Admin - your site has been overrun by 1-3 people who are simultaneously playing up to a dozen accounts, flagrantly.

In just the last few days it has become completely unplayable, and I see that several of the 'real' players have simply stopped showing up. Unless you are going to administer/police the site adequately, you are better off cutting your losses and just closing shop. Seriously ... you try play your own tourneys today/tomorrow and see for yourself.

This site has turned into a complete farce ... one or two people are playing about 30 accounts simultaneously, rendering games unplayable.

What a pile of sh*t ...

Don't say that! You're the one that put me down for bringing up potential issues. Now just a week or two later you're contradicting yourself.
4682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DVC]DevCoin - Official Thread - Moderated on: June 02, 2015, 05:53:25 PM
OK who's in charge in here? let's talk about what to do of this coin before it really dies.
First of all, why don't we introduce the halving just as btc. Should be about time now.

anche check your coinzen forum, someone is spamming it like a garbage bin.

No idea who's in charge anymore. Some of us admins have somehow been missing months of payments, despite following through with our jobs during the entire period. There are a lot of fixes that need to be dealt with before things like halving are even talked about, and there are apparently people getting a LOT more coins than they should be.
4683  Economy / Services / Re: Quality Web Programming Services on: June 02, 2015, 05:41:34 PM
Are you able to do custom WordPress modules and such? And even more complicated sites (such as databases that are based on Wiki)? If so, I may need your services a little later, especially if you would be able to quote a flat-rate based on my request instead of hourly.

- snip -

I have not explored WordPress yet, so I'm afraid I have to say no to the custom modules.

As for complicated sites, yes - I'm up for the job. I don't understand "such as databases that based on Wiki" though. Do you mean me building a wiki for a project or do you mean the database is filled with data scraped from Wikipedia?

If you express your request more clearly I would be glad to give you a quote.

Sending a PM about it, Smiley.

Quoting my last post, :p.

I may open the door later to a really big project I want to get off the ground. I have a multi-page design document for the long-term success of the site. But I'm trying to break it down into smaller parts so I can get a developer as needed instead of having to pay it all off at once.
4685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com : Invest in 1% House Edge Dice Game on: June 02, 2015, 05:45:29 AM
You are the only dice site that no auto-bet feature. Shocked

And probably the only one that doesn't advertise, and one of the few to allow players to have themselves banned from betting.

You'll never see us posting here encouraging anyone to bet. Those "look how much this guy just won, see how easy it is, you should try it too!" posts made by other sites make me feel ill. It isn't easy to beat the house edge, and it isn't "easy money". Pretending that it is feels bad to me.

For similar reasons we don't offer an auto-bet feature so that delusional players can run their "system" while they sleep...

A big thing that draws ME into the site goes even further: you're (Dooglus) a very transparent person. I remember the day when you left an encrypted USB drive in a hotel room or something, and moved all the coins to a new wallet anyways (even though wallet passwords are still seen as uncrackable when using a safe password). You could have just as easily kept quiet about that and claimed it was an "optimization" decision. These things go a long way with me, and help show a lot of accountability and trustworthiness.

First month FREE - Use promo code "BITCOINTALK" - Order Now

Giving a free bump while asking this publicly (I can't be the only one curious). How long has your business been up and running? Or more specifically, how long has the host been running? And let's say you had to shut down tomorrow for some reason (people close businesses for all sorts of reasons): would there be enough of a heads-up for people to back up/download a backup of their sites?
4687  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitcoinPoker.gg - High Stakes. High Rewards - Secure Bitcoin Poker on: June 01, 2015, 09:43:57 PM
What are the highest stakes being played regularly/observed ever?

There aren't high stakes at the moment, the highest tournament I have played is 1chip rebuy and the highest cash game is 0.10-0.20 chip. Tiny freerolls hopefully next time I decide to take a trip there we can get some players.

There are high stakes games but nobody is playing them, I want around 5-10 of us to play the 50chip buy in if anyone else is interested lets arrange it and make it start. Be a nice game that would, you would start attracting more players to it if you made it a 500chip GTD but it needs 5 or 7 players to start.

sounds great but I doubt that other players will be interested to join, since it is hard to find other players in ring games even in the lowest stake and buy in.
And I have already suggested higher GTD tourney  few weeks ago, but I doubt OP will make it sooner. As long as I know, OP is still focusing on how to attract players to play on ring games.

Players here are not ring game grinders in bitcoinpoker from what I have found that is well established fiat sites imo. Has OP looked at the biggest bitcoinpoker sites ring games? Not sure he has or he would sack that idea and concentrate on decent GTD games and once you have bigger players threw the door then they will play nice ring games in between MTT's 'if it suits them. Anyway I am still keeping an eye on it, hopefully admin finds some more time for it and promotions or nothing will happen here unfortunately.

I know the GTD's are better to focus on. We are still seeing how the 25 GTD's are doing before moving forward with bigger GTD's. I do agree, I personally think the GTD's are better to focus on than ring games.

From a business perspective, you may be entirely correct.  However, since I love ring games, I hope you won't forget about them entirely.  I wonder if any kind of special promotion could help drive up the traffic on your site.  Have you considered an affiliate/referral program for bringing new players?

We will not forget about ring games. And yes we have considered an affiliate program and could possibly be on our to-do list.

Looking forward to an affiliate program, Smiley. That would be immensely helpful in getting people to refer other players.

HI all, I started a new crowdfunding project for a new computer for Coin Quest: Dark Stakes,
using Indiegogo again for this one. I have included addresses for
Bitcoin, Hyper, GP,  and C2 if you don't do fiat.  Once I get 20 percent of my goal of $999.00 usd
Which is $198.00 usd . I will do a video on the Periscope app that is
on Android and IOS.  I will smash my old dead computer in my
parking lot. I will upload the video to youtube later as well if you cant
watch live.

