4661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 18, 2020, 10:06:24 AM
I am feeling pretty pathetic defending Schalke here (Grin), but don't dwell on that lousy goal differential. They lost 0-8 @Bayern and 0-4 @Leipzig, it happens and Barca lost 2-8 to Bayern as well^^ And that streak is bad no doubt, but no team in this world with this quality keeps on not-winning for ages. And I didn't even say they will win today, but that Union will not win today and their odds are poor imo Smiley
That's the thing, no one team can keep winning or loosing all games less it becomes more of just participating in the games rather than a compitition for the trophy. After all, Bayern has lost games too with a 1-4 goal difference to Hoffenham. You can almost trust teams that get there heads in the game believing for a win to win or else, big teams will always claim the 3 points for themselves at every given chance.
No doubt, Schalke04 is doing rather badly, occupying the 18th position on the league table which happens to be the relegation zone but teams at that point always shows a lot of respiration and you can always trust them to be really dangerous.

One team that has continued to impress me still is RasenBallsport Leipzig, doing quite well to stay consistent and maintaining the number one spot on the league table, outstanding. No doubt, like Atlanta submitted to Napoli, they too will succumb once they meet there match.
4662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: October 18, 2020, 09:45:09 AM
Yesterday's games has been so unfortunate for both Real Madrid and Barcelona. Not even a both team score result in both matches. It didn't even feel like I was watching the best teams in the world play one bit, they were so dull despite the fact that they were loosing with the same scoreline on the score board for both matches 1-0. Who would have seen this coming.

Imagine Cadiz holding the great white sharks down on a Real Madrid 0-1 Cadiz after scoring in the 16th minutes till the final whistle went. Despite that most of the substitute came rather early, having almost half of the first team players at the bench and later swapping them cost them this home loose.

On the part of Barcelona, I really think that penalty wasn't supposed to be awarded. The fowl was not intentional and not aggressive enough. Football is a game of contact and De Jong just stepped on his feet with the left foot though, the eighteen yard box is a rather dangerous place to be making mistakes.
Good one for Cadiz and Gatefe though, as they managed to bag all three points.
4663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Question: Is there any websites where I can gamble crypto under 18? on: October 16, 2020, 09:14:02 PM
Rules are rules. The forum you are in has rules that we are required to follow and it's one of the very thing that has been ensuring the continual stability and effectiveness of this forum so applies to the gambling sites or platforms out there. Without these rules, all will be in chaos. Besides, they are licensed and I guess that's very much part of the rules. Violating it feels wrong as there license could be revoked. Now, you won't want that for them, would you?
Because, your still going to be left where you started. The tricky thing is, time flies and in no time, you'll be eighteen so, you've just got to be patience @OP. Let's ensure the decency of the platforms out there, play by the rules and apply caution.
4664  Other / Meta / Re: I created the Bitcointalk Stats Live Counter on: October 16, 2020, 03:00:18 PM
I'll really like to know how you did this @OP as I hope to try out stuffs like this someday in a way that it add value to the forum and an increase to the already existing tools.

The tool shows how volatile the forum is and to what extent contents are been created and comments been made on existing posts. It's amazing to see that the available posts count on the forum is over 55M and counting, wow! It's pretty exciting to watch the online member count and how active the users come off and on, the traffic is quite a thing.

What I find inappropriate is the the guessing of private key package. Why would any one need that. If it could be used in finding lost private keys, it could also be used in hacking wallets. Perhaps it's works in a different way, I don't know.
4665  Other / Meta / Re: Evil users on: October 16, 2020, 02:30:48 PM
I guess the evil fee was kind of a controlled mechanism after all. With it being levied on previously used IP address or addresses to which an account has been permanently banned before. It just shows how in control bitcointalkforum is. Quite unique and it seems fair.
But what could happen is that someone has a bot to probe different IPs until they find a "clean" one (without an evil fee), then register a bunch of "free" accounts on it and keep them until needed.
I guess the possibility of bots guessing IP addresses is were the problem lies. It's kind of like a mining trick but instead of mining coins, it's guessing IP addresses. It's really so uncool when a new prospective user happens to open an account and the evil fee comes up especially, when the user has still got a lot to learn on Bitcoin. Issues with hackers and besides, who buys a user ID anyway. It feels off and besides, the addresses comes with emails that can be used in resets of which, the third party has which isn't such a good thing.
4666  Other / Meta / Re: Here Can't discuss any inteligent way on: October 16, 2020, 01:18:55 PM
In this Forum Can't talk about things anymore inteligent ways.
Too. Many Old members playing like they Don't know no point to talk about nothing.
I'm really confused at this statement or what might have originated it. What really are you driving at, is it that all the threads in this forum and comments are trash and irrelevant or what because, I just don't get you.

