The team that Pep Guardiola takes charge of seems to get a new life. He really knows magic. I really enjoy Man City's match. It hurts when they lose, but I’ve never been so bored watching them play. I'm annoyed to see Man Utd's match in this season. I expect a big change for their team in the next match. Otherwise they will lose more match and they will not be in the top 5 of the point table in this season.
That's the thing. Being funded is one thing, knowing and buying the players that would suit your desired formation and style of play is another thing. They all come together to present a master piece of football. Hence, after buying your desired players and yet, you aren't getting results, it's always going to be you to blame. Not the players even. At times players takes the coaches to heart and just want to do away with them by their attitude on the pitch no doubt but it still revolves around the coach and how he relates with his players. I know this might not be the case of Manchester United but let's look at Klopp and the way he relates with his team, it's quite a father and sons relationship I see there and as such, the result often comes out beautifully.
A fan of Manchester United goes into the arena or a game center and is already heart broken even before the games starts. So undesirable and shouldn't be. The team under this management is really not reliable at the games.

It's a nice initiative @OP and it would help reduce spam as users would tend to be good cultured in a bid to emerge as a nominee for a category and as such stay active. Though, I'll suggest that the categories should be subject to ranks. Like, all categories should be incorporated into every rank amongst those of that specific ranks else, the Hero/Legendary users would have more advantage in contrast to lower ranks.

Also, I think this is going to have some effect on the merit system as nominees would tend to use merit in running campaigns through private message to other users, especially those of lower ranks. Probably send them merits indiscreminately as it is what most low rank users source for,  in a bid to gain more votes which would be an abuse on the merit system.
4683  Other / Meta / Re: Shouldn't bounty managers clean up spam posts in their thread ? on: October 12, 2020, 04:45:44 PM
I guess they just get disheartened by looking at the number of spammy posts, they just give up.

No-one is stopping them from finding a source of income that doesn't get them disheartened and at the same time does respect the forum rules.
That's it, it's the job. Your paid to ensure all that. Supposing the forum passes a rule that penalizes bounty or signature and avatar campaign managers as well as the individual user involved in spamming, don't you thick they will treat the spam with utmost urgency rather than wait for it to be noticed and the they get quarrelled over them? Because, I believe they would.
In fact, this actually could be a suggestion for review if such a rule is put in place. As you are as well a moderator of your thread. As a bounty or signature & avatar manager, you don't have to be overwhelmed by the responses you get on your thread, I know it's not easy that's why it's always in your hands to edit the rules as you deem fit. With that power, comes with responsibilities and how you set the rules ease's your stress as regards your thread.
4684  Other / Meta / Re: "Users posting "joined" type posts when not required or allowed will be BANNED" on: October 12, 2020, 04:32:46 PM
I don't think your fighting boredom at all, what your doing is what bounty managers and signature/avatar campaign managers are actually paid to do and it's rather stressful to me, you don't fight boredom with stress. Besides, you are actually teaching some of us, how it's done as per reporting boredom and also bringing to the notice of biginners who don't know that this form of posts on the forum in this manner are spamming the forum as well and you also remind managers and moderators the duties they are saddled. If you ask me, it's a fine and awesome job your doing to ensure the serenity of our little community.
Well, the ban punishment is always the ultimate especially, the permanent ban although, you suggested for temporal which is quite understandable. In my opinion, it's not that the moderators aren't seeing these spam messages and I won't say they aren't enforcing the rule either. At least, the spam was deleted a few times as you noted which is supposed to be a warning to the spammer but then, the spammer spams again and still go unpunished. This could be as a result of the moderator not to have kept trail on that particular user and as such, still plans to warn by deleting the post else, I believe the guilty user would and should be penalized.
4685  Other / Meta / Re: Shouldn't bounty managers clean up spam posts in their thread ? on: October 11, 2020, 05:23:59 PM
This isn't avoidable as they are using the thread as a way to report their requirements and it won't change until they find a solution externally. Also cleaning up hundreds of post will be an impossible task for the bounty manager as he is only one person. The solution I am currently seeing is for the future post reports done by the members which are to be sent elsewhere and they can do this maybe by sending their reports outside of Bitcointalk maybe with the help of Google Docs/GForms, with this way we won't be flooded by these kinds of posts in the future, and that we can maybe clean the past reports without any worry that it will pile up with new ones.
Good point. I some times see newbie accounts acting in the capacity of bounty managers. Probably it could be some users Alt which is not allowed and with that knowledge or fact that we assume all newbie accounts to be a potential new user of the forum, it's only natural we assume such account to be inexperienced and as such, can't function in such capacity.
Again, spamming on a bounty thread should come with a strict no pay rule to bring to the consciousness of the user the dangers of it and the stress it puts the managers and moderators in with regards to cleaning and having to go through messages on their thread.
On the issue of spammers dropping spam posts on already finished campaigns, the threads could be easily locked to prevent further activities on it coupled with the fact that, most bounty campagnes come with a telegram chat group to handle complains and provide information/possible solution. That should be exploit for such posts as No.1 in OP.
4686  Other / Meta / Re: If you see a copy-paste topic from newsletters on: October 11, 2020, 04:21:56 PM
Posting regular is desirable as it shows your active and it's quite tempting that most users would want to post at every chance they get but sometimes, they are just out of what to say which makes them copy and paste articles. Sometimes it could be because, they are just so blown off by the contents of the article that they just don't wish to add anything to it and just copy and paste it. Well, the both is plagiarism and adding the source only helps you to evade ban but it doesn't change what you've done or make it better and isn't worthy of receiving merit.
Instead of a direct copy and paste with source, you can consider researching different and recent materials of value on your topic of interest, form it into a topic in your own words and post. Better still, should you get blown of by an article such that, you really don't wish to add to it, make an introduction and explain just a few concept about it as to why you just feel it's worth reviewing and drop the link. That way, I can think of meriting if need be.
4687  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't reply to private messages from unknown people! on: October 11, 2020, 03:59:49 PM
Obvious scam bullshit, so please report anyone sending you anything similar.
I agree with you that, we shouldn't comply with messages of this nature as it's often scam oriented and to note, Mrs. Elizabeth Edward should have a real friend, cousin, uncle or relatives in what ever category that she could trust or even from the husband's side to handle such task for her, why won't she have the time to use that option than spending time over the web to confuse in a total stranger on financial affairs... It sounds phishy right? Obviously a cheap scam technique.

