining phone app is reminiscent to me of faucets which were very popular around 2017 and earlier. The issue with faucets is that you can never be sure if the faucet site will allow you withdraw your earned crypto on the site once you meet the set withdrawal level. Most times, they don't. And all that would amount to efforts in vain. This is what I for see will happen with phone mining apps. Pi may come up tomorrow to tell users that it was just doing a beta test of its site. What would be the fate of users then?
4646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Attack on PancakeSwap and Cream domains to steal seed phrase from users on: March 18, 2021, 03:48:11 AM
I will edit that to just let people know not to fill in their seed phrase on any platform as it is very risky.
It doesn't stop to amuse me why people would do that — fill in their password or pass phrase on something that exposes them, but refuse to hand over their car keys to total strangers. You're wondering the connection in my analogy with your comment? Both scenarios are the same. They smack of stupidity for folks who do them.

The way the PCS team reacted immediately on the DNS attack further reinforced my confidence in the team, honestly. They were up and doing and constantly updating users on their social media handles on the situation. At first, I didn't know there was an attack until I tried buying stuff on the site through a DApp. Once I saw my platform looked funny and unusual, I quickly closed it until I realized there was an attack. I think that should be anyone's reflexes at a discovery like that, and not try to force oneself to use the services if one thought it has been compromised.
4647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are there any risks with staking 1inch tokens? on: March 17, 2021, 12:49:39 AM
To start with, you got the 1inch tokens through an airdrop. I don't even see any risk in one losing what was ever received for free. On a more serious note, trading is a risk just like every form of business is. Asking here and someone making you a guarantee that it's safe to stake on that Dex is on its own a risk too because you're asking random strangers too. However, if I were you I would take that bold step of faith and stake it and assume it a win-win. Whatever the outside, I live with it without regrets.
4648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi Network on: March 14, 2021, 05:18:01 PM
What do you guys think about this?
What I think? The issue I have with all these phone mining stuff is "withdrawal", apart from clogging up my phone space by downloading the app. It isn't just enough to mine Pi, what should be of concern is if it's really accessible to withdraw it after mining on the phone? I tend to see phone mining the same way I see faucets — an endless time of stress without meaningful achievement. However, I do hope Pi isn't like that.

I think it is on the way down. Coinmarketcap even stopped tracking it.
Where in coinmarket is it listed because I can't find any trace of it, even as untracked.
4649  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Quit My Full Time Job to Trade Cryptos Full Time on: March 14, 2021, 03:35:19 AM
In the past month and a half i've made over 100k arbing different markets and developing a very hard-to-beat strat. I submitted my resignation to my full time job last week . Wish me luck.
The 100k made, is it in dollar or in your local currency? If it's in the formal then it's a great feat and one worth celebrating. I do believe you took a nice decision quitting if you're already profitable to that point. Why tie oneself to a 9-5 slavery when one can do it on ones' term and pace? This is also the point that throws me off when someone tells me they're profitable traders but are still keeping their 9-5 paid job. It doesn't make sense. Perhaps, it makes sense if we have a discerning sense of perception enough to decode because what that simply echoes is that the person claiming to be profitable while still keeping their paid 9-5 job is not. They're just lying through their teeth. Enjoy your moment of freedom, OP.
4650  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is a game of capital on: March 14, 2021, 02:35:14 AM
I think trading capital ultimately depends on the trader and how much they are willing to lose per trade. There are traders who can take a $10 or $20 trading accounts to the highs of $5000 - $10000. Anybody can do it if they know what they're doing. It's very much possible these days since you can trade crypto futures and even use leverages. Your patry $20 capital would be $200 when on a 10x leverage account.

