4661  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC Go for Another All Time High This Year? on: June 26, 2021, 07:58:07 AM
The sentiment around here seems kinda mixed.  WO thread seems slightly bearish but I see people in other threads that are slightly bullish.  So..  for the bulls out there, do you guys think BTC will break out of its recent high of 65k USD this year?  If yes, please explain why.

It's really mixed before my vote it was even, people are divided if we are still in the bull or bear market, it's hard to see a good sign if we are still going to pass the $65k mark, but as long as we are still months before the end of the year, anything can happen, Bitcoin can go up by 20% who knows it can reach that again before the end of the year.
4662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Far from possible but let's just say on: June 26, 2021, 07:47:22 AM
Let's just say you woke up one morning and you noticed that something odd is up with BTC and you look closer only to realise that BTC is down to 1$ meaning it's dead to many, would you still decide to buy some or you will exit crypto space instantly

Nothing is impossible in this world, who would have thought that Bitcoin will command a 6 digits price ten years after it was created, if ever Bitcoin reach that price for whatever reason, I will buy at least $100 the amount that I am comfortable in buying, as long as Bitcoin blockchain is working and we can still transact, who knows it will resurrect again, I have to wake up for this dream too, only the absent of the internet can that happen or disruption of the chain.
4663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still thinks that crypto is manipulation free? on: June 26, 2021, 04:18:11 AM
It's not the right time to start buying crypto coins right now because the next chapter for crypto with be filled with lots of bad news just to pull crypto value down and down so that they can buy for way cheaper price, who are they anyways? We'll figure that out yourself, bear market is 💯 real and it's coming, be prepared for more bad news

There's always bad news on the bear and bull market and whales can always manipulate the market even if there are bad or good news around, if you are small or medium investors just go with the flow, buy low and sell high, let these whales set the phase as long as you are investing in the right coin and project you are good to go.
4664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Breaking : Donaire Versus Casimero on: June 25, 2021, 06:46:49 AM
That is Casimero's style, he is so brandish and arrogant in every fight, but it brings the best out of him. And he can back up his talk, because in his last couple of fights, he knock out his opponent.

He has not even reached half of what Donaire and Pacquiao have achieved to brag like that, I know all Filipino fighters are very humble but Casimero is an exception, he is very boastful he thinks and acts like he is the greatest and shows no respect to Donaire he told on one on video that he will punish Donaire, who do you think he is, we'll see if he can prove that in their fight date.

The shitposting in the gambling sections has reached an ATH... that`s bad news unfortunately...

No, there is no ERC-20 BFG of course...

It's really bad news if you have an account on Betfury, the only way you can deposit and withdraw is by using a BEP supported wallet or install a BSC, not because the address starts with 0X we can consider this an ERC20 address there's already a bridge created by Binance, and besides it's a good decision that they prefer Binance chain over the others.

A casino that has spent so much effort building their brand, developing their project and getting licensed is not likely to ruin their reputation by rugpulling their exchange users.

I am not comfortable with a coin with only one exchange Betfury is doing great and will continue to be great, but they need an additional exchange to boost their presence in the market and generate more supports Biswap is a great find but for a token to launch they need more options, I checked on Coingecko and Coinmarketcap until now they are not listed I know some projects who easily get into these two in just a matter of weeks.
4667  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|⚡️Free BTC+BNB|⚡️$3.5mln Staking pool|⚡️BFG listing party on: June 22, 2021, 02:53:09 PM

Let`s not be naive - it couldn`t be more obvious that BetFury & Biswap are affiliated (more than that fwiw...) - the fact they deny it doesn`t help credibility, not at all... So yeah, it definitely matters.

I think chances are high that they are related but why not embrace it ? As you say, the confusion around this doesn't help credibility, which is a pity.
The site has greatly been improved the last couple of months, but communication (as always) can be a lot better.