Again, not replying to private messages from strangers on the forum is kind of not idea for me. For a fact, we are all anonymous to ourselves or at least 90% are though, not a proven statistics. We might be familiar with a few names based on how active the user are but we still remain anonymous and at times, you just might choose to converse with another familiar either because, you feel the user is the best to aid you in answering a particular question or recommend something for you. Not really asking you for financial aiding or trying to divert you to some place or platform. Else, I don't see anything wrong in replying PM from strangers but, the issue of complying and clicking links is very much up to you.
4688  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New members Increase Position on: October 11, 2020, 03:31:56 PM
Seriously, I think this shouldn't be a topic on this board at all. I wonder how you guys arrive at the conclusion of putting this out for review. If it were to be a question, I would understand but then, a one line simple sentence, not even a compound sentence without any detail or context to it is a no for me.

Your asking new members to share blockchain crypto knowledge and be encouraged by ranked members by way of meriting but sadly, you don't seem to reflect what you say and the ratio of bounty posts as per proof of authentication amongst others is high. You could see to making quality and contributive posts and you just might raise your value in this forum and build your rank.
4689  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion about newbies on: October 11, 2020, 01:55:52 PM
I would like to propose a solution about these newbies that don't do anything than damaging and spamming the forum. Once a newbie creates a new topic, the moderation team must approve it first. I wouldn't suggest posts generally because there may be some honest newbies that face an issue. Just for their topics.
This would be a lot of work for the moderators and would require them to be online 24/7 which is very much undesirable for anyone. Having lights steadily flashing your eyes is a danger to health.
I didn't say that moderators have to detect the files. Of course not, that's the last thing a mod should do, but you see files like I mentioned are surely malwares, you don't have to download them.

Restricting newbies from posting links will only damage the honest ones. The spammers will find another way to share their scammy links. (e.g PERFECTCASINO .GAMES)
This feels like a direct contradiction of the above #Yourself. I don't see how they are to approve the topics before public review if they have the freewill to create topics directly on the boards. Or maybe I'm not getting you correctly but, so long as they are allowed to post contents directly on the boards, the result is always going to be same as now. Hence, it's up to users discretion on the links they click.

