here is an exemple

Block 721071

OK, I went to your link for block 721071
It shows that coinbase tx goes to 1GNgwA8JfG7Kc8akJ8opdNWJUihqUztfPe (Poolin) and not 12dRugNcdxK39288NjcDV4GX7rMsKCGn6B (Antpool)
It's just a couple more rows below the point you stopped with the (useless) paste from blockchain.com:

4662  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Square is considering making a hardware wallet for Bitcoin on: January 31, 2022, 09:43:29 AM
if data from gsmarena is true.

While I don't expect gsmarena have info about really all makers and models, I'd expect that the even cheaper ones (ie those that may be missing) will just increase the numbers of models without NFC.

You are free to click onto the bottom-right button and see the results = the actual phones for which you'll see the specs if clicked.
Unfortunately you may have to fiddle more with the settings and get subsets, since not all are shown if the number of results is that big.
And unfortunately they don't have search for "no NFC" (either All, either with NFC).

Even more, there are results with the specs telling "NFC    Yes (market/region dependent)"
These are included in the list with NFC, hence giving a certain extra advantage to "that side".

TL;DR; I was actually "nice" to tell 50%, and the real percent of no-NFC phones for 2021 may be even bigger.
4663  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Can RBF be utilised to bring undo functionality to wallets on: January 31, 2022, 09:06:35 AM
My question is, is it possible to utilise RBF (replace-by-fee) to bring undo functionality to Bitcoin wallets?

RBF already exists and can be used, no new BIP is necessary for that. Especially Electrum has it implemented pretty nicely.

Now, it worth mentioning that:
* replacing a transaction, even if it has RBF enabled, is no longer possible after it was confirmed
* RBF doesn't have 100% rate of success - but I think that the second transaction didn't propagate/reach the mempool of the miner in those rare cases

The topic of canceling transactions was discussed/asked in the past multiple times, like https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5324590.0
You may want to read the explanations from those relies too.
4664  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin White Paper - Now available in 40 Languages on: January 31, 2022, 08:41:57 AM
Does it really matters if Bitcoin Whitepaper is available in different languages ?

It does. Not everybody understands English that good and having the white paper in his own language could get one actually read it.

This being said, one year ago there were still automated and bad translations too here and there, since some prefer to have their name visible there than a job properly done.
Hence it would be nice that the local communities would actually read the white paper in their own language even if they've already read it in English, to also see (tell) whether improvements in the translation are necessary.
4665  Other / Meta / Re: Proposal about transferring accounts (username change) on: January 31, 2022, 08:36:24 AM

I'm not sure what you want to achieve here (some merits? nahh)
You clearly didn't read all the older posts on this same topic and you propose something that most probably will not be taken into consideration.

Shortly:
* It's not about money. Changing account name will usually not happen for pretty good reasons.
* If this policy would ever change, it will most probably come either as a proposal from admin, either with a super big support from the community; and it's, by far, not the case.
4666  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: MINING unknown 12dRugNcdxK39288NjcDV4GX7rMsKCGn6B hit all the blocks btc on: January 31, 2022, 08:25:54 AM
almost all blocks are mined by this address, miner unknown: 12dRugNcdxK39288NjcDV4GX7rMsKCGn6B.

From block 721071 to 721087 there is only her, apart from a block 721083 hit by f2 pool.

I don't know where you got your data from but:
* I've checked 3-4 of those blocks and I didn't find that address you are talking about (for the coinbase tx)
* I've looked at coin.dance and it tells that most blocks were mined then by foundry USA, but not as many as you've stated; btc.com, antpool and poolin took a big share too

4667  Other / Meta / Re: Where to discuss a Quest with hidden prizes in altcoins and Bitcoin? on: January 31, 2022, 07:54:39 AM
Based on what you are writing, it sounds like something that belongs in the altcoin bounties section. If someone is having to do substantial work outside of the forum, the thread you describe would not violate the no altcoin giveaways rule.

I'm afraid that if it'll be posted there then instead of a proper discussion it has a big chance to fill up with shitposters who won't understand what's all this about.
But maybe I'm wrong, maybe I have a wrong impression about the bounty hunters of 2022...

Seeing the logic behind the replies I understand now how right OP was to ask this question in the first place. And I believe that indeed the proper answer can only come from mods.
4668  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance & Nigerian; Most recent development on frozen funds without prior notice on: January 31, 2022, 07:47:35 AM
But were they given the room to trade their coins to stablecoin before the restrictions commence.

Well, if my theory is correct, then... unfortunately warrants don't come with a warning.

Altcoins are unlikely to recover and we know the majority trade altcoins instead of Bitcoin.

My experience tells that altcoins price move nicely only for very short periods of time. Speculating on them is very risky even without external unfortunate interventions.

You need to see the screenshots (although some might be edited) but you'll really see people devastated.