I don't care and it doesn't matter to me if they are related as long as they are following their roadmap and they are making progress, it's like hitting two birds with one stone if they become successful, the market is dropping but the price of both tokens are not dropping further I already made a profit but looking for the next round of profit again.
4668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Vegas Casinos to allow Cannabis Lounges. on: June 21, 2021, 11:35:03 PM

- I do think that this is a step taken by both casinos and the government to ensure that people loose more, so that they do not care about what they are doing and at the end both the casinos and the government will make more money this way.
I surely think that this might not be the way to go, alcoholic drinks are served in the casinos for a reason. I do think that this might be a "happy news" for most people but at the same time you should realize that this is something that will drastically reduce your chances of winning.

The Cannabis users and community are growing in Vegas and they are recognizing them by setting up lounges like this, yes government and casinos can make money by giving them special places in the casinos to hang out, it's an invitation for them to play and hang out and maybe they got a study that many cannabis users are also gambling or wants cannabis users to play, this will bring back the glory days of the casinos after the pandemic.
4669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Meme Coin Will Survive Long on: June 20, 2021, 01:02:51 PM
Now a day hundreds of meme coins launching with too much supply and no use case so what do you think about meme coins and will some meme coins survive long or they will all runaway ?
They have a short life plan, because they are part of the hype that will soon die down, if Elon Musk did not shill Dogecoin this meme are not going to exist, once the hype dies down everything will die down about meme coin, so if you are going to invest be sure that you know the right time to dump, don't be late in dumping or you will pay the price.
4670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High discount in presale on: June 20, 2021, 11:59:27 AM
Is 75$ discount in presale of a project way too high? What do you think will happen to such project giving away too high discount for a presale? Will this cos huge dump or you've seen projects that survives after such massive discount

It's presale and they want to lure and attract early birds so the sales can take off, it's not really the discount but the potential of the wallet that really matters I have invested in a project with a very high presale discount they get in the market set up their platform but like all the projects in the bear market they cannot keep up, but I made a good profit from that project coming from presales.

I also bought BFG for staking I go the other way by buying and staking while hodling, but when I am about to deposit my BFG token to Betfury I have problems with log in everything is not working fine the password reset where they ask to change the password the 2FA I hope they fix it I and everything will work fine this is the first time I encounter this issue, although I read some members are having this issues in the past.

This is the error I'm seeing every time I tried.
ERROR

Most probably it could be the traffic congestion when everyone tried to withdraw their BFG tokens when it first went live.

But once I reset my password on the PC (that was yesterday), it worked fine.

Things are back to normal now I can access my account and do a round of betting, right now it's a good idea to buy and hodl BFG and stake it, I'm waiting for the next action now I'm hoping for two like launching a signature campaign and getting listed in Binance, of course, Binance will bring a lot of attention to BFG, signature or bounty campaign again will generate more users and updates more potential players.

If you try to buy BFG on PancakeSwap there is a huge price impact. Until there is enough liquidity on there it is best to stay with Biswap.

Yesterday I sold some BFG at $0.20 and seeing the price today was too tempting and I had to buy back some BFG. If the numbers on BSCscan are accurate and the supply is 2.7 billion then the market cap is under $100 million dollars. It should definitely be worth more and I expect the price to go up when people are done dumping.

4674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are meme tokens dangerous or moon on: June 16, 2021, 10:58:12 AM
This is a thread where we will discuss meme tokens that are unrugable and which can moon. We will detail steps to avoid being scammed. We will discuss signs that a token is going to moon. We will give updates on our offical meme token Jomon Shiba aka $JSHIBA.

Your meme shitcoin is going to become worthless and one year from now nobody will ever know that there is a shitcoin named like that, there is no use case and created only because of Dogecoin hype, after Dogecoin hype dies down, shitcoin like your coin is going to worth nothing, imagine a coin with ONE HUNDRED QUADRILLION where is the coin going but only on oblivion.
4675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Economic Costs of Gambling on: June 15, 2021, 01:55:36 AM

1. Gambling in fact has many negative externalities. If someone gets addicted, the likelihood is much higher to be depressed. Depression is factor, which leads to high costs for the society.