Please check out, help and share. Smiley

Thank you.

You should post links to other games you've worked on or demos or something. After reading this, I left with the impression "oh, it's another stranger that thinks they might like to develop a game, probably has no idea what they're doing and just thinks the new PC will assist them in doing it. It obviously won't get completed."

Note that this may not be TRUE, but with how many others are just like that that ARE, you need to stand out and show what you have already done, what your knowledge is, something. This is no different than saying "I want to make a movie about zombies. I need $10k for a camera and a computer for editing," and not adding anything about my past.

Well, this is my first game, do some research into my story. I'm also helping with Chain Of Conflict.  I'm really a photographer. I have put my
face on Coin2. I will be honest, I'm a total newbie at game creation. So the whole project is how a person new to game development, can go from beginning to completion.
I will be twitching it, and google hangout also. So you will see me constant banging my head making this game over the next 6 months. The challenge is, I need a new computer to do this. Without it, I can't even run Unreal Engine 4. I'm using UE4 because it has visual scripting. Which means you can be a artist and not have to learn programming.  Thanks for your skepticism. Smiley

It looks like you completely missed the message behind my post. I don't care who you are or what you've done. But that's because I don't believe in the whole "crowdsourcing" mechanism as it is. But none of this is relevant. What is relevant is that on your crowdsourcing page, you should be trying to sell yourself. If you don't, people aren't going to donate. It's that simple. I read over it and saw nothing that illustrates why anyone should donate to you or what your experience is within the field and a proof of concept or anything else. Without these, nobody is going to donate to you because you have nothing to show. Basically it's just a post saying "buy me a computer. I may or may not make a game, you'll just have to see once I get the new PC. Thanks."

Think of it like an investor meeting. You have to show why you're the person for this job and why people should believe in you. For reference, take successful game campaigns there and look them over. You'll see that they all have one thing in common: they instill confidence in their donors that they can successfully accomplish the goal with the funds provided.

4691  Economy / Services / Re: ★★ Selling Social Media Services ★★ ➡➡Free Followers Next 20 posts! on: May 29, 2015, 11:31:17 PM
As an update...

110+ followers were obtained a few weeks ago. I've made three tweets in 12 days now. I lost all but 2 of them seemingly overnight.
I strive for customer service in any buisness I own, I will see to it that you get your followers back. Please give me a few days Smiley

Thanks! Will report back again, Smiley. As a heads-up, I'm not trying to destroy your business or be negative towards you. I just pride myself on giving honest reviews.

With that said, the situation was really weird. It was like a mass exodus all at once or something. Definitely not "normal" behavior I don't think.
4692  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Fun game to earn Bitcoin. on: May 29, 2015, 07:42:42 PM
There are tons of more games that give you bits but they are all a waste of time bro.

Pretty much.  If you do the math and see how much you are actually earning it comes out to pennies a week.  If you are playing for fun then its ok.  But if you are looking to actually make money then you time would be spent better doing literally anything else, such as smoking weed, pan handling, mowing lawns, or even a minimum wage job. I played around with faucets a little bit but none of them were worth the time and effort. However if you have to use them then at least try a rotator.  It will smooth out the process a little.

You realize the entire point of his post was to share his affiliate link, right? He has one post. It's a spam post. That in itself should be a hint.

Oh I guess you are right.  Silly me for assuming he was asking a legit question.  I think there are better ways of getting your link out there but I suppose you can't blame a guy for trying.

As a heads-up, that wasn't an attack on you (I was re-reading what I posted and I think it might have seemed that way). This is just something that is happening ALL the time across here and the Bitcoin subreddits and it's beyond annoying. Between this and people posting about how "is cloud mining (REF LINK HERE) worth it? This site looks good!" and the like, it's just old.

obviously he just try to made some spam about his site, but  the question is,¿why is this thread still here?

this thread should be moved to the gambling-> games and rounds https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=71.0

or just in gambling https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=56.0

im not sure in what place should be, but for sure this is not his place.

Services or service announcements, IMO. But his affiliate link should be removed beforehand. Possibly even remove the entire link and just leave the name of the site.

you do realise that its even more sneeky then that.. the OP is probably the site owner and advertising his own site. the only reason to mention the referral part is to make people think they can earn by playing and by skimming a little off the top via affiliate commission

That's possible, too. In any case, the first couple posts acted like this was a legitimate post where someone really wanted to share something and it wasn't in a selfish manner.

It'd be nice if moderators were more proactive about this crap though. I've reported similar posts in the past and nothing ever gets done (other than me getting a lower "accuracy" rating).

I'd be more apt to take the site seriously if the admins would actually read/respond to concerns. As it is, it's like they started the site and ditched it. Hard to give it ANY second thought at all when it's treated like this.

They are giving out free chips via faucet and poker freerolls, to anonymous players, no deposit required ... and you have 'concerns.'

This site is not for you buddy ...

This is so lol-worthy now. Seriously.

Admin,

Your 'contact us' form on the website doesn't appear to work for me. It is giving me a red "X" where my username is ... lol.

**Please note my request to cancel the pending withdrawal submitted on 20 May for 0.0135 btc. The btc address I provided has been compromised.

Thanks.
that "contact us" dun work . already email them together with my withdrawal issue , yet to have reply

The funny thing is that a couple weeks ago when I brought up how I wasn't feeling too comfortable with the site because support isn't responsive, I was bashed because "it's free money." It's kind of funny, though.