Binance is losing money in all this. Their aim would have clearly been to leave people trade as much as possible, to give binance the trading fees. So I don't think that Binance wants to steal people's money.
Unfortunately they couldn't have asked people what to do, since then they would have been probably breaking the law. Also they could not take decisions on behalf of the users (about selling/exchanging).
Even worse, I am not convinced that those funds will be returned to the customers too soon (if ever).

It's a shitty situation and I can guess that many are devastated because many trade money they cannot really afford to lose. And I am very sorry for them. Sad

My points were only two:

* There were discrete signs for who could read them; maybe 2 years ago Binance would have been stalling/ignoring governments' requests, but this is no longer an option due to their new direction.
Also people did take unnecessary risks (without realizing that) and now they're in a very bad situation with no actual good solution

* I don't think that's Binance fault here

PS. Something that just came into my mind: did anyone try to ask Binance support to sell this and those coins for stable coins to avoid further loses? It could be (or it could have been) a possible course of actions.
4669  Economy / Economics / Re: 02/02/2022 :( on: January 30, 2022, 06:36:15 PM
High inflation , high energy prices ,food crisis, covid crisis, climate change crisis, cargo shipping crisis, computer chips crisis...

Wars, coups, protests around the world etc etc ....at least no nukes for now.

And f...king Apple has record sales: https://www.aljazeera.com/economy/2022/1/27/apple-smashes-earnings-estimates-with-record-sales

I think this is it we are f...ked !

Simply put, while some ants have some problems, other ants don't care. All in all, the forest may be slowly dying, but it may have better days.
I don't see the things be significantly worse than they were 6 months ago.
And there's clearly no relation to any arbitrary date, no matter how nice it looks like.

Stop reading/watching all the crap news (since their only goal is to panic you and keep you watching), try to find something interesting to do, get a book, or a computer game, or some good series to watch, maybe also go out if possible.
You seem to go towards depression and that doesn't help anyone. Break out of it.
4670  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [IDEA][BRAINSTORM] How about a remote wallet ? on: January 30, 2022, 06:27:45 PM
From what I understand the actual signing still happens at the user, so it's just an overcomplication with doubtful benefits.

so the owner receive a message asking for a signature (not transactions, messages only) and if he approves that connection request so the user can connect on the other side.

What if a malicious third party intercepts the message and ask for signing a transaction that send coins to a different address? Will your design get the user see and deny that?

like a 2FA

2FA is not as good as you'd think. There can be many ways to go around it if the whole system is complicated.

However, let's say that all goes great. You have basically an online wallet where one still needs a local corresponding wallet to sign the transaction.
What stops the online wallet mine all kinds of data about the customers? And what's the benefit of those customers? (I don't see any.)
4671  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Crypto to fiat withdrawal on: January 30, 2022, 05:58:34 PM
For example seller sells something for 1BTC, I withdraw 90%, so 0.9BTC converted to fiat, to seller's bank account.

Is something like that possible?

I'm not sure I understood what you mean. My guess is the 1 BTC is the buyer's money, so the word you are looking for is not withdraw (maybe exchange, then withdraw).
In that scenario you'll have to have an account to an exchange - probably a KYC centralized exchange - and API keys for that account.
The shopping platform will transfer 0.9 BTC to the exchange; your API will sell that 0.9 BTC based on your settings and market price; when your sale was successful you'll withdraw the fiat to a bank account.

This would be the theory, but I've never done that, you should verify and confirm for yourself.
Even more, my not-too-big experience tells that many banks don't like to get money from crypto exchanges. Also I think that I've also seen requirements like the account on the crypto exchange has to be on the same name as the bank account. But maybe I've got that wrong and maybe that's different in case of companies. You have to research though. (Or maybe you'll have to withdraw you your bank account and then transfer to seller's account?).
4672  Other / Meta / Re: Where to discuss a Quest with hidden prizes in altcoins and Bitcoin? on: January 30, 2022, 12:54:10 PM
Where can this be posted and discussed?

Imho the main options could be Gambling Discussion, Gambling or maybe Games and Rounds, although for the last one it's said

Giveaways, games, raffles, airdrops and other promotional campaigns that pay out a part or all of their rewards in altcoins do not belong in Games and Rounds.

My vote would probably go for Gambling Discussion, although I know that's not gambling per se.
4673  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Watch only wallet with Private key on: January 30, 2022, 11:13:20 AM
Only wanted to mention again that we have an exceptionally bad line speed where I stay. Looks like it could contribute to all of this.

I kinda doubt it.
However, I've got an idea which I am not sure it was discussed:

Is there a chance that the wallet file cannot be properly written to HDD or get overwritten by an older version (by an antivirus or system protection), or something like that?
What I mean is the maybe you manage to try to restore your wallet on another computer (of course, make sure it's clean and that the Electrum is from electrum.org and verified). Or you can try for an 0.00000001 address even on your smartphone (although I don't have the same experience on smartphone) ; maybe you see whether it restores to the correct address and it's spendable or not. Or you can try sparrow wallet, which is pretty much compatible with Electrum and uses Electrum servers too, but it may get a bit more complicated to set up.