The banks and governments created bitcoin its for fact
At this point, I'll like to know who are the government in a decentralized system or the web. Because, what makes governance of nations possible is it's centralized nature bounded buy a physical border to form a territory and I see no boundaries on the web or governments of nations to have created Bitcoin following the fact that, they've been trying unsuccessful to penetrate it for years.

Time to Leave this Forum instead of people think and start analysing facts they comment non sense about Satoshi
infrastructure around btc is not good.... But the people who hold infrastructure around btc are the creators of bitcoin.
What a way to live. If you can't fix it, you live it!
Clearly the forum is not searching for members but just do you know, that's not a way to go. Looking at your activity and post series, you've been around for a long time irrespective of your rank, you've been around for at least a year. So, I believe there could be a point to what ever have got you this way. Please share.

But no point to talk coz those who knows exacly what I think and the facts are the most who play like they Don't know and are Delusional... But their actvity shows clearly they know very well.
That's the point, your focused on those you believe to know and yet you live the rest who don't know in confusion and ignorance. We are all here to share ideas. If there is something you know and the rest of us don't, do share it please. It would be you being very helpful, sharing a new knowledge. It's a thread, use it to share your light.

All have been said are true. Your so in the right place to develop a better understanding of Bitcoin.

You've got to be a very good reader, that's the first step to being a good content creator. There are several articles across all boards that explains a lot on Bitcoin, wallets, talks of the forum, Altcoins and more. I'm not sure you might be familiar with some terms in the forum so, I'll suggest you take a particular interest in the pinned post to get you acquint with the forum.

I'm sure you most have set your mind on earnings but I'll say, keep your mind off that and remain focused on learning the basics. It would do you a lot of good to avoid disappointments.
4668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone betting on "Electronic Leagues"? on: October 15, 2020, 05:47:17 PM
I'm so much not a fan of this virtual or electronic games especially with the fact that, your predictions are entirely subject to the programs put in place by the programmer to generate the outcomes on each games. It makes predicting so difficult and in a matter of an minutes, your chances of winning or losing a lot is relatively high but, I'll stress on the losing as it has been my case the few times I e tried them. No doubt a lot of other persons do understand certain options to stake on that comes rather frequently but, not measuring a teams strength based on the quality of players they are supposed to add just don't help my predictability and it's so uncool to me. But then, it is fun as it makes betting never to be out of season.
4669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Normal Game Setup - a success or a failure? on: October 15, 2020, 05:22:03 PM
It all depends on the way we view it. A lot of price is being paid just to keep this up. I'm sure the aim of this sacrifice isn't out of place. A therapist would always advice an addictive smoker with a particular need to stop smoking ahbit to start by halving the number of sticks he consumes in a day and continue reducing it until the smoker is in control of his/her smoking habit. So also do my high school teacher do tell me, 'live your books for a day and it would live you for a week'.

These are just instances as to what the pandemic is trying to do to football fans amongst other sports. As this will in turn reduce fans participation even when all about the pandemic is resolved. It is a hard price that is being paid by both fans and players. Fans not to be in the arena, players to play without the admiration of their fans and organizers continue to loose huge funds at every game play. So much to keep up the game spirit.
4670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: October 15, 2020, 05:10:36 PM
i think by may 2020 we will still see stadiums without fans .but without singing it is not a real football game with a great atmosphere.
maybe ronaldo scores three goals and messi scores 4 goals.and no fan can get angry or happy in the stadium.that is really sad
i hope this corona evil is soon history ..........soon and be patiente  Grin

I'm sure you meant May 2021, as we are far ahead of the stated date but then, yeah. This is what football have turned into in this era of the pandemic which the world still don't know if it's ever going to end or we should just give up and live with it. A lot of people are already living with it as the case may seem.
Not having fans in the fans section has made football matches seem like a training in section. Even trainings before the pandemic was more fun as some fans still occupied the stadium to be entertained by the activities athletes partake in. It just doesn't feel like it without the fans. Instead of people, I see badges... Boring.
4671  Other / Meta / Re: 2020 Crazy year for the world. Crazy year for bitcointalk. on: October 15, 2020, 04:56:18 PM
2020 has been such an interesting year, unfolding to the society and Cryptocurrency enthusiast several unexpected packages of varying kinds. One of the most significant package or event in history though, I won't term it as crazy is the Bitcoin halving which occured in the month of may 11th, 2020 where Bitcoin was halved from 12.5 - 6.25 as miners continue to mine more bitcoins for circulation. It is the third according to history and it only makes the mining game more tough and it is a good thing for Bitcoin.

