I want to become a good member of this forum.

There are many things that we can do for us to become a good member of the forum, we have different styles and techniques to become useful, I have read some topics here in this beginners&help section, I can say that most of the topics here are so helpful for every beginner of the forum and I notice that whenever a topic is really good and useful it receives many merits maybe it is because of the effort, time and for helping other members of the forum, therefore I conclude that whenever a member has many merits, he also contributed many good topics and content as well, just correct me if I am wrong with this. I also amazed for those members that have huge merits that are not too far with the number of posts they have and I realized that it seems like a great feeling being like them, I also want to be like those members with good numbers of merits and here are the things that I am thinking to be like them and to be useful.

I should do these things:
1. Be consistent - consistent in a way that you are consistent with creating good topics, consistent in a way that you are doing the right thing to do here.

2. Be active - the more you active in the forum, the more the knowledge that you can acquire which can help you to become a good bitcoiner and a useful member of the forum.

3. Create a motivation - set a goal and make it as your motivation, you may also consider some members with a good reputation as your idol and be like them.

4. Build a strong dedication for the forum - whenever we are working, we should also be dedicated, we should sink it in our mind that we are responsible for the things that will make our work better,

5. Be comfortable - it is hard for us to work in a certain place when we are not comfortable on it, so the question is how can we become comfortable in this forum.

5.1. Obey the rules of the forum, if we know the rules of the forum then we won't hesitate if we are doing the right thing or not.

5.2 Be professional, set aside your problem, and focus on what you are doing here.

5.3 Don't forget to reward yourself when you achieve something from this forum.

5.4 Acknowledge every simple things around you.

6. Ask for help - asking for help is normal, we really need to ask for help whenever we want to know something, do not let it dies on your mind. We are free to ask and for sure we have many good members here who can help us with the things we want to know.

It's funny how new accounts come and tell you to be a good member. I'm not saying it's bad of OP posting this info, it's just doesn't make any sense at all.

I am not telling you guys that you should do what I posted above, it is just my way to become a good member of this forum just like some other good member of this forum. It just popped up on my mind upon reading some good topics and visiting some members with a good reputation.

What he wanted to say (at least that's how I understood it) is that it will always look a bit suspicious when a brand new account made approximately 24 hours ago starts giving advice how to be a good forum member, or how good member should behave. I don't say that's the case here, but such threads coming from a new accounts might look like merit fishing, as they tend to write an obvious things that people like to hear and therefore award with merit.

Some of the stuff you wrote is not bad, but I would add that people shouldn't see this forum as a workplace (and many do), you should simply be yourself and that's it, do what pleases you. Newbies tend to try too hard, appear more knowledgeable than they really are so they plagiarize and do other stupid things.

Not all newbie start with those important task instead lurking on the bounty section and submit a Proof of authentication post on their target bounty. I give you merit cause your post are not shabby and also I admired low ranks that keeping a good standing. Anyway, just continue and dont be swayed by negative thoughts about you. Considered it as advise and learn from it. Goodluck with your future endeavors.

You can also be a good member by your handywork -service- you can offer your service and see who is in-need or wanting it, and it get appreciated if its exciting/of-help to the person consuming the service also in dark times some member rises and offer their little-big charity this is not a must or to show-off some are anonymous, but needless to say I perceive charity as a value of a good set of members.

I think what is trying to say is that those are the things he needs to do to be come one of the good members of the forum
at the same time, I think this also applies to everyone, consistent, active, creative, dedication, follow the rules of the forum is a recipe to become a good member, good luck and keep it up, i also check your other post ,and you are doing well.

I would say that Trinx01 did all his homework well and theoretically explained everything well, and now it remains for him to apply all that has been said in practice  
We can speculate about his motivation for joining this forum or writing this post but time will tell.

You're going too far, the forum never asked for any of those which are obvious to be the tagged a good members of the forum. Be good could simply means not going against the forum rules and doing this things that will be more beneficial to the forum directly which includes;

• Actively participating in only discussion that'll add value to the forum. Above feeling the generic topic starters so the number of reply they get dies out, also don't forget to never feed the trolls.
• Actively participate in bursting scammers and spammers. These guys are constantly making the forum unfavorable to all
• You can also participate in the trust system not mandatory but I'll be very helpful to the forum, get a custom trust that'll help govern users that'll be voted into DT power

Bro, like all newbies (myself included), you should start by developing a sense of critical thinking and the ability to not go for fads and blindly believe every ad that people try to promote on this forum. And then everything will be great.

You will be a motivated person because you have received merit in accordance with the relevant topic, therefore a position like you will be very appreciated because it provides motivation and procedures for increasing rank according to what you say, therefore if all forum members apply a system like you then that  much better than the word spamer.

 Continue with your work because with this you can increase your ranking according to your abilities, so 1 year you will have reached the target.

Upon seeing your activity and post series, I was curious how a user like yourself with a particular need to be a good forum member could acquire such merit that almost measures up to your rather a handful of posts @Trinx01 but then, it's nice to note, you've been pre-educated in another forum before you got here. Hence, your not just any newbie, but a newbie with a plan and purpose which I'm sure would be attained if you stay true to the path you've just found in bitcointalkforum.

Consistency is a key for going viral and earning recognition in the forum but then, it doesn't comes easily as your better recognized as a quality poster or the ignore button is activated is just in place for you. This is one thing only a newbies don't understand, that your posts can be ignored by a user if your a regular shit poster.
The forum has put relatively strick rules but it also ensures the rules doesn't upset or confiscate your lifestyle as your at liberty to almost everything you choose to do so long as it remains in complains with the rules, it will always end in a win-win.

I support this kind of thread because this is a positive point of view in the forum. We cannot deny that there are loads of shit.posts and other members violating the forum rules and regulations.

It may be look like a merit farming threads rewarding of merits is decentralized. Meaning it is up to the member if they will going to reward or not.

I still remember when I was new in the forum. I always like to read and making replies that sometimes I myself is confused with the topic I am replying. If only I was not able to read post like this then I can do plagiarism or other violations.

The information being shared may not new to us existing members but for the newbies this information could be vital in their journey growing up in the forum. Let just support and guide them always. It is always better to give positive response than doing critism. Critism might do good in the development but I think not to this kind of post to criticize.

I already feel being bullied by other members here in the forum by criticism. But I still grow and learning on positive side not minding critism especially if it is not helpful. Learn the good things shared and keep away from members that are not helping in your development in the forum.

That's what I noticed, too, OP. I'm actually glad that you wrote "I should do these things". It's in the first person POV so it's more of a realization for you. But with that also comes a message to your fellow newbies on how they can become a good forum member, too, in your own opinion and observation. So thanks for that and good luck on your journey.

It is very easy to become a good and helpful member of this forum. Everything you need to do is mentioned in your post. Being consistent in every post and continuing to make useful posts will give a positive value to your account.

You must enjoy your work in this forum, never feel that you are of no use in this forum. When you become a good member and deserve to move up the rankings then you will get satisfying results.

Always ask for help and ask questions when you don't understand what to do in this forum so that your problem can be resolved.

No, you don't. Just include it once you are talking about Bitcoin.
Force yourself to include Bitcoin word whereas you are not talking about it, instead it probably will lead you to "OOT" (out of topic).
The forum never forces you to talk about Bitcoin every time. There are too many topics here, you don't always discuss Bitcoin. You are free to create any topics as long as it fits with the board where you post it.
