4681  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: July 04, 2017, 12:49:30 AM
Kaya before August 1 or mas much if ngayon na gawin at ayaw niyo naman magwithdraw ng bitcoin into cash, isave niyo na ang bitcoins niyo sa isang wallet na may private key feature. Pero if you want since alam ng coins.ph ang dapat gawin, magkaroon sana sila ng options to choose if ever there will be a chain split.

Pero for me, mas ok kung nasa akin ang coins ko bago ang August 1 so that comfortable ako na hawak ko talaga.
4682  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC will up. dont worrry on: July 04, 2017, 12:30:40 AM
The price of bitcoin these days is just a normal movement of the price if you see the price was fall expect there are still many investors are buying bitcoin because any traders and investors are looking for low or cheap price .. that is why it is hardly to see that the price will reduce a lot..
Bitcoin movement these days was in a good condition and the movement is slowly increase that i think it can past back again in $2,700 value these following days.. So always monitor the movement and watch the market if you many green in the market expect that the price soon will increased..

Others just want to see some big price increase in an instant without realizing that it's impossible to happen continously because of fluctuations so expect a price decrease always after an increase. What they must realized is, the increase in price have bigger gains compare to price decrease so still even a price crash will happen, we can considered the correction price was decent high.

In crypto we must understand that pumps and dumps always linked to each other. People must treat this movement as their challenge in order to gain more profits out of trading for the long term.
4683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take place in the wagering tournaments? on: July 04, 2017, 12:10:57 AM
Hi guys!
Wagering tournaments is something that I found that divides gamblers the most. Some of us hate them, some of us love them. What do you think about them? Do you consider them like a waste of money and nearly a fraud because you have to spend too much to have the chance chance to win? Do you like more alternatives like Oshi.io's win ration based tournaments? Or others kind? Or do you like them because they are easy to understand and you can influence your chances by betting more?
Let us know what you think!
Yours OshiHugo,
Oshi.io CM

It's not that others or me hate them or something. It's just that I found it not comfortable for this kind of tournaments. First, I need to beat them all which has low chance since there are big whales around. Second, how can I know the legitimacy of the contest since it's easy to setup an account for the owner and joined the tournament. Third and last, I really don't like to spend bunch of money for this kind of tournament.

Interesting! All of you. I can't even respond to everyone sadly :/
But in general - do you think that shorter tournaments that take place more often are better than the longer ones? What about some really short tournaments?
Also, which is better? Having an entering fee and starting with the same amount and then casual wagering or just win-ration based betting where you are free to bet any amount but you only get points based on your winration? eg. you get more points for betting 1mBTC and winning 10mBTC than for betting 500mBTC and winning 2000mBTC.?

To answer this, I maybe biased but it's better to put the waiger tournament for short time but not that short. Maybe to span of a week and over etc.

About the option, I can't say it generally since the choices you have given might be better or not to gamblers as they have different perspectives. To test it, make a first tournament and see how it goes. List all "must be" and "should be" so that the revamp on second tournment will gonna be smooth.

As per devs,

Quote
"We will be distributing HYBRID tokens soon. We are distributing the tokens equally across all chains. I asked all participants to create an address on all seven chains of: Omni, Ethereum, NEM, Bitshares, Counterparty, NXT, Waves.

Alternatively you can wait for our beta wallet, but that still takes some time."

How can we check how are blog posts went?
And what do we need to provide to get paid?

Quote
Distribution of the tokens will take place after July 1st, and we are working hard to launch this
multi-chain token technology to an exchange. Trading of HYBRID will first be segmented, until the
technology to fuse the individual units together has been implemented. Please trade with caution!

Devs are giving regular updates. Stay tuned at the thread.

paano po mag pataas ng rank? desidido po kse ako aralin to sana mrami ako mtutunan salamat po Smiley

First of all, di pagpapataas ng rank ang pinunta mo dito. Pumunta ka dito para matuto anything about bitcoin and di ang pagpaparank. Hayaan mo lang ang maggrow ang account mo ng di nagmamadali. If may mga questions ka about bitcoin, just use search button like for example how to earn, how to etc. etc.

4689  Economy / Securities / Re: where to invest? on: June 27, 2017, 04:06:12 PM
Guys can you give me some legit and real sites to invest my bitcoin to earn more! there were so many sites out there but i cant just invest on them because I dont know if they are real or just scam! And also do you think guys that those coin/bitcoin doubler are true?

Forget that doubler scheme as if it's true. Just think of it, all people will invest BTC1, for let's say 1,000 persons, how come the company can pay them?

Those persons who believes much in that scheme are those lazy ones. Try to find other method that involved works and efforts to earned. Soon you will realized that it's better to work to earned that to rely on passive income in which you aren't sure if it's true.
4690  Economy / Economics / Re: crypto is the future, make money of it on: June 27, 2017, 01:17:35 PM
What do you think about the fact that cryptocurrencies will literally be the future ? In a few years, it will exploded and, be rich if we hold many ?
Crypto has a future, but majority of altcoin are shit coins only few of them are seems to me that can be considered
as potential coins such as Litecoin, Xem, Maid, and Eth, and aside from that you can make a lot of money too into a altcoins.
They all have a potential and some are shitcoins now but in the future they might turn into a legitimate coin.
Changes will happen as they continue to exist and it depends on the developers how they will perform to make their project worthy.
Diversify your investment now, so you will not regret in the future.

Some are shitcoins now but in the future it's possible that they will turn into legitimate coin? lol.