For a fact, newbies don't really mean your new to the forum as some could be Alts of existing or previously band users hence, a user reviewing any suffisticated content posted by a user should be very cautious as to how is the newbie so knowledgeable at that beginner stage and also with the knowledge that Alt accounts are mostly used to scam others as it means very little to the users, you exercise a lot of caution in accessing files on such post.
4690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: October 11, 2020, 01:30:36 PM
Sir Fergie have good strategy and he get trust from MU boards. even he fail to bring any title, MU still keep him to manage. Maybe current condition in MU not just because of coach, they need to give a chance to every coach as they give to Fergie. or, maybe the problem also come from the inside of board management. In Mourinho era, they still get a title, even not EPL title yet, here I don't understand with MU management, i think they are too early to decide to sacking Mou. (IMI)
One thing we've got to realise is that, it's not just about having entertainment and it's business as well. Having that in mind, the performance of a team because of a great interest amongst the management board. This is why, funds are been realized to ensure the quality of players in the team is improved upon. Let's take a look at manchester city before Gaurdiola came in as Coach, they weren't title contenders to me, the club was a mess until Gaurdiola came in and was properly funded and given liberty to transform the club to the master piece it is today.
If the manager has been given this much fund and liberty and yet his not getting good results, a sack doesn't seem like a bad idea to me. It's business and besides, the players are been paid including the manager too.
4691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A case of the pandemic changing the score and affecting sports betting on: October 11, 2020, 12:29:46 PM
We don't know the mentality or the toughness of every team that we are betting or supporting, this is an extraordinary situation one athlete could easily get infected and it happens to be their main player then the team will not be up to expectation
This is a point that affects bettors not athletes on the pitch and it's virtually true if you look at it. In most aspects, while looking at your statistics to take a guess at the possible line up of a game, line ups is one of the things to watch out for. Now following the advent of the pandemic, the pre-line ups for a game before the start of the game is in disarray and as such, it affects bettors predictability.
Following the fact that, the coronavirus disease is airborne, contained in infected persons fluids and with the fact that, football is a game of contact plus, they have several places of attachment before the games, one can hardly tell where the Covid19 would be contacted from. Which leads to a player being suspended from the games, reduced team morale which in turn has an effect on the results.
4692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on the U.S. Presidential Election 2020 with Bitcoin on: October 11, 2020, 12:13:31 PM
Wow! So surprised to see this a possible or should I say a betting option on bet sites now. It's really numerous the various activities incorporated in bet platforms these days. One can hardly fine a game or option to bet from without seeing it.
Digitalizing bet seems to be one of the best things to have happened to gambling and gamblers and it's very much a good thing.

On the stakes between the Republican candidate Mr. Trump and the Democrat ticket bearer Mr. Biden, it's seems a very risky option to place a bet on as to who wins the presidency election but then,
I have a high hope on Mr. Trump, he has he's way to create confusion and capitalize on it. I see that coming as most strategists will always want to save the best tactics for the last and so with this in mind, I see Mr. Trump being elected for a second tenor. I'll place my bet on Mr. Trump.
4693  Other / Archival / Re: [Merit] Help newbies and those who have a little left to the next rank on: October 11, 2020, 09:56:53 AM
Personally, I feel the newbie category having zero (0) merit should be taken off the criteria as they seem to use the opportunity to spam the thread. Despite the fact that, almost all their posts are based on bounty reports and proof of Authentication.
4694  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcointalk or Cryptotalk? What is the best forum for a beginner? on: October 11, 2020, 09:45:51 AM
To accurately debate this Bitcointalk Vs Cryptotalk as to which is better and an upgrade, it's always best done through an experienced member of both forums. I recently encountered a post on the biginners board that made mention of Cryptotalk and that's the first I heard of it. The user actually debated it on his/her own in this topic:
I want to become a good member of this forum
It was obvious he knew and understood to have stepped on a gold mine by transcending from Cryptotalk to Bitcointalk. That's to tell you, how suffisticated the Bitcointalkforum is. It's an upgrade of all forums.
So, I did a few research on Cryptotalk and I was disappointed as to why we should even debate it!!!

