I think Manchester United is stronger and more consistent this year with only three lost games. If they continue like this they are the top contender to win the title now that Liverpool has made a lot of mistakes lately.Manchester City is not that consistent although lately they have recovered quite well.

I wouldn't write off Spurs or even Leicester yet. It's still pretty open really though City do still have two games in hand which will take them to the top with two points clear. Everton and Villa are the two cancelled games I think and neither are a push over. They're even occupying 7th and 8th places. I'd rather see a different team win it from the usual lot.

And here’s the interesting bit...  United will play vs Burnley at the midweek to catch up.  If they win that, they’d be the leading the league when they play LFC the very next weekend.  Should be good.

Hopefully Burnley will beat them. They haven't been playing too bad recently and will want to stay clear of the relegation zone. It's at home for them as well. I'll probably watch that game.

If you’re a Liverpool fan.  Grin  As a neutral I’d like to see them win vs Burnley just to see things get more interesting.  Football has been a bit boring this season.

And if there was a stadium full of fans for the derby and VAR pulls off millimeter offsides shenanigans again, removing goals a minute later...  There’d be a riot.

I think it’s starting guys...  Alts up by a lot vs USD and trending vs BTC.  Here’s the thing tho...  Most alts price rises are usually short lived.  Good luck on your picks.

^  I have had some bets cancelled..  A couple of times or so with a fiat bookie.  I think it’s standard that they cancel the bet if the line is stale.  But I heard some people get away with it tho.  Esp if the book is weak.

^  And check the table.  United still is a fixture behind and so is Tottenham.  City is two fixtures behind.  And here’s the interesting bit...  United will play vs Burnley at the midweek to catch up.  If they win that, they’d be the leading the league when they play LFC the very next weekend.  Should be good.

I am just not sure if that applies to crypto as well  Undecided

No way...  It’s all about the destination as far as trading crypto is concerned.  We want the most reward with minimum effort as much as possible.  Grin

But you just couldn’t tell with some people tho.  Lol.
4686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 05, 2021, 05:45:26 PM
^  Yup..  Kattar is a step down in competition for Holloway.  I know people could say that Holloway is 1 - 3 in his last 4 matches.  But who did he lose to?  Beast mode Poirier and two close fights vs Volk.  The second one lost due to bad judging imo.

On the mental side of things, dunno...  But if I get a good price on Holloway, I’m going for him.  Kattar’s line did look good at 2.50.  It’s at 2.35 or worse now in most books.
4687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 05, 2021, 05:33:59 PM
PSG could have won even last year, everyone looks at hindsight and say that Bayern was the much better team, however finals have this sort of magical situation where you could be any great team and you could still end up losing for just one game, look at the leagues, does PSG never lose? They lose to teams that are much worse, look at Bayern, do they never lose? They can even lose to teams bottom of the league, it is all luck in football at certain point and sometimes players are not on their days.

With Poch, I am sure PSG will get better, not only because he could be a better manager, but also because it would be fresh situation and everyone will get a reset. Think of it like your computer starting to run slow, you close it, wait a few minutes, reopen and suddenly it is better, you didn't change anything, but it is still better, think of this addition like that.

Against Bayern?  I don’t think so, no matter how you put it.  But you could make a case against any other club tho.  Bayern was just too good last season.  But yeah...  Chelsea did win against Bayern in 2012.  Lol.  I think they were 5 to 1 underdogs or something...

Anyway, where’s Tuchel going...?  I see Chelsea is struggling with Lampard.  Grin

Time goes fast and in no time we are going to watch Max Holloway fight again, and I have to say I miss UFC and MMA...watching so much European football meanwhile Smiley
I am looking early betting odds and Holloway is favorite to win, but I like all card as first even in 2021....give me anything to watch.

Eminem aka Marshall Mathers released short ESPN promo video clip for Dustin Poirier vs Conor McGregor fight:
https://twitter.com/Eminem/status/1343992360137613314

The line movement is going towards Kattar.  At first glance I like him..  But only at anything above 2.50.  Holloway has fought better competition and won his last bout vs Volk.  IMHO.  If Holloway’s line improves to around 1.75 - 1.80 or better, I’ll take him.

^  No idea...  But on days when he isn't cutting weight, Adesanya walks around with a good 200 lbs in him.  That's prolly his normai weight so it shouldn't really be a problem for him to move up.
Adesanya started using the name of Jon Jones to get attention and he got that and till now he was teasing Jon Jones that he will move up and Jones was already calling him out for a long time and once Jones vacated the belt and announced that he will only fight again in the heavyweight division Adesanya decided to move up in weight  Cheesy.