2. Gambling addiction leads to economic costs because of crime actions. Other market actors have to increase their security standards, which means higher costs.

3. Many gambling addicts go as a consequence to jail. Jail means EXTREMELY high costs to society.

What are your thoughts on this topic?

Unfortunately, government do not look at this kind of stat they are more looking at the revenue they can collect from the taxes they impose on these casinos and from their workers and from companies that are associated with gambling casinos, they allocate a small portion of funds from the victims of gambling and they still have a big chunk of the revenues
4676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying old coins: Is it worth it? on: June 14, 2021, 09:11:48 PM
With all of the hype surrounding "De-Fi" and NFTs, it looks like old coins like Peercoin, Primecoin, and Quark have been left in the dust. This is sad, considering that the aforementioned coins have a proven track record of stability and reliability. New coins are usually less secure than old ones. Despite the low interest/demand for old coins, they're still actively traded on the market.

I'm wondering whenever it's worth buying and holding old coins for the long term. Primecoin is one of its kind with a PoW algorithm that contributes towards the discovery of prime numbers. It's a pity other crypto projects haven't copied its model. Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley

It depends on the coins, some of the coins are still in the top 10 and the number one coin is still the original coin and the oldest coin in the industry Bitcoin, and Dogecoin is also an old coin and it made a huge wave and become the trend because of Elon Musk so we must not ignore these old coins they are still worth investing because of their huge community.
4677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New altcoins questions on: June 14, 2021, 08:58:08 PM

They are holding a huge amount of the coin (>95%) in a main account, being very transparent about it. They are using this to make social/community contributions. Is it normal to have the Devs holding such huge bags?

There are no humans listed on the site as the project team. Should this be a major concern?

Thanks!!

I don't trust project where a huge amount of the token is in the hands of the team, they may at anytime dump their huge shares in the market leaving the presale investors losing their money, and if they are going to do crowdfunding they should be more transparent by showing the people behind the project, it's ok if they are not going to ask money but not applicable if they are going to ask for money.
4678  Economy / Speculation / Re: The calm before the storm? on: June 14, 2021, 02:23:05 PM

$40k-$42k is the big barrier, I believed that if we can break it today, we will have a good break out run. I can't remember, but we have been trying to break that big wall of $40k and we have tried like five times already and we always failed. I do hope this time we will be successful.

After a few weeks in the $34-38k level, we finally bridge the $40k level, this is another shot for a big run, I hope this is the start of something big for us, and Elon stop spreading FUD on Bitcoin, it's time for the community to take action and buy and encourage people to buy Bitcoin, we have to prove to Elon that we can stand on our own.
4679  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is $65,000 the peak of this bull market? on: June 14, 2021, 09:25:21 AM

We've seen bitcoin hit ATH in the last few months but whether it might take another 3 months to get back to ATH, no one knows. But from the convincing speculation that hopes of hitting $100k are getting closer, I smell it.

I hope you have a good smell and you really smell that we are going to hit $100k, so many investors are predicting the $100k level, I'm one of those guys who predicted the $100k level and I'm keeping my hopes alive as long as there are only FUDS and no bad news like the pandemic that we've had, hope is still alive and it should be burning.
4680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Big companies finally had enough of the excessive tax on: June 14, 2021, 09:18:34 AM
20%? Is this even real ? Most of the companies not related to gambling pay lower than 10% but not the same in Kenya when it comes to the sports gambling. Now the biggest football clubs have joined hands to oppose this rule.

Sports gambling is one of the active activities during a pandemic and they are making it their cash cow, imagine 20% but what if sports betting weaken, it's not always a season every year, they could kill the sports betting industry if they insist on putting a very high 20% on sports betting industry, they are right to protest it, they should do a consultation first, before imposing.
