Viacoin.  Has pretty muched bottomed out on price, but solid developers working on the platform.  If you only have .2btc total I wouldn't go all in on an alt I would definately keep some in straight btc.  Good luck to you either way

It is hard to choose right now as you can see the market is bleeding some would see it as a great time to see but we should also know that it is risky because it could continue to fall,
But I wouldn't suggest any particular altcoin for you what I suggest is go to CMC and look for the top list crypto.
I would suggest the top 10 you may choose any of them since they are already tested and they could survive on the market no matter how hard it goes.
Never try one of the new project since we don't know how long they would be active and if they would really be worth it for the long term investments.

I suggest  you invest on Binance coin. The price is quite low right now. Choose altcoins that was already established and reputable coins in the market. With the most choosen coins by investors. Since, blood bath is happening right now in crypto market, this is indeed a good opportunity to buy some coins.

I suggest you to use 0.1 btc to buy ethereum and don't buy the other coins. When ethereum prices can increase for more than $250, you can sell it and wait for more to see if ethereum will go down again. It will need time to see when ethereum price will go down, but that is worth to wait because every time bitcoin up and down, the altcoin will follow. Or you don't have to buy altcoin and only hold your bitcoin until the price can increase. You should keep your 0.2 BTC if I were you. Can you see the price movement of cryptocurrencies price right now? Most of them are dumping, bitcoin price has been decreasing to below $9000 and it is horrible. But when I compare the decrease price with another altcoins seem like bitcoin is still reasonable. This is why I suggest you to only choose bitcoin and your investment place, but if you force yourself you can choosw the top altcoin like ETH or Ripple seem like both of coins are promissing I guess.

This downtrend is usually a temporary scenario that we always get to encounter in our lives being a bitcoin enthusiast or crypto person as a whole. I'd rather hold the bitcoin first as much as I can.

EOS because its on top of the market and has better platform for dapps in the future. Its price can go up anytime soon. I'm looking at it just as how ETH started its journey. There use to be so much fud aiming ETH during the days I didn't even look at it as fud but truth during that time. 0.2BTC isn't that big to invest on project for a long time but it will do since it all up to you.

Actually, I don't recommend changing your bitcoin at this time, but if you want to change it to altcoin, I suggest choosing the equivalent altcoin. however, so far the potential for altcoin development which is almost competitive with bitcoin is ethereum. I heard that ethereum will become ethereum 2.0 this year, so it's comparable to bitcoin that will get halving this year.

Anyway why dont you just hold your bitcoin since halving is few months away? Some investors are accumulating btc yet you want to spend yours to buy alt. If its me I will hold my 0.2 btc (the market is in dip so dont spend it) and use fiat to buy alts.

Even for short term, don't get engaged to new coins or tokens. I think it's highly risky for someone who's even asking what to buy with his money. For people like OP, he needs to be careful if he will get into that venture of buying new tokens.

Don't give yourself a headache OP, you only need to buy the very known coins that are already raking high market capitalization or else, choose the option of not buying anything.