Adesanya is pretty serious about fighting Jones.  He even has a date in mind.  July 2021 during international fight week...  Anyway, we’ll see how he does vs Blachowicz this March.

^  Yup...  I'm more excited for Adesanya vs Blachowicz for the LHW title this coming March.  If Adesanya wins, it sets him up for a match vs Jon Jones which is gonna be huuuge.

Edit:  And the events and press conferences leading to that bout is gonna be goood.  Smiley

0.2 BTC in hand.. One Altcoin to invest? Please share your thoughts.

Viacoin.  Has pretty muched bottomed out on price, but solid developers working on the platform.  If you only have .2btc total I wouldn't go all in on an alt I would definately keep some in straight btc.  Good luck to you either way

2014 called.  Rofl.  Noob asks for advice and you give him Viacoin?  I could be wrong but I think the coin is pretty much dead.  And who are the guys left developing this?  There was only Drak and Peter Todd.  It was around 6 - 7 years ago.

4694  Economy / Speculation / Re: another major resistance broke and the FOMO began on: January 02, 2021, 05:43:56 PM
today marks both a new price record for bitcoin in its decade long history and yet another case of a big FOMO that starts every time a major resistance is broken.
although we are going to see them quite often this year as this is going to be a bigger copy of 2017 as a fresh money starts coming into bitcoin once again.
similar to 2017 it could be expected that the trend continues all through the year with some slow down mid year with the real bubble at the end of the year.

what do you think?

Dunno...  Just from how fast it broke 30k and the way the chart looks, it feels more like the 2013 run.

Anyway, missed this one.  Makes me wish I listened to all the maxis around here.  Lol.  Congrats to all who held.

It has to be something bigger than bittrex.  This looks more coordinated.

Seems like it...

I wonder which exchange lead the dump.  Bittrex couldn't have lead it since it has only like 250k - 300k USD 24 hour volume for XMR.
4696  Economy / Speculation / Re: No Resistance From $30K-$40K? on: January 02, 2021, 04:53:56 PM
^  This run currently feels like 2013 when it went from 100 USD to 1000 USD than 2017's run imo.  There are lots of people who are at the wrong side or outside of it.  Including me.  Fml.

ETH competitors DOT, AVAX and ALGO are going up fast rn.  DOT is leaving the building...  Alt szn coming?

Anyway, another interesting spot:  CRV/BTC.  It hasn't really broken up yet but it's showing strength, it's at near lows and market cap at CMC is under 100m USD.  Could be value.

4699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: January 01, 2021, 03:49:46 PM
Their great form is only seen in Serie A. In the Champions League, they are not that great. Compared to Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Juventus is not that strong.
I don't think Juventus not good in UCL, because they are already proven before. Juventus going to quarter final in 2018/19, 2017/18, going to final 2016/17. going to quarter final is a good enough, since some top clubs failed in Round 16, even they are failed to get a title in final. IMO. They always play as good as they can in UCL, if they are failed in any round, it's doesn't mean not good. This season Juventus improved slowly, i think they are have a chance to going to semifinals, if their performance consistent.

I think Juventus has a pretty good performance in the Champions League, proof of being the winner of Group G beating Barcelona as the favorite
in that group. And Juventus achievements now in round 16 must be appreciated, because with a new coach being able to qualify for the group and
reaching round 16 is an achievement in my opinion. Because Inter Milan failed to reach round 16, so don't say Juventus are not strong and not good
in the Champions League.  Give Juventus the opportunity to prove as a strong team, which indeed Juventus has a very good chance of reaching
the semifinals.

You have to consider that Barca has been sucking lately with all the back room problems and they're not even in the top 4 at La Liga.  Overall poor form.

And I don't think Pirlo has the managerial chops to face and outfox the likes of Klopp, Pep, Tuchel, Zidane and even Nagelsmann in a tourney set up.
4700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: January 01, 2021, 03:39:13 PM
That draw of Liverpool with Newcastle is going to open up the spot for other teams to climb to. With three points today, Manchester United could equal the points with Liverpool. It should be a easy win for ManU against Aston Villa. For today, the win would be easier for Everton as well for Tottenham, Crystal palace and wolves.
Have you been watching the EPL season 2020/2021? Then Aston villa is not an easy win for Liverpool or even city, so they can't be an easy for united, Manchester united has been wining with late goals, Everton, crystal palace and wolves has few-none easy win this 2020/2021 and this second half to the season may make is less, none

^  Yup.  Aston Villa also has no loss i their last 5 matches.  And in their last match, it ended in a draw vs Chelsea which has a better squad than United imho.  But United has been in form as of late..  No losses in their last 9 matches.

United should win but it won't be easy.  Prolly 2 - 1 for United.