Maybe they're only crazy ideas, but if you have that time, it's only a bit of time to lose, isn't it?
4674  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance & Nigerian; Most recent development on frozen funds without prior notice on: January 30, 2022, 11:01:37 AM
Some 281 Nigerian accounts have been affected by these personal account restrictions with approximately 38% of these cases restricted at the request of international law enforcement.

The problem I see here is that it has happened at the request of law enforcement, hence they have probably had a warrant of some sort.
Maybe it's something that the affected users can ask for/request, so they know where they have to ask reimbursements from (if they are entitled, which I kinda doubt), or at least they can have the peace of mind that's not the exchange that's trying to scam them (not that it matters much, unfortunately).

I'm pretty sure many most have lost a huge percentage of profit to the recent decrease in market.

Since they didn't sell, it's an unrealized loss. If the funds will b frozen for longer, it may turn out as profit, who knows?

Is 2022 and centralized Exchanges are still bullying their customers something has to be done.

Unfortunately this comes together with Binance being more open to all government requests. They've have given all the signals about this last year.
Centralized trading is no longer good for small fish from restricted countries, unfortunately. Whether the reasons are legit or not, they are at the mercy of the exchange, which sooner or later does have the potential to turn bad, no matter how is the exchange called. Sorry.
4675  Other / Meta / Re: Studying the activity of Satoshi on the forum! on: January 30, 2022, 10:51:22 AM
Now the question is: it's the time on these posts the original, which timezone? if anyone can confirm me something it's much appreciated. and obviously if anyone wants to join me in my research is welcome. catcher

This is more a forum discussion, hence I'd say that you better move it to Meta (see bottom-left).
Now, if you go to your own user settings, you'll see that you can see the times for all posts in forum time or the time zone you prefer.

I think that forum time is UTC, hence that's what you'll get if you set no time offset.

TL;DR: UTC

4677  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kazakhstan cripping the bitcoin network on: January 28, 2022, 03:06:41 PM
New country harboring alot of the hashpower, from the majority of Chinese exporting their mining equipment there, same tactics.

Is it? When the internet was down, all that lot of hash power... was not missing...
4678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kazakhstan cripping the bitcoin network on: January 28, 2022, 02:22:52 PM
This is not a good sign to have the total hashpower centralized like this.

I was expecting you know better than this.
The Kazakhstan "internet is down" business was shown plenty of times - with actual data - that it's based on fake news. There was no significant hash rate drop, hence there's not much of concentration of hash power in that country.

Even if that FUD went overly successful, I think (hope?) that traders are not so dumb to be fooled by same FUD twice.
4679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token created, what now? (General crypto marketing strategies discussion) on: January 28, 2022, 09:44:05 AM
Thanks for naming options with bitcointalk! I'll definitely explore them Smiley I am also looking to explore the service section here. Is there any recommended provider?

How about pinksale or poocoin or similar platforms where you can do your presale or advertise your product?  What is your opinion on those?

Keep in mind that I don't work in advertising and such. I've just gave you some advises that looked logical to me.
I don't know those platforms you said, it's the first time I hear about them.

If by provider you also ask about campaign manager, there are plenty of good campaign managers available for hire if that's what you want, I also advertise one of them, you can look at my account's avatar, or, directly:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5328445.0

They can help you, but they will most probably not endorse your project, hence you'll need to start with an ANN made and posted by you.
Then you'll have to find somebody design the signatures. And only afterwards you can do signature campaign (or other bounties).
4680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token created, what now? (General crypto marketing strategies discussion) on: January 28, 2022, 08:44:41 AM
I am not talking about scams
[~snip~]
So, you need to think creatively and create a buzz with let's say only 1-2k$. What would you do?

If the token is not a scam, then imho you have to hype the underlying project, the one that will bring usefulness to the token, and then hype the token. (or, well, you can do together too).
You should explain very well how the project can be successful. You have to make people understand how their investment will bring them more money.

I don't know that much about budgets, but you can find easily a cheap army of advertisers on Twitter, for example. But their audience may be limited basically to the other advertisers/shitposters.
They can bring you back links, they can probably get you into the attention of the robots, but I am not that much sure about the attention of real people.

If you want proper audience from crypto lovers you can clearly advertise here (signature campaign). It would be great. Just then you will probably have to pay more than 1k$/week, hence you can dry your budget super quick.

Of course, here, on Bitcointalk, you will have to start with a proper announcement thread (in altcoins' subforum). That's for free (well, if you want to add pictures there you may want to spend a couple of $ in bitcoin for a copper membership) and can get the discussion started. If the project is very good, it will already get some interest/buzz there (although I see that more an organic growth than a short-lived, higher intensity buzz).
