4681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Need some help to Understand Bounty campaign on: December 21, 2020, 12:51:33 PM
The only bounties that are safe are those that are paid in bitcoin, eth, Usdt and other crypto that is available to the market and are escrowed.

Indeed. Although there aren't that many altcoin campaigns paying in tradeable coins, this should be the standard for all serious projects. Imagine that you want to run a marketing campaign on google or facebook, but tell them that you'll pay for it when (if) your project succeeds. It'd be funny, wouldn't it?
4682  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: New Ledger phishing mail targets individual users on: December 21, 2020, 12:39:05 PM
Lots of reports on Reddit of people receiving ransom emails with their real name and address, and demanding payment to not be physically attacked. Horrendous.

This is really disturbing. I can't even imagine how these people are feeling right now.
4683  Economy / Speculation / Re: Covid 2.0 UK has suffered massively and BTC is dropping on: December 21, 2020, 12:16:46 PM
Many disagree that this pandemic has had a major impact on Bitcoin this year. Yeah, we have seen a significant increase in the price of Bitcoin, but several factors have had an impact on it. Bitcoin halving, institutional adoption as both an investment and as a service, PayPal... It is also needless to compare the stock market with Bitcoin, since we have observed in some cases that the two markets do not inherently correlate.

Covid pandemic can have both positive and negative impacts on Bitcoin. It all depends on people's perception.

4687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Need some help to Understand Bounty campaign on: December 21, 2020, 08:52:34 AM
There are so many bounty campaign that moderate by newbie with 2/3 activities, is that kind of bounty are safe and believable?

Some projects value the community enough to hire a respectable manager to run their campaign, while others do not. Of course, this doesn't mean that the project is fake and won't pay bounty participants, but a good-track bounty manager would definitely add to the success of the campaign.
4688  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: New Ledger phishing mail targets individual users on: December 21, 2020, 08:43:02 AM
Looks like we can expect a new stream of Ledger phishing emails.
The stolen database has become available for free on 'RaidForums'. Ledger confirmed.

4689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: December 20, 2020, 11:48:59 PM
Market trends likely boost Litecoin even more further so is there any have chance to make entries for short? Whether it happens or not, market is pretty green and that’s a very good thing.
I wouldn't choose short-swing trading this kind of strategy in this situation, i just do one thing that is HOLD, not buying ,not selling, Litecoin is up 13% in the last 24 hours, indeed it is a good sign.
It is hard to short. I think you can think to short around 200$, just my opinion.  What do you use to short?

No! It's still too early to short. I think Litcoin can get closer to ATH if Bitcoin maintains this position or continues to go up. Market sentiment looks good at the moment.
4690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: List of Bounty Campaign 2021 at Bitcointalk.org on: December 20, 2020, 11:33:58 PM
The table is not an advertisement for all projects in a row, these are all projects advertised on this forum collected in one table.
I'm not going to charge a fee for my work, but if someone gives me a merit, then I will not refuse. Although newbies do not have them.

--------

Well, keep going with that. Any effort will be noticed sooner or later. Merits will come by themselves.
4691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Solar panel mining without battery backup on: December 20, 2020, 11:04:53 PM
no you arent able doing solar mining without backup electric/hybrid, when shadow from the cloud hitting the panel, you will lose almost 80-90% of peak power

so if 1000w you will lose 800-900w, and the miner will lose the power, i think hybrid its only way to deal, if you wont using battery

I don't know where you got that information from, but I think you're mistaken.
Solar panels use daylight energy to produce electricity, but they do not require direct sunlight to function. They will not lose 80-90% of their power during cloudy days but will produce about 50% (depending on performance and quality) of their nominal power.
4692  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitamp Bitcoin Web Wallet - Send & Receive Bitcoin Instantly! on: December 20, 2020, 10:42:40 PM
Bitamp can you think of adding option to sign a message from Bitamp wallet?
This option exists for Electrum wallet, and blockchain.com had this option before but I don't know any online wallet with this function.

Blockchain.com still has this functionality (it's just a little more difficult to find).

I agree that any wallet, if there is ownership of private keys, should have the option of signing messages. This is sometimes required to prove ownership of a specific address.
I hope this is also one of the priorities of Bitamp developers. Wink

Čestitke na tituli Rikafip! Definitivno zasluženo. Ti si moj idol u scam busting-u! Grin

Žao mi je da TryNinja nije pobijedio u nekoj od kategorija. Mislim da je njegov Ninjastic.space najbolji alat koji postoji za pretragu bitcointalk foruma.

Thank you Bitcoin for your pump, reducing the satoshi amount I have now received compared to the one I could have received when the competition actually started!;)

Yeah, that's the downside I guess. Fiat currencies should really be banned from the bitcointalk.org forum. Wink

Congratulations on your achievement!
