That being said, I might have to buy some BitCoins now.   I think a hardware wallet is the best, but I need advice form more experienced BitCoin experts when dealing with large amounts that BitCoin is now worth.   Do you guys have any suggestions on the best, most secure way to purchase and store BitCoins without getting scammed or hacked

Buy on the top exchanges to make sure that you're on the right platform. Avoid buying on exchanges that you are not familiar with. That's the least that you can do if you're planning to buy bitcoins right now. And to avoid being hacked, don't click or install software that are unnecessary. There's no need for you to install a bunch of wallets just for you to be safe. If you're buying a hardware wallet, you buy directly to the manufacturer just like in ledger's official website.

You shouldn't buy bitcoin just because its price is going up. You should always buy bitcoin (or more precisely dump your fiat for bitcoin) when you realize that what bitcoin offers as a decentralized currency that can not be shut down or censored is useful for you. You don`t have to regret anything all those prediction are just speculation it just happen that bitcoin pump and many have been caught off guard, when bitcoin hit 20K many have said it will make a big correction but instead it keeps climbing now that it breaks another all time high better focus your resources to altcoins since investing on BTC is now riskier and expensive at the moment.

Well, regret will always be in the end and nothing to be sad because we cannot predict the future no matter what. We can only speculate the future of bitcoin's price but we cannot predict it to go low or high in the future. One thing positive about it is that bitcoin is proving doubters and haters wherein it reached it's all time high. As majority of people said, don't buy bitcoin because of it's price but buy it for long-term purpose and be part of the ideology.

That's how the crypto space works, when the price was really down in March because of the pandemic, many were afraid to buy until it started rising, and yet many were still afraid to buy, until now, so you don't have to regret a thing but just pick yourself up and re-strategize. To say the truth, the price now is high and there should be a price correction anytime, maybe you have to wait for it; also, are you holding for long term? This will help you decide when to enter the market.
On the other hand, about the best wallet, first thing first remember to save your private keys, secondly go for hardware wallets and thirdly buy from good exchanges like Binance.

Many top exchanges can be your choice but I recommend Binance for you I am sure that if a hack occurs then Binance will be fully responsible but I hope this will not happen again because this incident is so terrible.

Oh Yeah! I remember that was the month when we last saw the last decline in its price and when the price was rising after that, it never fell again and until now the price is still kicking up. no one really knows when will it stop. When the price was kept holding on $19,000, that was one of the indications that the price won't gonna fell anymore since it was able to held at that long. Now the price continues to increase and no one can tell when will it stop.