Another interesting one is

1. Bitcoin Hits $11.6K for First Time in a Year as Traders Expect $15K.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-price-hits-116k-for-first-time-in-a-year-as-traders-foresee-15k/amp
With Bitcoin reminding the world of it's high volatility amongst every other Altcoin, proving itself once more as the highest and reference point for Alts. Living a lot of people in wonder and anticipation for on what comes next which is highly unpredictable though not impossible.
4672  Other / Meta / Re: Is bumping power related to earned merit? on: October 15, 2020, 04:30:49 PM
Check this- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5183553.0
Only base bump power is affected by earned merit in the last year. Since it's zero in your case, you don't have base bump score at all. May be you have used your mini bump power. Not sure.
Edit- I just bumped it now and it's on the 2nd place of 1st page.
It's obvious the technicalities in this forum are quite much that, one can hardly be aware of them all. Just when you think you've gone quite deep and nothing was going to come by surprised, your faced with yet another that you don't have the slightest clue of it's existence. It's no doubt the concept surrounding most of these tools employed in curtailing certain issues in the forum are explained buy, you knowing of it's existence is an issue of discovering by accident or when faced with the issue itself else, you don't have a chance of knowing.
It's very good that I know this, though it's peculiar to mainly to some boards but, it sure do remedy the situation for which it was meant to a far great extent.
4673  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Politics of Old Age and Healthcare in Developing Countries,Legal Perspective on: October 15, 2020, 04:07:23 PM
It's not like the government aren't aware of this things, they know and probably left it this way reason being that, they aren't at the fire front to see when it's being perpetuated. I see this considering the stress it takes the elderly to claim their pension rewards. These are people who are supposed to just relax and enjoy the dividend of their years of hard work when their physical state can no longer support their harry desires to function in the labour force as they once did.
I so much feel for them, watching the once energetic one's turned weak by their deteriorating health and can no longer survive by themselves. Hurt by the series of illness too numerous to mention while their bodies become a park for all forms of pharmaceuticals. The irony of the whole thing is, we all will get to that state some day, even those who fail to put policies in place that ensures that the rights of the elderly are served to them without stress. Let's endeavor to always help the elderly, as we would soon be in their shoes. Age is not static.
4674  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do they use our computers for CPU mining? on: October 13, 2020, 07:14:17 PM
Most electronic devices aren't made specifically for mining or gaming. It might seem so because of how hot your computer device might seem to be but, it's not so. So long as it's not a mining site your operating then is definitely not some form of affiliate mining in progress.
It's most likely that the sight uses high graphic contents and probably your systems RAM is relatively low, your available ROM is down to 30% and probably, you've got other apps running as well. Hence, your system seems worked up in coordinating all the activities you've got running especially that of the loading gaming site your accessing. You could run a maintenance check on your system and probably reduce the number of active apps you've got running when accessing high graphic contentsm sites.
4675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: October 13, 2020, 06:45:42 PM
Wait, has the news been confirmed?
I doubt the credibility of this news. It's obvious what bloggers would do to generate traffic on their blogs. Quarantineing a player for two weeks (14days) doesn't necessarily mean the player is Covid19 positive. It's just a precautionary measure put in place for players that arrive in a new destination after spending time in some other environment so, they can be checked checked and wait out the life expectancy of any possible trace of the virus because, you never can be too sure.