Anyway, I'm not here to talk about leverage trading. The point I'm trying to drive home is that any trading capital should be fine as far as the trader is comfortable with it and knows what they're doing. But one thing is clear those, the more the capital, the more you're likely to profit per trade if it goes well - for instance, gaining 500% on an $10 account doesn't seem to be worth it considering you only get $40 as profit. Compare that with a $500 - $5000 trading account.
This has also been my position on an issue like this. It's not the size of a dog that matters in a fight but the fight in the dog. Anyone who isn't faithful (profitable) in the little they're given can't be profitable in the much that they're given. It's that simple. It's better to have good set skills for trading before venturing into trading than jumping into it because one thinks one has enough capital that can't be squandered. No matter how much one has, if the set skills for it isn't there one will still not be profitable. Doing that then makes it a guess game or gambling and not trading.
4651  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk again on: March 13, 2021, 08:18:14 PM
once a market changes over a billion dollars over a tweet it is not fun anymore and i care less about his tweets but curiously waiting for his Neuralink development.
You sound like his tweets have caused you to lose money and I don't know why it's that way apart from the fact that you could've been on the wrong side of the market. Quite alright, Elon is influential and no one should jettison the level of influence he has on the global stage. It's not child's play to maintain the number one spot financially in a globe of billions of people. Elon Musk is the richest man on planet earth at the moment. His comments and suggestions are enough to even topple a government. I am very careful to swim against his tweets.
4652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are NFT Tokens booming? FOMO? on: March 13, 2021, 07:04:10 AM
Everyone likes to play games  Shocked, no pun intended. On a more serious note, we should take cognizance of the fact that every bull run has always had a trend it introduces. I ain't surprise with NTF and the BSC DApp stuff dominating the scene now. Remember when we had ICOs, IEOs, STOs, Lending tokens just to mention but four. Investors are always in a hurry to hit a good ROI and will expectedly look for what can make them the most cash. Anything trending, whether from FOMO or true use case, catches their fancies. BTW, I just got on the BSC DApp bandwagon. I'm so loving the swiftness and smooth ease of swapping or buying tokens there. Most times before tokens even hit cex, those accustomed to DApps had already bought cheap. Great concept.
4653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where's the altcoin bull on: March 13, 2021, 05:26:01 AM
So, when are we having altcoin bull where altcoin will be outperforming bitcoin? Or no more such things happening at all?
Just wait for it, for it will surely come. We get to see that alts rally once Bitcoin exhausts itself on the dominance chase. The market dominance data is my constant reference to check if the tides are changing. Whenever Bitcoin drops in price I check its dominance and if it remains at over 55%, then I get reassured that the Bitcoin bull hasn't come to an end. This has been my guide. Alts will begin to bull when Bitcoin begins to dip. What we see with certain alts pumping now is just a flash, and not the real bull run for alts. Wait for it, for the alts run will surely come.
4654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the Recent profitable coins? on: March 13, 2021, 04:45:52 AM
You know about recent profitable coins?
I want to invest in crypto and want to know recent profitable coins? Please help and suggest me about recent best coins. Some days ago i just invest on TwT coins and it give me huge profits.and Btc also.. If have a good suggestion. You can suggest me. Adavance thanked   Smiley
Don't develop this mindset, otherwise you will ruin yourself. DYOR — Do Your Our Resesrch. Whatever token anyone tells you is profitable at this point must be a token they're already hodling which might've even done an appreciable percentage in price already. So, you could be buying it at a high. But if you DYOR you could be buying from the bottom which is what every investor wants. You shouldn't be an exception. BTW, we are in a bull year. Almost any token can be profitable now, whether it has a use case or not.
4655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The World Without Bitcoin on: March 12, 2021, 09:26:33 PM
Have you ever thought what would the world be without Bitcoin? Imagine if the cryptocurrency was never invented and we'd still be living with Fiat (paper money and credit/debit cards).
Well, I don't think the people will be missing anything if there weren't Bitcoin in existence. You don't miss what you don't have an idea exists. For crying out loud, pre-two decades ago no one knew there was going to be Bitcoin and we all carried out our normal lives without chaos. It's the same way those who don't have telephone services in their countries live their normal lives without phones. To even bring it down home, my mum doesn't know jack about Bitcoin and she's surviving without it. It's that simple. The only good side to all this is that those of use who know the workings of Bitcoin or have a vague idea of it and the entire crypto thing think life is easier with this phenomenal technology called Bitcoin and the blockchain. At least we are consoled by that fact.
4656  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Elon Musk again on: March 12, 2021, 08:11:13 PM
What does anyone think about the latest tweet from Elon Musk in what looked like taking a swipe at Bitcoin?

Actually, TBC reminded me of The Billion Coin; a scam coin that never came into existence since 2017 it was rumoured to be. Its community sadly believe till date that it will one day become a real use case coin. They're still in denial that it's a scam.
4657  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do ordinary people feel afraid of Bitcoin? on: March 12, 2021, 07:10:41 PM
By your ordinary people you mean the government? The banks? A few extremely wealthy folks? I asked because these are the sets I know are truly scared of Bitcoin. The supposedly ordinary people in my books are the masses/poor folks and by all intent, these ones don't seem to be scared of Bitcoin. If anything, the thought of Bitcoin excites them because they see it as a source that could lift them out of their precarious and poor state if they hodl it.

BTW, those in the first classification are beginning to realize that the fud they harboured about Bitcoin are lies but are finding it difficult to make public confessions about it.
4658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A DEEP ANALYSIS ON WHY ETHEREUM IS TERRIBLE on: March 12, 2021, 06:04:07 PM
Just watch the 1 minutes  Wink
To be on the safe side, you have to do the needful by moving this topic to the appropriate section like Rikafip rightly pointed out to you. Otherwise, you risk deletion by a mod.

On the part of ETH being terrible, the exorbitant fees say it all. Look no further.
4659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With a clogged network, users will start abandoning BTC for alts. Change my mind on: March 12, 2021, 07:56:33 AM
But okay, it's your choice.
You will surely make a good and  astute marketer or public relations person, honestly; and joking apart. I like your resilience in trying to snap me out of my old way. However, what is sophistication when one isn't safe with it. Electrum's attempt to keep on improving on its app still exposes its users to vulnerability, isn't so? Wouldn't it be wiser to stick with the angel one knows rather than the one unknown? Nevertheless, let me quickly add that I once used Electrum in 2017 or so (at the same time I started using BC) but had to quickly abandon it because of several reported scaring phishing hacks. May be one day I will go back to it. Never say never 🤗

PS: This is also my last response to this.
4660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With a clogged network, users will start abandoning BTC for alts. Change my mind on: March 12, 2021, 07:14:42 AM
Okay. If that is your definition of competency, then so be it. Even if Blockchain.com is competent, it's just a matter of time till it gets hacked through one of its many attack vectors.
Well, I like to lead my life on experience rather than hear say. Since I haven't had any issue with it I don't think it will be a learned and wise thing to right them off. The wallet may have a cog in its wheels but this I haven't encountered anyway. May be because I don't hold much sats in my entire portfolio or may be those who notice these issues you talk about are the whales or regular users. BTW, Electrum with all its negative reports, hacks and phishing issues, still get patronage isn't it?