Above poster is right, once a shitcoin will always be a shitcoin until the end. Do you think investors will put money and trust to a coin that is shitcoin in the past? Shitcoin developers will likely make a new coin rather than to revive the shitcoin as it was obvious no one will invest there.
4691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather Vs McGregor: Info and prediction thread on: June 27, 2017, 11:57:05 AM
McGregor has to use his reach advantage to be successful and McGregor probably has the edge in power, but Mayweather power comes with how quick his hands are.

There are lots of Mayweather's opponent who have more power than him. That's why Mayweather always plays safe no matter what critics will throw to him for being a boring boxer. Defense is more his priority and will just attack when there is an opening. No way he will goes aggressive just to win.

He is aging now and no way he will just give up the record that's why rather than to think of others saying, as long as he can defend, he will find McGregor's hole first before launching an attack.
4692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how to store bitcoin for long term? on: June 27, 2017, 05:41:11 AM
I would like to do the following:

generate a publickey/private key combi.
send some small btc to the publicaddress and send it back to test it works.
send main sum btc to the publickey.
safely store the private key, without risking someone figures out what it is.

How can I best do this?

Lots of guides and tutorials are out now on the internet. You can read some of them as only you will get a mixed information here and some replies are definitely out of topic.

How? Go to google and search for "storing bitcoin for long term bitcointalk" and it will give you the results from bitcointalk forum. If outside of bitcointalk just removed the term bitcointalk on the search and it will give you some of the sites articles and tutorials.
4693  Other / Off-topic / Re: Did someone you know in the real world invite you here? on: June 27, 2017, 05:21:14 AM
I want to tell a friend about this place, but am not sure how. "There are lot's of fights, thefts, Civil Wars, etc, but wait, it is an amazing place"
Certainly someone will understand this, what do you tell people in advance before asking them to check it out?

I just told them if they want to learn more about bitcoin and to interact with the bitcoin community (since we have local section) then just go here. No other supporting details. Not all the time I can assist them to their bitcoin question that's why to maximize their bitcoin awareness, I told this site.

Some continues and some dont's. Now I can see who on my friends is willing to learn bitcoin for long term.
4694  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge? on: June 27, 2017, 04:49:47 AM
The very simple thing I've been doing to spread the knowledge on bitcoin is just to make sure to people that bitcoin can be used as real currency and I exchange bitcoin to the currency I use by way of transfer to the atm I use so that People are more confident about the truth of bitcoin so it can be a real currency.

People with no idea will really surprised if they saw us doing some transaction at BTCitcoin ATM station. Since the term bitcoin was on the ATM machine itself, no wonder they will asked questions to themselves, what is that all about?

Good thing you have BTCitcoin ATM's installed in your area. Are there lots? Here in my country, we are using banks ATM to withdraw bitcoins. Normal isn't it? But what's surprising here if others will saw us, we aren't using any ATM cards so they will be confused how come we able to withdraw.
4695  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: June 27, 2017, 04:35:03 AM

So in essence it's better to hold Bitcoin than gold because due to its high volatility it is likely to grow higher in prices than gold which is somewhat stable and moves in prices very slowly.

It's not about being better when it holds. Golds are now used in many ways globally that's why even the price is stable, profit here thru using it is good that worth or even more when they also does holding of bitcoin which tooks time. Gold investors can bag profits even for daily basis for about 100% to 200% profit which is only possible in bitcoin whenever there is a massive price increase.

Because of that traits, use gold on real world while hold bitcoin on online world. They are different in both ways so it's non sense if we will compare them thru one method of earning which is holding.
4696  Other / Off-topic / Re: Manage your bitcoins on: June 26, 2017, 05:38:12 PM

4697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In Gambling, Money is not everything on: June 26, 2017, 05:23:02 PM

experience will teach you how to be wiser and have self control in order to continue inside gambling, its all about money controls those who knows how to manage their bankroll correctly will gain and those who are not will learn some big lesson that gambling is not the way to earn but one of the good ways to relax and enjoy.

In any kinds of money related thing e.g gambling, businesses, investment etc. experience will really build a person.

In gambling, while doing this kind of thing regularly, we can think of lots of ways how to managed our precious bankroll so that we are not just risking the money by losing but we are maintaining our bankroll to run for long. Disregarding the dice related games, proper managing of bankroll is one you can to those long time gamblers especially in sports betting. Look at how far they are in the profession and still kicking everytime they do bet. Because of the experience they build, they already improved their respective ways and strategies to deal with gambling.
4698  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Internet Marketing on: June 26, 2017, 11:55:39 AM
In my opinion the most important part of internet marketing is to define your target audience. Then use as much sources as you can to reach it! I'm prefer to start with social media, such as fb, twitter, and instagram.

It's a must that you must target your audience that's why you need to placed it on a platform or sites that have an interesting traffic. And one best place is social media platform as no doubt there are lots of users of it nowadays.

But because it will target random people, try to find a specific social media group of what thing you will advertise so that it can target your preferred audience. E.g Crypto group in facebook, Techy group, students, cyberzone etc.
4699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Based on People's Faith on: June 26, 2017, 10:02:49 AM
People believes in bitcoin because they have reason to believe.

That's why the strong foundation of bitcoin is the development of it. Once it was fully enhanced, people's faith will be more stronger as time passes by. What about those newbies who doesn't know technically about bitcoin? Their faith came from what they read as positive or others saying. And once they slowly learned what bitcoin is, then expect they will have more faith to bitcoin.
4700  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's happening with crypto markets? on: June 26, 2017, 09:29:59 AM
Still not alarming since I consider the current price decrease of bitcoin was still on normal. And for some altcoin, still no such thing as big dump that I consider.

If you have an active investment and you already seeing the loss then that's part of the risk you take the moment you start trading cryptos. For now, just watched the price. Rather than take it as a problem, take the chance to grab more coins.