What do you think? How successful can the Juventus team be without Ronaldo?
Of course not, Ronaldo's presence on the field will really help Juventus attack line. Without his presence I thought Juventus lacked strength in front of the opponent's goal. Even if there are other player who can replace Ronaldo role, it will never be the same. Ronaldo is a player that his opponent are wary of, dangerous and sharp. However, without it in the field it would be very different. But, Juventus should not rely solely on player like Ronaldo, who is not good as it could lead to a lack of team spirit in his absence.
[/quote]
Juventus had chances of winning the UCL even before Ronaldo joined the team. What hindered there chances with Ronaldo in the team was over dependence on Ronaldo to win them the league. If they can have that same mentality, they certainly will have better chance at winning the league.
4676  Other / Politics & Society / Re: EndSARs: The movement for police reformed as a result of police brutality in NiG on: October 13, 2020, 06:25:40 PM
One thing I never understood was, how a Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) took to the street to investigate Cyber crimes while the the armed and unarmed rubbers room free. In fact, the armed robbers are more a concern of local vigilantees than the sars as an armed forces trained to handle such situation. They do their patrol mainly in the morning hours and rest at nights. The only time you see them out at nights is when they are on a raid to oppress some innocent citizen of his right to rest.
It's amazing how thses terror group operate. They even make themselve a drug enforcement agency. Sars has been all about the money. I wonder how they got their training to be both perfect investigators and judge on Cyber crimes.

To show how useless and needless their services have been, how much the group has abused power as a respected armed force, the citizens of the country has taken to the street with one mouth to say no and request for the end of this terror and infridgment of rights. It's ought not to be and it will surely end except, the government is not democratic enough to respect the decision of the masses.

To be fair, having the intension of earning in the forum is not bad at all, there is virtually nothing wrong about it. Else, what is the essence of the knowledge you tend to gain if not to acquire something with it. It's very necessary that you have this ideas but don't allow it to defeat the purpose for which the forum was made which is basically for interaction.

How do you hope to earn and succeed in Bitcoin without first understanding the bases. For this, the forum has been designed to properly equip new users with the know how on the Bitcoin and Crypto ecosystem. That's why as much as you learn, everyone also learns from you. You've just got to follow rules in your navigation of this forum hence you hit a stone, stumble and fall. This is what the rules guides against.
To keep you safe from scammers who would not only exploit you for your ignorance and take only your coin/token, they also take your time and energy by your participating and sh*t bounties.
You have to be deligent and work in accordance with the forum rules to create a better path for yourself on Bitcoin and Alts. This is why we advocate for learning first because the protection of our cryptosphere is in our hands.
4678  Other / Serious discussion / Re: To those waiting for the COVID-19 vaccine.. on: October 13, 2020, 05:38:32 PM
I doubt there is any healthy person waiting on the Covid19 vaccine excluding the once confirmed to have been infected already. Especially with the series of rumor passed on through gossips on the possible complications associated with getting administered an improperly tested and certified to be good and after effect free vaccine.
People have gone almost completely to living their normal life aside from accessing mainly government owned establishments and corporate organizations which is well monitored by the government not to fault in complying to Covid19 guidelines. It's been almost a year since the pandemic struck and people have lost trust in the system for a laboratory prepared cure or vaccine. Natural immunity seems to be the only chance at it and I believe the people know this now to be true.
4679  Other / Serious discussion / Re: I'm seriously concerned about the money being stuffed down the vaccine toilet. on: October 13, 2020, 05:29:19 PM
What a damage the coronavirus have done for the world. We have become so confused that we can't tell the difference between our left from our right or where to place our priorities. It's so obvious. Governments of nations, institutes, organizations have spent more in trying to provide solution for this pandemic but all efforts seem to be laid bare. It's obvious the we are yet to receive the heat from this supplux out of budget spending once we get to start living with this thing which most of us are already doing and it almost feel like, there is no Covid19 amongst us no more.
Evolution has always been known to take care of situations like this if what science tells us is really through so, let's learn to live with it in respect to it's guidelines and hope for the best. Perhaps in time our bodies would emerge natural immunity towards this pandemic coupled with the available researchers done to even better it.
Mr. Trump was declared not to be contagious by the white houses data, what's the trick?
What's the rest of the world missing or not getting?
The whole pandemic thing still remains a course of wonder!
4680  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Your challenges will go away soon, don't worry too much on: October 13, 2020, 05:14:32 PM
the secret to completing a challenge. is to stop calling it a challenge.
That's the thing. It's called challenge, like a dare that says you can by telling you you can't. I don't know if your getting it but what I'm trying to say is that, there is no part of the word challenge that says, your never going to over come this. Challenges are rather a motivation, a bumpy part that leads to even greater heights and as well, it stands to be a barrier for those that don't have the qualities and potential to attain and sustain that greatet height because, even when attained, it could also drag you down.
Challenge is like a visitor that comes and it most go
I don't agree with the fact that, challenges do come and go. I believe they are always there to stay, watching to pull you down with your slightest mistake. You've just got to know that behind every challenge lies your dreams. So, you've just got to overcome.