In terms of Organization
Bitcointalk: It's main page is properly organized, divided into boards and sub-boards, each board carries a unique set of information, rules in agreement with the overall rule and is guided by a moderator.
Cryptotalk: it's page is poorly organized and the boards lack a sub-boards, discussion are arranged in an unorderly manner.

Content quality
Bitcointalk: it presents facts in as it is and in an orderly manner, discussions are duely moderated, a strick rules on plagiarism and spamming, low quality content are deleted and off-topic contents are sent to appropriate boards, contents on the board are mainly high quality researched works.
Cryptotalk: it present facts like suggestions, some level of plagiarism are allowed with spamming as the bases for promoting campaigns, most of it's contents are virtually low quality researched works.

Suffistication
Naturally, new models of any technological advancement is supposed to be an upgrade of the formal which should be bigger and better. In the case of Bitcointalk and Cryptotalk, the case is different and in reverse.
Bitcointalk which was created in 2009 by Satoshi Nakamoto remains high and more suffisticated than Cryptotalk which was created in September 2019 by Yobit and Cryptotalk admins in a bid to earnBTC or Alts and its suffistication is just too low in comparison to Bitcointalk. This is as a result of how carelessly and earning centered it was formed.

Purpose
Bitcointalk: centers it's purpose on learning as it's core. Here you learn a lot about Bitcoin and Alts as well, your also met with opportunities to earn and practice certain techniques in various field s of the cryptosphere and how to properly secure what you've acquired.
Cryptotalk: Is based or centered on earnings through which ever means as that is it's core. No doubt, you can easily get scammed in your bid to multiple as that's the mindset of it's users. You virtually encounter little information on how to upgrade based on the series of spam post on the forum, users waste no time in researching for new and beneficial topics to aid other users in security aspects. Hence, it's all about the post counts.

There are a lot to say but then I'll stop here and say this as well, Cryptotalk is not a worthy comparison for Bitcointalk at all with emphasis on 'not a worthy comparison'. No!

Only one thing and one thing along, to survive.
The world we live in, you've got to give before getting. That's the law and often at times, lazy asses feel it's the only means to earning a few penny. What they fail to realize is that, they've always got options.

Immediately I saw the first place winners submission, I had a good feeling about it. It was really a wonderful piece and I'm glad the judges saw that too.
A great thanks to Mr. Roo and the team behind the success of this contest, especially to you Hhampuz, I've known you for great things and you've delivered yet another success.

Congrats to all winners and contestants too. It's great getting to see a light in your perception of art and your unique styles of creativity. Good one.

A special thanks to Mr. Roo, Roobet.com, Hhampuz and the panel of judges for a job well done in seeing this contest through all it's phases and have selected for us the winners.
Though, I didn't compit in this category, you've all done a fine work at contestants.

Congratulations to the winners for a job well done and you all make the earth beautiful with your arts.
4698  Economy / Services / Re: Roobet.com | Art Contest "Craftsmanship" - $1400 up for grabs! Ends October 5th on: October 09, 2020, 11:46:54 PM
It's a fine judgement @Hhampuz, the panel of judges and Mr. Roo. I trust it wasn't easy to make a pick but then, I see fairness and couldn't have wished for more. I won't say it's unfortunate not to have won as I so desired but, the contest made me realize I've got a skill in carving and I guess I'll carve again soon or perhaps try other options as I see here.
It was a great opportunity to have been challenged by Roobet.com to showcase an art of my own idea. Thanks very much and for making this event possible.

Congratulations to everyone who won and have won in the past. You guys continue to set the odds to think and compit more favorable and so, I'm most grateful to you guys as well.
Well done and I respect you all.
4699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A case of the pandemic changing the score and affecting sports betting on: October 09, 2020, 11:22:21 PM
Covid19 have got everything to do with the outcomes in football today. I don't just know but the pandemic has been so devastating on every sector or field of human endeavor. I see what sports is doing today as just a sacrifice for the love of the game and to keep the fire burning in the fans. We love you our beloved sports and athletes.

It's not unusual for results as these France 7-1 Ukraine on the score board this season as we've witnessed so many times in the likes of Barcelona, Liverpool, Schalke04 amongst others and this could be traced to have links with Covid19. Not just about the testing positive but the fan aspect of it. Having fans in the stadium to cheer and boo the players helped them to put their head in the game and make it more business in an entertaining way.
Look what you've done, Covid19!
