They are a clear scam. First they are saying they raised $136 m with just some 850 investors which they are claiming as institutional investors, seems absurd. Then the Manhattan fund which was supposed to have invested $1.5 million has a website hosted on same server as their official websites.

These scammers are lying with us, i would not believe anything that has been written by these scammers until they can prove it. Remember this amount can be manipulated. As for me, I hold a big amount of XRP and don't plan to sell it in the nearest future. I'm in profit but I want more. Don't sale before global pumps.
According to my theory, XRP could hit $1 without any global pumps. It could but the company just create a big hype to attract more buyers. I thought that the pump of ripple will not so long consider about the past chart of ripple when there was a short-term increase on its price and then surpass ethereum's market capitalization and then it backs again to the bottom. Hello everyone, I have seen many failed projects recently. I have received many emails regarding investing on ICOs, so is it still a good time to invest? I didn't made good with my earlier investments. Is there still a future for ERC-20 tokens?
I'm sure that most of the tokens ERC20 won't survive after this crypto storm. Only those ones that give a real value will stay on the market. And if you are a lucky owner of such tokens then you can easily become a millionaire just in a year or a few. Be sure of that) Only ERC20 project that can give us product will always survive no matter what happened with the market. All of ERC20 tokens which have created products still alive and i guess that will be forever. Some of them have been giving beta access to the investors or even their product has already alive. But it's a bit difficult to become the next millionaire right now. |

This sounds like a joke, you want to start a business with ICO but you have no plans and ideas, what plans do you have to start ICO? It's a good idea to plan what you need to do first, make a team that is already experienced with the design of your plan, make a research level of success so investors want to invest with ICO that you make, and for marketing there are many ways you can do, build hype with airdrop or Bounty campaign, make videos on youtube etc.
But i was feeling about this, that means OP and his friends have zero knowledge about ico. Marketing has been including on the basic factors towards the success of ico itself. Previous bullruns were also more or less triggered by the halvings, so I think you might be right. (See also the LTC halving which will occur in less than 12 months!)
The only question here is: What price level do we have until then? We are in a bear market currently so anything from $1k to $10k until then seems possible right now....
I don't care so much about the price of bitcoin as long as this halving will push the price of bitcoin to the bullish trend. Remember if there was a lot of people are still waiting for the bullish trend. But halving will come in a few years later and it's expected to be 2020. It's a very long time journey for us waiting for the next halving for bitcoin in the future,. We have been waiting for this reduction for a long time.Everyone is hoping for a price increase.Not the fact that the price will be 2 times higher but my opinion or everything will disappear completely or the price of bitcoin will be prohibitively high.And all who then want to buy bitcoin will just look at those who have bitcoin with envy  .I'm really surprised why many people buy cars instead of bitcoin.  I think that there is nothing surprising here, especially if you look at the situation when my cryptocurrency users bought Bitcoin at the end of 2017. To date, their assets have fallen significantly. Based on this, many have lost confidence in Bitcoin and realize their dreams by buying cars, not Bitcoin. Why do you think that this market compared to traditional markets is too small compared to governments. That's why governments have not really paid much attention to legislation for the crypto market. I've just made an XRP transaction and it felt surreal, it literally took seconds. Future is going to be great whether this crypto or any other is used daily.
I suggest you to try DAG system which gives you the possibility to create an instant transaction. Crypto just need the more time to change anything that related to the transaction and payment system. The decentralized will create a secure payment system if that was not pegged with the centralized party. |

Two days ago Vitalik Buterin announced that Ethereum 2.0 is "Really Not So Far Away".
The major change will be the transfer to proof of stake concensus algorithm (aka Project Casper). For those who don't know, proof of stake is ownership-based and will not require "mining" as we know it.
What are your thought about this?
This will become a big thing in the future consider vitalik has said that the developer will think to make the minimum requirement can be filled even by a small holders. This means if everyone able to participate in the staking. I guess that will bring a lot of benefit to the ethereum in the future and i just waiting for that. |

Some have already released their products but the sad thing is that nobody's using them. I have seen hundreds of crowdsales, loads of products but the majority of them are trying to solve non-existing problems. There is no user base, just token holders.
And this is a big problem. Most projects have solutions to problems that are not relevant now, that is, ideas are not used, and therefore there is no need for the project, all this leads to the fact that the project token falls in price because no one needs it. Most of them created non sense idea and i have seen that so many times when there was a project was creating an ico to solve irrelevant problem. These guys must learn about how to discover the real problem and try to search the best answer to fix it. One of non sense idea just like decentralized VR and what will be fixed by the project that created decentralized VR? that's a joke |

$2,000 by January 2019 for ethereum? Yes it is possible but thats difficult to make it happen. Where not even close to it so I think we need more years to come before reaching $2,000 and so on. Speculations like this is okay but to make it happen is hard. I dont think that we are going to see it even at the end of 2019.
Have you seen any good support in the bitcoin market to create a pump for the bitcoin? no pump for bitcoin means no pump for ethereum too. If that was a real thing and then no pump for crypto. Dogecoin is a coin that emerged in order to prank. The price rises several times a year and then falls again. If you buy during these periods of ascension, you can make money. I don't think there is another future potential  I agree with you. Investing in Dogecoin is pointless in the long run, but if you are a trader then it still doesn't make much sense, unless sometimes making a profit from pumping it. I am not in loss unless I sell my holdings. Nobody likes the red candles in the market but whatever comes up surely comes down too. Soon we will see greenery in the market for sure.
After the fall, there is always growth, but it seems to me that the market will not return to the amounts that were in that year. But I will not sell my coins that I bought that year, so as not to lose a lot of money. Not for this time. I didn't even see something good in the crypto. Yes. Many projects died and it is the truth. I think it only the beginning of the end and projects will die every day soon.
Most of them didn't have any product and that's the main reason why a lot of projects will die in the future. Mostly of people are only interested to put their money on the project which has created fully working product to be used by the investors. This is why 80% of the existing coin will die because they have nothing to be used or to attract the new comers. |
